Igneus didn't know if he hit the demon or not, he wasn't paying attention. All he knew right now was that he needed more room...and lots of it. Five trees went down. Weighing more than an eighteen wheeler had its advantages. More tail whips as the demon transported himself near the dragon. There was a relatively small, but fairly intense singing sensation on Igneus' side as his tail went one way.
The dragon whipped his head around, using his tail for counteracting momentum to move more easily. Another head butt would nail the demon if he didn't move. Where ever the little basterd went, the huge beast would shoot off fire balls. Intense blasts would be released from his mouth left and right, at least ten, no matter where the demon moved, Igneus would listen and follow.
This was beginning to get annoyingly long, and it would need to end soon. Surprisingly, the lightning whip hadn't hurt that much, not as much as one might expect lightning to hurt any way.

Raiden quickly retreated after the whip was uneffective on the dragon's hide. Raiden pulled back far enough out of the dragon's reach. At least to a cluster of trees still standing up right.
As he stood on a branch of a tree Raiden needed to think right quick. He needed to find a way on how to quickly cause this dragon a huge amount of damage in a small amount of time. Raiden while in that cluster kept moving behind several trees as fireballs flew from every which way. He watched a tree burst into flamed beside him.
As soon as that happened...he got an idea. The large pile of trees that were around the dragon...the tree sap was leaking out of quite a few off them. Tree sap heats up considerably and explodes when struck by lightning. The coarse tree shards and debris would fly every which way.
Now, all he needed was an ignition. The best ignition for this plan was to use his more explosive attack called Raigou. Raiden quickly rubbed his hand together and slowly pulled them a part to form a giant ball. A ball as large as a monster truck tire. Raiden leaped out from the tree tops towards the destroyed area with the trees scatter about. With wasting no time Raiden threw the giant ball not at the dragon but the tree below it. Not only would there be a likely 50 foot radial explosion, but shard of wood would be flying every where.

Igneus, having ceased his fire ball tirade, spotted his opponent high in the air, forming a fairly devistating attack. I'm gonna have to end this, just knock him out. Ok, Gloves off. The kiddy gloves had left ages ago, but now it was time to go bare knuckle on this lightning demon. Igneus fired one massive ball of fire slightly ahead of the opposition as it lept from the tree with a huge lightning ball in hand.
It would connect just as he released the ball to devsitate the land scape, possibly, though not highly likely, annihilating the attack all together. It would most likely loose a bit of power, but that wasn't the goal. When the demon passed through that last fireball, Igneus would no longer be there, instead, the dragon would be right above him, wings spread, delivering a full force swipe with his foot. This attack could do some severe damage, claw wise, but it wasn't meant to. It was basically a mid-air stomp, where the demon couldn't possibly see it coming.
The force of the shot would slam him into the ground with an insane ammount of force, hopefully knocking him out, and ending the fight. Igneus hadn't used too much mana, but he was getting tired, no doubt the demon was as well.

Raiden as soon as he took flight saw the next incoming fire ball. Raiden knew if he tried now the strength of his Raigou would be weakened. So without wanting to waste his energy like that Raiden ceased the attack in that instant. At best to retracted the spent electricity back into his body so it wouldn't be wasted like that.
With that said and done...there was the matter of the fire ball. Raiden couldn't move or substitute with out an concrete item. So Raiden took on the blast full on. He hand some immunity to fire still, so minor damage was done. Raiden was at his peak in the force of his jump so now it was time to fall back down to Earth. Unfortunately the dragon was already up there as well. With no where to go Raiden could only think of taking the kick head on as well. The kick would be uneffective thanks to it being in the blunt attack range, but combined with the force of hitting the ground...it would do some damage.
Raiden had to change this quickly or its light out. With out wasting any time Raiden called out some energy again. As soon as the foot connected substitution again, but this time with the opponent its self. If that went through Raiden would target his reappearance over head the dragon like it did so to Raiden. Without wasting no more than three seconds Raiden would pull out another explosive Raigou at Lvl 2.
I can't keep this up...
Raiden hoped this at least connected...because he's running out of steam.

Satisfied that he'd connected and sent his opponent into the ground, he eased up for a moment. Mistake. What the fuck? Igneus was on the ground again. He half folded his wings so that they could be deployed or fully retracted at any time. It was a damn good thing he took out those trees, other wise he wouldn't have had any room.
He looked up to where he just was, and saw the demon. How the hell they switched places like that, he didn't know. Moments later, another lightning ball. This guy never takes a break.... Igneus, this time, didn't waste his energy in hurling a fire ball, instead, he waited until Raiboy passed the ball infront of his line of sight, throwing it. Igneus then used the last of his teleportation ability to put him just above the demon, once again.
This time, the demon had already thrown the ball, and he couldn't re-absorb the energy, lessening his drain. The attack on the dragons part was different this time, however. His head was harder than his foot, and since he wasn't using the claws, as that would kill the poor basterd, a high power, high speed head butt would do some serious damage. Blunt or not, Igneus' massive dome swinging down and nailing you on the back full force, would do a good bit of damage, not to mention he would be slammed into the dirt...again.
The dragon would then hover there with slow beats of his enourmous wings, waiting for the next attack, be it another transition into another cycle like this, or something els.

Raiden at that point of so release the Raigou he was holding. As soon as he did so he found the dragon over head again. "Damn, bastard stay down dammit!!" he shouted. Those frustrated words escaped Raiden's mouth as he was struck by the blunt force of the dragon's head.
Now for the ground...
Raiden wasn't going to let that happen though, not today! Raiden remembered he hand no logs or anything else in that matter to grab onto but...there was always his sword... It wasn't really a good idea to throw away his sword, but he would do it to escape the danger. Especially the large force of his Raigou striking the ground. In fact it was on a collision course with the pile a tree from before. Raiden was right behind his own attack thanks to the dragon. As soon at impact occurs Raiden would then subsitute with his katana. It would be hard for anyone to tell then if Raiden escaped or not.
The explosion of the Raigou and the tree would be large heaving sharp shards and chunks of wood left and right. Not to mention with lightning balled up like that the explosion would also induce a rather large flare almost imparing vision. The dragon being so close in range would hopefully be struck by all of this. Raiden in fact wanted to make sure the attack stuck.
Raiden put all he hand into his next jump maybe heaving him self up over the dragon. Maybe more than a 50 foot gap in between them while air born. Then with an attack on a lesser but effective scale would by an open-palmed lightning blast. With the equivlent of a shotgun its force and range would be good enough to force the dragon if not be struck period thanks to the dragon's low resistance compare to the environment. This would all happen after the giant flare and sound barrier breaking explosion. Raiden doubted the dragon would see this coming, but he would just have to wait and see.

Igneus watched his opponent go flying toward the dirt, but closed his eyes and drew in his wings, as well as the rest of his body, into a protective ball. The lightning ball impacted the ground and the dragon wasn't taking any chances on unneccecery damage. He began decending, though the shock wave from the lightning ball had him going relatively slow. Igneus was good fifty feet in the air, but the top of him was closer to seventy with how big he was.
Then another force, more lightning, or so said the fairly intense shocking sensation he felt in his back. Sneaky basterd got up there somehow. The attack hadn't done too much damage...which was surprising. It was clear now that Igneus had a fairly strong resistance to lighting now...he'd have to look into this later, but for now...the ground.
Igneus had the same predicament that the demon had, only he had a much simpler way of handling it....
Crashing into the ground.
His massive girth and durable body would be fine with that fall as his back spikes dug into the ground and his multi ton weight crashed through another tall pine. Igneus didn't know where the little basterd was, but judging by the location of where he was hit by that lightning strike, the tree which was now toppling over should nail him head on.
The only determining factor in that plan was how far away the demon was when he attacked. The tree was only so tall. That height being around sixty foot. Igneus would unfurl himself and get up, almost effortlessly rolling the tree off his massive body. Hed look around for the demon, reaching out mentally to see if he could feel for the lightning mage. It may or may not work. It was a matter of range and whether Igneus' psychic fortitude was enough to pick up on him.
