Tristan opened the heavy door in the main hall, and began to decend down the A-typical spiral steps. Hopefully Tai could fit in the small corridor. He'd most likely be slowed as the ceiling was less than eight feet high. "I think there are barriers on the roof of the school to keep it intact incase of attack, but I don't know how protected we'll be agianst the ambient energy from the storm." He called back, echoing his words and foot steps as he stomped down the stairs.
What seemed like an eternity later, the bunch of them would reach the lower levels. In reality, they'd probably gone a half a mile down. Tristan walked out of the stairwell and into the dimly lit passageways.
The whole lot of them looked ancient, but still fairly modern compared to a castles dungeon. Wires could be seen protruding from the walls, and the lights themselves gave it a futuristic enough look. It were as though people from present day went back to the middle ages and gave king edward the what ever random number a power generator and copper wiring.
"I haven't been down here too often, so I don't really know my way around. If we can find it, we can probably go to the observation room. Thats probably the safest unrestricted area in the entire island." Tristan said, his deep voice slightly echoing. The hall was fairly large. It was nothing compared to the grand halls of the Academy Proper, but it had about a ten foot ceiling and was about fifteen feet wide, enough room for Tristan's Crusnik wings to stretch out.
"Well, well, well. What have we here. Fresh meat boys." Tristan's booming voice attracted company...Low level vampires who weren't even part of the student body.
With a sigh, "Not today little worms." The man said, half way transformed, his eyes glowing brightly. "Oh Shit! The Crusnik...s-ssorry man...W-We didn't know." With that, the three Vampires took off in the other direction. Another sigh, and Tristan returned to his fully human state.

Following Tristan on his way to the lower parts of the academy led Leon and Tai to an interesting place. It was slightly a long walk and poor Tassader trying to fit down that small stair well was interesting to see. Once at their destination the remnent magic in the lower parts of the academy would of been playing tricks on the young Spell Caster, but the effects of the storm had already started touching him as his hair barely stuck up at all. Tai's left wrist blade slowly slid out as he heard voices, Leon's magic being useless at the current moment had a hand on his spear. Though it seemed to the surprise of Tristan and Leon that there was more to Tristan than meets the eye.
Leon looked alittle puzzled as he didn't discern anyone from anyone else no matter how they looked. Tai continuesly explains to Leon that he isn't human, but the boy still doesn't understand. Tai was still thinking to himself on the subject of Tristan being a Crusnik. Leon in his childish innocent manner spoke up first.
"Whats a. . . Crusnik?"
Tai looked at Leon coming back out of his own little mind battle about the situation. And descided since Leon asked Tristan he would not be rude and interupt. Allowing Tristan to answer. But after Tristan told Leon he would speak.
"Tristan when this storm comes and what little effects actually reach us, I need you to understand that no matter how ugly it may look, or how much pain Leon is in, there is nothing either of us can do except be here and wait it out with him."

Tristan turned to face Leon, "I am. Crusnik's are the vampires of vampires...Me and an uncle of mine are the only naturally birthed Crusnik's around right now...The rest, if you see one, are lab babies. We're essentially the Blade's of the world." Was the answer he had to offer. Blade refering to the comic and movie trilogy with Wesly Snipes.
When Tai spoke, a simple "I understand." was Tristan's response. The same sort of thing happened to the hunter when he used his Seoligna and took in too much energy...well...the fact that Tristan was in excrutiating pain any way.
Tristan walked down the hall a ways, and looked around the corners for more company. No one was there, and he waved his friends over. "If it's going to be that bad, we should get even lower...below one of the generators might be a good idea...They don't run on basic electrical energy."

The most recent storm that was among the memory of these events had almost completely enraged Leon, one from the Sudeki clan is very intune tot he skies, and if the nature has a certain 'Feeling' it can reflect on them and with their magic increasing and decressing as rapidly as that they become very entune with it. So moving lower would help greatly.
"Yes lower would be better."
They could start walking right nwo and it wouldn't matter, Leon's hair would spike out quickly as if it where trying to rip itself out of his head, it would continuesly move as if trying to wiggle itself free. He would be stuck in place and his teeth clenched, his eyes went wide and slowly he began to glow. His eyes would lose their retina and color turning white as one could hear the growling noise coming from him as it began to take effect.
"Getting behind something would be a good idea."
Tai would say from behind a corner he had found to duck behind hoping to stay out fo range. First was the overload part to it, which was what he was building up to. As the glow got to an extreme after a minute or so it finally exploded outwards a few good feet from his body in all directions, but stopped, it then turned around and struck the lightning boy, hard. Thunder clapping through the whole lower regions of the academy. which would cause him to scream out in a stomach churning manner, falling to his knees, but there was more, as steam began to rise from his body, he was pulled to his feet, and then off them in mid air, slowly his limbs where spread apart like a doll.
Blue orbs of energy began to appear in places as his eyes where still white, soon it appeared as if he where struggling to get free from invisible chains on his ankles and wrists. the blue orbs began to circle him slowly then picking up the pase, finally they began to rip through him one after the other if an orb hit a body part it went limp and fell, until everything had been hit and he fell to the ground.
Finally the last part to the usual attacks whihc take many hours to finsih. an unconciouse attack on his body and magic proceeds from here, as his body screams his mind fights, and his spirit deminishes. He is slwoly lifted off the ground by what appears to be a lightning bolt between him and the ground he is laying on, it looks as though it penatrates all the way through which makes him react by giving out one last pain infested scream, all this lasting about 3 hours (Yes just think of everything happening really slow.). finally he is dropped to the ground out cold. No glow, hsi eyes rolled into the back of his head, steam raising from his body, and his hair laying down against his head perfectly.

"Right." He was about to walk away to try and find Room 101, when Tai said something els. "Huh?" Then he saw Leon: "Oh Fuck." He rounded a corner and drew his blade. The diamond could deflect and stray lightining that would shoot off of the boy. Tristan stabbed his sword into the ground and kneeled behind it, infront of Tai, in relevence to Leon any way.
After a while, it looked like it was over....Nope...Just the first part.
It got to a point where Tristan just sat. His back to his sword. And waited. "He is going to be ok right?" Tristan asked of Tai a few times, and through the screams and blasts of mana, the hunter fell asleep against his sword. After all, Tai did say there was nothing they could do.
FINALLY. It ended. The Crusnik peered around his blade to see if there were any silent sparks still flying about...Nope...Nothin'. "Ok...So...While I carry his ass around, you mind telling me what the hell that was about?" He asked of Tai, drawing his sword from the cement, and walking out from around the corner toward Leon.
As the answer would be given, Tristan would throw the boy over his left shoulder, Shireiutz in his right hand, and walk back down the hall as he originally intended.

After it was all over Tristan asked a simple, yet very complicated question. Even Tassader had a sketchy understanding of it, but he did know the story behind the Sudeki clan. So it was time he figured to tell a little story.
"Hmmm. . . Some time ago there was a man, named Gravis Sudeki. They say he made an oath with nature to serve eternally if granted the power of the impurities of it. He was granted power of Lightning and the Electrical elements. And like any other man he got merried and a family. Gravis never suspected his oath would be contracted to his offspring. With each new offspring they become more intuned with electricity and become more elemental than human. They became a clan secluding themselves with a magical berrier from the rest of the universe. But some of the Sudeki clan did not aprove of using their Rah-Ken magic to help nature, they wanted power, greed is a terrible thing humans are burdened with."
Tai would follow Tristan, but keep telling the tale of the end of the Sudeki clan.
"This caused strife between the families in the clanand soon a war broke out. They say the terrible storm that night was so powerful it could of ripped the earth in two. From my understanding Leon is the only one left, but there have been intinces where we can feel the presence of another, but this boy is the only one I know of effected by nature, maybe its a curse for breaking the oath, or maybe these storms are not storms at all. They could be attacks on Leon from this other maybe from an apposeing Sudeki family branch. We do know Leon's father, mother, and brother where all on the side that helped nature, since they where the only headstones in the village."
After telling his long story he would most likely be quiet for a while.

Tristan listened, walking along and going down another flight of stairs, this time they were relatively wide, and could accomodate Tassadar rather easily. When the story finished, "Hmm. So basically, lightning to Leon, is Vampires blood to me. In excessive quantities, we overload like he just did." A comparative thought that could be seen as a rather similar situation.
"Only...Crusnik's simply get insane powerboosts and have the ability to use our ultimate weapon." The next hallway ended, and a few more vampires came into view....More than a few. "We heard the Crusnik was around, and thought we'd take him down...for the sake of Hominous Nocturna." One male vampire of the dozen or so said. "Heheheh, daaamn right. Can't take all of us Crusnik!" The same shmuck from before.
"I don't know...He's kinda cute...for an old guy. And look, he's brought us dinner. How sweet." A rather busty female vampire stepped out from the gaggle. "Ahh, fuck." Tristan turned to Tassadar then. "What do you wanna do? We can probably take another way, but they know this place better. Or, you can hold Leon...and I get dinner." His choice. The hunter didn't really care either way...He wasn't thirsty, though he could use a nice refreshment after that three hour wait while Leon cooked himself.

Tai put Leon higher up on his shoulder and extended one of his electrical wrist blades. He took a half step back, and thought for a split second, and then spoke to Tristan.
"I'll protect Leon."
He would stand and protect Leon, though anything that came near him would find that the wrist blade didn't stay any one single size. He had taught Leon a little trick he called Blood Runner, as it extends a weapon with energy.

Tristan nodded and turned back to the...close on a dozen vampires. "Heard that fuckers? You all get to die now." He pulled ebony from the right side of his vest. Stabbing his blade into the ground, he replaced the clip with the singular clip of silver he had for each gun on him at all times. He then did the same for Ivory, and put the black .45 back in its holster. He held the white gun in his right hand and drew his Commander of Attack from the ground. He slowly walked forward, his eyes cold and emotionless as Tai held the still out cold Leon.
Boom. Tristan's speed doubled and he was now in the back of the group. Four vampires fell in half. There'd only been a slight blur as Tristan blasted past the bunch, killing those four...or had he? The upper bodies were still alive, and the rest were freaking out. "H-holy shit, man...When the fuck did he get that fast?" He stuttered, staring as his screaming companions split bodies. "KILL HIM!!" And the rest rushed the Crusnik who put two silver bullets in each of three heads, holes burned through their skulls as they dropped.
His elements began charging then and the 'leader' (darkred text) was blown away by a beam of fire element. Seven bullets used, eight vampires down for the count. Tristan liked that count as he blasted forward again, using his chakra to full effect, slashing straight up through the one female vampire, her screaming until her larynx was opened up. The hunter spun and removed the head from the last vampire, the shmuck. He stabbed down into three of the vampires that had suffered Tristan's first attack, and shot the last one.
He began partially transforming. Just enough so that he wouldn't be exhausted as a human, but to the point where he could absorb the vampire blood. And he did so. Every drop of blood drained out of what was left of the corpses and flew into Tristan's mouth, red eyes glowing above it. His wings hadn't come forth, and that was what made him physically and mentally tired when he became human again. "Let's go. Room one- oh- one should be around here somewhere." He said to Tai. The fight had been over so quick that the vampires never got past that initial line of where they had been standing.
Once Tai and Igneus had come to him, Tristan would turn around and keep walking down the hall that the vampires had been blocking. As far as Tristan knew, room 101 was another dozen floors down. Hopefully the storm wouldn't reach them there. Makes you wonder how they avoided storms before he came to the Academy. Igneus projected to his partner. The dragon had been on Tristan's shoulder the entire time, motionless and silent, until Tristan went to fight, then he simply took flight and hovered in place, a few feet infront of Tassadar.
As much of a hunter as Tristan was, he didn't like killing on Babylos. Even if they weren't students of the Academy, they'd had to have been mages of some sort to get access to the city.

Tassader let the electric wrist blade slip back into the guantlets on his arm. He followed quietly behind Tristan, Leon began to move a bit, so he was coming to as it where. Still Tai didn't think it would of lasted that long... Sure they took long times before, but that was the longest yet, and it had happened so soon after the previous one. Either way soon enough Leon would be awake.
"What will we find at room 101?"
Tai didn't feel like being surprised right now, as his partner was slightly unconcious right now. Kinda a bad place and bad time to be in that state.

Headed to another staircase going down, Tristan spoke up, "Room one-oh-one is the observation room. It's heavily shielded to protect it from environmental factors and should cut off the storm entirely. Basically thats the place where every thing going on in the world is monetered. And I mean everything." He maneuvered Shireiutz around the fairly narrow pathway, his boots clunking heavily on the stone steps. "So if these storms are attacks from the other Sudeki, why don't you two just kill them? I mean if these 'attacks' drain Leon, kill the source." He offered. Mainly it was a ploy to get more information, but he was also interested in what was going on.
The end of these storms would also ultimately help Babylos as well. Doubtless this storm, which would probably not normally exist with how high above the ground the city was, is causing some damage within the city. The academy itsself was heavily protected, but the city was no more shielded than the rest of the island. A few minutes later they had gotten out of that flight of stairs and were heading down another set, hopefully it wasn't too far more.
After all those first set of stairs had been excessively long.

"We can't find the source, we have tried to track it before, many times, but each time we are either too late, or lose 'Signal'."
Tassader followed Tristan some more. Since he was already involved in such matters, Tai didn't see a reason to keep it from him, and it was better than waiting through Leon to tell the story. Of course Leon is so pure of heart, mind, and body he prolly wouldn't understand what a 'secret' was even if Tai explained it to him.

Tristan thought for a moment. How to keep up with the signal. I can teleport them there if I've been to the location before. Igneus offered, and Tristan vocalized. "Well, if Igneus or I have been to where ever the source is located, we can teleport to it and kill it. I assume it's a person, so it shouldn't be that hard." Another flight of stairs and there was finally an actual door. It wasn't what they were looking for, it was just a lab, but they were apparently getting close.
"How do you track it any ways? I mean if we ask the tracers, one of the lower ranks might be able to help us out. Boost the signal or something." Now he was just shooting out random ideas but any bit might help.

"Well, in essence all Sudeki share the same electrical current, and therefore by tracking one you simultaniousely track the other. Leon can do that by feeling the low charge that all Sudeki give out periodically. He has a range limit, but it also seems these storms have a range limit too. But it alwasy hides or seems to disappear."
Leon started to stur more and opened his eyes, his hair began to spike again and the low glow of electricity returned to his body. The random feel of magic floating in the air allowed him to recover rather quickly. Usually Tai would have to 'feed' him some energy. Tai put him down and they shared a moment of mental speach and Tai was returned to the dimension he came from.
"He needed... Rest."

"Well, Igneus might still be able to help." Tristan said, simply walking along until the elemental stopped. Turning around, he saw the big bastard dissipating. Of course, that raised an eyebrow. It sank back down when Leon made his comment. Enough of an explanation Tristan supposed, though it left much to be desired, since Tai hadn't exactly done much.
"Any ways, like I was telling the big guy," Tristan said, turning back around, "Igneus can help you get to the one who's sending out the storm. If either of us have been to where he's sitting, or even close to it, Igneus can teleport the four of us there and we can take him out." Walking along the corridor, Tristan spotted a set of double doors at the end of the hallway with guards posted at either side. "We're here...I think." The man called back, picking up pace slightly.
"Who are you and what's your business?" One of the armed guards said. He looked like a knight ripped right from his post at the vatican a couple of hundred years ago. "Tristan Knightrhode and Leon." He didn't know Leon's last name, "My friend here is a lightning mage and the storm outside is having some...adverse effects on him. We're just looking to wait it out." The guard looked to his co-worker, for lack of a better term, on the other side of the doors. That guard shrugged his shoulders slightly and the original man spoke up, "Alright, just make sure to stay out of the way. The observation room can get busy."
Tristan nodded and looked to Leon for a second before opening the doors to room 101, revealing its insanely massive contents. As the crusnik walked in, "...Damn."
