Curiosity and a Cat? (Audric)

She had finally arrived. A teleportation from a hidden station on earth had brought her right up to the academy. The room had been supplied and she only brought a few personal effects along to put her own mark in the room she was to share with this boy. She had not met him yet and really wasn't looking forward to it because he was not going to be happy having to be with a para human.

She was ugly and unfit to wed anyone but somehow her parents had sold her off to the family of Alaunte and now she was forced to be this boys bride when it came time. Stepping into the academy she smiled softly. Her pointed ears moved every which way taking in all the sounds and her tail moved from side to side rather sharply. She was nervous and it showed. Swallowing the lump in her throat she had made her way to her dorm room finding it on her own.

It was set up so that she would arrive before him. She was supposed to make sure everything was ready and perfect before Audric arrived. Opening the door to her dorm she was amazed at the oppulence. Fine silk and velvet draped the room in rich white and lavender hues. A chandeleer of pure crystal hung from a high ceiling casting rainbows of light around the room.

Plush cushions lay on the window seat that she knew would be her bed. The morning sun to wake her in the morning and the stars to sing her to sleep would be perfect. The bed covers were made to keep even the coldest person warm on a snowing night. Soft plush covers alternated white and lavender with sky blue and silver. The top most cover only lay over half the bed was made of polar bear fur. She ran her hands over it and smiled. She didn't belong here.

The furniture was carved and ornate. Well cared for and she predicted antique. Huge armoires held clothing for her and for him. The kitchen was fully stocked and the stainless steel look only allowed the room to continued to flow without even realizing it was a kitchen and not just a bar.

In the bathroom the theme continued and it was huge. Never in her life had she seen anything so large. White marble with sky blue and silver accents was amazing. A tub the size of a hot tub complete with jets and benches to sit on. The shower had multiple heads and it was a long walk in one with no door. She was amazed that any place could be so beautiful.

She unpacked her few things. A picture of her parents on the desk. Her school supplies in a messenger bag leaned against the desk. A jewelry box was placed in her armiore as she ran her hands through the clothes in there. Her tattered clothes had to go and pulling out a black shirt and a short black skirt all had been altered for her tail she changed quickly.

She looked so much better in these. They fit her body perfectly showing off her assets and her tail swished happily as she through her old clothes away. Putting on the thigh high socks she moved to the window seat and curled up on it looking out at the academy below. Her small purple stuffed puppy lay in her arms as she watched.

Audric had arrived.

The Arcane Academy seemed imperious and commanding a perfect place to expand his natural talent and improve upon his gifts. More importantly his fiance was already here waiting for him at there dormitory room that had been set up. It had been arranged that she would arrive before him to spruce a few things up and make it more welcoming. His finger lightly grazed the spellbook for a brief moment as he turned his attention back to the Academy and gazed at the massive doors that were beckoning him to come in. He walked past several students his black leather boots echoing on the floor catching the attention of them but, that wasn't the only reason. Black magic just seemed to call from him leaving a cool shiver to those sensitive to magic merely by his presence.

This place is to be my current home. A place away from my family so to speak to better please them. If it is anything like I saw from my brief glimpse at the city then it will be quite.. enjoyable.

Rain had trickled down his jacket since it had started raining by the team he walked to the Academy from the teleporter. He gave a small smile though since he had always enjoyed the rain personally. It always seemed to match his mood whenever he was in deep thought or up to something. Audric reached the elevator and glanced at an envelope he carried gazing at the letter inside for the room number. He removed the ornate silver key and pocketed as he exited the elevator when it had reached the floor that he was on. She was already there at the room he knew that much. His future wife and his love to be if they ever felt something for each other. Given the reason for their marriage it was probably not going to be a good start.

"1151..." he murmured in that soft whispery voice of his and he finally reached the door at the end of one of the halls on the dormitory floor.

A click as the key went in unlocking the door again.

A sigh as the door opened and he gazed at the room searching briefly through it but, his eyes fell on her. Surprise crossed his mind but, didn't show on his expressionless face as he removed his hat and placed it on a waiting hook. A beautiful and serene girl sitting at the windowseat the only reason he knew it was Tavia was because of her tail and ears that matched her silky auburn hair. Yet also he knew she was the only one that had a key to this room as well. He sat his book on the desk removing his messenger bag and sitting it beside hers. The desk ornate and made of beautiful polished wood as he walked over to where she sat. A soft pale hand reached out his curiousity getting the better of him as he lightly scratched the ear.

"Good afternoon Tavia," he said softly to her in that silky voice of his.

The door clicked and she turned her head to see her fiance' coming into the room. He was beautiful. Somehow she had just not expected him to be so .. handsome her eyes widened a little and she smiled warmly at him.

"Welcome home." she said in her soft and sweet voice.

She watched as he set his things down. His white hair seemed to shimmer with the light of the chandelier. She couldn't believe that he was the one that they wanted her to marry. I mean he could have any girl he wanted and they wanted him with her.

He reached over to her after setting his bag down. He didn't even seem to notice the oppulence of the room. He reached up and began playing with her ears. She closed her eyes and deep sated purr came out as she leaned against him gently. She didn't think he would be so accepting of the fact that she was so different but he didn't seem to mind at all.

"Are you hungry or anything?" she asked softly nuzzling into him as he played with her over sensitive ears. Her tail brushing his side as it swayed happily.

He almost let a smile trace his lips as his fingers lightly scratched her seemingly sensitive ears that his fingers were currently working on as she leaned against him. She was warm. Very warm. Like the electric blanket that you would snuggle under when you were a kid. Her ears soft and kittenish to the touch. That's what she was. An oversized kitten. He gave a smile at that little nickname that crossed his mind. His sweet little kitten that was so adorable. He heard her soft voice. So sweet and cute the kind that could make any average guy drool and fall over but, he didn't show any drooling. A soft tail brushed his side and he smiled at her as he looked at her cute little tail brushing against him ever so slowly showing how much she was enjoying the touch.

"Just a bottle of tea sounds fine, you should get yourself a drink as well. Afterwords we can sit at the window seat and talk and get to know one another. After all we're not only sharing this room but, we're going to be togeather for the rest of our lives," he said in that same soft voice as he lightly ran his fingers through her hair now. Simple touches that showed his endless curiousity.

Such a cute thing.

"Your ears are very soft..." he murmured.

She smiled as he did. There was something rather nice about him and she was kinda glad he didn't treat her like crap. She wanted to get to know him better and she felt like maybe they could in the least become friends if nothing else.

When he told her to get him some tea she nodded. Staying for a moment longer as he ran his fingers through her soft hair. She took very good care of herself and even her skin due to the silken hair instead of the normal human hair that covered it was like velvet. She smiled and blushed a little at him.

"Thank you." she said softly as she nuzzled into him a little and scurried off to get tea.

She walked with grace that was feline in any right. She didn't have to try she was just pure grace. Her tail swished from side to side as she walked to the kitchen. She opened the fridge and bent over slightly grabbing two bottles of tea and shaking them she returned to him.

"Here you are." she said as she pulled herself up into a kneeling position on the window seat leaving plenty of room for him. "I'd like to hear all about you." she added as she made herself comfortable.

"Mostly first I would like to know your likes and dislikes." she said softly as she sipped her tea.

There was something almost purely innocent about her that he could notice completely as she just nuzzled into his touch. Her hair was a soft velvet silk that could make a guy drop to his knees in pure joy because of how wonderful it felt. He gave a smile at her and watched her get up moving like a graceful cat her tail swishing behind her for balance and look. He couldn't help but, notice the way her skirt just swished perfectly and showed off her assests quite nicely making him pause in his thinking for that moment. He couldn't help but, think alittle dirtily as he watching her move around. How she bent over when she reached the kitchen area her skirt flaring just enough to tease and tempt in a way that would drive most guys mad. He watched her come back with that cute little smile on her kittenish face as he saw her sit down.

"Thank you," he murmured as he sat down beside her and slipped a hand back some and lightly began to scratch her tail ever so temptingly. There was just something about here that he always wanted to touch in some way.

"Well likes and dislikes huh I don't like olives and mushrooms I can't stand the stuff, interrupted when I'm composing a spell is bound to irritate me unless it's you needing something, or well basically someone not being honest." He shrugged slightly. "Likes well I enjoy quiet moments, staying warm, and just reading or having pleasant conversation." He said softly as he thought about it for a moment.

"To be honest it's more of impulsive like or dislike thing with me so I can't really say that easily. What about you? Likes, dislikes, and also your favorite treat."

She leaned against him and let her tail sit on his leg so it was easier for him to run his fingers through the hair there. It was sensitive but not so much as her ears though a slight and soft purr came out of her anyway. She closed her eyes and listened to what he had to say.

He hated mushrooms and she chuckled. And olives too it seemed as she grinned softly. She could understand many of the things that he said. She could indeed belive that those would be hard points.

"I can understand just about all of that. I hate when people lie and I like to have good coversations. I don't like mushrooms because they just look bad and olives.. well what's the point to eating those really? They don't actually add taste to anything." she said with a shrug.

"As for me. I hate it when people are mean and cruel especially to me. I don't like eating eggs they just.. taste nasty." she said and shivered. "I like to have long coversations and I really enjoy soft touches and I like watching the sunset."

She snuggled up into him a bit more.

"Are you happy that... your parents are having you marry me?" she asked softly her hazel eyes opened as she looked up into his eyes.

He gave a gentle smile to her as he pulled her a tad closer then usual and enjoyed the mutual warmth that they had. Where he was a bit chilled all the time she was warmer then normal so it fit out just fine. He just enjoyed that soft touch that she had because it was so warm and peaceful he couldn't help but, enjoy it and savor it. He listened to her talk and gave a smile himself when she said that she hated eggs and had to admit he didn't care for them himself as he moved his hand up to scratch her ears again gently. Light little scratches at the base of her ear as he listened to her for the moment and just gave a smile at her innocent question. Instead he tilted her head up as he removed his glasses and sat them on the windowsil.

"Well we haven't really gotten to know each other but..." he leaned forward and placed a single kiss on her lips for a few moments letting her have a chance to return it before he broke it. He smiled down at her his lavender gaze meeting her own beautiful and charming gaze.

So soft and warm as well...I'm definantly sleeping next to her...

"So you can't ask for a judgement yet that needs alittle time."

His hand went back up to her ears and her eyes closed. She began to purr loudly as she nuzzled into him. She was not going to fight this marriage at the moment she was much much too comfortable right this moment. It was nice to be touched gently and accepted for what she was instead of being treated like a freak.

She felt him lift up her chin as he began to answer her question and she looked up into his eyes. Without his glasses his eyes were just beautiful and she blushed. A small red blush coloring her pale soft cheeks. She smiled and then he kissed her. For a moment her eyes widened but then closed softly and she kissed him back. Her hand cupped his cheek as they held the kiss gently and then he broke it.

"Okay." she whipsered softly.

She had just been given her first kiss and she couldn't help but be happy about that. It had been wonderful and soft. It was just perfect. She sipped her tea a bit more before placing the cap back on it again and setting it aside. Getting rather bold she moved into his lap and nuzzled up into him. Her hand stroked his chest gently. She could only hope that he wouldn't mind but as he had just kissed her she figured he wouldn't.

"So what is your favorite thing to do in the evenings?" she asked softly.

"For me I would have to say I enjoy watching the sunset. I like to go on swims in the evenings and I like to sleep under the stars. I like to go into the forest and spend the nights some times underneath the stars with nature serenading you to sleep gently. It's just nice to be in nature sometimes you know?" she asked softly as she nuzzled into his chest and neck.

Every moment she purred was pure and adorable he couldn't help but, feel slightly addicted to it all. The soft little kittenish purr was something that he enjoyed more and more because he felt like it was just for him. Like she was purring only because of him and nothing else. It was that feeling that she had been given to him and she was to be prized and valued above anything else. He smiled and continued touching and caressing her soft velvet ears enjoying that little innocent purr that she gave because it was so addictive. Just that cute little noise that you'll never get tired of no matter who you have on the other side of the street. He smiled at her lightly as he continued to touch and caress ever so gently.

Her reaction to the kiss had been priceless as well. She reacted to the kiss with surprise and she returned it equally as he had given it making him smile a bit more and feel more confident about this. He heard her whisper as he felt her soft touches on his cheek and nuzzled into her hand lightly. It was so warm something that you could just snuggle into at night and just fall into a deep and reastfull sleep. He gave another small smile as he thought about that. He listened to her speak once more on how she liked spending her time outside and enjoying the peaceful forest. How she liked listening to the stars while she slept under them and listening to the sounds of night and nature reaching her delicate little ears.

I can see us doing that...us sharing a sleeping bag and enjoying the evening...

"We should go out and do that sometime just the two of us sharing a sleeping bag and each other's warmth as we nuzzle in and enjoy the starlight," he whispered lightly and scratched her ears a bit more vigorously wondering if her purr would increase in loudness as he briefly considered his response to what she said and gave a little hmmmmm sort of noise.

"For me it's just sitting back and relaxing with a good book and nuzzled up under the covers. Just unwinding from a long day and relaxing where you know nobody is going to rush and say you need to do something," he whispered softly as he lightly ran his fingers against her cheek and away from her ears gazing into her eyes and gave a smile as he leaned forward and kissed her cheek lightly.

"That purr of yours is addictive..." he whispered in her ear.

When his hand began to work on scratching her ears even more her purr much to his delight did indeed get louder. She smiled softly and leaned into him. She enjoyed his soft touches and his acceptance. It was nice to feel that way in here to be so accepted having only just met. Her purr was as loud as ever when he really worked her soft ears over.

"Really?!" she exclaimed when he said they could spend the night outside where it would be just them. In one sleeping bag they would surely be warm as heated as she was just naturally. Even on a cold night she could probably keep the both of them warm.

"I would like that so very much." she admitted to him and her eyes opened when his hand began to touch her cheek.

She smiled softly at the kiss and the comment. Opening her eyes a bit more she looked up into his violet depths and leaned forward she kissed the very tip of his nose. She giggled and snuggled up into him even more. His lap was really comfortable and she felt safe and wanted here. There was no other place at this exact moment she would rather be than right here right this moment.

"A book and cuddling sounds good too. And Ill try to never bother you when you're working on a spell. Unless you're working too hard and need a break of course." she chuckled happily.

Each time she snuggled closer he gave a smile but, finally decided that it would have to be taken a step further soon enough as he watched his little kitten purr. Purr that delectable purr even more loudly then before. It was just too addictive he had to make a mental note on it that he was going to have her purring often enough. He heard her exclamation over them going out camping one of these days and he gave a soft chuckle and a nod that they could do it. It was nice to see her so perpetually happy like this. Kind of a reversal of his mood which he didn't mind at all. He gave another smile she was so naive and innocent as well another welcome oppisite to his usual moods as he shifted her.

Shifted her to where she was straddling his lap instead of just sitting in it as he smiled and tucked her hair aside. He smiled at the kiss on his nose as he slipped his arms around her waist this time and gazed at her with a serious expression for a moment. She was such a cute person but, more importantly there was no doubt about it she was hot. Yet here she was so innocent and unaware just how good-looking she was. It was something that was too be savored just like the rest of her there was no doubt about that as he pulled her closer to where their chests were against each other. He tilted her head up giving a smile for a moment as he gazed into her eyes. Those beautiful little eyes that just seemed to sparkle.

"Actually," he mummured as he tucked her hair back away from her face for a moment as he leaned forward.

"I'd like another kiss," he whispered to her softly as he pulled her into a deeper kiss his hands caressing down her back and the base of her tail.

In his lap she felt safe and comfortable. He was sweet to her and she couldn't help but smile. He repositioned her in his lap and she went along willingly. She didn't mind that he moved her. In fact this was a bit more comfortable that the last. He brushed her hair from her face and she nuzzled into his touches gently.

When he pulled her forward she went willingly. Leaning against his chest she nuzzled into his neck kissing it very lightly. She closed her eyes as he cuddled her a bit more. She could only smile and purr softly almost inaudbily. When he lifted up her chin she smiled. He wanted another kiss and he got one.

She leaned in and kissed him back meeting him half way. The kiss was harder this time but still soft and sweet. When it broke she blushed deeply and giggled burrowing her face into his neck.

"So what shall we do on our first night, dear?" she asked softly as she nuzzled into him more her hand running through his hair and his tail flicking back and forth.

He saw how willing she was to come forth and just be caressed and cuddled it was something that he was enjoying because it was her. The cute little kitten that was purring inaudibly in his lap as he felt her straddling him. The way her skirt just seemed to be temptingly over his lap and he gave a smile as he kissed her neck lightly. She was just so soft and so sweet always so happy to do things and he was glad that she returned the kiss. It made it better and more fufilling something that he had to admit was rather nice as he kissed her neck lightly. There was just so much things to be done he had no doubt about that but, for now he was content with his finace' right there in his embrace and snuggling against him so cutely.

"Right now? Right now I want to just lay down with you in the bed and the just hold you close to me. Just keep you close and enjoy the mutual warmth that we share and get some rest. Maybe later we'll have something to eat and drink just enjoying the evening since it's raining we could perhaps open a window to better listen to the sound of it all," Audric murmured as he felt her fingers going through his hair and gave a brief smile.

That touch is going to be addictive as hell whether I'm doing it to her or she is the one that's doing it to me.

"Is that all right with you?" he asked as he kissed the top of her head gently.

Tavia smiled as he held her closely. Her luck had certainly come into play when she had met him. Not only had she been upset that her parents had sold her but she had felt unloved and demeaned by it all. How could you not when the family that you loved so much decided you were worth more gone than there. Money meant more than their daughter.

"I'd like to cuddle in the bed with you. And all the other things you listed sound wonderful as well. The rain makes me sleepy so tonight if I fall asleep in your bed I'm sorry. Just move me." she said softly as she nuzzled into him gently.

It was true rain put her to sleep as if she wasn't even there. She was zonked out and in a full and deep sleep the rain a symphony singing to her and she thought about how wonderful it would be when it started to share that with someone even if she did fall fast asleep.

She got off his lap and went to the wardrobe grabbing two things she disappeared into the bathroom. Changing quickly she hung up her dress to change into later if they left and she came out. Wearing a pair of soft red silk pajamma bottoms and a tight tank to that hugged her body like skin she smiled.

"Ready to lay down?" she asked as she turned down the bed so he could get in first.
