Get Firefox 2.0 from Mozilla. It's the "hostess with the mostess" so to speak. It's got a built in spell checker, so anything you type incorrectly has this red line under it, then all you have to do is right click and it brings up a list of suggestions. It beats the shit out of the pro boards spell-check tool. Besides that, you can get a ton of wicked add-on tools. I've got some for coding and crap, but I'm rambling now.
