Consenquences (Corsair)

[Midori]

Midori now lay bleeding on the floor as she clutched her throat. Her eyes pleading with the man above her to help her. She could barely breathe as evident by the gasping and ragged sounds coming from the young green headed girl.

Her blood from her shoulder and from between her fingers leaked all over the floor beneath her. Her eyes pleaded and her body writhed in pain. The cut to her neck was more than a nick. It was a cut and it was bleeding badly. She continued to put pressure on it trying to stop it but she knew she was going to need medical attention.

She couldn't concentrate on anything. Her eyes were beginning to black out and her body was limping slightly. She was losing touch with reality. All she could do was close her eyes and pray to Mother Forest.

[Corsair]

Corsair's armour had dissapeared and he scooped the young faerie into his arms.
"Calm down Midori we're going to get help." He said as he took Midori out of the room and headed to find a nurse or someone.
"Just hang on I've got you. It's Corsair I'm here." He kept telling her trying to keep her mind on him and not her wounds. He found who he was looking for and they took Midori from him and took her to a room.

One Hour later....
"You can see her now. Are you sure you don't want to get cleaned up?" Asked the healer who had just come from Midori's room. Corsair had been sitting there the entire time with his face in his hands that were soaked with his girlfriend's blood. He took a small towle offered to him and wiped his face clean and walked into the room. He saw Midori laying on a bed. The wounds had been closed but they were not fully healed.

Corsair walked over to the bed and grasped one of Midori's hands in both of his noticeing she was pale in a rather scary way. He looked up at her face hoping to see the emerald stare he had come to look forward to.
"Midori......?" He said softly.

[Midori]

Midori could do nothing but concentrate on the man carrying her. His voice was her last hold on reality. It was hard to concentrate but she willed herself to do it. His arms around her tightly as his voice spoke to her. Small crystalline tears leaked out of her eyes as he carried her to a waiting healer.

In the room they rushed Corsair out and began to work on the girl that was lying in the bed. It was a long process but the blood flow was stopped immediatly. But that didn't stop the fact that she had been greatly effected by the amount lost before Corsair had gotten her to someone.

An hour later she heard the sound of Corsair's voice. His hand took hers and her eyes opened very slowly. They were heavy with exhaustian and her skin was paler than normal.

"...Cor..." she croaked softly.

Her wounds were indeed healed now. But they were scars that would go away in time. Her hand weakly held his as her eyes closed again. She was tired so very tired but she needed to be awake for Corsair.

"..Cor... could you.. would it be... too forward to ask... " she whispered in the softest voice. ".. maybe you could.. lay with me.." she finished her hand still holding his.

[Corsair]

Corsair nodded.
"Yes if you like I can do that for you." He said and took off his shoes then gently picked Midori up setting her to one side of the bed then climbed in next to her and put his arms around her.
"Midori if you need to sleep don't force yourself to be awake. You're here to rest and recover. I'll be here the whole time." he said

[Midori]

She smiled very weekly as he told her he would lay next to her. She felt him pick her up and moved her to one side of the bed. The bed moved slightly under the weight he added to it. His arms moved around her body and she relaxed.

Weakly she turned over. Facing him now she kissed his lips very gently before she settled back down. Nuzzling up into his chest as he kept his arms around her and one of her arms went around his waist.

"Thank.. you." she whispered before she surrendered her body to sleep and began to slumber. Her breathing deep and regular her body limp and relaxed in his hold.

[Corsair]

Corsair watched Midori sleep and had a small smile on his face. She was alrught now and recovering well. She seemed so frail at the moment wich was odd to him as she always radiated a sense of inner strength. Seeing her act so...Dependant on him was a new feeling. None of the girls he had been with were like that. He found it something he liked as it help to make them ckoser. Or at least it sememed that way.

As Corsair lay there next to the Faerie he started gently running his fingers through her hair and brushed her cheek gently as she lay in a peaceful slumber. His fingers ran over Midori's ear a few times and he looked down at the young woman who had her head pressed against his chest. He wondered if she was awake. He wanted to know what happend before he had intervened. he was glad he did as he could have lost Midori forever.

[Midori]

Midori woke an hour later. Magic and sleep had healed her most of the way. Except for the scars she was mainly fine. She opened her eyes and felt Corsair running his hand over her face and hair. Her emerald eyes looked up into his face and a smile crossed her face.

"Thank you so very much for being here for me." she said softly as she reached up and kissed him gently.

She cupped his cheek as she kissed him and even deepened the kiss slightly. She was so thankful for him coming. She shuddered to think about what would have happened had he not come.

[Corsair]

Corsair smiled seeing the emerald stare he had come to love seeing.
"I'm glad I made it in time as well. Midori what happened? I nearly lost you and that scared the hell out of me. Why was who or whatever that thing was attacking you. There had to be a reason." He said still holding her gently.

[Midori]

She sighed and nodded. She didn't really want to remember what had happened but Cor deserved to know and it wasn't like she was afraid to tell him.

"I was here to see if anyone wanted healing or just help. I saw that he had fallen out of his bed and came over to help him. But I saw him bleeding and so I summoned Luna. She healed him and so I dismissed her. He asked me for his medical report and I gave it to him. But I think he was trying to scare me and so he transformed his hand into this strange claw."

She began to explain as she reached up and stroked his cheek very gently with the back of her upper fingers.

"I was curious it was so interesting so I touched it. And he got mad I think maybe because I was curious and not running. So he transformed fully. I gave him a piece of my mind after dodging his first attack. And then he attacked me again and he didn't miss. You came in right after that." she said softly.

[Corsair]

"So it's a student here, A teacher wouldn't have had to retreat. Whois he. What is his name?" He asked with suddenly narrow eyes. He wanted to know who had hurt Midori like this. He didn't know if he would seek revenge or not. But he was pretty sure it was. Even if Midori hadn't been the one he saved he would have to go after this person. Such actions were not excusable in Corsair's mind. Attacking a person for wanting to help you and not being scared of them.

[Midori]

Midori moved in closer to Corsair. Her eyes closed again and she nuzzled into his sweet muscular chest. Her hand around him stroked his back gently.

"I think is name was.. Varren.. Varon.. no.. Varys. Yes that was it." she said softly with a shudder.

That had definatly been an eye opener. She would always think twice now before she jumped right into trying to protect or help someone. She didn't want to think that way but she had come close to bleeding to death just because she was trying to help him.

[Corsair]

"Varys..." Corsair muttered as his eyes narrowed for a second.
He'll pay for this. I'm not sure how much. but he'll pay He thought. But his mind was soon of of the matter as he looked back down at Midori. A smile spread across his face and he stroked her cheel..

[Midori]

Midori looked up into Corsair's eyes and she couldn't help but smile. She scooted up so that she was face to face with him and ran her hand through his soft brown hair. She leaned in and kissed him so very softly. Letting her feelings show as she let the kiss linger on his soft lips. Several moments she held it and pulled back her eyes opened.

"Thank you, for coming to save me. I'll never be able to thank you enough." she whispered softly.

[Corsair]

"Don't worry. Just letting me be with you like this is more then paying be back. You don't owe me anything. I don't like the thought ofanyone beingin such a position as you were in. Much less a person I have feelings for. What kind of person would I be if I had ignored what had happened?" he asked

[Midori]

She could only smile at those sweet words having not expected them. That was the thing about Corsair. He was not only sweet but knew when to say the sweetest and most romantic things in the world to her. He could make her smile easily.

"Why were you in the hospital wing today, Corsair?" she asked softly stroking his cheek with her thumb lightly as her eyes stared directly into his.
