Jason hissed in pain but kept going flying past his weapon. Apparently his beams had missed. Fine he wants to keep me from the weapon thats his problem. I was going to make it a little more even for him. He thought and grinned past the pain. he didn't need his arms and legs for all his moves though he was strining himself to keep his legs strait.
He looked at Eyvindr and that was all he needed. Twin beams shot from his eyes. They were similar to his first blast attack but more narrow. The difference was that it wouldn't be as easy to dodge as it hit wwhat Jason was looking at. And unless Eyvinder could run fast enough which Jason doubted unless the man could become a blur. The beams would strike him forcing him back and burning him horribly. Even if Eyvindr started running his chances were slim. jason had fiv seconds to use the beam and as soon as the gap was closed all he had to do was focus his gaze at Eyvinder. You wanna keep me from using my sword. Fine now you'll see that was a bad move. He thought. He now had to grit his teeth from the pain of the needles. it had become an energy battle. Eyvinder would soon find Jason was now in his element here.

Ah, yes. Solid hits. Great things. Jason was, however, still floating. Most likely because he couldn't stand normally at the moment. And now Eyvindr was receiving a stare. About five seconds later, he learned two things: 1) Why Jason was staring at him, and 2) NEVER let a mage simply sit for even a moment.
Well, now he had two beams to deal with. Before he dealt with them, he sent the twenty or so needles that were 'poised' flying toward Jason's limbs, and let natural forces do the rest. He then tried to bring all four daggers up, place them in 'X'es over his hands, and block the beams. He didn't have time. Instead, he used his hands without the daggers. It wasn't pleasant. Now he likely had third degree burns on his palms, which had been sent flying backward with tremendous force, smacked his chest, and despite Eyvindr having braced himself against the ground in anticipation of impact, made him stumble backward. He barely avoided falling over.
Eyvindr would observe Jason's response to all this before acting again.

Seeing the needles flying at him Jason changed course headin up letting the needle's fly under him. Having to block the beams he doubted Eyvidr could make them shift course to hit him. Jason hit the ground though but painfull got up. He was able to rais his hand with effort. "So want to call this a draw. Because at this rate one of us is going to get seriously hurt.' he said giving a small smile through the pain. he was given a challenge and he loved it. He could keep going for a little bit more but he'd rather keep both of them from being seriously damaged. But if Evyindr wanted this to contine he'd find jason ready. He had taken worse damage when fighting Chephros.

Well, a successful dodge. Grump. And after that... Jason landed? Stood up? And raised his arms? Wow. That was unexpected, not only because it was undoubtedly extremely hard on him, but also because it looked like a surrender. He also looked like he was speaking. Eyvindr made a contact.
"-us is going to get seriously hurt."
That was either a partial sentence, or a whole one, most likely following another, with REALLY bad grammar. The first seemed more likely. So he would have to question for the beginning of it. And also note something else...
"You seem to be forgetting something. Now, could you please repeat that?"

"My apologies. Forgot during the fight. I am offering a draw. It seems we can both go on. But this isn't a battle for keeps. I don't want it getting out of hand. He said letting his mana focus to his hand. he was clearly ready to continue of Eyvindr decided to turn down the offer. He still had the small smile. "You're pretty damn good. I haven't had a real challenge besides one person so far. Well not counting the person who wiped the floor with me."

"Why thank you. I'm almost curious as to who wiped the floor with you: it would be no mean feat. You're quite good yourself. Oh, and I would accept a draw gladly."
His daggers, which had been lying at his feet a moment earlier, lifted themselves and rested in their normal places. The hundred or so needles embedded in various places in the ground removed themselves, and hovered over to Eyvindr's feet, then up into his pouches, aligning themselves nicely. Eyvindr didn't look it, but he was actually fairly exhausted. Telekinesis was hard work, especially with many objects.
"So, since I don't know where we might get a bit of medical assistance... would you lead the way?"

Jason smiled and lowered his arm. "Her name is Zaire. She's a summoner. You'll probably meet her at some point. And yeah I'll show you where we need to go. Need to get these needle wounds fixed." he said and not able to walk without pain he used his mana to create low propuslion from his feet to hover and motioned for Eyvindr to follow him as he led the guy up to the med wing.
