Leon entered the library with a sorta stunned look on his face. He knew the importance of writting, but the elder had died, before he had a chance to learn to read. So unsure of how to go about his day in the library, he just simply sat down with some random book and opened it up. There where interesting pictures everynow and then, but nothing he understood at all. He also happened to be holding it upside down.

Book Worm's Worst Nightmare
Nose in book.
That's what Hakfu was doing, just reading, as he walked throughout the library, determined to find an empty table, ocassionally bumping into things as he did, due to his lack of checking, and focus on reading.
"..Therefore, by maintaining the magical shield, the electrical quality of it should effectively act as an effective dampener on magical attacks, and a reflector for metal weapons, or bullets."
Unconciously sitting down, as he finished up this sentence, he dropped the book on the table and yawned, stretching his arms out as he did. As his head went back to its normal position, however, he saw someone reading a book upside down.
..?
Delicately, with his right hand, and an interested smile on his face as he observed the fellow, he pointed at the book.
"Eh.. 'Fourty-Five Different Water Spells'? Haven't seen that around.. being read upside down."
Covering his mouth, at the error, he slapped his hands together before himself, and bowed his head, his head just hovering inches above the table.
"Forgive me, that was rude!"
Hakfu raised his head and bowed it several times.
"I beg your forgiveness!"
Ah... even on this floating rock, he still couldn't let go of all of his Chinese mannerisms..

The Priest walked in. The librarian immediatly snapped her head up, and then back down, her face awash with a red tint, and her mouth still somewhat in an expression of awe. He was huge, he could forgive her.
The man walked around, checking the filling system, until he noticed a few men sitting. One was make an obeisance filled apology, the other... reading a book, upside down.
He shrugged, and continued looking down the books. He found the one he was looking for:
The Dummy's Guide to Controlling the Dead
Indeed, a good read.
He sat down, about 10 feet from the other two, and began to read the book, his jacket somewhat open, and his two holsters with their weapons inside showing, he began to read the book.

Not sure at how to react to the sudden overheard information of the person reading a bit outloud. But he was alittle fascinated by the idea. Bullets where something he felt he may need to look into. Then the guy adressed the book it would seem from where his eyes went. by the mention of water Leon dropped the book like a disease. He stood up quickly. The guy had been appologizing for his wortds and probably didn't notice this.
Leon would hold up his hands and wave them back and forth as well as shake his head. Then since he couldn't make his point any other way he would have no other choice, but to speak, so it was very short. And it was straight to the point. Quickly he put his hands down and held a smile.
"I can't read."
Simple enough, but how would he take the news? Oh well, he was after all raised in a cave with an old man, i mean how away from it all can you get?

Spells and Reading
Raising his head a little, his hands slipped away from each other. Had he heard right? Carefully, he looked at the young boy's eyes, and quickly looked away, careful not to not cause the boy any unneccesary embaressment. But it was enough. From that glance... he saw sorrowful eyes, despite the young man's generally nonchalant demeanor. But... his voice was a little timid. In turn, he tried to avoid eye contact, but, to his right, he saw a giant of a man. Great. To avoid staring at either of them, he then just did as his Chinese nature called for him to do, and nodded.
".. I see."
Looking down at the dropped book, he was curious... whoever this guy was, he apparently had a distaste for water. Did it go against his element or something, or did he just hate it? If it was the first, then... an electrical mage, perhaps? Best not to assume. Okay... how to go about this? His slow uptake on hearing the news was probably already enough to show that he was shocked. Better not to ask anymore questions. Putting up both his hands onto the table, he pushed himself up, his eyes closed.
".. Well, looks like we'll have to amend that. Tell me.."
His eyes opened up, and he smiled gently at the young man.
"What's your name, and what's your magic specialty? As a scholar, I can't just sit and let you go with your potential so drastically minimized by such a small obstacle."
His left hand raised up as he gave the man a thumbs up and a firm smile.
"I'm Hakfu Song. Nice to meet you."

Noticing the persons need to not make eye contact for the moment and the simple no answer for the longest of time Leon could assume this shocked him. Now he had a problem. He wanted Leon to talk more. Very uncomfurtable to him. But if he wanted to get anywhere in this school he would need to talk a bit anyways, right? So he would look to the table and put his hand out to where the palm was straight up. He would flash a couple of sparks around on the table before they would disappear as they where ubsorbed into the naturel energy of things. Then he would speak his name back to the man named Hakfu.
"Leon Sudeki."
Leon would take the hand he used for that simple enough spell and hold his own thumbs up, the black glove with the simple metal plate below the knuckles very obviouse. Though the glove did have a strategic use as well. But that was only for emergencies. Now obviousely his reason for not liking water would be obviouse. He was an electric elemental. He didn't play nice with water, even if he wasn't using the magic he was cursed with inheriting a naturel electric field from his families blood line. Thats why his hair was always spiked up.

A New Friendship..?
His eyes watched, as Leon sprayed a little bit of sparks onto the table, a smile returned. He gave the man a nod.
"So, you are an electrical user. Well met, Leon. Here, give me a moment.."
Reaching into his side pouch, at his left, he picked up a pencil and paper and began to scribble rather quickly onto it. Hakfu paused at points, and then resumed scribbling, until he had a nice paragraph, with hand gestures underneath, with a step-by-step instruction. He showed it to Leon.
"Eh... I can't use magic myself, only through summons, but, this is the original spell, if you'd be interested. Its electrical, so, it should fit nicely."
He then flipped it around, and began reading the contents..
"Boost: This spell electrically increases the speed of the effected person, and can only be used on one target at a time. It works by increasing the electrical pulses in the nervous system, thereby increase reaction time and speed."
"To begin, you must fist your hands, except for your two forefingers, and keep them erect. Raise your right hand up to your nose, and slip your left hand's forefingers into space between your thumb and your first forefinger. Focus about 4.5 decibels of your energy into these forefingers."
He demonstrated thus, quickly doing so, then, doing it again, in slow motion. Another nod and a smile.
"Aim your combined hand position, and either keep it upright to select yourself, or aim it at your comrade to select your comrades. Then, you must issue the prayer: "Divinity graces, acceleration. Yathos sun Vra und praethee." Upon completion of the prayer to lightning, it will eject an electrical pulse at the selected person, or swirl around inside yourself, increasing speed, as mentioned above. It will hurt a little, but pain will subside after the intial shot."
He then continued to show an example of performing it on himself, and then, shooting it at Leon, without shooting it.
Grin.
"Well, since you can't read, I thought I'd start you off with a spell, and give it to you to study the words written."
Nodding again, he put it on the table in front of them, and pivoted it, so that it would face Leon. This would hopefully be an encouragement to read. With a combination of visual examples draw on the paper, a verbal example with his words, and a display of the spell itself, he thought it may ease in starting to learn the words. He walked around the desk, to over where Leon was, and waved at the stranger across, because for an odd reason, he was in a good mood. He then bent over the desk, looking at the paper, and then back at Leon, to see how he would respond to this.

Leon raised an eye brow as he watched the guy Hakfu scribble on a paper, or at least, thats what it looked like to Leon. He awaited and it would seem, he was going to be taught a new spell as it was. So he would try to follow along with the motions without concentrating at all, and just try to get it down, but one thing he would need to know was that encantation, or preyer as the guy put it. After they where done with that Hakfu showed Leon the paper.
Looking apon it he was still a bit confused, but it did start to make Leon curiouse. If this paper held such information for a spell, did the other books hold papers just the same? Well maybe Leon could ask to be taught to read. Hopefully he could learn amazing new things that way. Of course Leon began to think. If his normel electrical impulses where higher than everyone elses because of his family blood line, then what would happen if he used boost on himself?
Looking down at the paper after sitting back down, Hakfu had came over as well. Leon was too into trying to make the seperate words into the speech the guy Hakfu had said. He would point to a word every now and then and look to Hakfu with a questioning look. Which would indacate a wonder to what the word was. He was too caught up in the paper to notice Hakfu beckon the other person over, and even to look at the other person Leon didn't even know he was there.

Teaching to Read
"Yes, and this one is pronouced 'T', which can be prounced as a 'Th' sound in the word 'The', or 'Ta' in the word 'Taught'. Right, you got it."
Leon was a fast learner. This was perhaps.. one of the most satisfying experiances that Hakfu had ever had. Finally, he could help someone, instead of just... being beat up on, like, back in the orphanage, when he was still underage. The twenty-seven year old summoner smiled, and responded accordingly to Leon's questions, prodding him gently on, silently excited at how much progress was being made at such a short rate. Lucky for him, the orphanage taught him how to spell in both English and Chinese.. but then, English was used everywhere.
He continued to point out the words, and Hakfu continued to explain them. There was a lot of free time on his hands, and, he didn't mind reviewing one of his better spells.
"Eject, spelled 'E', 'J', 'E', 'C', 'T'."
There was infinitie patience in the both of them, it seemed.. but... he wondered. As Leon finished reading it (with errors) for the third time through, with guidance, Hakfu prodded Leon's shoulder.
"Good progress, Leon. Tell me when your done with this one. There's been a spell I've been reading up on, to add to my summon's repetoire of abilities.. if your interested, of course."
The words went over and over in his head, but, he looked to his side, and got out a book, and, getting to the bookmarked page, read through it again, as Leon continued, to freshen himself up a little for this.

Of course Leon was interested in a summoning spell. He had only seen it done once and it almost made him jump out of his skin, he wouldn't mind seeing let alone learning something about such a spell. So once he went through the spell once more trying not to make any errors he finished. He got to learn some words and familierized himself with sounds to the characters. Of course he was still a very slow reader, but he was getting the hang of it, of course he would most likely encounter the rules to the english language on paper soon, which will be difficult for him to read.
So then he turned back to Hakfu and actuelly spoke. His word was quick, but understandable enough.
"Finished."

A Stubborn Refusal, A Stubborn PersistenceTaking a deep breath, he waited for a bit. Two fingers slipped onto his eyes, pressing them closed, Hakfu Song concentrating. He stood there, with his forefingers on his eyelids, as if in a trance. When he spoke, he did not seem to be Hakfu anymore... an echoing undertone of someone young, yet, etheral.: "... So this is the boy? You are sure?"Hakfu in turn, responded with his own voice."Of course it is. We've only just met, and he's already a would-be scholar. You'll get along just fine..": "We shall see. Let me look at the boy."Without responding back, Hakfu took his fingers off his eyes, staring at Leon, circling around the table as he did. However... it was not Hakfu. The eyes were glowing.. it was not human, what looked at Leon. Dramatically closing his eyes, the response came in.: ".. He looks unlearned. You remember why I asked to be your summon, hmm, Hakfu Song of the Hakfu Clan?"The voice in response was a little more bitter and forceful, an otherworldly grunt taking place at the end of his lecture:"Either take him or leave him. You, a Protoss who is not even an Archon yet, you, a Protoss, who is still of pure corperol form.. your stubborness to take this as a learning oppurtunity disappoints me!"Then, there was silence, as Hakfu stopped behind Leon in his chair. He put both his hands on the young man's shoulders."This summon is a Protoss known as Tai. He is not as strong as some of my summons, but, he does not require as much energy to summon out. I'll introduce you, personally. Give me a moment. I'm connecting you two now."Tai, the Electric SummonEnergy flowed through Hakfu's hands, and into Leon, through his shoulders.. a void of blackness surrounded them both, and yet, they were still sitting, as if they were still in the same room. As it was from any onlooker... they were. Their minds, however, were not. Hakfu released his grip, in this black void, of what appeared to be space, as stars began to shine through all around them. However, they were in a void, near no star. Walking ahead of Leon, he turned around, his right hand beckoning to lead them on.: "There is no need. I have come myself."Ahead of them, a small, distant image of what appeared to be a man in brilliant gold armor was approaching them. However, as his long strides came closer and closer... it was obvious he was no man. His legs, double joined, allowed for him to take long strides, to be quick, to stand tall above all, but, he walked normally, his first knees sharply resting in the back. No mouth, glowing slits of what appeared to be this enigma's eyes, and two sharp, claw-like hands.. the covering on his wrists blasting out, to reveal the holes to be electronic wrist-blades.
As he was five feet in front of the two onlookers, he stretched out his legs, to full length, reaching a 8 feet, 4 inches in height, compared to his bent down 6 feet, 5 inches with the first knee's resting. Hakfu nodded, walking between the two, then taking to the side, as he extended his hands to gesture to both of them. There was a seriousness in his face, but a look of intrigue as well."Leon, this is Tassadar of the Temple, known as short as 'Tai'. His people ocassionally let themselves be summoned by people such as you and me, to gain a more formal learning of other creatures.. as he is part of the universe, you need not worry if his 'corperol body' should be destroyed, as, that is just the energy used by both you and him to connect him to our world. However, they will only allow one of their selves, otherwise known to as as 'Protoss', be summoned to a summoner. My.. summons are of the same summon or 'deity'.. just of three different versions."Tai: "You know of course.. what you summon in its three forms are a perversion of our services to the other sentinents."A slow uptake came from Hakfu as he nodded slowly at the Protoss 'lesser deity'."I am aware of this. I knew not of what I did. But come.. that can wait later.. please, though, formalities, good friend."Tai nodded, and bowed formally at both of the men, but gave Leon a more unsure look, as best as the flaps of 'bare eyebrows' could rise over his left 'eye'. Hakfu nodding at this gesture, nodded in turn again, this time to Leon."As of late, I have been delving into this 'void' again, but, I was contacted by Tai here.. he asked if he could be my summon, to destroy my.. as he says, 'perversion' of their gifts to our 'sentinent race', but, you are more suitable then I, and much younger, Leon.. which is why I ask: Would you be willing to accept Tai as your summon? ... That is, of course, if Tai is willing to accept this?"Tai looked at Hakfu shrewdly, lowering himself down to his resting position, as both awaited this man's delegation, while, Tai, finally deciding, bowed again to Leon.Tai: "Very well, I am willing to accept this offer of summoner bondage.. in your world, he looked much more blurry. Here, he at least shows... some promise."An angry stare from Hakfu however, made the Protoss quiet down.. strange as it was, for a sentinent to boss around a 'Deity', and perhaps, more confusing a fact was of how the Protoss spoke without even having a 'mouth'. Would Leon accept this skeptical Deity to be his summon?

Watching as Hakfu circled around as himself, then not, then again himself. It was alittle odd for Leon so he had been preparing a spell of sorts to get himslef out of here. But he did not even when Hakfu stopped behind him. with that he was seemed to be pulled into the recesses of his own mind combined with Hakfu's and then another otherworldly place. Leon being formel to his best nodded back to both of them as they did him. A small disdain in Tai's voice against Leon made him raise a brow in awe at this being. then there was Hakfu who seemed to have 'Controle' over this 'Diety'.
But as Tai had agreed Leon bowed his upper body and spoke as he did so dare. He was alittle nervouse to say the least. To gain the combination of a Summon and an odd sense of learning for the both people Leon spoke his choice. It was not difficult to know what he was going to say, but in so little words did he express it.
"Agreed, I except."

The Bond and the SummoningThe Protoss nodded, a satisifaction in its voice, finally overcoming the skepticalness.Tai: "Then it is decided."He walked towards Leon, extending his right hand, taking Leon's hand in turn, grasping into what was a firm handshake, but, there was a note of gentleness. A resurgence of electrical energy came from Tai, from his whole being, going through his hand into Leon's being, disappearing quietly, into Leon, as the room returned back into focus. Hakfu went to the other side of the table and sat down, panting, a roll of sweat going down his forehead. The.. 'connection' between that world and the 'void' was more tiring that it actually seemed.. but, there was still something to do.
Sitting up, Hakfu nodded to his own hands."The bond between you and Tai is complete.. but, there is a hand motion you must use, as well as a seventh of your capacity to summon him, which must be focused in your hands throughout the summoning ritual prayer."Quickly showing him, he cross his arms at the wrists, the first two forefingers glowing slightly with some electrical energy. But, he was not actually summoning Tai.. so, there was a mental note of how much less energy that shined through. He then flipped his hands so that the palms faced each others, and slid them across each other, while maintaining the two forefingers on both hands erect, until they were about a a foot and a half away from each other. He then fisted his hands, and punched at the ground. He repeated this several times, to make sure Leon could get this."You must, however, shoot the summoning energy out of your hand. Tai will appear, not instantly, but, a portal shall open for him on the ground, and.. if my studies are correct, a corperol form will begin to construct itself... all that's left for you to do is to make sure you use him, as only by using him will his weaker, 'corperol form' ever grow stronger, and strengthening his presence here on this world. All that's left for you to do now is agree with him on what structure of strengths and weaknesses he should have..."OOC: Pick how you wish to distribute his stats points into one another.

Leon shook firmly and felt the energy join in him. He felt it pool through his body and into his being itself. He followed Hakfu's motions, trying to memorize it best he could. He also listened to the explanation on the strengthening the summon named Tai, and helping it learn things here it would seem.
In Leons mind Tai and him, both had come to an agreement on his strengths and weaknesses and what he couldn't cover, Leon could, so they where good to go. but onw question roamed in Leons mind. Hakfu seemed more than he appeared, so this brought an interesting question to his mind. but he let it go, he was not one to pry.
"Thank you for all you have taught me."
There it was. Longest sentence spoken to Hakfu. Or even in his pressence.

A Scholar's Satisfaction
No. Leon had not learned how to read everything... but, the symbols were recognizeable to him, at least, now. Adept.. he would learn on his own, unless a teacher helped prod him along, or, if they met again. A spell and a summon. Just in case, he wrote down the instructions to summon Tai, along with more handmovements shown, folded it up, and gave it to Leon with a persuasive smile. Actually, there had been another spell he had been wanting to teach him, but.. there was some skepticallity on if it was real or not.
His eyes lifted to where the 'Priest' looking man was. A grin. He turned back to Leon, moving his own neck a little, getting the kinks out, and then smiled.
"Your welcome. I have however.. one last spell, if your interested, but.. I'm uncertain if its real or not. Excuse me.."
He pushed himself off the table, and then walked over to the giant again. Every step was more foreboding then the last. This man was... a really huge giant. But, keeping his cool, he leaned over the desk, where where the 'Priest' was reading The Dummy's Guide to Controlling the Dead, and poked the giant on the shoulder a little. But, his mind was already at work. This man... was a necromancer, or something..
"Hey there, can I ask you to join me and my friend in the training room? I want to try out this spell, but, I assure you, it'll be worth your time.. if your up for the challange."
His head looked over to where Leon was.
"Are you interested? Good chance to practice our skills!"
Practice.. that was a good word for it. In truth, Hakfu Song had been eager to use some of his own spells that he had learned in the Academy in his own free time. There was.. a desire to test out these new, destruction-based magics.. even if Hakfu didn't admit it to himself.
