Kegan moved, backing up and to the side, still being raked across his chest. It drew blood, and would have been much worse, save for the dodging. The jab came hard and fast, catching the lycan square over the fresh wound.
Kegan grabbed hold of the writs belonging to the hand that just stuck him. With his free hand, he punched straight out, aiming for the hunter's face. Once it connected, Kegan would let go of the wrist, allowing the force of his punch to knock Tristan back while Kegan went for the legs. He would crouch low, and strike the knees with the palms of his paws. Both knees, same time. This would, should it connect, drop the hunter, allowing Kegan to lock his fingers together and come down hard on Tristan back, driving him into the ground.
If by some chance the attacks were unsuccessfully, Kegan would just have to react to whatever was thrown at him. While in this state he would be able to withstand more punishment. But, one this fight were over, he would be completely drained. Upon returning to his human self, he would fall into a deep sleep, his body needing much rest to recover.

Tristan's blows had landed, but his jab was caught. Being angled as he was, the wolfs furred fist caught him dead in the forehead. As he was knocked back, he went with the momentum and flipped back, making a series of extremely quick back handsprings. He stopped a ways away to face the wolfs attack.
He hopped straight up, bending his knees as the palms came in. Neck hurting slightly from a bit of whiplash, he shot his feet down, nailing Kegan's forearms with the steel toes of his boots. It didn't have enough force, what with the hasty preparation, to break the bones, but it would hurt like hell. Tristan would land on his left foot and shoot up his right in a rising kick that would be ignited with Tristan's fire punch spell. There wouldn't be enough time of impact for it to sear the flesh, but it would add to the pain.

He pulled his hands back, a howl of pain escaping his jaw. As he did so the scorching kick was delivered to his face, sending him to his back a few feet away. He was dazed and in pain. He paws and arms weren't broken, and neither was his face. But, the attacks were true and they landed solid. Kegan hadn't put much of a dent in his opponent. If this were a fight to the death, he would have pushed. However, this was a spar among teammates, and so he was willing to concede.
He knew he was beaten. He looked to Tristan. "Your good. It has been a while since I fought someone with your strength or skill. I know I'm beat. Looks like I need to get stronger before I challenge you again." His voice came out as a growl, but it was clear. He shifted forms, returning to his human state. He was on his knees, and as soon as the transformation was complete, he fell forward, his energy drained.

Tristan stood ready, waiting for another attack despite the short remaining time on his double time spell. Luckily enough for him it improved his eyes enough to cope with the speed or he could have been nailed with that last attack. He pulled what was left of his chakra back into his core and extinguished his spell. Satisfied with the result of the fight, he plopped down, both arms throbbing.
"Heh...thats what you get in my profession." Is what he said in responce to the wolf who was falling forward. "Remind me to not use that Tarenken too often." He finished, seeing that he could no longer support his own weight on his hands now that his adrenaline had been drained. Igneus flew down, growing to full height, and pulled the hunter and the lycan onto his back. The huge black dragon took of from the clearing and to a clear area near the academy where Tristan could stumble his way, with Kegan, into the medical ward to rest and get something for his arms.
