Recovery

[Steve]

Steve slowly opened his eyes, looking around trying to get his bearings straight. Trying to remember, he focused on his thoughts, feeling slight exhaustion. Then it hit him, as he remembered seeing a few people, one using bow and arrows shooting at someone else and the use of magic. A panic rose up within him and he reacted, albeit it wasn't the best reaction. Shaking his head, Steven looked around the room to see where he was. The walls were entirely while, with only a single bed in the room. To the far left corner was a brown door, with a few unused machines and poles to the left by him. The sheets themselves were blue, and there was one chair near the bed. To the right there was a window with a view to the mountains.

"Hmmm...seems I'm stuck in the recovery wing again. I must've done something that caused this to happen...but...who brought me here?" Steve says aloud to himself, rubbing his forehead as he started recovering his stamina. For now, he looked off to the window, adjusting himself to sit up more comfortably.

[Keiko Nihara]

Keiko bounced litterally down the halls of the recovery wing. Her red hair was short and bounced along with her as she hummed and danced her way through the supposedly quiet wing. Yet she wasn't being quiet. Nope. That wasn't Keiko you didn't send the hyper girl to the recovery wing and expect her to be quiet.

Stupid teacher.

'Do something productive with your energy.'

Pft.

She wore one of the cutest candy striper outfits she could find. The red and white lines went down the little apron and her short red skirt with white tshirt made the outfit even better. A green light over someones door lit up meaning they were awake.

YAY FOR VISITING HOURS!!!

She opened the door.

"Ta da!!!! Visitors have arrived!" she exclaimed happily as she threw a cinnamon candy at him effectively hitting him in the head. She laughed.

"Oopsy! My aim was a trifle off. But no biggie!"

[Steve]

Looking over to see this cute girl exclaim happily, he was caught off guard by the piece of candy that hit him on the forehead. Rubbing his forehead, he took it off and set it on his lap for now. Looking over the girl, he noticed her figure, mentally taking note at least how cute she looked. "Hey there...heh, thanks for visiting I guess?" Steve says, smiling a little at her.

"If you want...you can sit down and stay awhile, and whats your name?" Steve asks in one full sentence pointing over to the nearby chair. Within 5 seconds, this girl had caught his interest wholeheartedly. Adjusting himself, he noticed his black denim jacket was hung up, but at least his shirt and jeans were still in place. Thank god, I hate those hospital gowns.

Watching her, he unwrapped the piece of candy and popped it into his mouth, his smile getting wider as he liked the piece of candy.

[Keiko Nihara]

Keiko chuckled as she walked over with determination and plopped right down in the chair he pointed at. Her red hair seemed to flare a bit as she did so. Pulling her legs up into the chair she sat in an indian style firmly hiding anything that could have been seen as such with her apron.

"My name is Keiko. Keiko Nihara. And you are Steve. My powers of the mind are great and vast. It seems you passed out in the hallway. Shame shame. You should really do that in your room silly!" she giggled cutely as her silver blue eyes squinted slightly

He seemed to like the candy she had beamed him with. Ahhh it's always tastier when it leaves a bruise!! She chuckled softly and looked around the room.

"My goodness! It sure is boring in here. Aren't you bored? I'm bored? Look white walls. That sucks couldn't they have at least put some color up there. I mean really!" she said with a bright smile as she returned her attention back to Steve.

[Steve]

"Keiko huh? Cute name for a cute girl!" Steve says, chewing the candy and finishing it. "What, you have mind powers? Then who got me here?" Steve asks, looking around at the room as she rapidly spoke. A warm smile appeared on his face as he looked back at her. He chuckled at the amount of energy this girl had, something he wish he had or could at least control when using his power.

"Yeah, but what can you do, this is the recovery wing, but at least there's someone nice to talk to, so I'm not really that bored. Long as I don't freak out again or panic or something," Steve continues, his smile not wavering.

[Keiko Nihara]

Yay!!! I'm cute!

Keiko chuckled as he actually believed she had mental power. I mean come on people did she really look all powerful? Hell no! She looked like the one you wanted to cuddle up next to for all her cuteness like a giant red headed teddy bear. Woo hoo teddy bears rock!

"I don't have mind powers!" she laughed hard as her eyes closed and she smiled. Giving him a wink when she finally finished laughing she sat back in her chair.

"Plus those are LAME powers. I want something cool. Like this.." she got up and went to the foot of the bed and bowed to her invisible enemy.

"Whaaaaaa!" she said as she took her fake Kung Fu stance. She began with noises included to beat up her invisible opponent.

"Your skills are no match for me!?" she cried out as she dealt the finishing blow with a flare of her skirt. Bowing to his now downed invisible body she chuckled.

"Bwhahaha, mad skills, I have!" she laughed as she plopped back down into her chair.

[Steve]

He chuckled at her performance, sitting up and watching her amused. As she finished, he caught a brief glimpse of her panties, blushing slightly. Shaking it off, he smiled at her cuteness increasing more and more. "I don't know what's cuter, you or your panties," Steve said, the blush reappearing but the smile was still there.

"So what power do you really have?" Steve asks, curiosity getting to him as he looked at Keiko. She had to have something, but either way, this was quite entertaining and nice to talk to someone, and it was fun too.

She chuckled and blushed slightly. She tilted herself a bit on her side and pulled her skirt up just a bit so that he could see the very side of her panties.

"Look it, they have froggies on them!" she said with a bright and happy smile.

Smoothing her skirt down again she went back into her indian style mode. So he thought she was cute. Well she either got that or annoying but cute at least didn't come tagged with a negative connotation. He asked her what kind of magic she had and she grinned. Grabbing a blank sheet of paper from the back of his chart she tossed it up in the air.

For a moment it would fall back to the ground as she yawned in that cocky fun manner and winked at her buddy. Quickly the paper began to contort it'self folding in MIDAIR!! Folding the long paper into the origami form of a dragon. Then the dragon began to fly about the room it's wings zoomed out allowing it to glide. Letting the mana drop the dragon glided into Steve's lap.

"There!" she said excitedly.

[Steve]

He saw the side of her panties with the frog patterns. He blushed even more now, being able to see her entire leg. Shaking it off, he took a look at the paper, and watched it form into a dragon. He was quite amused as he watched it glide onto his lap. "Wow, you can manipulate paper? That's cool!" Steve says, looking back over to her.

"I really like it...and I think I was wrong, both you and your panties are equally cute! So thats REALLY cute!" Steve exclaims, blushing as he said it but still looked at her, smiling sweetly.

Yep, he was glad now that Keiko arrived here. She was indeed a very nice and sweet girl.

Keiko smiled brightly as he told her that her powers were cool. Was there any doubt? Hell no, Keiko knew she was the bomb else she wouldn't be at the snazzified academy. He commented on her panties and she chuckled a bit of red coming to her face.

"Why thank you!"

"So what kinda crazy personified ultra cool mega-man esque power do you have Stevey?" she asked leaning forward.

Her silver/blue eyes like icicles seemed to brighten and light up as she wondered what kind of crazy cool powers he would have. Maybe he was a ninja. No that was too cool. Maybe he was a one of those peeps that called up the dead!? No... way too cool. Lets think something less cool... mmmmmm fire breather! Yeah.. firebreathers.

[Steve]

"Well, its not ultra cool but here," Steve says, taking a nearby pen and started to slowly make it glow red in his hands, like it was on fire. Watching her reaction, he made sure not to ruin the paper dragon as he cooled it down till it seemed to be nearly ice before returning it to normal temperatures. Adjusting the properties once more, he solidified it as the pen itself became more durable, unable to even click anymore. Steve reverted it back to normal and smiled a little.

"I have a few more tricks, but one requires a sword and makes it sharper, while the other two well...I'd end up back here again," Steven says, chuckling slightly and also embarrassed. It was the first time he showed anyone what he could do, as he wondered at her reaction.

[Keiko Nihara]

Keiko watched in amazement as her eyes grew wide. First it glowed red like it was hot and she almost wanted to touch it. Then it got all cold like at that too was totally touchable. But then he made is durable so nothing could happen to it and then returned it to normal.

"Wooooooooooow!" she exclaimed.

She picked up the pen and clicked it. IT CLICKED! That was just neat.

"You can do stuff with stuff!" she said her silver blue eyes looked up at him as she sat the pen back down. "So how come you're in here anyway? You don't look sick? Are you mentally sick or are you just faking? I know! You're skipping classes! How nifty is that?! We're like secret agents under cover to skip all the arcane classes in the world. We should have a theme song!"

"Dunna nuh nuh dunna a nuna." she began making her own song as she got up and moved to her own rythum. "Duna duna duna dunadunadunaduan DUUUUUUNNNNN!!"

"Pow!" she whispered as she pointed her finger like a gun at the window.

[Steve]

He chuckled at her thoughts of skipping class, still smiling, but shaking his head. "Actually its because I used one of my two draining powers. I have a speed and strength boost too, but they physically drain my stamina to the point of passing out. So I can't use them, unless I panic and accidentally use one," Steve says, still smiling. A slight blush grew back on his face as he patted on the side of his bed, indicating he wanted her to sit down on the bed at least.

"You're the first I showed this to, thanks. I'm glad you liked it," Steve says sincerely, embarrassed at his comment as he looked away.

[Keiko Nihara]

She saw the pat and nodded hopping up on the bed she plopped down facing him as one of her legs hung off the side and the other was bent at the knee and folded in front of her. He was blushing and she cocked her head to one side.

"How come you're blushing? There is no reason. I mean so you fainted. Get stronger. That's the only solution." she said with a bright smile and shrug.

She snapped her fingers and dug into her little purse that was always at her side. Pulling out a myriad of red and black papers she grinned.

"Somehow I"m getting jipped her being the entertainer. So guess what?! You get to entertain me now! Yay!" she clapped her hands and the paper began forming into different things. A blur of movement of black and red until...

"TA DA! Checkers!!" she giggled as she had the red side and made her first move with her little paper piece that was pretty close to what a checker piece looked like. She clapped her hands as the board floated in the air waiting for him to make his move.

[Steve]

"Thats not why I'm blushing..." Steve says, before seeing her produce some paper and make a checkers board. He cringed inwardly, knowing he wasn't very good at the game. Moving a black piece, he watched her as he did his move. She was quite peculiar, but it was refreshing. She was enjoyable and fun to be with, as he smiled softly, looking up at her and at how she sat. He moved closer so that the board would be closer to both of them now.

He waited for her move as he kept his eyes on her. She was definitely cute, that was for sure, and her personality just made it even cuter.
