"If you're so much better than us, find out. It just might be an undead scorching enchantment, if you're unlucky." Roy was really getting tired of the insults and thinly veied threats. He usually diddn't pop off like that, but under the current circumstances, he was getting pretty tired in general.
"Listen, you pompous assbag, that sword is one of a kind. You're lucky I'm giving it to you at all. In fact, you shouldn't be so proud of yourself, when your eating habits resemble that of a swarm of MOSQUITOES!"
Yeah, Roy was a little pissed, to say the least. He wasn't even done yet, either. As he stopped to catch his breath, Esiuhoieufe let out a small gasp, and decided to hide behind Tech instead.
"So, you bloodsucking, angst ridden freak, if you think I'm going to let you insult us any more, then just take the damn sword, and get the FUCK OUT!"

"And to hear that come from a guy scared of water" Tech let out a small sigh over the vampire's arrogance. He knew that provocing a vampire could have dire consequences, but also kne that he stood a fair shot, unless the bloodsucker had somewhow managed to screw up his analytic eye. He had fought vampires before, but they were weak, hotblooded and young, always overconfident of their skill. His anti-magic blades had ended their unlives quickly, but this one was different, older, more powerfull and, somehow, had a different setup.
Mech decided to lighten everyones mood, and extended his meatllic hand, the one based on the human hand and began prodding Esiuhoieufe, going for the ticklish spots. He would quickly fly out of her reach whenever she tried to poke him back, dodging some and taking a few. He hoped it would lighten the mood

Although Mech most likely diddn't know what an Elemental's ticklish spots were, if they were any different from a human's, Esiuhoieufe seemed to be having some fun. They poked at eachother, and floated throughout the room.
Roy, however, continued his tirade on vampires, with a small flame starting to engulf his left hand. Ayschoine floated a few inches off the floor, and situated herself slightly behind Roy. This was a situation she enjoyed, to say the least.
"I'm going to ignore you now, Vrac. Get out. If you fight me, I won't hold back. I happen to know how easily the Undead burn." He said, closing his hand into a fist, and snuffing the flame. It hurt him slightly, but he diddn't show it. His hand would continue to smake for around half the night. He had poured it on pretty thick.
He turned to Esiuhoieufe and Ayschoine, and said "It's nice to meet the two of you, and I'm honered that you accept my pact. My name is Roy Atenwood, and I'll do my best to fulfill what you have asked of me."
He turned back toward the vampire. This undead freak was beggining to be a pain in the ass. "Are you still here? I said to LEAVE!"

"Heh, I doubt you would be much of a challenge for me. But as you've given this to me it would be out of manners for me to fight you. So I will do as you wish and leave for now. See you later."
Vrac turned and left the dormitory, heading back to his coffin in the lower academy. He was eager to try out the new rapier but he'd have to wait for a better opportunity. Maybe he should head for the training grounds later.

Tech thought of throwing a smart comment as the vampire left, but decided it wouldn't be worth the neural activity. He had let wristblades slide out at the sign of combat, and let them slide slowly back, the metallic ´clink´ of them falling into place feeling reassuring.
"Next time, we take him down, right?" He asked Roy, ignoring Mech's little game with one of the elementals. Tech had suffered damage to his artificial brain in the early part of his time as a self-taught technomancer, some of his files lost in an electrical override. He wanted to fill the gap, and the study of a vampire could reveal some of the knowledge he wanted

"Well........you're not TOO hopeless, then." Ayschoine said with a sigh. She walked over to Roy's bed, and sat dow on it. She decided it was confotable enough, and finaly laid down. Even elementals got tired, after all.
"Yay! This is fun!" Esiuhoieufe cried out, as she tried to poke Mech, who floated slightly out of reach. She was enjoying herself, and Roy liked that.
Vrac was gone, so Roy was considerably happier. "The arrogant fool. He really believes we aren't threats." Roy laughed. He had studied te undead, vampires included, and knew that they burned VERY easily.
He walked to the freezer, and put away the ice cream he was holding, as it had melted when he had torched his palm. He was tired, as well.He noticed a faint form shimmering above his bed, and realized that Ayschoine must have fallen asleep. She also was in the form of her element, which fascinated Roy, but he diddn't want to get any closer than he had to. She scared him, slightly.
"Well, at the vary least......that was an interestin experiance. Sorry about all that, Tech."

" 'Bout what?" Tech responded, having forgotten alla bout his shirt. His other blade slided back with a metallic ´clank´, rendering the hand operable again. He went to check on his machinery, hoping that the crude isolation had been sufficient. Most was undamaged he found, and that which was damaged was replaceable. "So, how about ome of that icecream?" He asked smiling at poking game the two familiars were playing

"About Vrac. Thought he would be useful to have around if I accidentaly opened a gate to hell, or something." What Roy said was true, he had thought so. He was wrong. "I'm gonna get that asshole back." Roy said, and laughed. Vampires burned. That was all he needed to know about them, and all that mattered. One day soon, he would show that arrogant fool what he could do, and Vrac would fear him.
"Yeah.....ice cream." Roy said, and got out a small tub of Rocky Road, and a spoon. He handed them to Tech, and leaned against the wall, exausted. He hadn't noticed how much energy the summoning had taken. He looked over at the large box of instant ramen in the corner of his room, sighed, and walked over to it. It was completely undamaged, which was good.
Unfortunately, all of his microwave was ruined. Why did fate work like this for Roy? Who knew. "Damnit...........I'll need to go into the city to get a new one....heh...hehhehahahaHA!" He burst into hysteric laughter, as he slumped against the wall. He was hit with a pillow shortly after.
"Shut up! I'm trying to sleep!" Ayschoine said, as she turned into Hydrogen gas once more.

"Some ice cream'll do you good, sugar is made to glucose, which in turn is made into energy. Mech!" He raised his voice, calling the necrid familiar to his attantion. "Fetch us some hot chocolate or some coffee, in that order." He watched as Mech hovered out of the room and the elemental followed after him.
When Roy began laughing Tech took a few steps back amd let his claws slide out, not knowing what this was. He got his explanation with the other elemental's angry comment. "Interesting" he muttered, before draggin Roy away from the sleepy elemental. "I'd like to study them some, in the future" He said, hoping it got through to Roy. "Of course I'd like to have your and" He looked back at the cloud of hydrogen gas, smiling at the comic absurdity of it all "and, not least, their permission first. I wouldn't want take any risks in that area" He grinned

"As long as you get thier permission. If it's ok with them, I don't see why not." Roy said. He diddn't feel like eating ice cream, and he felt more like sleeping, but his bed was being used by an elemental. She wasn't in solid form, but he knew she'd be mad if he tried to lay down "Through" her. He diddn't feel right bugging her, anyway. He had pulled them away from thier home realm, and she deserved to rest. He got up, and started to clean things up.
He looked behind him, and saw Esiuhoieufe staring at his hair. It was kind of funny, how childlike she was, but he knew she wasn't really childlike, and merely amazed at this new, solid, world. He hadn't meant to read her thoughts, but they were pretty strong at the moment. Mostly what he heard was "Oh! What's this!
"Hmmm? It's my ponytail, Esiuhoieufe. It's my hair." Roy said, unaware that he had heard her thoughts. He was too tired to catch himself, either.
"How did you know I was thinking that?" Esiuhoieufe said, in awe. "I diddn't say it out loud! How'd you hear it? C'mon, tell me!" She said.
"Oh crap......." Roy said, in a defeated tone of voice. Now he had to explain something. Just great, along with the fact that she had started to tug on his hair, things were getting a bit strange.

"Uhhm" Tech remembered all too well the reaction Roy had gotten last time he had read someones mind. Although he doubted that the familiar would be as sadisitc, he decided to try and pull Roy off the hook. "Let's see if your gear was undamaged and if I can repair any of it, shall we?" He pulled Roy out of Esiuhoieufe's reach and towards the microwave oven he had noticed him look at earlier. "You gotta get that under control" He whispered, hoping that the oxygen elemental didn't hear. "You are gonna get into some serious shit if you don't" He pulled down the microwave and tried to activate it. He felt his energy go in, but the only response was a fizzing sound, caused by overheated water.
"I'll have this fixed by tommorrow" He said, automatically assuming of a repair man. "You just stop by if anything else is out of order" Mech hovered back into the room, holding two cops of steaming hot chocolate in his hand. "Nice, Mech" Tech said with a wide smile. He gave one of the cups to Roy and took a deep sip of his own. "You want some?" He asked Esiuhoieufe. hoping to gain her trust by playing on her curiosity.

"Thanks....." Roy said, as he slowly drank the hot chocolate Tech had given him. Or rather, Mech. He was a little too tired to try to remember which."Actually, I think they need to know, now, so that I don't freak them out. Well, any more than I already do."
Roy let out a sigh, and then he started to explain. "It's just something that happens, I read thoughts. I don't know how, or why, and I can't control it." He let out another sigh, because he knew what Ayschoine would do to him next. It was a pact as good as broken, because astral projection involved mental powers. Powers Roy couldn't control.
Ayschoine solidified for a moment, and looked at him. She spoke, after a moment, and said "Why do you sound so negative? It's not like it's going to interfere with the pact. I've been summoned once or twice, and you're not half as weird as the other two mages who summoned me. I was summoned by...well....how can I put this?" She seemed to shudder lightly as she thought of her previous master. "He was a dark mage. Not the kind you would think of, though."
Roy started to wonder what other kind there was, when she resumed her explanation.
"He made shadow puppets. He turned lights off, he made coffe. Always black." She shuddered again, and as she started to turn into Hydrogen gas again, she said "You're not too bad. Nowhere near the mage who summoned and bound himself. Daily. As long as you try to stay out of my head, we'll get along fine. Oh, and I'm stealing your bed."
Roy laughed at this, and continued to drink the hot chocolate. It was helping him out a bit, and he was grateful. He turned to Esiuhoieufe, who was still pondering Tech's question, and said "Go ahead and try it, Esiuhoieufe. Here, just a second."
Roy walked over to a duffalbag he had in the corner of the room, and took out a small cup. He was suprised that the bag was dry, but diddn't want to think about how it stayed dry. He diddn't want to break his brain. He poured about half of his cup into the cup from the bag, and walked over to Esiuhoieufe. He handed it to her with a small smile.
As she took a drink, a look of horror spread across her face. "Eyaaaah! Unclean! Impurity!" She screamed, as she spat the hot liquid out. She suddenly seemed to dissolve, and more liquid splattered on the floor.
Roy, with a shocked look on his face, said "Oh god! I'm sorry! I had no idea!" This couldn't be good. Where did she go? Did he kill her? Several posibilities ran through his mind, none of them good.
Suddenly, she reappeared, right in front of him, looking slightly miffed. "How can you drink that? Doesn't it interfere with your chemical structure?" She gave a dirty look to Tech, and walked toward him. "Is this stuff hurting him? He looks hurt! You're hurting Roy!"
Roy was shocked. His eyes were wide, and he leaned against the wall again, with his right hand pinching the bridge of his nose, trying to regain his composure. He diddn't even notice Esiuhoieufe going to his defense, so he couldn't tell her that Tech was actually helping him.
Needless to say, Tech was going to have to explain the science behind humans eating and drinking without disrupting thier chemical structures. Roy diddn't exactly know, and he was much too tired to explain anything else.

Taec was in a siruation that could turn rather messy. True, he wanted to experience and test the abilities, strengths and limits of these two elementals, but his plans didn't have him being the guineapig. "Nooo nononono" He tried defending. stepping backwards and holding his arms in front of him. Cool it, He thought, the logical part of his brain shifting to next gear, She's attacking you out of ignorance, an ignorance that you can relieve. If Roy backs up your explanation, she will not hurt you. "Human biology is much more complex than yours" He began, hoping that she would listen. "Two thirds of the human, " he looked brielfy at Roy, and then back at the angry elemental. "Of the mortal body consists of water, but the rest is mainly various forms of earth. One of the effects of this is that when we consume something..... impure, it becomes part of our system temporarely. Then it, errh, exits the system, and it does no harm during this process what so ever"
He was beginning to sweat, not wanting to feel the power of an oxygen elemental on what flesh he had left. Oxygen? Tech lightened up, a confident smile showing on his face. He had been able to defeat the being all along. What the heck? The thought worked like an alarm bell, arounsing him from what could easily have ended in murder, or what ever it would be called. The laser scalpel folded itself bac into his right arm. "Look, bottom line is," He said, his confidence regained. "It's not hurting him, in fact, I think it's doing him good. Right Roy?" Tech turned and saw exactly why the oxygen elemental thought he was harming him, he didn't look too good. "You aigh't Roy?" He asked, stepping closer in case he would be needed

"It's nothing. I'm fine. It's helping me, Esiuhoieufe." Roy said with a laugh, wondering why Tech had such a cocky looking grin a moment ago. An Oxygen Elemental could have the power to suck the oxygen out of your lungs, for all they knew. But regardless of what she could do, he had to get her off of Tech's case.
"Regardless of my imortality, Tech explained it pretty well. I'm not sure if more complex is the right way to say it, more like we're just different." Roy said, still leaning against the wall. He really had no idea how an elemental's body worked, other than the fact that "Immature" elementals had no gender. Immature elementals were like parts of a greater elemental, and each one fused with another elemental, so that thtey becane the mainstream elementals, such as the water elemental Roy had wanted to summon.
"I'm only tired. The summoning took a lot out of me." He smiled, and knew that he looked as tired as he felt, if they were worried about him. He diddn't really know how to explain it, but projecting the flame onto his hand earlier had...drained him. He had used too much mana.
"I really don't know how to explain it, but I'm tipped over. Completely drained. I've used too much mana. I'll be unable to cast spells for a while, and I'll feel a little bit dizzy, but other than that, I'll be fine."

Tech felt ashamed. What had he been thinking? He had been inches away from using his laser scalpel in the oxygen elemental, most like setting it aflame, ruining several dyas of hard work, not to mention the possibility of erasing ´her´ from existence. "I guess I'll be leaving now" He said, walking over to pick up the microwave oven. "You can stay and play if you want, I'll be heading back to the apartment." "Affirmed" Mech said, his artificial voice sounding like the computer controlling a spaceship in so many science fiction movies. He would stay and play a bit, to see if he could lighten the gloom that had decended in the room. "See ya Roy" Tech said as he walked out the door
