Ziare thought about his question...
"My family was very close knit. I have five brothers and two sisters. Were they exicted...yes and no. Some were especially my little brother and sister they loved my summon Armenius. Though they can't touch him like I can because they got burned they loved playing with him. I guess that's not really proper use for a summon but he didn't seem to mind." she explained. "But the older ones, they tended to be afraid of me or not metion it at all. To be honest I think they were relieved when the school offered me a place. Though I have to admit I was too because I can hone my abilities and make new friends ones that understand me. Ones like you." she said looking up from the hole she was staring into the table.

"Sounds like the older ones were a bit envious. But at least they didn't make you fell diliked right?" he said knowing it could be though being something not everyone could be even if they worked for it. But now since magic useres had a place to go and meet others like them it was easier. Jyo had read the history of spellcastiong and the purgins were terrible things indeed.
"Well you ae now somewhere wre you're sure to get support and also learn alot. You're also right. Many people here will understand what it's like. Duing my times in the outside world I noticed such averson and so forth. At least people have become more accepting these days.
The food arrived. "May I get you anything else?" Asked the waitress. "I'm fine for now. How about you Ziare?" Jyo asked.

"No I'm fine thank you." she told the waitress and watched her nod and leave.
She cut up her pasta as she had always done very non elegant but it meant no slurping she hated slurping. Pet Peeve she guessed. She began to eat taking small bites trying to remember all the table manners her mother had instilled in her as a child growing up.
"Well tell me what do you do in your spare time?" she asked bring a light hearted cheer back into their conversation. She took a sip of tea and realized it needed sugar.

Jyo started eating and showed he had been to many places where fine eating was needed. But he also was being more relaxed here. He was being a gentelman. Not trying to show off.
He used knife and fork taking bits out of the food and eating at a casual pace. "Well I tend to read and listen to music. I am highly into danceing and every so often I'll just head out for a walk or something. I also train with magic and my sword." he said between the times he chewed and swallod. And when he was cuting away some food. "I'll do alot of other stuff as well. but those are the main things I do. How about yourself?" he asked glad to be getting to know someone new.

Swallowing her mouthful of the wonderful pasta she answered.
"Well mostly I read and practice magic. I love books all they places you can go and visit the adventures you can go on. I love music I've never been dancing but I would love to try one day." she began. "I play with Armenius when I'm lonely or bored but other than that you'll probably find me with a nose in my book unless I'm hanging out with someone. I have to admit I've never really had any friends so I'm not sure how that all works." she told him admitedly and blushed having revealed something that had always embarressed her slightly.

He noticed her bluch. To be honest for a girl who had come from a farm she didn't do it often. Ziare adapted well to new places. he thought it must have been rough to not have many friends besides a summon. But she seemed to cope with it well. He had a lot of respect for that.
"Well things are liekly to be easier here. I'm sure you'll have no trouble making friends. I can already tell you are a good person and very nice. I know I want to now you better and spend time with yu more already. And though I'm not anti-socail I'm not really someone who goes around to be around people." he said as they ate.

Ziare's eyebrows rose when she heard Jyo say he wanted to spend more time with her and wanted to get to know her better. She blushed again, it was strange to be complemented.
"I have really enjoyed your company as well Jyo. I'd like it if we spent more time together." she said smiling shyly trying to look him in the eyes but failing miserably. "Lucky we bumped into each other." she said with a smile.
She had been lucky it was her fist day in the city and she had already made a friend. That's what he was right? she asked herself. She supposed she would figure it out in time to come.
"The food is wonderful here. I can help pay it doesn't seem fair for you got pick up the whole bill." she said obviously never having gone on a date either. Most country weddings were arranged or people met by strange fate.

Jyo chuckled about the bumped into each other comment. "Yes we did. Quite literally." he said noticed she had tried to llok him in the eyes. Jyo himself had kept his own eye locked on her But he did that with virtually everyone. Thats how he got to seeing them a bit more.
"Don't worry about paying. As I said when I invited you. It's me treat here. I'll even show yo around a bit. Even if this was an imposition on me which it most cetainly is not. I wouln't mind as it is." He said assuring Ziare it was not a problem.

Ziare smiled warmly and nodded not sure what to say. She finished eating her pasta leaving enough to be polite it was proper for ladies to not finish all the food or so she was told. Placing her silver ware in a cross pattern on the plate as again was proper she sat back and looked at Jyo.
"Where will we go?" she asked curious. She had just been out walking looking around she honestly didn't know anything about this city. "And thank you for lunch."

Jyo finished his meal and then he placed his sliverware on his plate as well. He stood up and left the proper payment on the table. "Well I guess I could just show you the basic sights. Actually explain what things are and you won't get lost with me. Then I can also show you around the Academy later. It's up to you. I'll just be a good host and answer anything I can." He said.
He got up and pulled Ziare's chair out for her a bi and held out is hand to help her up.

Blushing again for some strange reason Ziare took Jyo's hand and stood up. She wasn't sure if this was what friends did with each other or if this was more than friends. But it was wonderful to be treated so sweetly. She hung onto his hand reluctant to let go for an unknown reason.
"I'd like that very much." she said staring into the depths of his luscious green eyes. "You are too kind."

Jyo smiled finally being able to lock eyes with Ziare for a second or two. Hers were that interesting ice-blue that could have been the eyes of a cruel person but was given to someone who was kinder than most people he had met.
"Really. I never thought so. Of course I was raised in a very courtly manner. Also even though we just met I already know I like you alot. Just one of those things that happens. Not that I am complaining in the least. He gave another smil offering his right arm again. Shall we?" He asked

Ziare broke her stare when Jyo offered his arm. She looked down and carefully looped her arm through his. She kept close to him warding off the cold weather to come. He had said he liked her alot..what did that mean? she asked herself as they began to walk towards the door.
"I already know I like you a lot as well." she said and smiled giving his arm a gentle squeeze and leaning her head on his shoulder briefly like a half hug. "Come show me the city!"

"Well off into the city. I notice you're clod. Let go for just a second." he said smiling and removed his long white coat. He had on a grey jacket undet the coat that would keep him wamr. He put the coat over Ziare's shoulder's. and held out his arm again. "There that should keep you warmer. The sword is ligh so it should be a bother in terms o whieght." He said. Once they were ready again he led them out side.
They walked where Ziare wanted to go. When she would ask something about a place or thing he would have an answer for it. Mabey not always detailed. but enough to make sure Ziare wasn't confused.

Ziare smiled and blushed again (yes again) when he put his warm jacket on her shoulders. She hoped he wouldn't be cold in it's absence but she loved the feeling of it. And he was right had he not said anything she would never had known there was a sword underneath.
As they walked down the city streets Ziare would point out things and Jyo was always nice enough to answer her. He would tell her enough so she would get the basic knowledge of the place she was intrigued about.
"It's beautiful here." Ziare said sticking close to Jyo. "I mean the country side is gorgeous but the city has it's own unique beauty don't you think?" she asked Jyo looking up at him.
