Tristan jumped off of Igneus and soared down to Roy's side. Stonewater and Grenchka floated down on the otherside with Igneus soon to follow next to Tristan. "What the hell's going on here?" He demanded, his voice as firey as his black dragons breath. A few of the elves murmured and shifted in fear infront of the great house sized beast.
Shortly after saying those words, Tristan drew his longsword, Stonewater and Grenchka drew giant warhammers, and Igneus bared his fangs. All five were ready to fight and kill.

-------Three Days Later---------
Everything was in ruins. Bodies were everywhere. The elves had not done this, it had been a demon named Melzas. Inoa lay in the same state, destroyed.
"I'm sorry."
Roy kept repeating this, as tears flowed down his face. He was burying the bodies of his family and friends. It was the only thing keeping him from breaking down. He planned to kill himself when he was done. Avenge the villagees that died because of him.
He had finished burying his aunt, and moved on to bury Grenchka.
"I'm sorry."

The white wolf had been spotted, but only in brief glimpses. It was rare to see one, and most people thought they had imagined it. One moment there, the next gone. The wolf was hunting for something, it's nose to the wind and ground. It was tracking, and it was not happy.
If he isn't dead, he will be when I find him! What was the point of dragging me to the city for training if he was going to up and leave? I swear, when I find him... He stopped then. Kegan had finally found his friend, and much more than he had hoped.
Before him lie a wasteland of shallow graves. The whole field wreaked of death. Kegan's eyes fell upon his friend, the only apparent survivor. So... he won... but at what cost? He shifted to his human form, all his anger gone. What is the sense of yelling at a broken man? No, Roy needed support, and that was what he would get from Kegan.
He approached Roy, who was apologizing. The gruff but friendly voice fell upon his ears as Kegan's hand came to rest on his shoulder. "Care to talk?" Now, this was an odd thing to hear from the lycan. He wasn't one for many words but, with Roy, he would speak.

"I'm sorry.......it....it told me....in a nightmare.....that it would....have killed a girl named Maria in her sleep if I hadn't gone alone. I won...but the only homes I've ever known are gone."
Roy was nearly in tears. Everything was gone. He had actually returned to the academy, under a sort of posession spell, but a vatican knight had saved him from it. He deserved to die, for what he had done.
"I....I couldn't save them. The fight was huge.......it's my fault they died."

Maria? He would have hurt Maria? Kegan had a mix of anger and confusion. Why should he care? He barely knew the girl. But, something bothered him to know she had been threatened. He wished even more now that he could have helped, especially after seeing the pain in Roy's eyes.
upon hearing him blame himself, Kegan grabbed Roy by the collar. Staring him hard in the eyes, Kegan growled. "Don't you DARE blame yourself for this!" He calmed a bit, his grip loosening slightly. "This is not your fault. That demon did this. You did what you could, I am sure. Many hero's have had to face what you are going through now." Roy's tears reminded Kegan of his own loss. His tone became soft, and his grip was no more than a hand resting upon the spot he had grabbed.
"Roy, I know what it is like to loose everything. My family was killed and burned right in front of me. Burned alive. I didn't do anything, and blamed myself. But, I came to realize that there was nothing I could do. All I could do, to best respect them was to carry on. You need to do the same." He looked, and realized Roy hadn't dug the grave for the body next to him yet.
"Let me help you." He walked to the spot Roy had intended for the body. He looked over his shoulder. "Your the first friend I've had in a long time. Don't think I take that lightly. You have support, if from no one else, from me." With that, he shifted to his full wolf form and began to dig.

"Thank you........but......I should have been able to stop this."
Tears were flowing freely now. He had forgotten he had friends, and thought that maybe he SHOULD carry on. But then he remembered the reason he had fought in the first place.
"I failed....utterly and completely. I fought to keep this from happening....and I failed."
He would carry on in thier names. All of them. He would honor them all. He dug his shovel into the ground again, pulling up large shovelfulls of dirt. As the hole grew large enough, he placed the orc Grenchka's body inside, and bid his old friend a tearfull farewell.

Kegan shifted back, having helped completed the digging of the grave. He could have easily used Earth bending to place and cover the hole, but he chose to do it by hand... or in his case, paw. It made it more personal, and it gave Roy more of a chance to say goodbye to his departed friend. He helped to lower the body down into the hole, and cover the grave. He stood there next to Roy, his only true friend. "You didn't fail Roy. You wanted to keep the mass destruction, but you also wanted to defeat that demon. You did that. No one else will be tortured by him because of you. I am sure that all of those you took the time to bury would tell you the same. You can't save everyone Roy. No one can."
It was the last body, and they stood there in the new graveyard. It was depressing, and Kegan knew they couldn't stay there, or Roy's condition would worsen. "Come on. Let's get going. You honored them all by fighting for them, and taking the time to lay them to rest. You did all you were capable of." Kegan then did something he had never attempted before on such a grand scale. He took up a horse stance, breathed out and jumped. When he landed, he stepped hard, and brought his arms up sharply. At the head of each grave, a slab of stone appeared. It was a marker for each grave. He had done this for his parents, but never for this many bodies before.
Kegan was severely weakened from that move. "My departing gift to those who left us. May your souls rest in peace." He looked to his friend. "Let's go to the local tavern. I'll buy."

Tristan had last been in Silverfall villiage three days prior when Tristan and Roy beat the living shit out of a few dozen elves, along side a couple of orcs and Igneus of course. Now there was a flash of light over the destroyed villiage as Tristan, Igneus, and the unconscious, once more human girl appeared. Tristan hadn't bothered becoming human again as he'd need to explain the bite marks on the girls neck and the rest of the story.
Tristan, as soon as the utter cold of the teleportation eased, Lept off of his partners back and soared down on black wings. His jaw dropped at the sight before him, Silverfall was decimated. Tristan angled downward, seeing two living people standing amidst the wreckage. His wings shot him at blinding speeds, heading straight at the pair.
He shot his body vertical and came to a dead stop, "What the hell happened!?!?" He yelled at the two, landing and folding back his wings. Last he'd seen the place was in perfect order, now it was gone. The small girl was still out cold in his arms

Roy's back straightened, and his eyes flashed white.
The hell? Is that......Tristan? What the hell is going on?
"Melzas happened. I stood alone, and I killed it. Are you Tristan? Who is she? What the hell is going on here?"
Roy's hand went to his back, and wrapped around the Spear of Judas, as he drew it from the makeshift leather strap on his back. He had just discovered that his "Friend" was some kind of monster...or not. He jabbed the spear into the ground, and decided to find out for himself.
His eyes flashed white again, and this time, glowed steadily for a moniute and a half.
"I know what happened. What do you need me to do?"

Tristan was about to answer when Roy went into a vision. "Just when you go to answer...figures." The Crusnik said in a voice that was so remarkably not his own it was amazing that Roy could get anything from it. Kegan knew what Tristan was, from day one as a matter of fact, and wouldn't be too surprised.
The hunter laid the girl down and waited until the half-elf snapped out of it. "If you saw it all, theres a split personality or something. Conscious skitzophrenia (sp?) is what a doctor would call it. See if you can go in her mind with your telepathy...Try and block it off." He explained, still as a Crusnik, deciding to preserve his stamina rather than be exhausted as a human. Until Roy was finished with what he was doing at least.
Tristan looked over at Kegan, the wolf would be bestranged to the situation, and would need and explanation. Can he help her? Igneus thought, flying down and becoming small again. The full situation had been explained to the dragon whose neck, back, and tail spikes now had a golden yellow color from the learned lightning attack. His eyes were also now yellow along side with the black and red.
He landed next to his partner and looked over the girl who was out cold on the ground. There any bedding for her? Igneus projected to his partner and Roy who, being a telepath, could hear the black dragon. "I'll go find some, if theres any thing left." He said with an unusually sad tone, still keeping his Crusnik form, weight shifting heavily with his black wings as he walked.

"I can bind it, but that's all. I'll do what I can."
Roy cast off his weapons, Iron spear thunking into a nearby tree, and dagger taking a place next to it. He let out a slow breath. He was going to sacrifice the remaining honor he had left to save this girl. It was worth it, even though what he was about to do made his skin crawl.
Entering a mind without consent, even to salvage someone's sanity, was akin to rape among Roy's people.
"Sorry about this, Kegan. I'll have to take you up on that offer if my mind survives this."
Roy's eyes began to glow white, like beams of light, as the wind began to swirl around him. He brought his hads together, and a beam of light shot through the air between them. Roy's body was vacant, but it continued to stand in the same stance, eyes glowing.
-------------Minji's Mindscape-----------------------
It was dark...bleak, and confusing. Bodies were everywhere. Twisted staircases stood upside-down, and illogical, everywhere he looked. As was common, he was suddenly aware of many things about this girl. Nothing of her past, but her name, and her usual attitude.
It scared him. Whatever was in her head was malevolant. Not exactly evil, but Roy diddn't believe in good or evil. If anyone who did was here, they would have condemned the girl as evil.
He knew better.
"Well, isn't this magical?"
Roy was manifested inside her Mindscape as his usual self, in his usual Inoan Warriors garb, but without the small leather chestplate. Physical weapons and armor had no place on this plane of existance. Strength of mind conquered all, unless whatever it was that troubled this girl, who Roy now knew was named Minji something (He had been unable to locate her last name.), was powerfull enough to change that.
"Come out! Fight me, whatever you are!"
He screamed out in vain, most likely, his deep voice echoed throughout Minji's mindscape, as a spear of light formed in his hand.
He began what would either be a short trek, or a long trek, through her mindscape, looking for the entity. He nearly tripped over bodies, and broken, twisted, unidentifiable structures several times, as he walked.
"I said come OUT!"

*Minji's Mind
"Who are you...?"
A voice called out, innocent enough, echoing throughout the empty spaces of this little mind of hers. Footsteps followed quickly afterwards, and down came a beautiful looking woman decending the stairway in an elegant matter; a black flowing dress ripped at the ends, giving it that frilly look, her shoulders bare, her eyes crimson red, and her lips a thin line of dark red. And of course, all this happened...on an upside down staircase. In a flash, she would be a few feet away from Roy, brushing off her shoulder and fixing her hair. Her beautiful, captivating eyes would blink twice, giving him that fake, confused, innocent look.
"...what do you want with me?"
Of course, this was all an act of hers, but he didn't know that. What he also didn't know, were that these mazes and twists and turns were all part of her history. He just didn't know how to decipher them.

"Well, this is to be expected, isn't it? Finding people from the past in someone's mind, or maybe you're something else."
THe beam of light that had been a spear dissipated. This was wrong. So very wrong, but he diddn't know why he had that feeling. His second sight could only tell him so much.
Is this a relative? Mother, aunt, older sister? It's only a memory if it is........
Roy smirked slightly. Whatever this was had given itself away, unless this mind was more corrupted than he thought. He felt like he was missing something. The key to what all of this was, and how to understand what he was seeing.
If this was a memory, she...no, it, wouldn't react to me at all, but only another memory. I can't actually say for certain, though, because it's not my mind. It's HER mind. Damnit..........what the hell is going on?
"Easy, now. I'm not going to hurt anyone. I only want to find the source of a problem, and bind it. You're not the one causing all of this, are you?"
Roy's metaphysical body tensed, as his suspicions flared. He wasn't going to trust this "Woman" at all.

"...problem? ..I don't think I'm a problem.."
And she was telling the truth. She liked to think of herself more of a "help" to Minji instead of being a problem. She slowly began, hesitantly, to approach him in a cautionate matter, building up this innocense. She looked at him oddly, as if it were the first time she's ever seen his kind of "species". She made it seem as if it were the first time someone came into this mind - first time she's seen that type of clothing, gender... She blinked again. She was being exceptionally "pro" at acting this out - besides, it wasn't the first time she encountered something like this.
"..what are you?"
Yes, what, not who.

Well, this was getting odd.
"What am I? I'm a half-elf. A dreamwalker, a seer, and a telepath. May I ask who, and what, you are?"
This unsettling mindscape, this strange place, was putting Roy into a state of paranoia. He had to have information before coming to a conclusion, even though he wanted to trust her.
Her innocence seemed genuine, but his second sight told him otherwise. It had been wrong before, but he usually stayed cautious when it told him so.
He took several steps back, locking his eyes on hers, and waiting for something odd to show in them. He couldn't see anything with his eyes, but Minji's past kept trying to make itself known, even if he couldn't understand it.
"Don't come any closer!"
He gripped his head in both hands, and took three steps backward, screaming.
For a moment...he saw something. A young girl, very young. Staring into a room, and seeing two dead bodies. Through her eyes, now, he saw a large man step into the way, as his second sight broke off, and he stopped screaming.
He diddn't understand any of it, and he wasn't meant to. His second sight had forced an image into his mind, and it hadn't been very pleasant.
"Don't come any closer."
His eyes were closed, and he couldn't see the woman any longer. He doddn't know if she was still approaching him......he was completely vulnerable for the moment.
