Brandon kissed her nose and Kelsie felt instant releif and happiness she loved that. It was something only he did and something she would only let him do. Her nose was something that meant more than just a nose between them. Each carress and touch to her nose meant 'i love you' or something to that effect. It was special silent communication and she loved every one that he gave her. This time it was a kiss on her nose and she smiled even brighter for it, she never went a day anymore where he didn't touch her nose and she knew the day she had to would be a sad day indeed.
His arms moved so that only one encircled her waist as they headed for the portal she let Brandon lead her so that she didn't have to use her cane just yet. There was pushing of some buttons and then the feel of Brandon falling out of her arms and to the floor with sickness. She knelt down and was about to heal him when Ace beat her to it. She let him do that and she kissed Brandon's forehead gently. Soon he was better again and they stood but not before some creature with a strange accent came and called Brandon by his nickname. Kelsie stood up and let all the guys great this creature and the one that was to come momentarily. she heard the smaller and soundingly younger one sniffing around her but she didn't move.
Soon a larger building shaking individual came and she clung to Brandon her head closer to his as she listened to both the little one and the larger one greet her. She didn't know they held out their hands to her but she did offer a smile.
"It is nice to meet you both." she said softly. "My name is Kelsie."
She didn't leave Brandon's side if anything she was nearly stuck like glue to him she didn't want to part with him she loved him for all she was and not only that but she was a little scared being in a place she didn't know. Her arms went around his waist and she nuzzled into him staying as close as she could being blind didn't always make things easy. She couldn't see anything and though she knew that Brandon wouldn't take her to somewhere dangerous it still was someplace new.

"But we'll be sure to drop by later" Ace assured the ork "Take care now, and don't let any of the guests think they're something they're not!" Ace saluted the hulking bartender as they went outside, waving his goobye. Brandon felt so very comfortable now, feeling Kelsie close and her arms around his waist. "Don't worry about Grobutz and Zleet, they're good guys" Brandon whispered to her, shifting so that he was facing her and putting his arms around her waist as well. "What they say and the way they talk, it's a cultural thing. Big and mean are compliments to them, and Grobutz just happens to be a little self-focused, it's not meant as a threat"
He ran his hand through her hair again, before running his thumb across her nose. "I know they're all a little scary off the bat, but they're good people and they're our friends, yours and mine, and they'll die protecting you if you show them kindness and friendship, just like the other guys. Now" he leaned in and kissed her between the eyes, letting it last a few moments before he pulled back. "Where would you like to go first? There's clothes, jewels, food and almost every toher kind of merchandise. I'll let you have the first pick of shop we go to" He looked into her almost gem-like unseeing eyes, smiling at their beauty and the beauty he knew lay beneath them. He hoped she would enjoy their little shopping run, that was the main reason they were there, after all.

Kelsie waved as the two interesting individuals decided to take their leave of the group. Ace bid them fairwell in promise that they would be back later and Kelse continued nearly merging with poor Brandon's body trying to stay close. But when the two had left Brandon turned his attention towards her telling her that both of them had been friends and would protect her shoud she ever need it and they were around. She smiled softly and he shifted so he was right in front of her and she blushed softly as she felt his hand in her hair. She tended to blush a lot but that wasn't something she could help she loved him very much but he could make her blush in a heartbeat. His thumb crossed her nose and she smiled brighter than before he knew how much that meant to her, only he knew and he made sure to do it often, to show that not only did he love her but that he was smiling as well. She wished many times she could see him, just once, see what color his eyes were and what his smile looked like. She longed to see that smile.
He kissed her right between the eyes and as he spoke to her she rained down kisses on his neck just underneath the jaw on the left side of his face. It would be sensitive there, she knew that for a fact and it was why she had chosen this spot to show her love to him once more. He was letting her chose the first place to go and she pulled back as if to look at him but instead she just hugged him tightly as she thought about it and nuzzled into him. She never wanted to be apart for him, she could only hope that his friends would understand them being a bit clingy with each other as they had been seperated for years and this was a dream come true for the both of them.
"I'd like to look at jewelry first. I want to get something specail to remember the trip by." she said softly as she kissed his neck since she was already nuzzled into it, several time. She smiled against his neck. "Mmmm I love you!" she exclaimed happily before pulling back and letting his arm resume around her waist.

Brandon wasn't sure to be flattere or annoyed as Kelsie began to continiusly kiss his neck as he spoke to her, but as alway with her he chose the later of the two. Every one of those little kisses was its own little wind of bliss and love that he felt soar through his body and he loved each and every one of them. She nuzzled into him as she thought if where she would like to start and Brandon pulled er closer, just enjoying the feeling of her being so close, feeling her warmth through their clothes, listening to her breaths and feeling her heartbeat against his chest. When she had made up her mind she kissed his chin again. She said that she wanted to get a piece of jewelry to remeber the little trip by and Brandon couldn't help but to smile a little more. He was happy that she had enjoyed the trip so far. He should have known better than to worry.
"I love you too" He answered, his arm feeling so at home around her waist. He leaned in and kissed her on the cheek softly, just once, letting her knwo, probably for the millionth time, how happy she made him. The others had begun to disperse, seeking out the shops that each dealt merchandise that fell in their taste, and Brandon had set his eyes on a few shops as well, mainly those where he knew and had befriended the owner. But this trip was for Kelsie and he didn't mind going shopping with, actually he looked forward to it. It would be yet another way for them to be close, and there could never be too many of those.
"How about this?" He asked her, plucking a necklace from the display of the jewelry store. It looked beautiful, the krystals, or whatever they were, looking like falling rain-drops that had frozen while falling. "Here, try holding it" He would say, handing it to her, and help her put it on if she wanted to, not because she needed help, but because he wanted to touch her again. "What do you think honey?" He wold ask, lifting up her hair so it wouldn't get caught. He hadn't noticed the guy behind him either

Kelsie and Brandon went out into the city. It was nice here and it was busy she could hear all the people barginning and haggling for goods. She could hear the movements of the bigger people they had met down the stairs, not them inparticular but them as a species. Brandon's arm was the only thing helping her not panic in this new place as he led her through it. He was relaxed and so that made her relax a bit more than normal because she felt like if he was allright with everything going on then she shouldn't be too worried about it. So they headed to a booth where he held up something for her and then placed it in her hand.
Her fingers came up and began to explore the piece of jewelry and she smiled as she felt the little crystals that dangled from it. It was pretty at least to her, she had no idea if it was to sighted people but it Brandon picked it out she knew he at least liked it. He lifted up her hair and she smiled as she reached up and placed the necklace around her neck. It fell gracefully and beautifully the crystals catching the light just right and it felt so nice against her skin as Brandon let her hair go.
"I love it." she said with a bright smile.
She pulled Brandon around back to in front of her and kissed him softly before her hands ranged over the table and she found what she was looking for, a display of rings. Kelsie blushed as she went over them with her hands feeling all the different ones they had to offer and she settled on one that she thought would be nice for Brandon. Taking his left hand without really thinking of the symbolism involved with it, she slid the ring onto his left ring finger. It was white gold with a black stone that had a small diamond in the center of the black stone. Kelsie just loved the feel of it, around the white gold band was celtic designs that were engraved beautifully.
"My lady, there is a woman's ring to match, would you like to see it?" inquired the person behind the booth. Matching rings! How perfect.
"yes, please." Kelsie said excitedly as the woman seeing that Kelsie was blind took her hand and placed the ring in the center of her palm where Kelsie began to feel the stone and she smiled, it was beautiful too. "Bran, will you put it on me?" she asked softly as she placed the ring into his hand.
"Unless you don't like them.. we could pick something else.. it doesn't have to be a ring.. but I thought matching ones would be fun." she said with a soft smile. "Something nice we could share."
Kelsie, in hopes that he would say he liked them and the idea would hold out her left hand for him. The woman behind the counter was adding up the cost of the things she had picked out already so that she could give them a total rather soon if this was all they would purchase today.

Brandon smiled, he thought the necklace looked good on her too. She pulled him close and kissed him, and he could do nothing but kiss her back, embracing the world of love and bliss that opened through the kiss, like it did everytime. She was beautiful, special and she was here with him, loving him as innerly as he loved her. When she had been hurt she had come to him, proof of their devotion to each other, not that Brandon needed any. He saw it everyday in her smiled and her unseeing eyes, heard it in her whisperes and felt it in her kiss. There was no one like her and he was happy beyond words that they were together again.
She pulled back from the kiss, and Brandon's heart skipped a beat when she began sorting through the rings. He had given that thought already, but he had yet to give himself time to go looking for some. He loved her, more than anything, and he wanted to be with her forever. If he was ever going to marry anyone it would be her, but he was still afraid of screwing something up, like picking the wrong church, time or, as of now, rings. He wanted it to perfect for her, because that was what she was to him.
She put a ring on his finger and Brandon's heart skipped another beat, the untidy bazaar changing to the scene of their wedding for a split second. Maybe she wanted that too? Then the old hag said that she had another one and soon Kelsie placed it in his hand. "No" He began, looking at the ring in his palm. "No, rings are good" He took the ring from his palm and gently took her left hand. He began to slide the ring onto her finger and then everything just... stopped. No one noticed as they all stopped moving as well, everything just seemed to cease moving.
From a dark, nearby alley a few figures emerged, dressed in full body uniforms, as well as what looked like some very heavy vests. "Move it!" It came from one of the soldiers, apparently the leader of the seven. "We only have a limitid amount of time before the chrono-suits run out and we need to secure our objective and bring it back to the commander before then!" The seven advanced on Brandon and Kelsie, the loving couple seemingly frozen due to them still being in normal time. The soldiers knew the drill, the chronological energy stored in the vest would be transmitted to whatever they touched, making them able to take the object, or person, with them. The vests were eached linked to the same main transmitter, also carried in the form of a suit, although far larger than the others. The other vests were connected to it through a thick wire, through which the energy ran.
The soldiers worked with the instincts taught to them with their training, and those told them to take the one of their objectives who would pose less of a threat and put up less resistance than the others and the girl, although they had no data on her, was the perfect candidate. The obvious emotional bonds between her and the prime target meant that she would be just as usable. One of the soldiers produced a stungun from one of his pockets and as soon as his left hand made contact with the target's shoulder he pressed the stungun against the midsectino of her back, hopefully knocking her out. But mroe than that happened. Brandon, who was still holding her hand, also recieved some of the chronological energy, and was only far to aware when the soldier attempted to knock Kelsie out with the stungun.
A combination of anger and logic took over, instinct and computer working together. Brandon knew what these guys were, they were SoG chrono-troopers and he knew how their system worked. Still holding Kelsie's wrist he moved forward and grabbed hold of the attacker's wrist, releasing Kelsie's. Letting one of his antimagic blades slide out of his wrist, he pierced the attacker's chest, letting his lungs fill with blood. Brandon unleashed a furious assault on the wounded soldier, blades and fists raining down on the, still standing, SoG soldier. Brandon had relinquished his logic for that moment, letting anger and instinct take over his actions. He had no idea how much he would regret letting that happen.
Two of the remaining six troopers had seized the opportunity and grabbed Kelsie from her current position, frozen while falling to the ground, and had gotten hold of her, carrying her back towards the alley they came from. When Brandon saw this it was far too late for him to do anything. The soldier he had attacked was already dying and Brandon coul see the 'spider', the soldier who carried the chronological battery, beginning to loosen the plug that connected him to the unfortunate soldier, meaning that soon Brandon would be caught in normal time again. Brandon almost lost himself to instinct again, but this time he remained calm. He lifted up the body of his now dead foe and sliced through the wire that connecte dhim to the spider, rendering both him and the soldier bacl in normal time.
"What the...?" One of the soldiers asked the thin air. "Huh? NOOO!" The leader, and also the spider of the team, realized what Brandon had planned too late. He struggled to unplug the cable but it was to no avail. The Cable that Brandon had cut had, still affected by gravity, begun falling towards the ground as all objects did, pulled by the vast physical mass. When it connected with the surface all the stored time in the spider's battery was absorbed by the ground, draining it in a fraction of a second and rendering the entire squad back in normal time. They were now trapped in a huge area overflowing with people who hated them like the plague and they were unarmed and out numbered. They were screwed.
The two soldiers who were carrying Kelsie, however, would play the last trumf the team had, one that would save them from almost certain death, the portal set up in the alley they came from, the very portal that served at both their insertion and extraction point. They unplugged themselves from the leader and ran for it, Brandon sprinting after them, both of his lethal wristblades extended. But another soldier got in his way, tripping him, and then administering a viscious kick to his kidneys as he fell to the ground. The trooper turned around and tried to run, but one of Brandon's wristblades hamstrung the trooper, making him fall to the ground.
It looked like everyone else was going to escape however, Brandon still getting up as the last of the troopers, the spider, ran towards the portal, delayed by his heavy suit. But then both him and Brandon heard a loud shout from above, and before either of them could turn to see whoƩre it came from, Relic had landed on the trooper with excessive velocity, smashing him to the ground and knocking him out. Brandon forced himself back onn his legs, the thought of Kelsie being in danger driving him, and launched himself at the portal, just to smash his forehead against the brick wall behaind when the portal closed. For a few moments he lay there, rubbing his head, trying to make the pain go away. Then his hands went to his eyes and he began to cry....
On the other side of the portal, in an empty building a few miles from the bazaar, the commander of the troopersstood ready to recieve unit and the objective. But he wasn't happy... "Just what THE FUCKING HELL WENT WRONG OUT THERE?!" He yelled at the troopers, more than angry with the only partially succeeded mission. "You are given a simple abduction mission, and you are even given CHRONO-SUITS! HOW THE HELL DO YOU FUCK THAT UP?!" In truth he knew that yelling was pointless, the troopers wouldn't learn of that, they weren't designed that way. He calmed himself down with a few slow breaths and then eyed the acquired target. "Well, I don't belive I've had the pleasure" He began, speaking in a voice that was both smug and had a dangerous undertone of an unstable temper. "I am the commander around here, and you are?"

Kelsie didn't feel or see anything happening. She felt the jolt but that soon passed and the time was still stopped so her brain didn't really process the thoughts of what was happening to her. She just stood there the ring not yet on her finger and time frozen. suddenly though she became all too aware when she was grabbed up and she heard the sound of the metal ring she had picked out falling to the ground bouncing with that soft ping of metal as it met the concrete below. Her eyes widened and she cried out for Brandon as they ran further and further away from the sounds of the love of her life fighting for her.
Around a corner Kelsie could feel the lack of sunlight and knew they must be in an alley. No one lived in New York without knowing that unmistakable feel of an alleyway. She was carried in the arms bridal style of a man she could tell but he was wearing some sort of strange clothing and she didn't understand why she was here nor why theywere taking her her. she tried to scream out but no one seemed to be moving, it was odd, she couldn't hear anything but the fading sounds of Brandon fighting to get to her and the fall of the boots of the men that carried her. Suddenly, all the noise picked back up and she could feel that magical pull of the portal her eyes widened and she began to beat the man holding her with her weak fists. Catching him once iin the mouth and once in the eye, those would swell and she could smell the blood from his now split lip.
With a curse they ran through the portal and she cried out one last time for Brandon she could hear him close and then everything went quiet, the tug died, the portal had closed and Kelsie's body surrendered and she began to cry softly as she stopped fighting and winced at the loudness of the voice that was screaming at the soliders. Soon he came over to her that edge in his voice that told her he couldn't be trusted, and after hearing him yell she knew that more now. He seemed to be interested in her and she cringed from that. The thought going through her mind was..
I want Brandon.. and I never got my ring..
"Your captive?" she ventured answering the man deciding to be strong she wiped her tears away, it was obvious sarcasm in her voice but she wasn't going to give them information freely. She hit the man holding her again, this time in the jaw forcing him to bite his own lip causing it to bleed. He dropped her and she stood up settling her skirt down and and counted them one by one hearing their breathing. There were eight people in the room, she had no chance.
"Where am I?" she asked curiously.

The commander, also known as subject T - 238, let out a loud laughter at Kelsie's answer. "Only far too true, I am afraid" He chuckled after the laughter had died down. This one seemed to have some fighting spirit, but that wouldn't help her a lot. Then again, that all depended on so many things, and that was one of the few things he were allowed to take pleasure in, complex work. "As for where you are" He continued, musing at one of the soldiers rub his chin after the girl's blow "I can tell you as much as that you'll be spending no more time here than absolutely neccesary. don't worry" Even though he knew very well that that would be the last thing she would worry about. "Now, let's get this first hand impression thing overwith. What's your name?"
Brandon lay on the ground, his hands covering his eyes as tears ran from them, forming small drops of md when they hit the dust on the ground. Relic, after making sure that the spider was unconsicouss and knocking out the hamstrung trooper, came over to Brandon and helped him up. Relic had no idea what had happened apart from that he had heard the unmistakeable sounds of combat, and had arrived just in time to prevent the escape of one of the attackers. And he had seen Kelsie dissapear through that strange portal. "There there" He tried, patting Brandon's shoulder. "We'll get her back" Brandon, his body shaking with sobs, embraced his friend and cried to his hearts content, letting it all go.
About five minutes later the entire gang had turned up at the site, and they all felt the powerlesness tear at their pride and their sense of security. They had lost far more than just a little fight, they had lost a friend. When Jonathan turned up only Relic could hinder him in loosing his temper, which would surely have lead to damage of some innocent bystanders. They knew there was nothing more they could do, so they left, heading back to the tavern hoping that they could find something, anything, but not before Brandon had picked up Kelsie's ring and put it in his inner pocket. He felt as though someoen had ripped his heart out with a spoon, only worse. Why did theses things have to happen and why, oh why, did they happen to the person he loved so very much?

Kelsie smiled as the man seemed to enjoy her witty reply on just who she was. She chuckled softly as she waited for him to calm himself down. This place was weird it had a smell she couldn't place but there was no sense in giving up that she was blind at the moment that might make things worse or better for her in the long run so she tried to pretend she could see if only just a little.
Oh Brandon.. Brandon I hope you're okay I miss you.. I love you.. please be okay. I'm sorry so sorry!
Her voice cried out in her mind as the man in front of her came close and asked her name. She smiled softly as if she was flattered by his attention. He was so nice, so far but she didn't miss the tone of his voice that said if you crossed him that he could get real nasty real fast. She sighed. She knew of no reason why she shouldn't give them her real name but smething was nagging her on the inside so she decided to lie.
"Elsi." she said with a smile. It was close enough to her own name that she would answer to it if it was called yet different enough something like hypnosis would't work. Not that it was easy to begin with on a blind girl but she was doing the best she could.
"Where am I? You didn't answer my question, I think I should get to know." she said as she waited for an answer.

"Elsi you say?" Was the commander's response, a slight tone of surprise in his voice. This was not the intel he had been given, close but far from close enough. Nothing short of 100% correct information was good enough, any less than that could easily get you killed. "I am subject T-238, codenamed Cobra Commander, but you can call me CC. If you will excuse me for a moment.." He slid his gun out of its holster and aimed at the back of one of th replica soldiers' heads. "Reploid 1587!" He called and the soldier turned around, the bullet from the SoG manufactured gun penetrating the replica's helmet, skull and brain. "You should have been more thorough, either we have just th wrong name or th wrong person, and I hope I don't have to lecture you, any of you, in how much jeopardy that could bring our operation"The soldier was replaceble, they all were. But it was his duty to the SoG, his unit and also himself to keep the ranks clean of any faults. Whether or not the intel had been correct wouldn't matter now, he knew this was the target. What would matter was the reaction of the target, it could prove useful if she reacted at all. To some it wasn't their own deaths of the threat thereoff that scared them, but the deaths of others. "Reploid 1426?" "Sir!" "Clean up the mess before it starts to stink" "Sir yes sir!" Reploids had no sense of fear, they had very little but an urge to complete the missions they were given, and do so to the best of thier ability. The commanders, like this one, were a lot more independant. *Back at the tavern* The others were downstairs, angry and upset, but Brandon wasn't with them. The bartender, Grobutz, had given him the room free of charge when he asked for someplace private, and now he sat on the edge of the bed, staring into the wooden floor. He didn't know what to do, who to talk to or how to feel, apart from empty, and that was not a choice. The uys had dragged along the two SoG soldiers they had captured, but Brandon knew that interrogation would prove useless. How did you scare someone to betrayal when all they feared was failing their duties? Simple, you didn't, you couldn't. He lay down on the bed, looking into the ceiling instead. This was by far the worst feeling he knew, knowing that he had everything he needed t osave her, through the combined efforts of the gang, everything except for the destination. This reminded him of when he and Kelsie had been ripped apart the first time, and far too much, mainly beacuse this was worse. Parents were one thing, they wouldn't want to hurt her, or at least not as much as the SoG could. "Kelsie" He wispered, picturing the last image he had of her, the soldiers dragging her through the portal. "I'm so sorry, oh Kelsie" He began to cry again, rolling onto his side and assuming fetal position as the sobs shook his body Back at the SoG temporary outpost As for where you are" The commander continued, his voice completely untouched by the murder he had comitted. I've told you all you'll ever know about this place already" The commander reached out to the minds of the reploids who had carried her throgh the portal and ordered them to put her in the temporary prisoner cell on the floor above them. "Take care now" He called after her, in a slightly amused tone. What he had done before had been all show, he didn't need to utter a word to issue orders or commands. He was, like many of the other commanders, a psychic, an ability that had been provoked and modified so that it allowed him to issue commands to all his assignend squads, right down to the individual. It also gave him the ability to to see through his soldiers' eyes and memories, a gift that was far mroe than just useful. The two soldiers escorted Kelsie to the room without a word, opened the door and pushed her through. "Here" One of them said, in a voice devoid of any emotion whatsoever "If you get hungry" From a pouch in his belt the reploid withdrew something that looked like an oversized candybar, wrapped in silver-like plastic, and tossed it into the room before shutting and locking the heavy door. It was an emergency ration carried by all the reploids, each of them had three of these in their belts. It contained everything a human being needed of nourishment for one day, including a chemical that neutralized stomach acid to keep it from attacking the gut from the inside. One of the reploids positioend himself outside the door, just in case she found some way to escape and the other a little longer down the hall. Those were the orders, the commander took no chances. After Kelsie had been left alone, a voice introduced itself to her. It was a strange one, in that it had no echo, but rather seemed to come from another plane, somewhere where there were no such thing as physics. "Kelsie? Yo, Kelsie! Can you hear me?"

"NO WAIT!" Kelsie cried out holding a hand out in the direction of the commander. She had heard the unholstering.. the clicking of the cocking mechanism, the round moving into the chamber.
BAM!
Kelsie's eyes widened and her knees weakened as she crumpled to the floor shaking. She could smell it oh God she could smell it and she quickly put her hands over her nose so she wouldn't have so smell it. But then she could hear it, the way the blood moved as the men stepped in it, the way the men began to clean up the matter and Kelsie lost anything she had eaten for breakfast right there, right on the commanders snazzy polished black shoes. She lost everything. No one ever said Kelsie was strong but with heightened senses it had been far worse than imagined.
Soon Kelsie was hoisted up and she was dragged because she had no strength to stand any longer to an elevator that took her up one floor. Down another hall and to a door that opened with a heavy metal creak. Kelsie was shoved in and she fell onto the floor in the center of the room. Something in a wrapper landed beside her before the resounding door closed loudly. Kelsie couldn't move, not at first she curled up into a ball and began to sob great wracking sobs. She didn't know where she was, she didn't know what was going on, she didn't know if Brandon was okay and she was lost so lost here. And she had been responsible for someone's death! Oh God SHE had killed someone Brandon and the rest would hate her forever.
Slowly she crawled around til she found the smelly moldy matress in the corner and covered up with the blanket leaving that wrapped.. thing in the center of the room where it had fallen. Her tears still fell and she was alone again, her worst fears coming to fruition. But her next sob stopped short as she heard a voice and she froze. It wasn't in the room with her that was for sure it seemed to be further away, like in another place.
"Brandon!?' she said sitting up but no it wasn't his voice.. "..Mek?" she whispered.
"Mek! It's you! I can tell even through the echo!" she said happily as she wiped the tears from her cheeks. "Mek! I've been kidnapped and Brandon! Oh god .. is he okay!? Please.. Please tell me what happened." she begged as she curled up on the bed again.

If Mek, or Elshareece as was his real name, had had a face he would have smiled. He was a spirit, a ghost of knowledge from a different plane that had found a residence in the unstable construction that had been Mek, and now he was free again. "He is fine, do not worry for his health. The only damage done to him to day was to his pride. But I can not contact him and tell him that you are, and that hurts him. The only one who could contact him now would be you" Elshareece hoped that Kelsie would get over the shock of the killed reploid soon, she would need her entire mind for what he was going to try and teach her.
Downstairs the commander looked down at the mess Kelsie had left behind her with a satisfied smile. Like expected, she was unaccostumed to death, a fact that would prove very useful once the interrogation was initiated. A thought later another one of the other reploids began to clean up the mess as well,s tarting with the commander's boots. Right now he was wearing his formal uniform, but he had a feeling that told him that his combat uniform would come in handy soon, the same knack that had allowed him to survive many difficult assigments in the past, including another run-in with subject G-67 and his allies, but this time he had the upper hand, in the form of a valuable hostage, no less. He moved in front of a mirror and began to change to his combat suit, the nanite-maintained surface sticking to his skin without hindering his movement. He knew a fight was coming, he could sense it and, despite his nature, he looked forward to it.

Kelsie curled up on her side. She didn't know if the place had windows or cameras so she was trying her best to look like the prisioner she was. She didn't want them to think she had hope, because Mek was giving her hope, if she could contact Brandon then at least she wouldn't be so upset about dying when she hadn't gotten to say goodbye. And maybe hearing her voice would make him want to come for her. She loved him so much and if she was going to die or be tortured or whatever she would want to remember Brandon's voice as clearly as she could right now. The sooner she could get that connection she would feel a hundred times better. "Tell me how, tell me how now!" she said urgently. As Kelsie listened she took in everything that she could. She was curious as to how this connection could be established she loved him so very much and she needed to talk to him. If he knew she was okay, then maybe things would be better. Once she had the idea she closed her eyes and concentrated hard. To anyone looking in at her she would seem like she was asleep. BRANDON! She waited, so hopeful... more hopeful than she had ever been in her life. She hoped he would hear her, talk to her, realize he wasn't crazy. Brandon.. please hear me... I love you so much. You make me so happy. I want you to know, I"m okay.. I'm not hurt. I'm okay.. I love you so much. I miss you.. I miss your arms and your kisses. When.. when I come home.. I want you to hold me tight all night.. and.. and I want to be kissed on my nose.. and I .. I want to sleep beside you again and.. I don't want to leave your side ever.. ever again. She told him softly but urgently with her voice conveying how much she reall wanted to talk to him and be with him again.

Brandon lay on the bed, feeling ill. He felt exhausted and yet he couldn't sleep. He just lay there, curdled up on the bed and wished to hold her again, to feel her touch to hear her voice...
Brandon almost rolled out of the bed in shock, his mind reacting through his body with the shock, as it struggled to accept what his emotions already knew. "Kelsie?" He whispered, standing up and looking around the little room, hoping to catch just a glimpse of her. Then he remembered the special ring her voice now had to it, she wasn't here, she was speaking to him the same way he and Mek communicated. Then she continued speaking.
She was ok! Thank God, he had been so worried. Tears began to flood his one working eye as she continued, but these were tears of relief and mutual emotion. He closed his eyes and placed his hands on his temple, using the energy his arms held to magnify the message he was about to send back to her. He so hoped she would recieve it.
[glow=red,2,300]"Oh Kelsie my love, I was so afraid. They took you and I wasn't there. I'm so sorry, I should have protected you from them, I, I... I'm so happy that you're ok. I want to hold you so close to me and never let go again. I'm so sorry, I should've stopped them. Please, tell me where you are and we'll get you out of there."[/glow] He longed to feel her back in his amrs, he knew he should never have let go, but he had and the SoG had used that window

For what seemed like an eternity she waited, waited for a reply from the man she loved. Truthfully it was only a matter of a minute or so but that seemed to last so long as she was pushing every bit of hope she had in her small blind body into the thoughts that he would hear her. And she sighed relaxing when she heard his voice coming through loudly into her mind the slight ring to his voice made it even more interesting to listen to but that wasn't the important thing, it was the fact that he was there he had heard her message and was there listening to her. She relaxed and tried not to smile at his voice telling her how he wasn't going to let go of her when they found her.
Bran, honey, I love you. I'm so happy you can hear me. I want you to know it isn't your fault, it never was. Don't blame yourself, besides I"m allright, don't worry about me. I don't know where I am they won't tell me. There was this man he told me he was subject T-238, codenamed Cobra Commander. I don't know what that meant but that's what he said in place of a name, and then Reploid 1587! Oh Bran! I killed someone! I was trying to be brave so I gave them the wrong name, not my real one and they thought that the information had been incorrect and killed Mr. 1587. Right there! *tears could be heard in her voice as she continued* I.. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to kill anyone! I thought I was being brave! And they killed him.. oh Brandon I'm so scared!
Kelsie cried on her matress wrapped up in the scratchy blanket as she waited for what was next. Hopefully Brandon would get the whole message she figured that he would seeing as they had a good communication link right now. She reached out on the other side of her flithy matress but Brandon wasn't there, she was all alone, and she was scared.
