Tristan, like so many others of his profession (how ever few and far between they were) suffered from insomnia as most of his quary was nocturnal. He himself was derived from a nocturnal creature, so it was no surprise that it was well after midnight at Babylos, and the six foot three pillar of a man was wandering about aimlessly. The only problem with finding shit at night, was it looked so much different during the day.
The moon was full, and Tristan was walking alone, having left Igneus at his residence. His dark orange glasses were pressed high to the bridge of his nose and the bright moon light of the utterly cloudless sky hid both eyes. He walked along at a slow pace, taking in every detail and letting his mind convert it to daylight so he could find any areas of interest in the morning.
He turned into a small side path between a few rows of buildings, and passed by several alleys. As he passed by another, there was a rustling sound.

Idiot. You're so useless...
Can you shut up for a second? Your fawkin' voice hurts my ears.
Silently, the young vamparic - yeah, she's a vampire now - walked silently through the night. It pretty much sucked because she couldn't go out in the day anymore, couldn't wear silver for some odd reason, and just to sum it together, being a vampire sucked. There was nothing you can do! Other than having an incredible charm to tease both men and women, and the fact that vampires can flit... Of course, she liked having the speed and all, but the fact that her magic had been reduced to half pissed her off. She loves her magic - shadow manipulation, and now she had to work hard again to bring it up to where it was before. Great.
So that's what she was doing outside - practicing her little magic in an alleyway, pulling shadows and putting them back, replacing them, and all that other good stuff. And as she was about to pull another shadow, a cat jumped out of nowhere, falling ontop of a trashcan, when eventually, it tipped over. It landed on top of trash bags, so it wasn't that loud, but still audible.
With a blank look on her face, she continued on through the alleyway, until she saw another figure. Stopping in her tracks, she stared at him before turning her head slightly. Why is he outside so late at night, and in an alley...?

Tristan's eyes locked onto the figure of a young woman, just about a foot shorter than the hunter. His sunglasses, in the moon light, cast an eerye glow in her direction. What she was doing out in the middle of the night was beyond him. A cat ran past Tristan's feet and drew his attention for a moment.
When he looked back, he realized why she was out an about. "A vampire huh?" He said, his left gauntlet beginning to glow with the blue lightning of transmutation as the fourteen inch blade extended from the back plate of the titanium peice of armor. "Are you a student at the Academy?" He asked, his tone as cold as that of the utter nothingness of Igneus' teleportation ability.
The hunter was ready to lash out and destroy another monster if she wasn't from Arcane, and he was well armed to do it.

Talk about being demanding.. Tch.
"Yeah."
Her answer was short and blunt, with not much enthusism put into it. She said it carelessly, and watched as a sword like thing grew from a gauntlet. Her eye brow arching, needless to say it was interesting at what he could do. She was a vampire, she may have been cocky at times now, but she knew when to mess with someone and when not to. And especially in her state, how she was beginning to get used to being a vampire, she wasn't capable to fight anything. And anyway, she wasn't out to hunt. Like stated, she was out to practice her magic so it wouldn't fade away as time goes.
She stared at him for a moment, before making her way past him. She answered his question, and if he'd attack her, then she'd just sink herself in the shadows. As she walked, her right hand played with a small shadow, making it change shapes from various kinds of weapons; from knives to guns.

Tristan's blade stayed incase he still needed it. He thought for a moment, his eyes never leaving her. There were some vampires, young, too young, and he had to kill them because they needed to feed. "Did you want to be?" Was a final question. There was an ability of the Crusnik race that would allow the vampire's curse to be lifted, or so the myth's said.
He turned to face square with her, a serious look on his face, but the tone of that last question had been surprisingly concerned in the hunters own way. There was a glint of empathy in his eye, but masked by the glasses.

Death - she wasn't afraid of it. So if she was facing death right now, she could have given a yawn and walked away. Everyone dies anyway, just takes some people longer than others.
Staring at the guy, she thought for a moment, giving a small visible frown, which then turned to a sad smile. One thing that most people noticed about Minji was that she had major mood swings. I mean major. One day she would be a total wack job, going on a killing spree and whatnot, and then the next day she'll act totally calm, going off to that river to sort out her thoughts and help others. And the day she became a vampire, no, the week she became a vampire, you could say she was odd. So at that time, she didn't care if she was a vampire or not, but right now, she didn't like it so much, but did it matter? She was a vampire whether she liked it or not. Nothing would change it, not that she knew of.
"...does it matter?.."
Pushing her hands into the pockets of her sweater, she turned to look at him, wondering why he was asking these questions in the first place.

Tristan watched her expression change. He honestly felt bad for her. That look told him that she hadn't wanted to become a vampire, and that she hated it deep inside. The word turned through his head, "How long have you been a vampire?...Under a year? Yes, it looks like it." He said, beginning to walk toward her.
His steps were slow and deliberate, they echoed slightly with his heavy boots. He would stop a few inches from her, "I can turn you back...I'm not exactly human either." Tristan admitted quietly, his voice still its usual deep pitch but the tone empathetic.

He can turn her back. But whats the point? She belonged to him. She was his "property", his slave. It went with the rules of being a vampire, which she read about in a book. If she were bitten, what would stop him from biting her again? What would stop him from slaying her? He was strong, and when he bit, it hurt. She remembered the pain she went through last time, and winced from the memory. That, and he gave her a place to stay in his home as a vampire - he was nice, kind enough really. He just had a ... fetish for blood.
So she shook her head.
"I can't betray him."

"What's there to betray?" He said calmly. Tristan saw that she hadn't wanted to be a vampire, so why was she refusing to be turned back. "If you didn't want to be a vampire, then you shouldn't have to be one. If who ever bit you has a problem with it they can deal with me." His tone stayed the same, only his mouth moved as he looked down at her.
She was pale as any vampire. "If your worried about them coming after you we can protect you." He continued. Not only did he care if she didn't want to be a vampire, but if he turned her back, that was one less vampire to deal with in the end.

"It's hard to explain... I have a split personality. At that time I wasn't myself, so I didn't care if I turned into one or not. I let him turn me into a vampire. I realize now that it isn't the best, but there are times when my other self goes loose, and does unexplainable things... But ever since I got bitten, I can control it now. It's...complicated."
That's right, you're stuck with me. Haha
Subconsciously, the girl began rubbing the back of her neck, a nervous habit she picked up a while ago.
OOC: ...rushed.

What she meant by that, he could only guess. The part about a split personality was clear enough, but the rest of it was as confusing to listen to as it was for her to say, or even more so. Still, Tristan's mind bombarded the words as they bounced around his head and he formed a responce.
"I actually know somebody who could help with that...Guy's a telepath and he could help you control it." He said, his tone loosing empathy and switching to a mild ammusement. The hunter's word was true, the telepath he was speaking of was Roy, and there was no doubt in Tristan's mind that that sort of approach would work. The part about the aid of a telepath at least.
"My offer stands, I can help you as well as protect you." His voice became sympathetic once again.

"I'll think about it."
That was the only reply the purple haired girl could give. This was a decision she couldn't find herself to make over night. It was too fast - she needed time, and she had to talk to Vlad about it - if she had the guts to. She "belonged" to him, did she not? She sighed - vampire rules were such a bore. There were too many boundries. Her eyes held a sad tale - her answer was most likely going to be a yes, and change back-
No. You are not changing back to a pathetic human again. It's more fun this way~
"...ugh..."
She stepped back, her eyes shutting tightly, her right hand moving to the side of her head. Another downside to being a vampire - the voice inside her seemed fourty times louder, which meant fourty times the headache. To tell the truth, she really thought death would be better than anything else.

Tristan gave a small sigh in partial iritation. He could do what he said, but she hadn't agreed and he wasn't just going to go into his crusnik form and bite her. A few separate scenarios ran through his mind quickly. He quickly changed the images in his mind when he saw himself having to kill the girl as a vampire. The images changed to Tristan fighting a shadow like figure, it being the vampire who had bitten this girl.
A couple of other possibilities ran through his mind when she recoiled, seemingly in pain. Tristan's unbladed hand reached up and hovered near her shoulder. He didn't touch her, but was there if she needed to lean on something sturdy. "What is it?" Came the deep voice, he was concerned as the onset of pain was utterly random.
He couldn't explain why he felt bad for this girl, it wasn't like he was attracted to her, hell, judging by the look of her, the hunter was old enough to be her father. What he did know was that there was something telling him to help her and help her he would, if he could.

C'mon~ Don't you find this more fun? Heh~! You can bite people and eat their heads off! Remember what I told you when we were first introduced?
Oh yes - she remembered clearly what the voice first said when the voice first appeared from no where. That was the time when Minji went through the emotional breakdown, going mentally unstable and started to ditch class. That's when she started getting violent and that's when she started to get angry very easily. She was tempted to do many things, most of which she did.
"...shut up..."
She whispered, her other hand moving towards the other side of her head, pressing against her ears. While the guy was talking, so was the voice, and she couldn't hear him. Maybe if the voice was a little quieter...
You were a killer since you were born. It runs in the family, you know that, right~? After you have kids and die, I'll haunt one of your children, and it'll go straight down the family line~!!
"...stop.."
The mocking laughter in her mind eventually died away, and she was breathing harshly, her chest heaving up and down, mentally exhausted, yet relieved to know that the voice was gone, for now. Her hands slowly slipped down by her sides, and a tired look was shone on her face. She tilted her head up to look at the guy, an apologetic look settling on her face.
"..I should go.."

Tristan was slightly taken aback by what she said. He realized it must have been what she was talking about, the split personality. The hunter had seen it in the vampire Grey, souls fighting for command, though he didn't realize it. He activated his alchemy and drew back the one blade.
She then looked up, appearing exausted, and said that she should go. "Before you go, you should seriously consider my offer. If you don't want that other side to be part of you any more, if you want to be free from both fronts.... You won't owe me or any one els any thing, I assure you." He said, still trying to help, if she still refused, there was nothing he could do...for now.
