Jyo walked through the city with a casual grace and long stride. His sword hung from his coat in it's sheat at the small of his back as usual. He left the glock today as he wasn't out for a fight. The sword was more for the fact he carried like some form of badge. His long whit coat flapped back every so often with the wind as he wlked. A nice warm breeze was out and he had tied his long hair back today to keep it from being blown around.
He checked out several shops but he was just browsing today. He did make mental notes to go back to some of the sjops as they did have things he was interested in. He made his way through a busy street fair being held and met a few friends but only exchanged hellos with them
He soon was in a less populated area. A place nice for a good calm walk. He rounded a corner as a loud crack caught his attention. He looked the wrong way and crashed into someone. he got up quickly. "Sorry. My bad." He said leaning over a bit and holding out his hand to help the person he knocked down back up

Ziare was walking down the street smiling slightly. She was loving her life currently. She had just tranfered to a new school that would develop her magical talent and things couldn't be better. She was a bit nervous because she had yet to meet any friends but she knew it would happen sooner or later at least she hoped. She was paying attention to a cute couple across the street. They were walking hand in hand and their love was evident in thier eyes. She wished she had someone like that she was not paying attention to where she was going yet was still walking forward. She bumped right into someone hard and she fell back on the cold concrete sidewalk her long blonde hair splayed out beneath her. "Sorry, My bad." a male voice said. Ziare looked up and a boy about her age with long blonde hair was holding his hand out to her. She took in gracefully letting him help her up.
"Thank you." she said and straightened her clothing and her hair. She looked at the boy and was embarrassed she had totally not been paying attention. "No really it was my fault I wasn't watching where I was going. Hi, it's nice to meet you I'm Ziare."

"Well Then I guess we both get to share the blame." He said helping the girl to her feet. She stood about fou inches shorter then himself. So she was tall for a girl. Her hair was even lighter a blond than his own and in contrast to his deep green eyes hers were an icy blue color..
She also was thin suggesting it was likely she went to the academy for the actual build was common for a magic user. Even himself who had trained in combat was rather thin. He guessed she was a couple of years younger than himself and she had a pleasent demeanor about her that made it easy to want to know her.
"So your name is Ziare. It's pretty. Unique as well. At least to these ears." he said giveing a bow and keeping hold on her hand to plant a kiss on the back of it. His father had taken years to tech Jyo how to behave in a more courtly fashion. He stood back up and released Ziare's hand. "It is a pleasure to meet you even under the curcumstances." He said.

Ziare was taken back when he bowed and planted the sweetest lightest kiss on the back of her hand. She had never had anything like this happen to her before. "Yes, I suppose my name is unusual but I'm partial to it." she said with a slight giggle. She looked into his green eyes so different from her own light blue. He dropped her hand and it immediatley felt cold she took her left hand and held it with her right trying to preserve the warmth. "I don't believe you have told me your name." she said with a warm smile.

He nodded and smiled. It wasn't aything major just a friendly guesture. "Quite right I havn't. My name is Jyo. I'm a stusent p at te academy. And I must say it looks like you might be as well. New transfere perhapes?" He asked taking a guess at what she had going on for her here. It was a safe bet as many people in the city were at the academy for classes.

Ziare thought he seemed quite nice.
"Yes you're quite right I am going to the academy. I just transfered my first day is tomorrow." she said warmly. "It's a bit chilly shall we go sit somewhere preferably inside?" she asked hopefully.

"Sure. i know a couplde of nearby places. In fact if you want a bite to eat I know a place I'll treat you to as way of welcome to the Academy." He said smiling and offered her an am as a guide.
"So you are just transferring to the Acadmey. Are you also new to the city as well?" He asked.

"I would like something to eat actually." Ziare said taking his offered arm. She had never had such a chivalrous act done to her these only happened in movies.
"Yes I'm new to the city. I'm from England a little village outside of London." she said as they walked. "How long have you lived here?"

Jyo started leading them through the city to a nice place to eat. "My father took me to London once when I was little. I think I was about five. I don't remember much. But I do know it was nice. We were out in the country-side." He said as the walked.
They rounded a corner and Jyo was now leading them through a slightly more poulated area. "As for how long I've been here. I have lived at the Acadmey with my father my whole life not counting trips away from here. He's one of the mages there." He said.

"Wow, he's a mage there?" Ziare was truly impressed. She had assumed everyone like her had transfered in. "That's amazing."
She took in the sites of the city as they walked letting Jyo lead her as he would. She didn't feel that he had any ill will toward her and plus they were in a populated area.
"What kind of magic are you studying?" she asked pulling closer into Jyo because despite her sweater it was cold.

"I am mostly attuned to Fire and Lighting Magic. I have another type but it's a bit interesting to explain. I'll show yu a demonstration a bit later mabey." He said noticing her getting closer. "You cold?" Well not a problem we're here anyways." He said opening the door and on the side so Zire could walk in first.
"I also know the basics of most magic. But of course I still have much to learn. I also train with a sword to keep in shape." He said and led them to a table pulling his arm away gently to get it free and then pulled out a chair for her to sit in. Once she was seated he pushed in her chair and walked arouns taking a seat himself and they waite for a wait to arrive.
It was a nice place. Fancy to an extent but not in a snobbich way. Just well cleaned and comfortable seats with good food and sercive. A nice way to ease into the city. "Wha about yourself. What magic are you best attuned with

A girl could get used to such kind acts from men. Jyo seemed to have a neverending stream of chivalry. She took her seat and then began to explain.
"Well I am an elemental summoner so I've been told. I can summon two summonables and I can use a vast array of elements. They are still weak but with practice and training I think that I can make them stronger." she said. She was always excited to talk about her magic and here was a fellow magic user and he understood. It was a relief to be able to talk about it so freely.
The waitress came over and she ordered some chicken pasta dish and a iced tea.
"What can I get you, sir?" the waitress asked kindly turning to Jyo.

"Interesting. I don't think I've met many apprentices that summon. That's a powerful talent to work on. I don't think my own strengths lie there. But thats a power worth keeping an eye on as it develops." He said.
The waitress came over and got Ziare's order then asked Jyo what he wanted. He ordered a plate of ravioli in pasta and three cheese topping. He also ordered a large glass of iced milk.
"Well As I mentioned my father is at the Acadmey. Do you have any magic in your family. Or are you the first in a while?" He asked.

"No, I'm afraid I'm the first." she said with a slight smirk. "I'm not sure why but as far back as anyone can remember my family have been simple farming folk." she told him.
She looked out the window and thought about her family. This conversation was bringing about old thoughts she had long since burried deep. She had always felt as though she was different her sisters and brothers looked different they all had brown hair and green eyes and here was Ziare blue and blonde. But they had loved her, there never was a time she didn't feel she fit in.
"I've often wondered if I was actually born to my family. Perhaps that is why I have magical talent. I'm not sure." she said returning her attention back to Jyo. "Anyone besides your father magical? Do you have any siblings?" she asked.

"I'm sure you are. Every family will have someone who is not quite like the rest. Take my uncle for example. He had no powers while my dad while not phenominal had talent when he was young." Jyo said. He then shook his head no.
"Just me I'm an only child. Makes things a bit simpler. Not lonely though. At least where I live there were several people and I knew alot of others with magic talents. I should assume it was different for you though. I wonde. Was your family excited about your powers. I mean its an incredible thing having such gifts and being the first in the family with them." He said wondering what her backround was lie as they had led very different lives it seemed.
