His shoulder hurt, his stomach was torn badly by several cuts across it. His mind was nearly swallowing it self in the amounts of pain going through him. He was still standing, but it wasn’t because of his own legs strength. It was because of the wall that he had been slammed against, and made his shoulder roar in pain. He was gambling, high stakes were in the game, he could very well die, she could always heal him, right? It was yet another small step. He knew the man in front of him, he had struck a deal with him. The one he tried to fool also knew him. It was a rapist. The one that Angra had saved Celeste from some days ago. He had found him tending to his wounds in the lower parts of the city. Quickly slammed him against the wall and given him an ultimatum. Die or serve. Angra knew that the man was full fledged into this battle, or else he wouldn’t have struck those parts on Angra. Just a shame that Angra was still waiting for someone to show up to his rescue.
The one he called ‘My Angel’.
The rapist, or tried to be rapist walked forward slowly, with a wide grin on his face as he raised the knife to strike again. Angra felt strong, yet at the same time weak. He swung his right arm forward and it struck with the palm. The man screamed in pain as he stumbled back. Angra had won some time before he fell back into the wall again. The man was still screaming and stumbling back. Angra looked around. He and Celeste had been supposed to meet here around this time. A date of sorts, he couldn’t quite remember what he had told her, but it was now, she should have been here. She would be able to see the blood from Angra on the floor around him and spread around the place. The man was still clutching his head; of course, Angra had used Pain’s Touch on him. Or else he wouldn’t have stumbled from that weak bash.

Celeste was running late. Though she would have been right on time had she known where she was going. She was to meet Angra in the city at a certain spot but had taken a wrong turn and now she was just a bit late. She had tried hard to look nice today wanting to surprise Angra. Their first date since that day he asked her to be his girlfriend and she wanted it to be special.
Dressed in a flowing red dress that was made with soft silk with black trim. It fit her body beautifully and had a low scooping back so that she could pull her wings in and out at will. Her hair had been curled sligtly so that it hung beautifully around her shoulders. She even wore black high heeled shoes that could be seen as the dress only fell to her knees.
Finally she had found the right street. She smiled as she saw the corner where they were too meet. Yet, the smile fell as she saw and smelled.. blood. Her eyes widened in fear and she ran .. faster than she had ever run before not worried now about the date but only the person it was to have been with. Turning the corner she saw it. The man writhing in pain but lunging for Angra again. Her love, bleeding out of serious wounds and she just stared for a moment.
Her wings came out of her shoulder with a loud *flwap* and her eyes changed to that deep blood red that Angra loved so very much. Yet, she was beyond pissed now. Pissed, scared for Angra, and angry. She was not the girl you wanted to deal with right now.
"Barrier of Light!" she called out and before the man could even think about touching Angra a barrier made of pure bright white light surrounded Angra. Angra inside would not come to harm and he would still see everything that was happening.
The man turned around and her eyes narrowed as she saw who had dared attack her man. He grinned as his earlier prey seemed to step right back into his life and was sooo ready for the taking now that her boyfriend couldn't save her. Yet, he had sorely underestimated her ability to fight for that which she cared a great deal for.
"Lunar Entrapment." she called out.
Suddenly the man could no longer move. Though he tried invisible constraints kept him lodged in place. There was no way he would be able to move, walk, or even swing that damed knife that was in his hand. Celeste now sure that he couldn't touch her moved closer. Angra was bleeding out and she was worried.
Dropping the Barrier of Light she moved to Angra's side. She kissed his lips softly and took his body against her laying him down on the street. She had wanted to tell him something important today but that would be saved for later.
"Angra, dearest." she whispered softly. "Prayer of an Angel."
The lights came down from the heavens to heal the man she had fallen for. It would take some minutes for him to heal from his very dangerous wounds and it looked like instead of a date she would be flying him back to her room to take care of him once again. She stood leaving Angra to heal and turned back to look at the man that had done this to him her eyes narrowed again as she walked around to face him.
"Light Seeker." she whispered cruelly and small beams of light whirled forward going right through the mans body causing immense pain and suffering. She could only smile. "Fighting people that save others is not kind, wouldn't you say?"
"Light Seeker." she whispered again as the bolts of light entered and exited his body. Celeste stood there in front of him as the man seemed not only in pain but pissed that he could do nothing about it. "Life is certainly wasted on you."
"Staff of Nephilim." she whispered as the staff came out of no where and into her hand. Forming by orbs of light. It was a very ornate staff. On the top was a cresent moon and a star but on the bottom was a very sharp point. The man's eyes widened in fear.
"Do you think you deserve life?" she asked cooly as she stepped forward. She smirked. "For what you have done with it, it seems wasted upon you."
She stabbed him hard right through the shoulder. This would not kill him but it would hurt very badly. She smirked and twisted before she pulled back out.
"Touch me or that man again and I will personally hunt you down and show you just how badly an angel can maim." her eyes shifted back to Angra who should be fully healed now and her cold eyes softened. Leaving the man entraped she dismissed her staff and knelt next to Angra.
"Angra dearest, lets go home." she said softly as she began to help her now weak from bloodloss, love, up and she smiled. "We can fly if you like."

The voice broke through and he was relieved inside, so close that his gamble almost had been too bold for him. The angel had come to save him. He sighed deeply at his own bloodloss. He hoped that his plans in the future wouldn't involve him getting harmed this badly. He gritted his teeth in both pleasure and pain. Then felt a calm thing pass through him, something was changing with his status. He had felt this before. He was going to be saved for sure now. Unless his body didn't have enough blood to run around in his veins. He opened his eyes and witnessed his angel do devilish things. He smiled and looked into the sky, feeling on his own body the pleasure of every stroke of pain flourishing in the perverts body. A wide bloody grin on his lips, his own blood of course. His body was soaked in it. A maniac smile on his lips as he turned down again and watched her stab him in the shoulder. She didn't kill him however, he would have to do something about that. This one was a dangerous one to be kept alive. Much to dangerous.
Angra frowned the second she turned around and he looked pained and kept his breathing ragged and heavy. His eyes found hers and she spoke to him with soft love filled words. He stood up with her help and leaned a little over on her. Sure they could fly.
"My Angel we can fly... But he... never used his powers. He is too dangerous for us to have alive. He will keep a grudge and will never stop chasing us... You must end him now..." He coughed up some blood stuck inside his mouth and spat it out on the ground. "... I can't... Please. End his foul life." He leaned over on her and his lips briefly touched her neck before he seemingly passed out over her shoulder. Of course he didn't, but relaxing in all muscles at once and blam, you had a fake pass out. He just hoped she would do as he said before she would fly away with his seemingly unconcious body. That would miracolous awake while in air. God he was a genious.

Angra now leaned against her and she was ready to fly with him. He was hurt and by the look of him he had lost a lot of blood. There was something much more important than the man that was currently unable to move because she had cast her spell on him.
Yet Angra after kissing her neck told her to kill him. That he would only come after them again. And yet she wasn't sure. The man now knew that she had the power to do him harm. Surely he would think twice about attacking either of them. Yet, she had seen the damage he had done to Angra and she couldn't let even the possiblity go of that happening again.
No, Angra was the most important thing in her life. There was no way she could stand to see him harmed like this again. What powers did this man have. Angra said he had them but she had not seen them. And not everyone here had powers. She looked at Angra who had now passed out from blood loss. She had to make a decision fast. She sat him down and while her back was turned she was hit.
A rather sizeable ball of fire hit her right wing singing some of the feathers and causing her to scream out in pain. She winced and leaned against the wall for a moment gathering her resolve. Pissed now her eyes were deep red as she summoned her spear and looked at the trapped man.
"Wrong move, buddy." she said coldly.
She looked him right in the eyes tears leaking from her angry flaring irises as she stabbed the man right through the heart. She twisted it as she saw the man's face register the action before he collapsed bleeding into the alley way. She ran back to Angra and took flight holding him close. She began to fly back to the academy tears leaking from her eyes, in immense pain and still having to fly under the burden of Angra, and lost within her mind.

Feeling the rush of wind through his hair, the arms of Celeste around him, the wonderful thought of having her in his hand was over him. The sense of accomplishment, the first step of many before the last plunge into eternal darkness. His eyes opening slowly, with him coughing some before he turned a little in her grip. Something entirely uncomfortable was over this, she was the only thing between him and terrible injuries or worse, death. He stayed calm and closed his eyes again, it had been an awesome sight to see the city roar past below him, the small people walking around in their own business. If he had been a hybrid between himself and avian dna... Then those people down there would have been in horrible pain. Destruction would rain down upon them from the skies and they would never be rid of an eternal pain going through their bodies. Breathing out through lips not parted enough, giving out a whistle. His eyes shot open at his own sound, thinking it had been something else he just turned his head up to look at he wings flapping in the evening air. Noticing the black spot on them, she had been hurt for his sake. Like he had been hurt for her sake.
"Urgh... My ange... This... Magnifcent..." His words stumbled as the wind rushed into his mouth, obscuring half the words, the other half coming out in halfway complete or halfway incomplete. He wouldn't be surprised if she couldn't hear him. He turned his face and tried to block the air from rushing into his mouth too fast. "Can you manage?" It seemed to work already, he could hear himself clearly though, just he hoped his angel could hear him.

Celeste was not looking down at the city below them. She had more important things to take care of right now that a sight seeing tour over Babylos. First was her boyfriend, Angra, who was still hurt and passed out. A dead weight in her arms and it was hard to keep them up with a wing that pulsed with pain every time the feathers got moved by the wind. Which was constant at the moment. It was beginning to bleed the red running down and staining the white features. He had hit her really good.
She heard the messed up words of Angra and looked down at him. She couldn't tell if he was in a lot of pain but she couldn't do anything about it up here. More words came and her sensitive ears heard them clearly this time. She could only nod she was clenching her jaw through the pain at the moment.
The school was in sight and she flew around it towards the dormitory. Her lower wing was blood red now and dripping as she finally flew through the window in her room that was always open. She sat Angra down gently on the bed before her eyes rolled back in her eyes and she fell back. A sickening crack as her wings collapsed underneath her.
Blood dripped onto the floor. She could heal on her own but it would take time. But she was unsure if Angra would know that or not but right now as she slept she recovered. Her body healing slowly the hole in her wing had stopped bleeding but it would be hard to tell as thick with blood as it already was.

A soft landing…
A terrible crash…
A scream for Celeste…
An outburst of emotion for a second before they were covered up. He gulped harshly. Being confronted with death, destruction, deceit, and more things was his everyday life. But, in all his years where he had known how to slay, murder, injure, and cripple people, had he never figured out it was much harder to save someone, rather than kill them. He gulped again, standing frozen another second before he carried Celeste over to the bed and placed her in it. The short trip had him weakened too much for his liking. He had lost a lot of blood himself. He rested for two or three seconds before he tried to think of what to do, her wing was in a bad state, his fingers brushed over the wound, barely touching it, he found some clothing, washed it in warm water and bandaged her wing, magic was a thousand times better, but he had nothing that could help her. He stood in the hallway mesmerized a second. Behind him, Celeste lay in terrible pain, he could feel that from the lasting thrill going through his body and mind. Like one long orgasm. He shook his head. No time for own personal pleasures now. He had an angel. As that thought struck him… Celeste, half angel… She had a brother, Hadrian. It was a long shot. But if the same people made them, then he should also have healing abilities or else he would know how to treat a wound to her wing. Not many humans had that sort of skills, maybe a vet, but that would be an insult if Celeste woke up to a vet…
The problem was only…
~How on earth will I find that human shy angel before it might be too late…~
He took a couple of steps down the hallway,
~ Angra, stop to think… Where would Hadrian be, and it’s to no use to run around and guess wrong each time. Stop to think dimwit… It’s a wing wound… Probably not even deadly and you are worked up like this… OF COURSE! ~
He couldn’t find Hadrian fast enough, then perhaps Celeste could die, but he would have a better chance of winning the lottery than finding Hadrian. So, he would have to rely on something else. Turning back around again into her room. Found the little beetle. He felt rather dumb to begin talking to a metallic thing.
“Ehm… What was your name again… Azure! Azure, if you appreciate the life of Celeste, then please, find Hadrian for me… And quickly. Wait a moment…” He looked around, he looked through the place to find a pencil and some paper. Writing down a note, quickly, he wrote a simple note.
‘Hadrian.
Your sister is injured and I need someone to help her. I can’t very much just leave her here. Please come to her room quickly.
- Angra.’
He found some tape and taped it to the beetle, promised it a new battery once it returned. Not knowing whether or not it lived on batteries or magic. If it was oil, then he was sure he could find some. He saw the beetle leave the room hastily to find the much-needed brother. Angra, watched it from the door way some seconds before it was out of sight and he returned back to the room where he closed the door after him. He felt so tired… The blood loss catching up to him. She was filling most of the bed, all of the bed with her massive wings, so he couldn’t rest there, unless he used her wings as a sort of blanket of sorts. Which he would not do if he had judged Hadrian correct. Then using Celeste like that wouldn’t be a smart choice. He yawned lightly and boiled some water in the kitchen before going back to nursing Celeste, he had to take care of his prized little girl friend. For he had such adorable plans with her, and those wings served a big deal of those plans. He brushed his hand over her cheek as he started to check her body for other injuries and only found a small bruise from the landing. Rechecked the large injury on her wing, the injury that was thick with blood so he could barely see it. This was what he passed his time with, hoping Azure would find Hadrian quickly.

Hadrian had been laying low as it were for a little while. He was disgusted by being surrounded by humans for so long. Though it seemed to be having an effect on him. He was accepting things of the human nature that he had previously found repulsive and confusing. While the knowledge gave him a bit more wisdom when dealing with humans he was disgusted with himself for lowering to their level to try and understand them.
He had been flying when suddenly a metallic beetle flitted into a collision course with him. Luckily he was able to summon a shadow tendril quickly enough and held the beetle firmly in place with the help of the obsidian tentacle. His face was sour as he hovered in place, examining the creature.
"Mindless beetle, flitting around," he said, "Most likely the work of some human artificer," he said with a obviously bitter tone of disgust. Then he noticed the note taped to the beetles back, he snatched at it, recognizing his name. He read it quickly and his normally sour expression became dark and rageful as he clutched the beetle tightly in his hand as he raced towards Celeste's room.
The damnable human Angra had gotten her hurt. He knew this would happen, humans could not be trusted. It was ridiculous to think one of them could be trusted with the task of caring for and protecting Celeste. This failure on Angra's part proved him right and now his dark rage could only be sated with the blood of the one who had failed his sister.
His wings flapped silently as he flew as fast as he could to Celeste's room. In his anger he hurled the beetle through the balcony before landing, "ANGRA!!" he bellowed angrily as he landed. His black eyes were slits of rage as he stalked into the room. Hadrian's fists were clenched tightly as he restrained himself from killing the boy on the spot. His Scythe of the Nephilim appeared at Angra's throat in a flash of black light, "Give me one good reason why I should not tear out your throat where you stand," he snarled savagely.

Eyes opening quickly when he heard his name be shouted from outside, barely catching the beetle that had been going straight for him, he dropped the beetle to the ground when he saw some black light. He gulped as he heard the very friendly toned question. He could see the look on the half humane angel in front of him. He had suspected this approach from Hadrian, but he had hoped that the condition of his sister was more important than killing a guy indirectly and directly responsible for it all. He was in deep trouble if it hadn't been for Celeste killing that guy. He took a small breath and looked directly into the eyes of the brother.
"Celeste..."
It was one word he spoke, and this word alone should be enough for Hadrian he hoped. Getting a bit angry at what Hadrian was doing, threatening him on his life, his mind couldn't even find a way of escaping unharmed, not in this weakened state he was trapped in.
“I had hoped you wouldn’t do this, Hadrian… I had hoped you would be more concerned with the well being of your sister, rather than threatening me like this...”
He paused for some moments, staring directly at Hadrian, not blinking nor breathing for that matter. Just having his ice-cold eyes fixed upon Hadrian eyes. Noticing the black wings again. He seemed so much different from Celeste in way of being and angel appearance.
“Will you get over to her and do your best? Or will you stay here and do the worst?"

Hadrian's rage was barely capable of being kept in check at this point. This scum, this human had endangered his sister and that was completely unforgivable. She had cared deeply for this Angra against Hadrian's wishes and his well-advised warnings. But now, now Angra had done what he had said he would do, he had hurt Celeste. How dare this pig use his sister's name, Hadrian snarled animalistically at him mentioning Celeste's name. A shadow tendril erupted from the floor and wrapped itself tightly around Angra's neck, lifting him a few inches off the ground.
"You...," he said his voice low but full of icy menace and rage, "Do not dare speak her name. Celeste's name is far too good to cross your disgusting human lips," he said shaking softly with rage, "You, you hurt her and for that I will never forgive you," he said his voice deep and hate-filled, "Out of my sight!" he roared as the tendril whipped Angra violently against the wall.
Then his expression softening, Hadrian moved across the room to deal with Celeste. He knelt down beside the bed and inspected her wings. One had a huge hole in it, the blood was filling the hole rapidly. He knew she could heal it on her own, it would take time but it would heal nontheless. However the bones would have to be set. He used his shadow tendrils to wrip up pieces of the bedsheets and wound them tightly around the damaged wing, setting the bone tightly in place.
"You'll be fine now little sister," he whispered softly, kissing her forehead. His expression turned dark with rage again as he stood and turned back to the fallen form of Angra, "Now I will exact my revenge little human," he said with a sadistic grin as he held up a hand. A small cloud of razor sharp shards of shadow appeared, hovering above his hand, "I will enjoy making you pay," he said with a mildly manic chuckle as he pushed his hand forward. The Shards of Darkness zipped towards Angra, slamming into his fallen body and creating dozens of small but excruiatiningly cuts all over his body.
"Scream all you want, it makes the experience that much more enjoyable," he said with a manic giggle as he fired a Shadow Beam into the back of Angra's head, grinding it painfully against the wall.

His words fell for deaf ears, too deaf for Angra's liking. He now fully understood the way Hadrian lived, he was a racist, and one of the worst of it's kind. Humans, was the lowest thing in his eyes, too bad he himself was a half human, unless Angra had misinterpreted what Celeste had said the first evening. He had both arms up as a X to cover his body and his face down when he heard what Hadrian said and saw what was forming in his hands. He did scream, just not in pain, in pleasure. The perverted mind of his did truly enjoy this punishment. His vision turned completely white for a moment as the pleasure exterminated his logical sense, so now there was none left in the room. When the vision returned, Angra felt unbelievable strong, like he could take on the whole world. Impulses send from every particle in his body went in overdrive and shed out energy as quickly as it absorbed the energy. His eyes were glinting with madness. While the logical part of his mind thought up the reversed of Pain's Touch, he would just have to do the opposite of what he did with Pain's Touch. He was still debating with his body the ethical in this move. His very existence was pain, and to do such a perversity to what he were and stood for would be like pulling off the wings of a butterfly, or angel in this case. When he saw what Hadrian prepared, the logical part of him vetoed the rest and used it against himself. His left palm pressed against his neck, sending in a signal that stunned the nerves that send signals of pain to his brain and several others by mistake.
~Jesus wept... Reminds me of... me in some situations... Here comes another one.~ The half angel in front of him obviously enjoyed to harm humans, to harm them big time, Angra could see that on his body, he just no longer could feel it. The thrill was gone and he felt normal again, unfortunately. He felt nothing when his head was grinded into the wall headfirst. He could only see the small amounts of blood dripping on the ground. He was too weak in his body right now to do anything but watch and try to talk him into sense.
“Hadrian… If you stop attacking now, then I won’t tell your sister about what you did once she wakes up again. For she likes you as a brother, and I won’t be the reason for you two separating... And if you would just calm down some, then I can explain who did this to her, for it wasn’t me…” His hands up protecting his face, to protect his mouth mostly so he could continue the speaking even if attacked. He just hoped the male angel would listen, at least stop attacking him since he didn’t like having his body molested like this.

Hadrian snarled with rage at the cleverly veiled threat. He almost killed Angra right there on the spot, in fact he had unconciously summoned his Scythe of the Nephilim. Hadrian was gripping the scythe so hard that his knuckles were ghostly white. It was taking every ounce of self-restraint he had not to lop off Angra's head. But he couldn't lose Celeste, she was the only other kind of his race. It was then that Hadrian realized what he feared the most about losing Celeste and that was being alone. His disgust for the human race alienated him from the majority of the students at the Academy. Without Celeste he would be truly and utterly alone. His grip loosened a little on the scythe as he watched Angra with an expression of pure hatred.
He walked towards him slowly, the scythe resting on his shoulder, a manic smirk on his face, "A very clever threat human. You are like the rest of your kind, always plotting, a brood of vipers is what your race is," he said, his voice calm as he slammed his foot viciously into Angra's face, "You can threaten me all you want, but you should know that Celeste is dearer to me than my own life," he said, pressing his foot harder against Angra's face.
"I don't care who hurt her, what I do care about is that you could have protected her and you didn't," he said, his voice was light, almost sweet, "That is unforgiveable," he said pressing even harder, "If this ever happens again you can swear by whatever god you pray to that I will end your pathetic existance," he said as he eased up on the pressure he was placing on Angra's head, "I will be staying with her until she awakens," he said, taking his foot off of Angra's face and sitting in a chair in the corner. The scythe lay across his lap as he watched Celeste with a soft, almost caring expression.

Celeste felt the bone set and she winced in pain but inside she screamed. It was like those times in her past that when she had been tortured and broken only to see how fast she could heal herself. She groaned and in her dreams she could hear fighting. Two people she loved most were fighting.
----
"Hey there princess. You can't give up yet. It isn't time for you to join us." came an over familiar voice of Dark his lavender eyes she could see so clearly.
"I miss you." were her first words. She could almost feel the soft carress of Dark and Drake's touch on her face.
"Now now, I told you that in the afterlife we would continue where we left off remember?" he asked with that same knowing smirk. She nodded. "Now go back, your tale has not yet finished."
-----
Celeste's eyes opened and for a moment everything was dark. It was then that she realized it was night time. Her eyes adjusted to the dark and she turned her head slowly her body still slightly weak as she looked over and saw Hadrian in the chair watching her with his scythe at the ready.
How had he found out? He must have been livid. She looked around and saw Angra lit up by the lamp over the stove as he drank a cup of coffee. Her eyes narrowed as she saw the cuts on his body because she knew that he had been completely healed and now he was wounded again and she sighed.
"Can you two not get along?" she croaked out softly as she stirred her wings slipping into her back. Her eyes returning to the blue color.
She swallowed hard she needed water or something. Silently she wondered how long she had been out. Hadrian was pissed it was writting all over his face but his eyes held nothing but concern for his sister. Angra however looked dead tired and shouldn't be standing. Had she been able to move she would have pulled him to bed with her.
"What happened between you two?" she whispered her throat raw and dry her voice cracking slightly.

Scratching his jaw absent minded as he was drinking his coffee to stay awake. Getting abused by some crazy man was never fun, he had tried it before, this time he just couldn't stab the man to death like always, now he had to keep true to his masquarade. He took a slurp of his coffee and kept his eyes on Celeste as she slept, a smile on his lips despite the hatred roaming in his mind. The 56th time Hadrian getting killed in his mind had just passed when he took another drink of his coffee. If he hadn't taken the drastic steps as to numb himself completely from pain, then he might have harmed Hadrian's leg so much that it would still be cramping in pain right now. Even in that weakened state could he have done that. Stretched his cut limbs that he had nursed on old fashion. He yawned tiredly but he had a feeling that he was far from done with this evening. The disturbing part was the way Hadrian looked at his sister. A shiver sent down his spine at the thought. He took the last drink of the coffee when he heard her voice. He looked over at her with his dead tired eyes, her voice was different, only reasonable after what had happened to her. He pushed away from the table and walked over to her and gave her a hug, not caring what Hadrian might say to that. Another attack wouldn't make a difference.
"It was nothing but a misunderstanding..." It was obvious that he was lying right now, but he gave her a kiss on the cheek and gave her a reassuring smile. He was a great liar, but right now it served his interests to pretend not to be that. "Right, Hadrian?" He looked over to Hadrian for a second, hoping that the angel at least had the senses to understand this hint and agree with him.

A look of disgust crossed his features as Angra moved over to hug Celeste. He was glad Celeste had found happiness but it didn't help matters that her happiness lay with a human. But then again, she was his opposite maybe that was also true about their views on humanity. Hadrian would have to meditate on it later, right now Celeste was hurt and he would make sure she was well.
"Yes, just a misunderstanding," Hadrian said, rage flitting across his features as his grip tightened ever so slightly on his scythe. How he longed for feel with satisfaction the blade of his scythe rip through the skin of Angra's neck. To see the shocked expression frozen forever on his detached head, to hold it in his hands as blood dripped from the bottom and onto his hands. He shook his head a little, pushing those thoughts to the background. There would be time for that later, now Celeste was hurt and required attention.
"Is there anything you need Celeste?" he asked as he stood, laying the scythe back against his shoulder. He walked towards the bed, standing beside Angra and looking down at her. Hadrian glanced fleetingly at Angra and another image of his beheaded corpse drifted through his mind. A ghost of a grin played at his lips at the satisfying thought of bathing his hands in Angra's blood .
