"Grags. I've got to get my spears, and my knife."
Roy stood up, fully healed by some elven healer, he presumed, and stretched a bit. His weapons had been brought in, apparently. his jacket and chest plate were laying near them, on a small table.
After gathering his gear, and returning it all to it's proper place, retracted spear on his waist, dagger in his boot, and The Spear of Judas strapped to his back.
"I saw one in my vsion. Where there's one, there's twelve. Grags always travel in packs, and they're ten feet tall and mean as hell."

Tristan listened to Roy with an iritated look on his face. "Thats...Fuckin great." He said, walking out side. [Get ready...Some ogre things are headed this way.] The hunter told Igneus. There was the sound of a mild explosion, crackling flame, followed by a spacious roar. The black dragon took off from his spot a ways off and landed near Tristan.
"Get on," He shouted to Roy, "We can see them from the sky." Tristan jumped onto Igneus' back. As soon as roy would do the same, Igneus took off and circled the area. "You know this place better than I do, see if you can find em." He would say past the wind rushing by their ears.

"I'll handle my own transportation. You need someone to lead you there. They're hours away on foot, and I know where they are. I can be there in two minutes."
Roy took a running start, as he went out the door of the hut, and screamed "Wind.....TAKE FLIGHT!"
With a torrent of wind, Roy shot off, and skimmed along the ground. He gained altitude, until he was around 50 feet up, and stayed at that altitude. Hopefully, Knight was following him.

Tristan plopped down on Igneus' back as he soared behind Roy. They were going well over eighty miles an hour and the wind was feirce. [Remind me to put a wind shield up here.] Tristan thought to the black dragon. Igneus rumbled with laughter as the three went on.
A few minutes later, the three soared over a troop of rampaging giant green turds...wait...thats not right. "Thats them I guess." Tristan said standing. He dove head first off of Igneus when they were about over the bunch. "KAMATAICHI!!" He roared, sending three solid, razor sharp air masses at the group. They stopped running long enough to make a sort of laugh and let the kamataichi bounce off their guts. "Thats...fuckin great." He said to himself, and manipulated the wind blades around to swing back at the ogresque things. "IGNITE!" He shouted and the three blades exploded with the same fury that had taken out Roy. When the smoke cleared, they were fine. "WHAT THE FUCK!?"
The hunter flipped himself feet first and drew his hand guns. He put ten rounds into one creatures head and holstered them again. He was about twenty feet off the ground by now and drew his sword. The one he was coming down on put up its club and wood sheild. Tristan's weight and speed combined with the insane sharpness of his sword sliced through the sheild, the arm, the club, and straight down through the grags skull.
Tristan landed, his sword having emerged from the bottom of the creature. It fell in half in a disgustingly bloody heap. Igneus had dove as well and was alternating between fire breath and claw swipes to do nothing and hack these things to bits.

When they saw Roy, they panicked.
"KILL.......ALUNDRA!"
After one Grag shouted that, they seemed to organize themselves slightly, as Roy dive-bombed out of the sky, impaling one of them on his heavy, iron spear.
They think I'm my uncle?
Hefting the spear out of the grag's skull, Roy turned and hurled it through another's skull, killing a second Grag. Forming a blast of wind at his feet, he launched straight at another, and impaled its head on his fist.
"Yeah.....come on.....KILL ME!"

Tristan hacked and slashed his way around the place. He managed to behead three more and one other was unable to fight but still alive. "Igneus, go!!" He shouted to the dragon who was too big to maneuver right around these things, and too small to crush them. It roared and lifted off. Tristan himself took to the air with a full force jump, backed by some wind.
"TEOLUS!" He shouted, going back to that whirlwind attack. He had put his full effort into it and it was huge. A little over thirty feet all and fifteen feet wide. "ROY GET OUT OF THERE!!" The deep voice would shout as Tristan took actual flight. Four of the remaining alive, and a couple of the dead were sucked into the vortex. Agonizing and blood curdling screams were heard as the feirce winds ripped the grags to shreds. "Ignite." He said in a normal voice, hoping Roy had vacated to the air.
The twister blew up in a magnificent flame, turning sand and dirt into glass which was flecked with blood, flesh, and bone. A gruesome sight, but they were done. The vortex ceased and there were a couple who escaped the ravishing hunger of the desintegrating whirlwind. Roy could take care of them. Ya gotta love magic.

Roy had taken flight once more, to avoid the effects of the whirlwind, and glass. Still in the air, he debated what to do next. His dagger was useless against Grags, and he only had....
The Spear of Judas.
He drew the spear, stabilizing it with both hands, and dive-bombed again, piercing a Grag's skull clean through. He pulled it out with a grunt, and thrust at one who had been behind him, preparing to strike.
It went clean through it's skull, and through another's. THe grags had been killed.
He retrieved his weapons, wiped the blood off, and sheathed them both.
"Knight.....I'm forming a faction at the Academy.....would you like to head one of the divisions?"

Tristan floated back down to earth and admired his glass whirlwind statue. "Eh?...Hmm...Yea why not." He said casually, then his voice turned to a harsh under tone, "Not like I get any business on that rock any ways." Refering to the fact that there was nothing to hunt of Babylos, and he had to stay pretty close to it for schooling purposes despite Igneus' teleportation ability.
He called Igneus down and jumped up to his perch behind the dragons head. As they would head back, Tristan would ask Roy: "Hey, you got any more of those spell books? I've got Air down!" As proof of that, the giant mishmosh of glass, bone, and flesh stood at that battlefeild, slightly dwarfing the nearby trees.

"I'm not talking about hunting, Knight. I'm talking abuot stopping things like this."
Roy waved his hand at the bodies of the grags, strewn about, broken, and dead.
"If we hadn't been here, an entire village would have been wiped out. I nearly killed myself just weilding this spear that quickly....I can't do anything like that again. I'm a goddamned SEER. I should be able to do this alone, but I can't."
Roy's entire body hurt. He had pushed himself too hard with the holy spear, and dislocated both shoulders.
"Talk to Grenchka....she was just impressed with your abillities, nothing else. She was asking for a spar when she talked to you. Tell her I sent you, and she'll let you borrow her spellbooks."

"Ahh...Well, thats a relief." He said in all honesty at the fact she only wanted to fight because of the way he landed and not something els. Tristan was also pleased to hear she'd let him borrow those books. If he could come up with a spell as strong as kamataichi with just wind, things would get very interesting, very soon.
They got back a little longer than it took them to get there. Tristan jumped off and landed like he usually did, and Igneus floated down in his tiny form to land on the hunters shoulder. "You alright?" He would ask Roy as he looked a little worse for wear. A couple of elves and orcs greeted them on their ways past, doing what ever it was they would do.

"I've been through a lot in the past few days. Some things that changed my veiws on how the world works. I nearly broke both arms weilding this holy spear that quickly. I'm not exactly having a great week."
Roy's every step was strained. His body was weak, and it always had been. His entire life, he had compensated with speed, but with this holy spear...he just couldn't do that, anymore.
"I'm going to head back to the academy as soon as I can.....good lord, my head hurts."

"First...Your ass is goin' to a healer." Tristan said, guiding him to the same hut as before. He called in the same healer who went to work on Roy right away. "Second...You need to rest." He grabbed up the greenish spell book from off the table like thing next to the bed. "Third...and I thought I'd never say this...But, I'm going to see Grenchka." And so he did, leaving Roy to the elf healer.
The hunter found Grenchka and handed her the book. "I assume this is yours originally. Mind if I borrow any other elements you have? I need some serious work." The giant green woman took the book and laughed. I'm surprised your admitting that tall one. Of course you can borrow my other books, make sure you return them though. When you do we can put your abilities to the test. He laughed to himself a bit, "I guess so. Roy told me you just wanted to fight before, sorry about that." She smiled the orc equivalent to a smile and led Tristan to her home.
She put the Teo book back on a shelf, and retrieved the other elements. Tristan was surprised to actually see nine books, he didn't think they would have all ten elements. He pulled the one labeled Igna, a red book, and handed it to Grenchka. "Fire's my strongest element, I won't need that one."
She waved it off and said, You may learn a strong spell, stronger than any Igna magic you already know. After all, you created that other spell: Ka-Mi-Tai-Che? She tried to pronounce the japanese word, which didn't exactly work. That was not in the book of Teo, and look how strong it became.
"You have a point. Thanks." He said, taking back the Igna book, and walking off to another clearing out in the woods.

Roy had seen a healer, and all that. He was tired, but he couldn't rest. He had...seeen something.
AGAIN.
Elves. Headed toward Silverfall, village of outcast elves.
"Right, tell Knight I headed back to the academy, would you, Stonewater?"
Yes. It has been good seeing you again, my friend.
"Good to see you, too. Later, Stonewater."
Roy grabbed his spear and dagger, donning his chest-plate and jacket once more. He left the Spear of Judas, as it wouldn't be of any use to him against elves, and simply walked out of the village, to the north, to meet this new threat.

Tristan went to another clearing, one not totally decimated. He plopped down the books and flipped through them, trying to pick what to learn first. It got to the point where he just lined them up and picked one at random. "Seol." Spirit was the book he ended up with.
He piled the rest aside by a tree, removed his sword, and got to reading. He'd picked up enough orc from memory and the wind book to get by. After a good half hour, he got to practicing. He tried basic spells and shit that was just plain retarded, then he thought of some spells of his own. An hour or two later, he had one. "Seoligna!" He shouted and his energy flowed out of him.
It took the shape of a flaming aura, licking around his body and clothes. It was a dull, blackish red color as he didn't pour too much energy in it for conservation purposes. Tristan walked over to a tree and placed a gauntleted hand on the trunk. The flaming aura sunk into the bark. A few moments later, the wood turned from a vibrant brown to a death gray/black.
The aura sucked the essence out of living beings and restored Tristan's energy. "I think I'm gonna like this spell..." He said, dispelling the aura. He walked over and plopped down the book, picking up the next one. "Aqu...Interesting." It was blue, so that meant water. The books were the same color as the element they represented: fire was red, water was blue, earth was brown, wood...was also brown but it had some green on it.
Mr. Knightrhode! Roy's aunt came running into the clearing, looking panicked. It's Roy, you have to help him. I saw a vision, he was dead, surrounded by warriors! She ran straight into the pillar of a man with tears in her eyes. "Woah...calm down. Breathe." She took a deep breath and began speaking again. I told Stonewater and Grenchka already, you've got to help him.
"Ok, ok...calm down. I'll help him...I wish I'd had more time but...This new spell will have to do." He grabbed up his sword, threw it across his back, and went to leave. Roy's aunt stopped him and gave him a small canteen sort of thing and told him it would restore his energy. He thanked her and lept up with a burst of wind. The one leap got him to the old clearing and he opened the canteen, taking a swig which put his energy back at full. "Holy shit...I'm gonna have to get more of this."
Another two leaps got him back into the villiage. Tall one! You must hurry- Stonewater shouted at him from a ways away. "I know. IGNEUS!" The dragon roared and flew over from another part in the villiage. "Let's go!" He shouted to the two orcs who took to the air along side Igneus.
The three flew along at full speed, and the hunter took another sip of the restorative liquid, it gave him a boost of energy that would amplify his power, a much needed amplifier for when they found the half elf.
Another five minutes later, they found him.

I have to stop them!
"Stop there, or I will kill you all. You have no right to carry out this operation, and I will NOT let it happen."
Roy stood in the path of a large strike force, of about 50 elves. They were all armored in what looked like steel with gold plating, with wicked looking scimitars.
What makes you think you have the power to fight us, boy?
Roy simply stared them down. He reached to his side, and unleased the heavy iron spear from his belt, and hefted it into simple stance.
Oh god damnit........one spear, against fifty swords! If only Alundra could see how far his nephew has fallen. The man is a half-blood lover, so he'd be saddened by this.
Then, Knight and the others showed up.
"Never said I was alone. I just had to distract you until backup arrived."
