Myst had packed her backpack full of CDs, Glow sticks, and her boombox. As much as she liked Robert following her to her normal raving spot, tonight she just wanted to rave with out feeling like she was being watched. So, Myst left a note on the table telling Robert she went off to a new secret rave spot. She didn't tell him where, thus the reason it was a secret. Since he was out getting more things for who knows what she took advantage of that jumped out the window of their room. Myst landed on all fours then stood up, dusted her hands off and took off running. Into the woods she went her tail curled around her waist and her pigtails bouncing slightly. Her ears twitched here and there every time an animal moved around in the brush or she stepped on a twig. It was nice and dark and Myst knew it was perfect for raving. So She found a new clearing, set up her boombox, and slipped her Glowsticks on all over her body. She was wearing bellbottom jeans and a lime green tank top. Her brown hair was up in pigtails and her tail twitched around behind her. She crouched down by her boombox and sifted through her CDs. She pulled out a CD and slipped it into the CD player. Music began to play and Myst began to sway. Her waterlily's and water butterflies circling her and refracting the glow from her glow sticks so it looked like there were more lights. ((OOC: Here is the song ))

Home! The extatic thought whirled through Grey's entire being, euphoria blending with his senses. He was back at the academy after far too long, he was home! He set off from the branch of an elder oak and latched unto another, scaling it like a squirrel. It would have looked odd, this guy dressed in a rain-cloud-grey hoodie, a pair worn, black cotton pants and weathered sneakers, all in all someone who never looked to have been outside a major city, was jumping around acting like a modern Tarzan. But Grey loved nature, he always had. He had been able to speak with animals since he was a kid, a gift that had not faded away since his... conversion. Grey was a vampire, one who had been converted at the early stage of american settlement. A genuine, first-generation american, and one who had struggled tooth and nail to stop the invasion. He had failed, obviously
"WOOOO!" He cried as he lept again, the energies here making him feel better than he had in ages. He had not been this excited since he had first come here, and how sad he had been to leave, but now he was back again, in the only place he had ever really called home.
Then he heard something. His pointed ears twitched, he did not know what it was, but it sure as hell was not part of the woods. Leaping from tree to tree he made his way towards the disturbance. What he saw caused him to loose his grip on the branch his currently clinging onto, forcing him to twist like a cat in the air before landing on all four, soundlesly. Ok, just what the fuck...? In the little clearing Grey saw a young cat-girl, dancing to one of the strangest tunes. Normally Grey would just have tried to get as far away from the disturbance of the calm in the woods as he could, but tonight he was feelign a little more... sociable. Grey, nearly as a rule, hated humans, not the individuals but the race. They were so desperate to distance themselves from their own animality, only to use the worst of their instincts to find a drive in life. But some of the races here, especially those who had closer ties to nature, were different, and Grey was about to find out whether that also meant cat-people.
But he was going to tease her a bit first, he decided. It could only be fun. He slipped throughte shadows, reaching her musical contraption... thingy, and hit the button nearest to the 'on/off' that was written on it. Then he quickly slipped back into the shadows. He would keep doing this for a long good while, because he kenw it was a matter of tiem before she would catch him doing it. If she did nto, then she was probably too stupid to be worth talking too, but he would only find out one way

Myst smiled happily as she danced along to her music. It then stopped. She blinked and turned around. Her butterflys and lilys stopped moving and just floated around in the air. Her tail and ears twitched as she walked over to her boombox. She knelt down beside it and turned it back on. Her pale lavender eyes looking around. Maybe Robert had followed her and wants to mess with her. Well, next time he does it, he gets a water ball to the face. Myst thought. She stood back up, dusted off and went back to dancing, only to have her music turned off again. This time she had heard some slight sounds. She decided next time the culprit made move she would blast them.
So she turned her boombox back on for a second time. Her dancing resumed. Her tail and ears twitching as she swayed around. Her ears listening for the sound of the culprit. This time her ears caught something. She swung around as fast as she could and fired off a water ball just as her boombox was turned off. She set her hands on her hips and looked over at the shadow covered area.
"Alright Bobby, come on out."

Grey did not know why, but he was enjoying himself. He had never really taken any pleasure in teasing others, not before now. It was not as though he was being amlicious or anything, he was just acting playful. It felt good, he had not really tried that before, or if he had it had been a long time ago.
But the third time he snook in, as clsoe to soundlesly as he could come, he only just managed to press the button before he heard something whisteling towards him. He just managed to move his head out of the way of whatever projectile it was before it exploded against the tree next to his head, , his grey jumper soaking up several small drops of liquid. Shit He thouht as rolled back into the shadows, trying desperately to figure out what sort of poison he he could have been attacked with. When he found out, safely hidden back in the shadows of the trees, he began to laugh. For the first time in decades, it was not the scary, cold, joyless laughter that had heralded the end of at least another life, but a light-hearted, happy, some might even say childish, laughter.
He only laughed harder when she called out for 'Bobby' "I've been called many things in my life" He would say loudly, so she was sure to hear him. "But Bobby is not one of them. Don't worry, I mean you no harm, just having a bit of fun, you know" He climbed up a nearby tree with grace and skill rarely seen in humans, and leapt, somersaulting as he went through the air, landing next to the cat-girl and going "Buh!" berfore cartwheeling backwards. Tonight was such a wonderful night, and it would be waste to spend it on agrgevation and good manners. Well, good manners at least

Myst blinked as she heard her water ball hit a tree instead of its target. Then her target started laughing. That wasn't something Robert would have done. He would have started grumbling. It was a good thing that the laughter wasn't all that creepy. She was already weirded out enough. The person confirmed that it wasn't Robert. Her ears twitched following the slight sound of movement. Though she wasn't sure if it was coming or going. Soon enough the boy dropped down beside Myst making her jump in the air. Her tail stiff and her ears laying back against her head.
"WHAT THE HECK MAN!?"
She screamed. It was plain to see he had scared her. She clutched her chest breathing really fast, clearly over reacting. She calmed down and looked over at him. Her right eyebrow rose and she set her hands on her hips.
"What do you think you are doing? Scaring an innocent girl like me? What's wrong with you? If my bodyguard was here you would have been toast literaly! Geezus..."
She looked him over then looked up at the trees trying to find the location from which he dropped down from. She sighed softly and reached up with her hand running it over her face. She wondered who this guy was, jumping out of no where like that, messing with her sterio, scaring her beyond comprehension... She glanced back at her tail that still was rigid and grabbed ahold of it and began shaking it as if she were trying to choke the life back into it. Soon enough her tail went limp and then began twitching behind her. She reached up to her head and scratched at her ears as she stared at him. He was like some sort of puzzle to her.
"You are lucky I didn't drown you..."
Myst mumbled. She didn't like getting scared out of her mind.

"Awww, cheel, will you. It's not like anyone got hurt or anythin'. And about the drownin', that's somethin' different from luck. Le's just say that my kind don't drown easy"
So, she was not aura sensitive. Most people were not, but Grey had still met a fair share who were, and they had all known, sometiems before even looking at him, that he was a vampire. This young cat-girl had nothign to fear, however, Grey had already fed.
"Look, I'm sorry, I meant no harm. Just tricks 'n games, you know. I didn' mean to scare you like that. I was just out here, having a blast, and I though I'd share it with someone" He laughed abit to himself, scratching the back of his head "I guess that could've gone better, eh?"

His kind? Myst was a bit confused by that but assumed he meant he wasn't human. She didn't question any further though. He was definatly nothing like Robert. He said he was sorry and that he had meant no harm to her. She smirked.
"Well if you like tricks and games I have one for you then."
Myst said softly, her tail flicking around behind her playfully and a wicked little smirk crossing her lips. She raised her left hand that was covered in green and yellow glow braceletts. She flicked her wrist a little and the butterflies flew for Grey. Her other hand still at her side flicked a little as well and the water flowers also charged at him.
He would be hit at least once, so she would say they were even with that. Then she would smile at him.

Grey smiled when she said she had a little game for him in return, his long dead muscles tensing beneath the pallid skin, his fangs still hidden behind his lower lip. His eyes followed the play of a her tail for a few moments, thinking the little 'game' to come from there until the butterflies flew for him. Butterflies?! Well, it would be a decent way to train his dodging skills if nothing else.
He dodged them all, rolling to his left when there were simply too many of him to keep track on. Then came the water flowers, and Grey decided to try and block them instead. It all went well until one hit him in the face, two others being unhindered by his limbs as they hit his chest.
Grey had fallen unto his back and avoided the reamining flowers by doing so, but his jumper, that had only been damp up until now, was now soaked. Again he laughed, that same laughter that he had laughed while in among the trees, one of almost boyish joy "Ok, I gotta hand it to ya, those hit me pretty good" He was happy, happy that she was not mad at him and happy that she had chosen to play along. Perhaps there was even the potential for a friendship here? Well, he was not going to get ahead of himself.
He got up and made an unrewarded effort to dust himself off, as dusting off water was rather difficult. "So What are you doing out here? It's kinda late, and it's not as thouhg you couldn't be doing this in the city, is it now?" Grey had heard that type of music before, and he had seen people dance to it, but this was th first time heh ad seen anyone dance to it alone and out in the woods

Myst smirked at him as she crossed her arms over her chest. Was she proud of her self for taking such a sneaky tactic? Sure she was. Her tail still flicked around behind her as grey stood up. He tried to dust off but it was rather useless. Reaching out towards him she began pulling the water from his clothes. No use letting him catch cold. In her hand a small ball of water formed. She sent the ball of water over at a tree. It hit and Myst would turn her eyes back to the boy infront of her as he asked about why she dances alone.
"I would rather not be around with some of the girls who go to those dances. If you have ever watched close enough they end up humping anything in a 2 foot radius from them. I would prefer to not be the one they end up humping. Besides... If I am by my self I can listen to my favorite beats with out having to listen to the ones I don't like."
It was a lengthy explanation but it was the truth. Myst figured they should at least know each others name so she decided to speak first. Her hand would extend out to him as she spoke.
"My name is Myst."

"Yeeeaaaah" If vampires could blush, then GRey would have. Instead he just scratched a non-existant itch on the bakc of his head and diverted his eyes from the cat-girl raver. Such topics made him uncomfortable, for several reasons, not least because they reminded him of his upbringing, a topic he generally preffered to leave untouched.
When she offered her hand, and her name, Grey hesitated before taking it and shaking it in good manner. He had, one his hands, a pair of black, finger-less leather-gloves, but he would would still have to touch her hand with his, and that was the issue. Most people did not respond well to someone the same temperature as people long dead and buried. But he took it and shook it good manner "I'm Grey, happy to meet you Myst" He withdrew his hand slightly faster than what was neccesary, not wanting to prolong the contact, that was most likely unpleasant for her any.
"And I guess that you now know what I meant when I said 'my kind' " He offered her weak smile, half his fangs showing. "Don't worry, I've already fed. I don't go jumping people in the woods these days. One time I tried that, and some game-hunter damn near blew my head off" He chuckled a bit for himself, remembering what had happened first when the hunter saw that he had shot a person, then when that person had not stopped moving, but he decided not to share it with Myst. No point "And thanks for drying my jumper, by the way. It takes ages to dry when I'm about as warm as a witch's tit"
