Ziare looked even more stunning than normal. "I don't fell as though this is a dream. But of course I wouldn't want it to be. You are once more somehow even more lovely then every. ANd this is so wonderful. I'd rather have it be real like it is rather than a dream wouldn't you?' He said as he twirled her and theyy faced each other again and resumed the dance. Most people there had cleared away for them.

Ziare smiled as Jyo led her through the dance. She was not paying attention to anyone or even where they were going. She was lost in Jyo. She blushed at his comments but felt as though she was on top of the world.
"You're right. I want it to be real. I know it already is but you are right real is much better than a dream."
She gave his hand a gentle squeeze and smiled brightly. She couldn't have been happier.
"I'm so lucky to have met you Jyo. So lucky that you love me and so happy to be with you." she said as they continued waltzing to the music.

"Well it goes both ways." he said as they brought the waltz to a much more classic calm set of steps for a while. "I'm not sure if it's luck though. After all this time with you and everything that's happened. I'm reconsidering my views on fate. It doesn't seem as far-fetched anymore." he said with a smile.

Talbot suddenly wished she didn't know how to read lips, all the mushy stuff was a bit unerving- but then again she could not hide her smile at the two love birds. Which reminded her she had made a few things for them, but those could wait- she had left them behind in her room anyways. She hoped Mikon hadn't killed Zula- Mikon still adjusting to being a big brother and all, the two elemental mice had been prone to fighting- nothing dangerous but Zula was still a baby afterall.
She blushed at the words of the love birds, her crimped hair bouncing only slightly as she shook her head pulling her mind back to where she was rather than thinking about what she may go back to when the night was done. She looked around unsure of what to do- suddenly realizing she could not dance and desperatly hoping Joseph wouldn't want to- she was entranced however by her little sister, Jyo, and their heartfelt dance.

Joseph had been slightly embarrased that he'd been brushed off so quickly by the golden haired battle-mage. Though the feeling subsided quickly. The guy just wanted to have a romantic moment with his girl. Who wouldn't want that? Glancing down at his date the gunmage smiled as he discovered her following the couple intently. This revelation brought a smile to his face. So love wasn't an emotion completely lost to her. Joseph had originally assumed that her past was so torubled he'd have to help her discover it. Now, he knew that he only had to awaken it.
Still, Talbot didn't seem like the dancing type, at least not yet, so he decided against asking her to step out onto the floor with him. Besides, though his revolver was also partial to this girl (the emblem on his back was so pleasently warm), it would not enjoy being so close to all the other dancers. Instead Joseph looked around for something else they could do. His eyes fell upon several open doorways that led out to balconies overlooking a beautiful garden. It looked to him to be a stereotypical starlight balcony, but he mentally shrugged off the thought. It would work regardless.
Joseph gave the girl a light tug on her arm. When her gaze fell upon him he smiled and nodded in the direction of the balcony. "It's a little crowded in here. How about we go enjoy the stars for a bit?"

The lights gently faded out as did the music all around the great hall. Nary a sound, not even the breathing of the guests could be heard, so quiet was it in the room.
The lights came back on and a person[i/], was standing in the middle of the where the two staircases met.
"I thank you all for coming here. So rarely do I get a chance to share my life's work with my peers, and to just have a little bit of relaxation, so please, feel free to take a look around at them."
He walked down the staircase, dressed in black silk pants that subtly shimmered almosty slightly. The shirt he wore was of the same material, only it was white. He also had a tie underneath and a belt of silver and black threads cunningly interwoven as to not be able to tell which color it truly was.
On the back of his vest, he had cunningly taken his birthmark and made it a motif. Subtly interwoven into it, was the Sun in gold threads, and the Moon in silver, with Oeberus, the Eternal Snake, in emerald.
He wasn't wearing any glasses and his hair was neatly cropped and cut.
He walked into a semi-private room and sent for two of his few servants and asked them to do something for him. The servants nodded, and walked off to carry out his wishes.
Two different servants walked up to the pairs of Jyo and Ziare, Talbot, and Joseph, bowed and delivered the message. "The master would like to see you. This way, please."

It was so hard to take her mind off the dancers, to take her eyes away from the love the two generated- and expressed, but when Joseph tugged on her arm she paid attention. She wasn't a neglectful person and certainly had not forgotten who she was here with, but it was still so hard to take her eyes away from the emotion the two love birds expressed that she was unfamiliar with.
"It's a little crowded in here. How about we go enjoy the stars for a bit?"
Talbot smiled at him, it was crowded with people and busy- she glanced back at the love birds for a long moment and finally back to Joseph, she smiled- instantly thinking of a comment that would either make him blush or scorn her for the evening. but instead of delivering the small ego blow she answered, "Sure. Why not?"
But then came the messenger sent by the person though she hadn't been paying complete attention in truth to the words said- again she had been distracted by a few blonde strands on Joseph's clothing- wonderful she was shedding worse than Mikon is early spring. She tugged Joseph's sleeve gently, "Looks like we follow."

Joseph smiled and gave a nod. Yet inwardly he growled. Damn. Whoever their host was he sure had some lousy timing. Right when her thoughts were occupied with love. UGH! Still, not revealing any of the sour emotions on his face, the couple followed the servant towards his master. "Well, I was just going to lavish you with sweet words as we stood there anyway. I suppose that could wait a little longer." he whispered to the girl next to him as they walk. True, regardless of the outcome Joseph had intended to use this night to sweep Talbot off her feet or at least make progress towards the time when he could do that.

The music ended and the lights went out. Jyo and Ziare stopped dancing. Ziare listened to the visitor who she knew to be Eldran just he wasn't wearing his glasses and had cleaned up quite nicely.
He spoke and left one of the servants came to Ziare and Jyo telling them that the "master" wanted to see them. Ziare quirked her eyebrow and looked up at Jyo.
"Guess we'll have to pick this back up later." she said hooking her arm through his own.

Jyo nodded and smiled as Ziare hooked her arm around his. The two of them walked up to the host of this event and he stopped seeing who it was. "Hello Eldran. How are you this evening?" He asked.

Eldran nodded at the servants and instructed them to bring any more from 'that' list that came to the party, here, and they discreetly faded into the background after leaving drinks and snacks on the tables in front of them.
"Please, have a seat."
Eldran himself sat down in a rather large, yet simple chair. It was elegant, yes, but not overtly reeking of money or luxury at all.
He grinned and smiled at Ziare. "I'm doing fine this evening actually. I did say I got lonely in such a large house and that's why I'd like to have friends over more often."
He turned to Jyo and grinned. "Thanks for the save the other day."
He almost laughed and grinned inwardly, but his eyes glittered in a private joke. "I see you're at least friendly to some males."

Talbot pulled Joesph with ease- he seeming to be busy mulling over one thing or another, wierd that he kept looking a Jyo. Maybe Joseph was like Marshall- she quietly hoped not, she enjoyed Joseph's company and while Pretty Boy was entertaining and safe, well you know how it is sometimes. He was a pretty good guy and- she shook her head, silly thoughts belong to silly girls!
Stopping she beamed a bright smile at Eldran, realizing who he was after a long look, "Well hit me with a orange! Eldran, you look wonderful."

Jospeh listened as the two females greeted their host. "Eldran? I don't believe we met. I'm Joseph Midnight." he said offering his hand to the man. The gunmage had finally stopped worrying about his ruined moment, there would be others. Instead, now he began to wonder why his host had invited them to meet with him privately. After shaking his hand, Joseph pulled out a seat for his date then sat down next to her. He could help but sneak a glance at her. Damn, but she was beautiful...

Ziare sat down and made room for Jyo to sit next to her. Though she sat on the edge of the couch so she wouldn't wrinkle her dress.
"Eldran, it's true you look quite nice this evening. What a splendid home you have. And a truly lovely dance I must say."
Ziare grabbed Jyo's hand lightly laying hers on top of his gently.

Jyo sat with Ziare and looked over at Joseph. "Sorry for brushing you off. I was... Predisposed in another task so to say." he said with a grin. He looked back to thier host. "So why are we here this fine evening. I'm already having fun but I have not heard why this occasion is taking place" He said.
