Belle Diamant was new in the land of Arcane. She wasn't sure much about the places and had no idea of where was what. So she decided to walk around and investigate. It was the only way she could learn about the area since she didn't know anyone from around this land. But from what she saw there was a lot of 'different' people here. Everyone had a special talent or looked different and she guessed that that must have been their reason for being here. Like herself, she was here because she was different and because she was being chased down by a crazy mad man who wanted to kill all jewel witches. But she wouldn't let him. She was going to become the best jewel witch just like her mother intended her to be.
The twenty-one year old, walked around town and looked at all the great shops that seemed to sell just about everything. There was food, clothing, weaponry and armour. There was indeed everything. The people seemed so kind and she loved to look at all the children who ran around all happily, playing and chasing eachother. She giggled as she watched them, they were indeed sweethearts.
Belle walked on and soon enough found a place that made coffee. It was just what she needed. She had awoken that morning and was much too excited to eat or even have her morning coffee. So now was better then any other time. Belle walked into the shop and stopped in front of the owner of the shop, who was working.
"Hello, may I please have a coffee. Two creams and three sugars please." she politely asked.
The man nodded and smiled, "Right away." he simply said as he made a fresh cup for her.
He then gave her the cup and told her it was $1.25. She immediatly reached into her pocket and took out a $2 coin and paid. She then took her changed but put it in the tip jar. The man was so kind that he deserved a tip.
Belle then walked out and sat on one of the white round table with an umbrella in the morning as she took a sip of the warm drink. It was indeed the best coffee she had ever had.
"It's a really nice day today." she said as she drank away.

Lucian's boots made a small thumping sounds as they clacked against the street of the city of Babylos. Lucian always felt at awe when he traveled the streets the streets of the city. In Romania his faimly was one of the few around that practiced any art of magic. In fact magic was quite a rarity in his home village, so all this different magic was very new to Lucian. Even know that he had been at the school for a solid amount of time, he could not help but be amazed all the different and unique forms of magic that existed in the world.
He approached the coffee shop, he was wearing his usual outing clothing; a black, form-fitting tank top that kept his muscular tattooed arms exposed so he could have easy access to his runes, which were sparkled dimly with mana, and a pair of black jeans. Lucian slipped the sunglasses he had been wearing off of his face as he walked up to the counter and ordered a cup of tea.
Lucian paid with a polite nod of thanks and moved outside to find a place to sit so he could find a place to sit. The place was practically deserted and he noticed one other person sitting at a table drinking what appeared to be coffee. He approached her, looking down at her with his best friendly grin.
"Excuse me miss, do you mind if I sit here? This place isn't exactly bustling and I would find it very awkward to have to sit alone," he said, his voice characteristically thick with his Romanian accent. He took a sip of his tea as he awaited her answer, holding the tea in one hand and his sunglasses in the other.

Belle was occupied drinking her coffee and looking at the young children play. It was interesting to watch them play along and watching them reminded her of her own childhood. She remembered being young as well and playing with either her friends of her age or her older sibblings. She like to enjoy herself but when her parents died, she was more of a loner. But it did not matter. Even though she would rather be on her own or be around her brother she still didn't mind caching other childrens attetion by making cute creatures with her jewel witchcraft and brag a little about. Most children were like that and she was no exeption.
The coffee was too warm for her gentle hands that she decided to put it down for a while until her hands felt better and then she would be able to drink from it again. So she lowered her hands down until the bottom of her cup was touching the table and let go of it, leaving it on the table. Belle then brought her hands up to her face and layed her head in her palms.
"So adorable..." she told herself.
She then looked at this young man walk towards her. He seemed to be around his eighteens, and he did indeed look like it. He smiled at her so she decided to be polite and smile back.
"Well I am a little lonely. Why not? Sit, sit!" she said happily pointing to the nearest chair for him to sit.
Belle then crossed her legs and picked up her coffee once more, taking a sip as she waited for her new 'guest' to sit himself down. He was young so she couldn't hate him like she did others.
"By the way, I am Belle Diamant. And you are?" she asked extending her hand out like a rich or royal woman would usually do.

He smiled and nodded, sitting down beside her. She really was quite beautiful, but Lucian would keep all such opinions about her to himself for now. She seemed older than most of the Academy student he had met. Though he had heard in passing of other students who were older than the regular teenaged students. Lucian sipped at his tea gently with a refreshed sigh, setting his sunglasses down on the table along with his cup.
She extended her his hand in a very royal manner as she introduced himself and asked her name. She very well may have been royalty, Lucian did not know for sure because he had not seen much of the world outside of his village in Romania. He decided to act as if she was royalty at least for now so as not to offend her. Besides Lucian was used to paying great respect to women, especially women who had power or riches.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Diamant," he said taking her hand gently and bowing his head a little, respectfully, as he kissed her hand softly, "I am Lucian Dragomir," he said with a warm grin, "It is rare to see women such as you around the city. And by that I mean a beautiful woman who carries herself with the grace of royalty. Are you royalty Miss Diamant?" he asked, cocking his head a little curiously as he took another sip of tea.

Belle was very pleased that he decided to sit down with her. Since she was new here, she didn't have much to do, nor did she even know what to do at all, but she was happy that she got to meet someone new. At least that way she wasn't too lonely. She at least had someone to talk to.
She smilled softly as he politely kissed her hand and introduced himself as well. He was polite and she liked that. Not everyone his age were, most only cared for girls and couldn't care less about anything else.
"It's also nice to meet you also, Mr. Dragomir." she then giggled as he continued talking. "No. I'm not royalty. But I'd love to be. It's more of like I'm wealthy but my family were always treated like it. That's why I seem to act like that. I'm sorry if it ever bothers you though."
She was always a little nervous that her habbits would annoy people since many people did hate the wealthy because of their money but she didn't understand why. It wasn't as if she kept all her money to herself or even wanted all that money. She did give money to charities and bought the less wealthy gifts for special occasions or simply if they just needed it. She was generous and loved to be since she loved to make people happy. She loved to see them smile. It was all that she wanted at all. But still today many hated her for no reasons. But maybe if she was lucky enough, most of the students here would accept her and love her instead of hate her as if she was Greed herself.
But Belle decided to see what was in store for her at this school and hopefully it would be good. But she couldn't put her hopes up just yet since she didn't want to jinx herself. She just sat there with him and drank her coffee as she thought of the future that she would maybe have one day at this school.

He nodded as she talked. For the most part she had his utmost attention except for the few times he paused to take a sip of tea. She was quite intriguing, stunningly beautiful and she carried herself with the grace of royalty. He was informed that she was not indeed royalty but the wealth of her family incurred such treatment. Lucian could sympathize, in his village his family was fairly wealthy, added to the fact that his father was the village's chief, his family too had been treated like royalty. Lucian nodded as she talked, listening with respectful attention.
Lucian grinned, "I know what it's like and worry not I am not uncomfortable at all. I was raised to respect women properly, especially women of status. Regardless of status though I believe all women should be treated with proper respect," he said with a nod, "So Ms. Diamant are you too a student at the Academy?" he asked before taking another sip of tea.
