The hunter felt what little energy he'd used returning, he also felt the boys energy beginning to over-whelm Tristan's energy core as he couldn't absorb too much energy past his maximum. He could take a little bit but past that he would start to feel pain, then even greater pain until he passed out from it. At that point seoligna would be dispell itself and Tristan would leak pure mana until his energy levels restored to their normacy.
To prevent this from happening, Tristan, just before he even saw his opponents fist coming at him, called up his magic to ignites his hands, and send a massive stream of orange and yellow flame flying straight into his opponent. Holding the boy tight, Tristan's magic would roast the boy on both fronts, and this alone would keep the hunters energy from going over its maximum and bringing forth the backlash that was over absorbtion from his soulfire ability.

Warning Mr. Knightrode, this is a warning. I've read this thread and feel it's a tad one sided. First off while Price is taking hits, getting into pain and so forth the most I've seen you get is a 'twinge' of pain. And while some of the attacks were stopped and not injuring you within reason some of them are a bir far fetched. For instance the cut of his fingers just under Tristan's adam's apple that you didn't feel, no damage no nothing was not something I can see as feasible. His str and dex are both higher than yours and it would have hurt. In my opinion causing you to step back, choke, loosen grip or something. It seems a tad unfair nothing happened at all. This is merely a warning. But please remember that while your character may not be human he does have weaknesses against a stronger character and some attacks will land and others will land AND hurt. You cannot fight a hand to hand battle with no pain. So please, watch yourself. Thank you.

(Short, but, well, I'm not really doing anything that wasn't already stated in previous posts.)
Despite Tristan's flame attack, Price's flying fist was still going to come, and even burning hands on the account of the bigger man was not going to stop it. Price's hand came forward, and, ignoring the searing pain, because he knew it would be over soon, Price continued through with the attack, his fist striking Tristan directly on the chin as his point blank Chi blast was shot forth, giving his punch the feel as if it had been given by someone with the strength of ten men.
With no chance of blocking or dodging from this distance, Tristan would take the hit directly on the chin, in what could amount to nothing less than a knockout blow to even the most stalwart of men. Price, however, would not be much better off, left gasping, burn marks on his clothes and skin from the few quick moments Tristan's fire had roasted him.

The punch came in and nailed hard. The soulfire took a good chunk of the energy directly from the fist, but it wasn't enough to not send the hunter for a loop. His grip was forced off of the boys throat, probably causing a bit more pain as metal raking across your skin wouldn't be pleasant. Tristan flew a couple of yards away and slowly stood. "Fuck that hurt." He said after moving his jaw abit.
It hurt like hell and Tristans magic would wear off before it could fully heal. He finished standing and stood for a moment, letting that shot heal some so that the pain wouldn't be hindering. The grass beneath his feet died and withered away as Tristans spell absorbed all life from them. Another couple of seconds later the spell began to die down. It was unfortunate but Tristan would have to deal with what little had actually healed.
He shot forward once again, this time tapping into chakra. His body sped up to double its original speed and the hunter came in with avengance. A quick right hook would be the first attack, but Tristan's body would spin around, shooting his left foot out to nail his opponent in the lower ribs, possibly his head if he ducked under the punch. His head pounded with the quick motion but it would be needed to win.

Double-speed or not, Tristan still had a ways to go before he managed to reach Price, and Price used all of this time to set up his own plan of action.
Tristan would rush forth, but he wouldn't even get a chance for his combo to hit, as once he got close enough, Price took to the air, quickly channeling the Chi around him in a chi-assisted leap. Bounding up, Price performed a mid-air, hands free cartwheel, otherwise known as an aerial, bringing him down behind Tristan, while still facing him. Tristan, meanwhile, would be spinning around from his initial punch, which Price had leapt over in order to dodge.
As such, Tristan would come face-to-face with Price, now on the other side of him, and with his mind set on the attack, and his body set in the spin, not to mention the double-time spell making everything go that much faster, he would have no time whatsoever to avoid the right elbow that was swinging in to catch the slightly taller man across his cheek, which, the swing itself coupled with Tristan's own spin into it would nearly double the force, which would cause a massive amount of pain to the man's face, and likely break something.

There was a tiny little hitch with Price's plan. That spinning maneuver was for a kick, and a relatively elongated kick at that. The boy's elbow wouldn't go where intended, as Tristan's head was lower than it should have been, having his body leaned into that kick. Instead, the elbow nailed the hunter right in the forehead, just infront of the temple. Now with that positioning, the corner of the bone of Tristan's skull, would nail right into his opponents funny bone. Now why they called it that, was not because it was funny when you hit it but that it was connected to the upper arm bone, named the humorous ((sp?)).
It was far from funny to hit. Hell it down right hurt. And so did Tristan's head. That shot, combined with the pulse of pain from the chi-enhanced hook from before, made the hunter see stars. He straightened out, and stumbled for a second, before regaining his barings and made a low spin. Delving into capoeira, Tristan put his hands to the ground and spun his left foot around in a quick arc to crash into his opponents ribs, or elbow depending on his positioning.
At this point, There was a chance Tristan would loose, unless of course he could hold out until his spirit element could be used again in the form of his Seoligna spell, and heal the damage done. There was something about double time that still needed to be adressed. From what Tristan had observed within himself, the Chakra was going to his optic nerves as well, slightly improving his perception. He'd have to work on that.
