"Hah! Foudn you. You bloody little thing. Found you at last!" A triumphant yell echoed through the are of the Acadmy Corsair was at. He had a very large smile on his face and the eyes that were focused on the book were wide with excitment.
After months of searching he had finall found what he was looking for. The location of the lightning rune. It was in the Europian countryside near some mountains in a large cave. His excitment began with the first book that hinted this. After finding the same thing mentioned in five other books he was no longer ready to dispute the fact and was soon picking up his runes from their glass bowl he used to store them in.
He headed down to Midori's dormatory room and found she wasn't there. he left a note. Midori. I finally found the location of the next rune. I'll be down at the telaporter. Please meet me there as soon as you can. I don't plan to leave without you. Another person should be joining us as well.
Love, Corsair
He left the note on her door then headed to where Vayne slept. After their battle he knew the knight would be helpful and he had mentiond he wanted to come along. He found the room and at the moment Vayne wasn't in. not surprising as it was the middle of the day. Both of them probably had other things to do.
Vayne. We spoke of the runes I seek before our deul. You said that since there were likely to be demons and so forth you would like to come along. Please meet me and Midori by the teleporter if you wish to still come along.
Corsair,
After his notes had been left he headed to get some food and then to the teleporter. He had brought the book he found he location in along with him and started reading it while waiting for his two friends and companions to arrive. He would most likely need the help they would give. And in turn for this he was now ready to help them at ay time. All he had to do now is wait.

Midori was returning from her favorite place. The small grove she had discovered on her journey to the academy on her first day. The very same one she and Corsair had shared a beautiful afternoon. She walked through the halls of the now familiar academy humming a tune to herself.
She opened the door to her garden room and inhaled the sweet scent of the flowers. She smiled as the butterfly came down to greet her and she fed it mana as she always did upon returning home from where ever she had been. The butterfly flashed a blue color again and went off among the growing flowers of the room. It was then Midori noticed the note under her door and she picked it up shutting the door behind her.
She opened the note and sat at her moss covered desk and smiled as she read it. And note from Corsair. He had found the next rune and wanted her along for the ....
Love?
Even with no one around she blushed at the word. Had he carelessly put it there or did he really mean it? She blushed again and held the note to her heart for a moment before she sat it aside and looked at what she was wearing. A denim skirt pleated with red fabric in the pleats. The shirt she wore was a very tight turtle neck of a black color. It would work well enough. Slipping her white tennis shoes on she ran with a smile on her face. Her loose green hair trailed out behind her.
The teleporters weren't very far. In fact, she remembered where they were exactly as she ran through the academy halls hoping she wasn't late. There was no way to know how long the note had been there and she didn't want Cor to be waiting that long. Reaching the teleporters without missing even a breath she threw herself up into his arms with a happy smile.
"Good afternoon!!" she said still regal and royal as always but with that excited fangril eque squeal. She kissed his cheek before jumping down out of his arms. "I hear rumor of a quest for a rune."

OOC: After your next reply to this let's wait for Vayne. i don't want to clutter the thread with no real progress and have him read through a whole bunch.
Corsair turned to see Midori running at him. He put his arms around her when she jumped at him and he smiled as he spun her around once and kissed her briefly. "Hello Midori. GLad you showed up. I was wondering how long i'd have to wait. Glad it wasn't long." He said and held her close. "It's going to be dangerous. I want you with me because we can handle it. But if you want to stay it's okay. But we have another person comeing who should be able to help us. Between three people it should be okay as long as we are careful. Thank you for coming though." he said then backed away still keeping his arms around her and looking into her eyes. He still couldn't get over how she affected him.

Giggling as he spun her in the air and kissed her Midori had a bright smile on her face. It was indeed going to be a great trip. She was eager to learn of this other person. To see just who he was. But for now she was lost in the world that Corsair gave her whenever they were together.
"I would not have it any other way. I want to be with you all the way." she said with a smile. "Together we can accomplish anything and with help we can accomplish more. You know I am with you."
When she was down on the ground once more she turned her back to Corsair and leaned against him slightly. Her back to his chest. This way he could still hold her if he wanted to but the best part was they could both see when the other member came to go with them.
((Okie dokie, no problem.))

Corsair and Midori waited for about a half-hour. he had his arms aorund her and he gently rested his chin on the top of her head. He sighed and shook his head. "I was hoping he'd show up by now. I'll leave the portal open as it is right outside the cave we need to go to. Mabey he'll join later." He said and held her hand and led her through the portal with him. When they came out the other side a gental breeze blew by them and the mouth of the cave looked as though they would try and consum them. "Hmm this should be highly interesting. Stay on guard Midori. I don't know what we'll face inside of here." He said

There was one thing that Midori could do all day and that was stay in Corsair's arms. She loved his arms around her and in fact a long time ago she had closed her eyes so that she could just relax and enjoy his soft touch. Yet when he moved and spoke her eyes opened and she nodded.
They had waited for half an hour without her even realizing it and she was shocked. But then again time with Corsair never seemed long enough. He took her hand and led her through the portal. Her green eyes looked around and she smiled. She was rather excited.
"I'm ready. If I'm with you, I think I'll be just fine." she said with a smile as she prepared herself to enter the cave with her boyfriend.

"Right. Well then let's head in." He said as his dAark armour appeared and his blades were already extended. "From what I read there are several creatures guarding this rune. We'll have to be highly careful." he said as they etered the cave. It was dark in there but still light enough to see. He wondered how deep the cave went. It was in the side of a mountain and there were not deatailsof the cave in the books. Corsair knew that the chance of this taking up the entire mountain was very real. And it wasn't a pleasing thought

Midori's eyes adjusted the the darkness of the cave. Even though the sun was not too far behind them the darkness in the cave was all consuming. She took Corsairs wrist since his blades were out. She wanted to be there with him and holding his wrist gently wouldn't hamper him in any way she could move quickly too if they needed to fight.
"I'm with you one hundred percent." she said softly as she looked ahead while they walked inside. "This could take a while. Do you know where the rune is supposed to be? A map maybe?" she ventured.

"No map. But the books say that there is a clear main path with many others smaller paths around. We should only have to follow the main path as even though several treasures are here. The thunder run is the most valuable in terms of majic power and wealth in here." He said contantly walking keeping his eyes closed and focusing on his rune that allowed him to see in 360 degrees around him.

Okay so there was no map. She chewed on her lower lip. A whole mountain and they were here just to find the one rune? She looked around and held Corsair's wrist a bit tighter.
"Okay, lets go." she said softly swallowing the lump that was forming in her throat. She was a bit scared. No map. Lack of provisions, and a lack of light. Just lovely.

"Don't worry. If we get too far in and can't make it back without trouble then we'll just leave for now. I'm not going to put us in any more danger than needed. We're here to get the rune and get out. If anything this will turn more into a scouting trip than a retrieval trip. I'm not going to risk us over this when it's not that important. Besides I can go without a new rune for a while. A new friend made one for me. It taxed her quite a bit so I'm not going to rely on her. But it does lessen the need for a new rune for a bit." He said.

As the words left Corsair’s mouth, 3 small creatures darted from one darkened passage way to the next. The sound of their scampering feet was accompanied an almost childlike laughter. But even with the 360 degrees sight, it was far to dark to really make out anything more than blurred shapes. The high pitched chuckling continued as 3 more of the undistinguishable blurs darted from another passageway, across to where the first had scampered from. Now the eerie laughter came from all around, echoing, making pinpointing the exact location of the creatures impossible.
Then, from another passageway, this time near the entrance, behind the couple, the firm and distinct sound of armored feet meeting the rocky floor echoed. “When the darkness consumes the light, then thou shalt look towards thine kin for warmth…” A course voice began to chime into the beat of the stepping sounds… As it spoke, the laughter diminished instantly… “And when thou hast run out of warmth, then look unto me, for I shalt bring forth my word, and with it smite all that is darkness… And though the path I carve, thou shalt once more see thine lord in all his radiance…” The voice was at this point distinct, a German accent thick throughout his words. Corsair would likely recognize the voice then, but it was unlikely that his friend would know the same comfort…
The figure stepped out of the hidden enclave he had been waiting in, and the light from outside caused him to become an indistinguishable figure, with a radiant glow about it’s edges. “And the lord doth say, that all is once more well…” Flicking his arms out to his sides, 6 silver stakes were held in his hands. At the blunt ends of the sharp instruments, there were well defined crosses as handles. The figure crossed it’s arms over it’s chest, and in a flash, a blinding light filled the room and it was finally revealed that the 6 small creatures were in fact, lower level imp demons. They cringed and screamed under the light, as it seared their flesh, causing smoke to rise from their bodies.
The figure finally swung its arms out violently, releasing the stakes which then soared through the air, and pierced the creatures in their chest’s, forcing their screams to an end, and engulfing them in flame. In mere seconds, they had disintegrated, and the light faded…
“Amen…” The voice finished. The figure then walked down the path towards the young couple. Moment’s later, the voice returned. “Pesky things imps… Not inherently dangerous… Unless you underestimate them…” He said as he held his arm up, generating a ball of light. This time much softer, yet it illuminated the entire room. “If there are imps here, then you can bet that there will be greater dangers deeper down” He added, now smiling under the warm glow in his palm. “I’m not late am I?” He asked with a grin. Vayne had finally appeared.

Corsair noticed small figures around he and Midori. They kept skirting the egdes of his spells limits so it made it hard to see them for any length of time. he could tell what they were though. "Just little imps. If they say back we should be fine." He said to midori sure that she could hear the creatures moving around.
Then Corsair noticed them simply vanish. As if they had been wiped forme existance. Then he heard a familiar voice. He turned and saw who he thought it was. "Well Vayne. I guess you are a bit late. But find comfort in this. If you hadn;t shown up at all this could be considerd early." Corsair said with a chuckle. he then realized Midori and Vayne probably hadn't met. "Midori this is Vayne. He's the guy I said would probably help us out. Vayne this is my girlfriend Midori. She said she'd like to come along and has some skills that could help us greatly." He said
