Searching for Answers

Junpei let off a soft gust of air and tipped his chair back, resting his feet on the edge of the table he leaned back adn looked up at the ceiling, pondering Lucian's question.

"I would assume so, but i don't work with runes, at all, so i wouldn't know. Summon circles and runes are totally different. With mine it's just a series of symbols combined to form one bigger symbol, with yours each is individual and ever changing. Liek I said, I would assume so, but that is onyl because i have seen summon circles, made differently, that still do the saem thing."

Junpei rocked forward suddenly and grabbed his book, an idea had just hit him. Flipping to page 165 in his Advanced Wordology book Junpei slamemd the bookdown and stood up ratehr sudeenly.

"AH HA! I KNEW IT! If we take your current runes, erase the ink using magic, adn then remake them from the book, we can possibly DOUBLE you power. Of course this is all theory, and I would need sme time to check it out.. but perfect runes can amplify magic. Hense why when you make a quick, sloppy rune it doesn't work as well as a well planned, well made one.... I think we may have solved at least your problem of getting new tatoos...."

[Lucian]

A faint grin spread across Lucian's features, "Interesting, but the ink these runes were tattooed in a from a rare plant. As far as I know it has no name, I was hoping I could find a reference to it somewhere in these books but I haven't gotten anything yet. Maybe I should try some potion books, they're bound to have lengthy lists and descriptions of various ingredients," Lucian's eyes sparkled with the challenge of discovering a way to perfect the runes on his left arm.

"Hmmm... maybe that woudl be best..."

Junpei reached over and scratched Loish across the back adn then went back to his own books, maybe in one of them there woudl be reference to that plant Lucian was talking about, just maybe. WHo knew what it was though. It would have to be powerful enough to hold magic, yet soft enough to be groundinto an ink.... Junpei was stumped right now. Letting Lucian figure this part out would be easier, so that's what Junpei did.

Lucian nodded, "Thank you for your help Junpei it is most appreciated," he said as he stood up and set off on his quest to find potion ingredient books.

Junpei nodded and flipped back into his dark arts book, he realyl wanted to get his dark arts studies done, for if he got his private lesson.. he would indeed become a more powerful mage. Junpei smiled on the inside and Loish looked over at him as if he were insane.


Just go back to sleep.

Reaching up to bite on his thumb nail Junpei looked down at the seal before him, maybe this would let him summon something more powerful...
