Ever seen a kid pressed up against window, making weird faces at people on the other side? Or a hockey player shoved into the plexiglass barriers? That was what Rae kind of looked like at this moment, his face hard pressed against the glass that separated him from a shop that supplied the latest technological innovations. Although, at the moment, he was just his normal size, so it was probably looking more like a bug squashed on a windshield than a human stuck to the glass. But, c'mon, he was only four inches tall...
"Hey, you got money, shorty?"
The voice came from behind him, so he instantly changed to big mode, since his normal being couldn't speak. Still, pressed against the glass, he gave a non-chalant "Nope!" For an answer.
A few seconds later, he found himself stuck in a pile of trash. The rude guy had actually tossed him for window shopping. How rude of him! He had only been there for half an hour, after all.

Arche is out and on the town for one of the first times since she had gotten here. It's quite the city! her backpack is already heavy with the morning's purchases. Mostly ammunition and explosives, of course. It is a sunny day, and the rays gleam off the freshly polished bell of her blunderbuss, which is currently strapped to the side of her leather backpack.
As she strolls along past a strip of tech shops, Arche sees a scene underway. A window-shopping - no, a window-clinging - boy is litteraly scraped off a storefront and tossed away by a disgruntled proprietor. )*sigh*...here we go...( she says to herself in a jokingly exhausted tone.
She approaches the young man in his trashy landing place and extends a hand. Some people might say her leather, metal-plated gauntlets were a fashion disaster, but anyone who felt like criticizing her for her choices in garb was likely to be feeling a gauntleted fist breaking their teeth! "Need a hand, sport?" She says cheerfully. Arche genuinely sympathizes with him; there's no reason for a shopkeep to behave in such a fashion. Shopkeeps in general are just jealous because they're NPCs. ;D

"Need a hand, sport?"
Rae quickly grabbed himself a hand, glad for the assistance in getting up out of the trash heap. Sure, it be easy enough, even for a wuss like him, but who cared when somebody else was there to make it easier? Pulling himself up, with her assitance, he had his eyes closed and was giving her a bright smile, despite a wet discarded newspaper on his shoulder. When his eyes opened, he looked at the piece of trash with a questioning blink and brushed it off casually.
"Hey! Thanks a lot! I guess I was hanging around that place too long. I guess..." He laughed cheerfully, with a twinge of nervousness. Rae had just been seen getting tossed into a pile of trash, it was only natural.
"Yeah, so uh... Thanks!" He had himself another nervous laugh, not sure how to react at the moment.
