Phae lay down on her side now watching the blonde and the demony lookin' guy talk to each other. She wanted to go back to her room but the healers wouldn't let her. Blacky could get them to, she was sure of it. But he wasn't here right now and she had to wait. Maybe they werne't letting visitors into the room she wasn't sure and so she was just having to wait it out being miserable. She nuzzled into her pillow softly letting Jason and the boy that had not named himself yet talk and then Jason came back. He sat beside her and her blue eyes looked at him. She was tired for one but she again... didn't sleep well without Blacky it was just how it was these days.
"Don't.. leave me alone." she whispered. "All I ask.. is that you wait for someone to come get me. I don't want to be alone right now. I'm scared."
She bit her lips softly and clutched ther cross the one Jonathan had given her. She gently reached out for Jason's hand and held it gently on her bed. Her fingers holding his tightly. She needed comfort and right now the sole person that she wanted it from wasn't here and she needed it from somewhere. She closed her eyes.
"Tell me.. about yourselves.. please. Magic.. life.. here.. anything." she whispered softly trying to keep her mind off of her own things.

"I won't leave. Not until someone else is here for you. You have my word." he said giving a soft smile giving her hand a gental squeeze of assurance. He felt really bad for Phae. not pity by any means all things considered she was handeling this well. But still. She had lost a child she never got to know. That had to hit hard.
"Well let's see a bit about me eh?.... I guess this should prove interesting. I'm actually more or less your average joe in many ways. Hell I even grew up in America. Not even some country way out there. Born in Cali raised in Oregon." he said with a shrug. His tone made it clear he didn't degrade himself. After meeting Celeste he realized that at this school being someone who was pretty average most of his life was a rare thing. "I learned about my own powers when I helped a girl from getting raped. i was walking home from a friends or some place and in this ally I heard a scream. Well you should be able to tell it's hard for me to ignore those who probably need a bit of help. I didn't even think much. I knew what the guy was doing and ven though he was about three times my size I rushed at him. hoping to at least give the girl a chance to get away. Well i wasn't much of a match for him physically. He batted me aside and came in probably to crush my head. I just felt somethign in me and pointed my palm at him and BAM. This beam of enegy comes out lifting him off his feet sending him flying. " he said taking a pause for a second. "Well I ran home after that and a person from the Academy was there. he explained what happened as I didn't know a thing about magic being real. he brought me here and since then I've been learning to control it. I'm an energy manipulator. I'd give a demo but I used up my energy in a battle right before I got here. As for being at the Academy. it's great. I love learning about well.... anything. And everyting here is pretty new to me as well." he said looking down at her hoping just talking to her would comfort her a bit.

Chephros listened to Jason as he explained his past. It was a good story, one that was believable on account of the magic he had used in the fight. Any normal human on the surface would have simply laughed in his face because they had no idea that such magic existed. Showing demonic abilities on the surface world would probably be a good way to raise hell. For now though, he was in the school as a peaceful emissary, for the most part. Figuring that since Jason had told his past, for the most part, as had Phae, he might as well let loose some of where he was from, the Demon realm, and what he had done already on the human plane. It most likely wasn't going to be pretty, especially the reactions he would receive, but then it was a demon's place to be hated wasn't it? A few moments after Jason finished, Chephros had finally cleared his mind of thoughts of Dashka, even though they would be reintroduced in a few moments anyway.
"I'm from the Demonic Realm, or Plane if you call it that. Thats obvious though isn't it? I came here almost a year ago as the last of my group. See, we come here at one time according to when we come into existence to do a little thing called a 'blooding ritual'. It gives us our power and allows us the wings and and tails that many demons have. Some don't simply naturally, and some are shiftlings. You see, we have our own natural little clock that determines how long we have with which to 'blood' ourselves. If we pass that time then we can only attain this form in the peak of a fight.
You see, demons like me are the odd ones. We stay in our own realm or plane simply to make sure we are at the best ability we can be so that our ritual passes quickly. I believe I waited too long though. I got here with only a few months left and couldn't find a target. Under normal circumstances I would have simply attacked to first person I saw. However when I got here no other demons greeted me. The gate, or rupture as you call them, was closed by a group of mages it seemed a few days after I passed through. Someone informed me much later that groups were going around and keeping all magic hidden, hence why my brethren were all disappeared. They had been killed.
Wandering around a village near the mountains I stayed there. The fact that the others were all dead or missing made me cautious so I wanted to have a discreet target. One that was away from the main people so that I wouldn't be found out. For months on end I waited, hunting in the woods nearby, or the mountains to the north, to gain food and survive. Eventually, I got lucky one day. A girl, probably just a teenager around fourteen or fifteen, went to walk through the woods alone. This was my shot at living the life that I wanted. However, I was stopped when I finally had her in this small glade. She was kind, and I guess that got to me." Cringing, he put his claws to his forehead again. The memories shot back again and he continued, although his voice sounded forced and in some pain.
"She was frightened when I finally revealed I was a demon, but I expected it. She ran, and I chased. I knocked her down by throwing a rock which surprisingly hit, and then got her unconscious. She had a knife with her so I took it, planning to use it for said blooding. The ritual is a nasty one, where you have to literally absorb, with any method, all of your victim's blood and then eat their heart. It's literally some demon's dream to do this. Anyway, I simply couldn't kill her for some reason, but when the search party came and some guy split off, I had no reserve and killing him. Two days later I was flying through the skies on my black, red, and dark blue wings. I met a man on the mountains and fought with him briefly then continued on.
Four day's later my need for chaos took hold and I ended up destroying half a town. The Blood Society then revealed themselves to me and I had an interesting experience with one of the council members, a time I will never forget. I joined, as you can no doubt guess, and am here as an emissary for them. Thats my history." He was prepared for hate. He had caught, and in effect, mentally tortured a little girl. He had then killed another guy and went to another village, destroying half of it. Now he was here.

Phaedra closed her eyes and lay there gently on her bed. Her hand was holding Jason's for comfort and she smiled softly as he began his tale. She listened because it was a good hearted all american boy kind of tale. She smiled when he saved the girl from her attacker and how he figured out he had magic. How he had come to the academy and how here he was learning and curious about everything. It was much like her. Learning about everything and yearning for as much information as she could get from the academy and the people in it. She was in love with magic. Though some of the luster had worn off over the last five or so months. With all the troubles and issues she had gained over that time.
But then it was Chephros's turn. Phae kept her eyes closed concentrating on relaxing more than anything else. Trying to keep her mind off her depression and disappoinment. She didn't want to think about it at all. What she wanted more than anything was just to move on but she knew that it wouldn't be so easy to do. And so she began to concentrate on Chephros's story. It started out interesting enough normal enough with a bit of a ritual she didn't want to know any more about. She was getting over her own 'ritual' that the academy had done for her and she really didn't want to think about it at all. But he continued on and her hand began to clench at Jason's hand. Needing more and more support.
When Chephros was done Phae winced and was out of bed like a shot. There was a bathroom at the end of the room and she ran for it. She was very good shape she worked out a lot. She ran into the bathroom slammed the door open and anything and everything she had eaten for lunch came out. Her memories of that class she had taken making it worse and worse than if they had not been triggered at all. It seemed now that Chephrose was not the only one that was living through her own bad memories.

Jason listend to Chephros' story and to say he wasn't taken aback by part of it would be a lie. He felt Phae squeeze his hand a bit more and returned it lending her his support even more. When she was up like a shot he wasn't surprised as to where she headed. He took this time she was in there to speak with Chephros. "You know. normally I would be repulsed bvy all that. Okay mabey I still am. But something's odd. you didn't seem to have enjoyed what you did." he said sounding confused as he was torn between wanting to understand and his being upset about what CHephros did.
"I think the thing thats messing with me. Is the fact that even with what you did. you sound like you regret it to an extent. I'm not sure exactly what that counts for. But for some reason I can't hate you for it. I don't know why though." He said.

Phae was gone when he finished. Something was bugging her it seemed. Chephros would ask later and figured it out, but for now he was looking at Jason. He shrugged before Jason started speaking, and then listened only partially as the boy did. Memories, now that they had been used, surged through his head. Almost triggering another painful spasm, Chephros shut them out and recalled what Jason said. To the outsider, unable to see inside his mind, he had simply sat there blankly while Jason spoke.
"I do believe what's bugging you is the fact that a demon felt some small measure of remorse. Something that shouldn't happen, and if it does will only happen once."
This held an obvious meaning to it. He had felt it one time, and that would be it. Anything beyond that, or at least for anyone beyond the girl, was subject to the animosity all demons held in their hearts and minds. Demons hated every race really, humans especially. Right now Chephros had plans forming in the middle of his mind to kill both Jason and Phae, he just hadn't let any intention of that surface. It was simply who he was. Sure, he had little to no motive for revenge, but they were human and that was all he needed as reason. Any demon would agree with him unless something had deeply altered their mind.
"With you though, I find it funny. You committed what humans called 'assault' I believe. Based on the Academy's urge for secrecy, I hope that man has somehow forgotten what happened. You did tell the people running this place about that right? If not, I suggest you do so quickly, otherwise the secret of magic could exist in one man's mind, and the scar he will most likely have from the beam will be his proof. There will be no other explanation, as it looks like burns but doesn't have the same after effects. Basically, only something unnatural could have done it. His story will seem to have some credit to it."

Jason cocked an eyebrow. "Really? I'm not sure about that. After all you could have killed me back in the training grounds. But you didn't. Mabey you don't want to admit it but I bet there's something else there. After all other beings can be good or evil in the way society views them. Why should a demon be any different?" he said figureing it was a very valid point. Chephros didn't have to be some goody goody not to be what people call evil. "As for the guy I blasted. I'm not even sure if he's alive. I just ran since the girl was out of there and I was freaked out. But the man from the academy told me that things would be taken care of." he said sounding a bit concerned. Jason haden't taken a life before and he really had no intention of doing so when he could help it.

Phae came back sometime later. But she was not herself right now. She was pale. Broken out in a cold sweat. Her body was barely making it anywhere. She groaned and held her stomach as she stumbled and was dizzy. Eaten? Not lately, at least not in the last two days. She hadn't felt like eating her stomach had been hurting and she just hadn't been hungry.
"I don't.. think.. I .. should..."
She stopped and swayed softly in the middle of the isle she was running a high fever and the world around her began to spin as she crumpled to the floor. Her body was weak and now weaker. She wasn't supposed to have gotten out of bed and apparently the rule was for a good reason. And so Phaedra Weiss lay on the floor two beds down from her own red hair spilled around her and the floor her pale legs sticking out of her skirt.

Jab, weave, dodge, roll, duck, jab, kick.
Price looked down at yet another opponent in his usual morning spar. Shaking his head, and offering a flippant hand out for the defeated, Price let loose one little remark as the other boy accepted it.
"So, yeah... you come here often, don't you?"
Price's sarcastic smirk only widened as he let the boy back up to his feet, patting him on the back as he did so. "Get outta here, bucko, come meet me again once you've learned to fight a bit."
Despite his unimpressed attitude, the boy had put up a fight. Walking away, Price grabbed a towel from his duffel bag, wiping some sweat from his brow. As he did so, Price heard a faint squeaking sound in the not-so-distant area before him. His eyebrow cocked upward, and his thoughts wandered.
You know... every time an animal comes running my way, bad news usually follows.
Delana the jhereg came squeaking up to Price, seeming to want the boy to follow her somewhere. Squeaking up to him, then squeaking off a few feet in a certain direction, then coming back to do the same thing over again. "Guess you want me to follow you, Del?" Characteristic of her eager, usually urgent nature, Delana nodded importantly, squeaking off once more. Shrugging, Price decided to follow her. It wasn't long before he realized exactly where he was headed.
The recovery wing.
Shit, Price thought, quickening his pace. There was only one reason Del would have taken him here, and he had a bad feeling he wouldn't like what he was about to see.
Bursting through the main doors, Price eyed the nearest receptionist, asking with barely controlled urgency.
"Phaedra Weiss. Take me to her now."
Sensing the importance, the receptionist said nothing, motioning in the direction she was meant to be in. Before long, he found his girlfriend, not in bed like she was meant to, but sprawled on the floor in a rather uncompromising position. Taking charge, Price rushed to her side, kneeling beside her and holding her head up.
"Phaedra! Phaedra!"
He shook her, not hard, very lightly, just enough to hopefully rouse her from her state. Looking back to the two people behind him, he spoke to both of them at once.
"Blondie, Cuddles, you're either helping or getting the hell out, and I don't see much use for you here anymore. Hey Doc," he called out at the nearest passing recovery wing attendant. "I'm taking this girl back with me, and there's not much you're going to want to do about it. Just thought you should know."
Without another word, Price cradled Phaedra in his arms, lifting her up and heading back towards the exit, making a beeline for their dormitory room.

She heard her name. Not just her nick name but her full name and only called out by the one she loved most. He shook her softly and her eyes opened slowly a bit hazy and she smiled when she saw him just a bit. She was happy he had finally come for her. Especially because she needed him badly. He picked her up in his arms and she hooked her arm around his neck leaning weakly against him.
"Richard." she whispered softly as her eyes fought to stay open.
He addressed Chephros and Jason and she smirked softly. He was being himself and she loved that. He then turned to talk to doctor explaining that he was taking her out of her. Her eyes opened and she looked up at him as she began to break down into tears. She clung to him softly but her hand wrapped up in his shirt.
"I lost it.. oh Richard.. she's gone.. they said I wasn't strong enough. I couldn't keep her. Richard.. I.. I failed." she whispered softly as she cried into his arms. Letting him carry her away to the room. She wanted to lay down on his bed and feel his arms around her.
"I'm not a good mom. Oh Richard.. I"m so sorry." she cried as she clung to him while he held her seemingly effortless to his body.

"Sssh," Price replied, quieting her. "Don't worry about it now. You're weak. I'm getting you back to bed. Tell me all about it later. You're a wonderful mother. You've treated me alright, eh?" Another soft smile.
Price looked back at the other two, who hadn't moved much yet, likely still in the shock of Price's sudden entrance.
"Don't kill anybody while I'm out, right kiddos?"
He smirked, and made his way out of the area, letting the other two to deal with the following events however they wished.
-Exit Price; Phae-
(OOC: Yeah, it's short, but I was a little lost for what else to say. You other two feel free to react how you will.)

(Well, sorry for not posting before but Phae know's why I couldn't, so yeah >.>)
Well, while they were all having happy fun time, Cheph was within his mind controlling it. His train of thought had four tracks and thirty trains. Catastrophe waiting to happen? Most likely. Of course one of the healers here was good with mental problems, probably because of some form of telepathy inherent in her blood, and she came over. Unable to read into his mind even a little she figured that he was in some mental trouble. This was also aided by the fact that when she got close his whole upper body tensed as if it was going to literally leap at her. He was like a grenade lacking its target. A random explosion.
This would have happened if he hadn't been semi-unconscious though. The tranquilizer from before had only partially worn off and he had used most of his mental ability to tell his history while avoiding seeing that part of his life again and go through a second slight mental breakdown. The healer gave him another, albeit larger, dose of tranquilizer and he was out cold. His wings drooped, falling over the sides of the bed and his tail did as well, falling off the foot of the bed. His head leaned away from everyone and he only barely heard the sad nickname 'Cuddles' before his eyes blanked.

Interesting guy. Rather egotistical but he seems alright. though that attitude might get him in trouble at some point or another. I hope differently though. Thought Jasons eeing Price come in and take Phae obviously being her boyfriend and clearly concerned about her. He decided to ignore the comments he made and looked over at Chephros how seemed ready to pass out.
Jason himself was feeling a bit better than before and he decided it was time to go. He paused a minute to look at Chephros. He didn't much like the feeling of being torn between respect and slight repulsion for what he had done in the past. But it was not Jason's place to judge. And the fact Chephros let the girl live and also had not killed him when given the chance. That convinced Jason that there was more to CHephros than he was willing to admit.
He headed out of the infirmary a bit stiffly still slightly sore from his wounds but for the most part allright. He planned to head up to his dorm room and get some sleep now.
