Mayon let out a great sigh as he hit the city of Babylos. Mayon had to go out and get some supplies to try out new alchemy tricks. But he also had to get some food because he was starved and his fridge was empty seeing as how he just arrived. The fact was that living in such a huge school is quite the burden all on its own. You can get lost easily and be late for class. It is just a pain. But after going through that all day and not having anything to eat just make s a person frustrated. Then having to leave the academy and head into the large city without a vehicle just sucks.
As Mayon walked into a random shop he noticed the fact that they had nothing he was looking for. Fireweeds and such were a little hard to find but he did have to keep looking. He wanted to work on his flame alchemy as much as the rest and fireweeds could really help. The shop owner looked over at Mayon and asked him if there was anything he would like to buy. Mayon didn’t see what he was looking for but he decided he would ask the owner anyway. When the owner didn’t have any of what Mayon was looking for except for groceries. Mayon bought some hauled himself back to the academy and then dragged himself back to Babylos to get back on the search.
Walking through the city Mayon an odd-looking man walk by and then to see a very angry women chasing after the man yelling at the top of her lungs.
“YOU LITTLE SNEAK! THINK YOU CAN CHEAT ON ME DO YOU! WELL I WILL SHOW YOU!”
Mayon couldn’t help but smile. He admitted that it served the man right if he was cheating on the women. But when he noticed a pearl necklace on the ground with the string torn and the pearls scattered he noticed that the women was running back. As she looked at the necklace in dismay Mayon assured her he could fix it. Mayon quickly took out a piece of chalk and drew a circle around the necklace he gathered up all the pearls and quickly put his hands over the necklace picturing it material forming back together. Then after a moment it was fixed and the women seemed pleased. She quickly lit her whole ARM ON FIRE!! Then began the chase on the man again. Mayon was shocked from the sudden burst of flame not realizes the women knew magic. He quickly scattered off.
When Mayon entered the next general store panting from the run he just took the owner of the shop asked Mayon if he was all right. When Mayon told the man he was fine and asked the man if he had what Mayon was looking for the man went into the back and came back with all the supplies. Mayon was a bit surprised that the man had all of these but he didn’t ask questions. He put the bags into his pockets and walked out. Of course he paid first.

Shea was out in the city buying a gift. Several gifts really. One a new collar for Bella. The magical shop said they had one that would expand when she did and that in her mind was most important that way Bella could have a collar that wouldn't fall apart when she transformed. Funny thing was her collar even matched her outfit today. She was wearing a light pink tshirt and light wash jeans. Her jewels as they always were. Ruby heart bracelet, emerald and sapphire studded earings, diamond necklace, and onyx earing.
She had gone into the store Bella at home in their dormitory for now as she bought the pink collar. She paid quickly and put the rhinestone studded collar in a bag and carried it out of the store. She had also stopped to pick up a new piece of music that she hoped Darian and her could learn to play as a duet.
She walked down the sidewalk flipping through the whole book of music sheets that was all one long song a duet for violins and she couldn't wait to start. It was here that her attention was and not where she was going as she ran smack dab into someone coming out of the general store. She looked up dropping her book as the collided.
"Oh no! Are you okay? I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was going." she looked up at the boy in front of her.

((OOC: Since you pinged me on the RPing thing I'm here.))
Darian had gone in town to look up the shops not out of any major need but, simply to check out the town on his own. He had a cappacino in his hand which he gently blew on as he considered what to do with his time. He didn't have class today and according to Bella and Orchid who were know doubt tussling in the courtyard, that Shea had gone out. Huh, he was hoping to spend the day with her. Ah well easily solved. He stopped in front of a jewelry shop and glanced at the jewelry his eyes stopping on a particular piece and shot up. A star ruby piece.
He knew Shea's magic were based on the purity of the gems and a star ruby was INCREDBILY rare. Not only for it's exquisite beauty but, also for the fact that these were hard to find. A star ruby was a ruby that was naturally found in diamond. The diamond was shaped to keep the ruby safe. This particular piece was an amulet of sorts and he went inside the purchase it.
"How can I help you sir?" The attendant asked.
"The star ruby amulet in the window please." Darian said.
The attendant blanched and looked at the kid. "You're sure?"
"Yes quite sure." Darian said with folded arms.
The attendant retrieved it from the window and showed him the price tag which he only waived off. Ringing it up he wrote a check for it and the attendant watched it be approved to her surprise. Wrapping it in soft velvet she put it in a bag and he walked out of the store.
"Oh no! Are you okay? I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was going."
Shea?
Darian saw Shea not even thirty feet from him and he gave a soft chuckle and walked till he was beside her. He decided not to comment yet.

“Ugh”
Mayon hit the ground as he crashed into a girl who had seemed to be reading a book. Mayon heard her apologize as she was watching where she was going. Of course Mayon was daydreaming so he hadn’t been paying much attention either. But when they ran into each other the girl dropped her book.
Mayon stood up and helped the girl back onto her feet. He then went to pick up her book but as he did all the pages fell out. Seeing the look of grief on his own face would already be a bit too much so he didn’t want to be the girls. He quickly took out another piece of chalk and drew a transmutation circle. He put the book and its pages into the circle and quickly fixed it. He looked at the girl with an apologetic grin and handed her the book as it looked as his fault the book fell apart in the first place.
Mayon remembered when he first used alchemy to fix a broken item. It felt good to fix something so easily. Mayon offered his hand to shake and to introduce himself.
“Hi. Sorry about that. I know I kind of wrecked your book but as you can see now it is as good as new. I’m Mayon Shimauri an alchemist from a discreet town. I just moved here and I kind of daydream about stuff here so I wasn’t looking where I was going so I take full responsibility.”
Mayon grinned as he said this. With his hand still out Mayon looked beside him to see a guy standing on the side laughing at them. As he smiled with embarrassment Mayon did think it was a bit funny although still a bit embarrassing. It was one thing to run into a person but another to have her book fall into a million pieces or...pages and then have to fix it in haste to hope the girl doesn’t attack him or anything of the sort.

Darian however, was a good sport and he shook Mayon's hand with a firm and equivalent grasp. His grip was strong and slightly calloused from wielding guns all the time. He gave a charming smile having the descendence of nobility and regality in his appearance. He wore his clothes comfortably and with a certain trained flare that came from plenty of times of his parents always trying to make him do better. He gave an inward smile at that memory having absorbed alot more then they ever realized he was a listener not a doer. Though he did learn.
"Darian Dumonte, gun mage, I came in from France myself."
An alchemist. I haven't seen one of those in awhile.
He gave another smile as he had seen the pages with a bit of glee. Shea had gotten a book full of music notes which meant they might have new pieces to practice on. Darian however, was a man of good heart and of course good humor musn't forget that. He wore a mantle that fit over his clothes rather well and kept his firearms discreet. Well he wore a large revolver-style pistol at his belt that looked more antique then real. Still the leather holster was oiled and shined recently and it was in the safety grip.
I wonder when he got in he's newer then me no doubt.
You think too much.

She looked up and took the offered hand. She stood and saw that the book had fallen apart. She wasn't too terribly worried she could always put the pages in a binder and use it that way but the boy seemed to be able to fix it. She watched in great interest as he drew a transmutation circle in chalk on the sidewalk and suddenly her book was fixed. Good as new. She gently took the book from him and only then did she notice Darian standing next to her.
"Thank you. And I won't let you take full responsibility. We'll share it." she said with a smile as she hugged the book to her chest. She extended a pale hand her right one to be exact the ruby pendant in the shape of a heart dangled from her wrist as she moved it forward.
"I'm Shea Donnovan, it's nice to meet you." she said with a gentle smile. "I'm a Jewel Mage and from Wales."
It was now she turned to Darian and smiled. She moved and gave him a quick hug before moving away again.
"Nice to see you again Darian." she said with a smile. "Perhaps we can all get something to eat or drink?" she offered.

"Perhaps we can all get something to eat or drink?"
Mayon thought about what this Shea girl had suggested. Having nothing better to do and having all of his errands done Mayon wondered why not. He really was new so he didn’t know many places. He didn’t know any good places to eat either. He had only been at the academy for a few days.
Mayon wondered what was up with this Darian man. Mayon have never heard of a gun mage. It was something new to him. He wondered how you use a gun with magic. Mayon was so tempted to fight this guy all of the sudden. But he tried to hold it back. Alchemy versus mystical ammo. Interesting.
Mayon snapped back to reality. He smiled but then looked by to Shea. He didn’t actually answer her but he did think it was a good idea to go for a drink.
“A drink wouldn’t be bad but I don’t have any idea where to go. I am kind of new so I don’t know many places.’
Mayon walked a few steps and as he did he past Darian. He whispered to Darian as he past. “You should that a gun mage sounds pretty interesting and I wouldn’t mind seeing your skills in battle” He then walked past Darian and turned around.
“So do you know any places?”
He smirked.

He felt Shea's arms wrap around him as he felt her sweet embrace and he returned it for a moment. The moment that they were togeather in each other's embrace. He opened his eys and watched her's for a moment almost giving a bright smile at it. It was always good to see Shea that was for certain he had enjoyed live at the academy because of her. She had certainly showed her quite a few things about the city as well and he had found himself exploring now adays so that he could surprise her.
"It's always a pleasure being with you again Shea."
He said with a smile and nodded at food and drink. Truthfully he hadn't done really either of them since breakfast having found the need to work on a few things now and then. Well not work so much as learn. Babylos was an incredible city and he had a few bags in his hands suggesting he had done some shopping.
"Actually I know of a cafe nearby that we can go to it's a really relaxed sort of setting trying to encourage studnets for customers."
He turned to Mayon's little whisper and shook his head for a moment. A Gun Mage didn't just randomly fight he considered himself more of a duelist.
I don't miss.
Darian thought to himself.

Shea looked at the two men and smiled. Darian was here and that was a surprise looked to have been doing a bit of shopping as too had she and it also seemed Mayon as well. But it would be nice to meet and get to know another person even better that it was a fellow student.
"Let's go there then. We can relax and get to know one another." she said in a soft but happy voice.
She tucked her raven black hair back behind her ears. Earings three in the right two in the left caught the sunlight for a moment.
"Lead the way." she said to Darian.

(OOC: Hope you don't mind another one crowding the streets. ^_^)
The black chill of a tainted aura could be felt among the blissfull strangers on the streets. Truly a black sheep among the crowd, the slight odor of sun-block could be smelled in the area of the small boy. A thin but purposeful barrier place between Robert and the outside world, his invisible yet oddly dark, infectious presence seeming to part the crowd before him. Everyone seemed to feel it. Mostly seemed to not even notice their feet as they adjusted their course away from the child. Good.
He kept his hands limp at his sides, his eyes focused on the ground as always. His regular, common slouch very bluntly obvious to all those who actually took the time to look at him. What was the point? A question Robert always asked himself. However, the answer seemed distant. Almost impossible to answer. Maybe it was instinct, or even curiosity. Either way they always saw the same thing. A vile, disgusting, ridiculous creature. Purposeful only to he who collected souls. Pointless to all except death. That was all he could do. Kill. Or atleast lessen one's ability to live. That was why he created barriers for himself. Barriers of cloth. Barriers of emotion, or more commonly, lack there of. Even barriers of sunscreen. A small attempt at a normal life. Yet ultimately pointless.
As soon as the cloth was removed or anger was somehow regained or the sunscreen was wiped off. When anything was taken away or given to him, he would harm. Whenever he changed, he would kill. So, he was forced to always stay the same. Always remain a nuisance. A life that was living, but not alive. A life with a heart that worked, but a soul that was trapped. Truly the life of a shell. And so he would remain. Even as he walked. Even as he pretended to display a purpose. Inside he knew. But he continued to move. To get away from the ridicule and the names and the torment that reached no bounds. Even blood had been drawn on a number of occasions. Luckily throuigh no touch. But still, it had been drawn. A good sign of his job well done. His job of living in the dark void.
His footsteps remained silent as each foot continued to fall. His eyes remained dull and lifeless, even as they found their body getting ever closer to a group of students, all older than him. But that was not unusual. More natural than anything.
He came ever close, knowing his path would keep him beside them and hopefully pass them. However, he could not go unnoticed even in the streets. The students still enjoyed his torment. Enough of them at least. This was evident by the small rock that bounched off of Robert's head with a clunk! His head was directed to be bounced off ever-so-slightly in the other direction, his fairly thin frame becoming evident in his lack of absorption against the rock.
His legs seemed to break step for a moment, Robert quickly recovering himself and walking forward more, already seeing more rocks coming at his body so quickly after the throb in his head. Probably a bruise or a bump would form soon, most likely paired with more given the other projectiles. Yet he was not aloud to react. Simply take it and see what was to happen. That was his curse, of course. Always to take.

Darian had been about to take them but, instead saw something else that bothered him immensely. Some students were picking on a youth and he didn't tolerate that. His cavalier upbringing wouldn't at all. The mantle parted with an ease of use and in a lightning movement his Forest Raven now in hand and he deflected a rock away from the youth and at a wall. He cocked the gun the crowd parting and the four who had been picking on the youth were in view. Leveling his gun at the youths he didn't even give them a moment.
Four loud and incredibly rapid bangs caused the four of them to drop to the ground clutching thier chests. The bullets that had impacted them were made of rubber often used to quell riots. Darian narrowed his eyes at them for a brief moment. One of them had his eyes frozen. His gunplay was incredibly fast and he had no qualms shooting them. He cocked the gun putting a loaded chamber in.
"The first four rounds were rubber rounds. You'll be fine after a week or two. However, I suggest that you move along."
They scurried away and he turned to face Robert for a moment.
"You're welcome to join us for a drink and a light meal. My treat."
A flick and the gun ejected the spent cases into his hand. Another flick and it was open where he loaded four more rubber rounds again. Snapping the gun closed with a final flick he turned to Mayon and Shea. His eyes were calm like nothing had happened. While speaking however he put up his gun.
"Now then the cafe."
He led them to a corner and walked into a traditional coffee house styled cafe that was well done in oak and mahagony furnishings. Clinging to a victorian theme that was elegant and simple giving it more of an at home table. When asked for the table by the waiter Darian spoke. The waiter himself looked more like the traditional waiters with white shirt and black slacks. He had a kind and polite smile.
"A table of four, I have another that might be joining us. Please keep all the orders on one tab."
The waiter nodded and lead them to a table the chairs feeling like comfortable recliners as they sat down. Menus were handed to them as Darian leaned up to glance at one of the dim lights that were made to look like a lamp. Darian was still calm but, what had happened earlier had annoyed him. He lightly drummed his fingers on the table to work out that pent up feeling as he glanced at the menu.
I wonder if he'll come.

So it had seemed that Darian did carry a weapon on him as well. As Darian carried his Gun Mayon carried his sword – Escaflowne. As he watched Darian take out his gun and cock it with rubber bullets he watched as he shot the men who were throwing rocks at a little boy. Mayon hadn’t noticed until Darian looked over. Even with rubber bullets Mayon though of shooting them for throwing rocks at a boy to be a little over the edge. There were other ways of dealing with rock throwing idiots. But there was no time to get into that. They then walked away to the entrance of a Café in which did seem nice. But it was what was in the inside that counts.
As they entered it was an all right place. A bit fancy for Mayon being in a black t-shirt and blue jeans. Mayon took off his black cloak to show his clothes as they sat down Mayon looked at the menu and had to admit it was pretty impressive. So Mayon wasn’t sure what to get. He was just the “black coffee” kind of guy and didn’t know much about some foods. Some of which he couldn’t even pronounce. Mayo would just order a coffee he then decided.
Darian had ordered a table for four so Mayon had guessed it was for that boy. But a café was no place for a child. The boy looked to be around ten or eleven but Mayon couldn’t be sure as they left before he could really examine him. Well Mayon did guess it was Darians choice. Mayon looked at Darian and Shea.
“Well I guess I’m just gonna get a black coffee and that pretty much it.”
Mayon awaited everyone else to place their order as he sat back and waited.

Shea had to admit that picking on a poor defensless or at least seemingly so boy of ten or eleven was not a good thing to do. She hated to see that but she did however think shooting the boys bugging him with rubber bullets was a bit.. overboard. She thought that.. yes you have a gun but that doesn't mean you should use it when other methods may possibly be more effective. She didn't say anything but she looked down and chewed on her lip.
"A bit much dont you think?" she asked Darian as she stepped past him in the cafe and sat across from him Mayon in the middle.
She was also a bit upset because here you had two other mages with him and he could have told them or something. She understood shooting the rock out of the way but she had the power to entwine people in nearby plant life and they were with an alchemist so he probably had some tricks up his own sleeves. She just felt that though she liked and enjoyed Darian's company greatly she was not pleased that he had gone so overboard. She did hope the boy joined them they could order him hot chocolate if he wanted it but she wasn't sure if he would.
"I think I'll just have the hot chocolate myself." she said looking down at the menu. "I really don't care for coffee myself."
She chimed in after Mayon and then the waiter was just waiting for Darian's order. Shea sat one hand iddly drumming it's fingers on the table the other twirling her earing in her ear over and over.

As Mayon and Shea waited for Darian to order; Mayon took notice of his surroundings. He noticed that a few more people had entered the building and that they had been seated as well. But as Mayon looked around he noticed Shea. He saw her there for a minuet and suddenly went into a daze.
Mayon was often daydreaming and this was no different. He was lying in a grass field. He had no idea what he was doing or what he was waiting for, if anything. He waited and waited but nothing happened. The sun beat down on him as he felt a drop of sweat roll of his head. He saw something in the sky. A faint out lining but he couldn’t make it out. Then out of now where Shea was beside him and just as he saw her he started to fall. He was falling so fast that he was afraid he might die if he landed. But he slowed to a stop and he snapped out of it.
He was looking at Shea and wondered about her. He saw her hand tapping on the table. She did look a bit stressed. So he put his hand over hers and caressed it. As Shea looked over as he did, he smiled at her to hopefully relax her a bit more. He gently caressed her hand as he looked into her eyes and wondered what he was doing. He didn’t touch people much.
“So Um, Shea, your a jewel mage right? How exactly do you use the jewels in your magic? I am just ‘err’ wondering.”

"A lesson by example. Rubber bullets on near adults is the equivalence of throwing stones at a defenseless boy. An eye for an eye sort of meaning. A thrown rock wouldn't hurt you and I as much as a boy so you have to up the ante to get the message across. Perhaps it was overboard to use the Raven given it's calibre. But, for the lesson no it was not. The most effective learning tool is pain. There was something malevolent in the way they picked on the boy. Honor dictates that the strong must aide those that weaker then themselves. So thus it was two lessons. It is disgraceful to pick on a young child and at the same time to do so again will result in me returning the favor in my own version. In that short instance however, what had happened was reaction from my own training."
Darian said in calm explanation as he basically summed up why he did it his french accent collected as he flicked over the menu and turned to the waiter. Speaking softly in french the waiter nodded and wrote down his order and departed from the table heading to take care of their order. He saw the hand caress and briefly concluded that he was just a pervert. Instead he looked at Mayon and cocked a shrug turning to face Shea.
"Ah Shea I did spot something that you might like."
He picked out a velvet wrapped item the velvet being a soft purple. He gave a smile as he watched her open it. Inside laid one of the rarest gems to ever be found. It was a heart-achingly beautiful star-ruby the ruby naturally inlayed in the diamond. The gem was surrounded by a platinum engravement each cardinal point depicted by an engravement of one of the four major elements --earth, fire, water, and air-- that showed superb craftmanship. On the back it was engraved simply.
To Shea from Darian.
"I thought you might like it."
