Well...Kat was at a total loss. If it wasn't enough that this entire place was just plain weird... the outter area was weird as well. Her eyes kept darting back and forth, nervous hands smoothing out the black cargo shorts she was wearing. They came to her knees, and had chains on the side. Her shoes were simple, flat, regular black converse. Her shirt was a plain white t-shirt with the simple black wording that said "Bite me." Frankly, Kat...was lost. A little more than lost. She was also quiet...scared of almost everything that moved at this point. What the hell was she doing here again? The pale girl retreated to a quiet alleyway. It was dark, didn't seem spooky...so why the hell not? It was peaceful almost, compared to everything else that was going on around her! She leaned agaisnt a wall, the slid down to the ground in a sitting position. Ah, perfect. The pale girl closed her eyes and sighed. Until she heard foot steps. Then she couldn't help but tense up!

Of course, what were the chances that he would be the one to find her, at that, to be roaming around the dark alley ways where everything lurked. Well, obviously they were good enough considering the fact that he was there, and of course, now he was walking right towards her. A few things considered. Christian had never been one to deny something that would happen.. and even though he was "nice" in a sense, he also had to him what one would call dangerous, destructive, and in some terms, perverted beyond reason.
"Hmm.. you know.. its dangerous for a girl to roam around the streets alone.. you do know that?"
He asked the question with his soothing voice, though, at the same time it seemed distanced as he looked her over, his right arm was covered in what looked like hardened red plastic, while the other was open fully. A white t-shirt hung against his chest.

Her eyes lifted...only to find one person there. He spoke, and his voice was gentle...but Kate had been raised never to trust some one right off the bat.
"...Possibly...I'm not really fimilar with the area."
She stood up, dusting off the back of her shorts. Dirt tended to collect when you sat on it! The pale girl studied the man before her, chewing on her bottom lip for a moment.
"Actualy... I'm afraid... I'm lost.... I can't find my way back to the school..."

"Is that so?.. hmm. Well. I am a teacher at Arcane. Is that your school?"
Well. Arcane was really the only "public" school on the island in the sky, but technicalities were not always what were to be taken as truth. In a sense. That was why he asked instead of just assuming, it also wouldnt have made sense to tell her where she was supposed to be.
"If you need help, I would be glad to help."
Though what was to say, he wouldnt just lead her somewhere else instead, take advantage of the situation? Oh. The fun of looking over mentalities.

A teacher! Alright, teachers were to be trusted!! Kate let a smile slip on her face, it even reached her blue eyes. What a relief! To run into a teacher of all people.
"That would be lovely. My name is Kate Cole."
She offered out her hand for a hand shake. What? She was American, they did that! Always did...at least, the normal ones. Right at this moment though, Kate was trusting the odd man in the alleyway. He could have been lying for all she knew...but nope, trusting him fully. What a blonde.

A smile came as she offered her hand out, his own moving and metting it with a slight shake. Though, at the same time, he turned his heel and waved for her to follow him. He was heading for the exit of the alleyway. That should have kept her trust quite easily, in that he wasnt leading her through the dark.
"Question though. Do you mind if we stop off at my work real quick? I was headed there to pick up some paper work for Dantet. "
He asked with a turn of his head back over his shoulder, looking at her for a moment, with his smile still on his lips.

This looks like a good spot for a find or two... thinks Torm happily as he starts into the alleyway. I absolutely need some parts, but all my money right now goes to rent for the storehouse, so it's the life of a scrounger for me.
Because the alley is situated between a blacksmith and an appliances store, it was possible that something useful had made its way here. Torm begins to slowly pace down the passage, his heavy boots crunching in the gravel. Torm picks up a few odd bits from the ground, placing gears and bits of re-useable metal into his pockets and tossing other items back onto the dirt.
Suddenly, his eyes fall on a pair of people already in the alley, and he gives a surprised start. Whoa, there's some people here...academy people? Maybe, from the looks of them. "Umm, is anything the matter?" Torm says hesitantly, not wanting to frighten anyone . Or provoke an attack... he thought grimly. He took no aggressive stance, but his trusty ladder was at his side, as always, and he knew that appearances could be deceiving. "This is kind of a gloomy place for a rendevous, wouldn't you say? If I'm interrupting, I'll leave you be..." He tucks a gauntleted hand in his coat pocket and puts on a cheerful smile.

Its seems people just showed up right after each other around here. Kate had stopped when she heard another voice, turning to look at the newest person. Another male. Who would have thought right?
"...Hi... There's nothing to interupt..." She smiled, a little more sweet than before. Why? The blonde was relaxed now...at ease so to speak, since the teacher was there. Teachers were to be trusted, remember?
Though the teacher...hadn't even given her his name. That was a little odd. Just a little bit though.

" Ah.. Kate. I am Christian. "
He looked over to the boy whom had just showed up and raised a brow, there were a few things he could do. Shut the boy up real quick and just take her on to his office building, or, try and act in a civil manner and just stick it out. A simple wave of his hand.
"Every thing is fine. Here, come along Kate, I need to get the paper work if I am going to teach my class today."
He said with his smile looking back over at her once more, his hands still hanging down off at his side in a relaxed manner.

He got the feeling that the boy thought he was intruding, whatever the girl said. No matter...he didn't want to cause delays or problems, and he certainly had no desire to start a fight with anyone at least six years younger than he for trivial reasons. Who knows.. he though. He might even be an Academy teacher. No need to be rude and cause problems for later. "Carry on then, kids. I'll just be about my business then." Paying them no more heed, he continues down the alley, scanning and collecting parts for his next creation.

"Alright...Mr.Christian..."
This place was weird. People coming and going, saying odd things. The silver blue eyes closed for a moment. This place.... well, it was odd. That was all Kate could think about.
Frown on her lips, she nodded to the teacher, begining to follow him if he took off. Sooner or later they'd end up at the school again....right? Maybe this time around she wouldn't get almost run down. It was...crazy out there. Not anything she was use to. Kate just wanted to go back to the quiet streets of home. Not that they'd let her come back now...

Hands finally settled back in his pockets as he walked through the turning door, moving into what looked like a big lobby, giving just a nod to the female at the front desk. A glance back to ensure that she was still following along side, though, now he was inside, this was considered a safe zone for him, and the fact that, if someone tried to enter.. well.. they would be torn down by armed guards, among the other members of Dantet, now wouldnt they?
"Hmm. Welcome to my humble abode as they would say.. me and a few friends started this business, and at this point we are just in a relaxed state."

Kate followed Christian, hands still shoved into her pockets. The silver blue eyes stuck to his back, not really looking any other way. The pale girl didn't really want to know what else was going on. There had been some really freaky things before... ugh. This place was just too weird!!!
They entered an odd builiding, and he spoke to her. A small smirk came to her lips. Humble abode? Well...whatever. Kate was sure there were places smaller...and more humble than this.
"That's cool."
What else could she say? What else was there to say? Lost physicaly...and mentaly. What a day this was shaping up to be!

"Here we are, my office. "
Opening the door to a smaller room, it looked to be almost like a living room save for the desk in the center of it. Waving a hand to the couch after she entered, he would have closed the door back and moved over to his desk, sitting down at it and opening up his drawers, hunting for said papers. Though, before they left, he would of course address her in a... different manner.
"Make yourself at home, I will only be a minute."
With that, his head was dipped back into piles of paper work, apparently dealing with more then the school due to the sheer volume of said papers alone.

That was a lot of papers. The one thing Kate hated...was a lot of homework. Endless hours toiling away with a pencil posed above a sheet of paper. Taking away from time that could be well spent doing other things. Like... hanging out with her friends! Except...now...all her friends were back home, and here she was. So much for being "Friends 4 EVAH!!!" They shouldn't have carved into that tree so long ago.
The pale girl plopped herself down on the couch, resisting the urge to prop her conversed feet up. Why? Well, it was rude!!! And being rude was...bad! Kate wouldn't be rude!
She instead closed her eyes and waited for him to finish whatever it was he was doing. Hopefuly, they'd get back to the school before her things were rumaged through.
