{OoC: The ONLY ones I would permit an enterance into this thread for, are Narin, and Gake. Why? Well, let's just say I have my reasons. ^_^ You don't have to post if you don't want to, guys, I'm just saying you have permission to.} [green]You're a fool..[/green]
Fuck you!
[green]You can never obtain true power..[/green]
SHUT UP!
[green]The power..
To protect..
The girl..
[/green]
Shut UP!
[green]No matter what you do, I will always be here..[/green]
Go away!
[green]And I will prevent you from saving the girl..[/green]
That's..
[green]She will die in front of you, and there's nothing you can do to prevent that.[/green]
ENOUGH! [/right] [purple]Slay, spill the blood of the rebels, they are the children of hell![/purple] [red]Fight! Fight and destroy, until you can't take anymore![/red] [green]Flesh of the Undead stopping at nothing to find you![/green] [yellow]Lord! You are my god and my sheperd, nothing more shall I want![/yellow] [blue]Walk through the abyss into the Shadow of Death![/blue]
I judge as my eyes see.. I judge, and I am just.. for I speak of the beast that lives in all of us! Angels fall all for you, heretic! Demon heart, bleed for us! The River of Life. The Abyss of Death. The Cave of Decadence.
Pass the three trials and thou shalt recieveth thine true potential.Eyes shot open. Sweat rolling down the forehead and cheeks. Tattoo glowing, sword struck through a boulder. It was dark. Pitch black, the only source of light being that from the tattoo of the boy. The sound of a river was close by, yet the haunting feeling of an abyss, and a cave were nearby, as well. The boy attempted to get up, only to be pushed against the ground by what seemed to be a large hand, and the strength caused the ground beneath Eiki to crack. His eyes nearly shut, he was already exhausted. Throat dry, lips chapped, and bleeding. His body was severely scarred, but why? What was going on? Eiki winced once more, feeling pain surge up his right arm, and he automatically knew what was happening. This time, the writing didn't stop at his elbow, it went all the way up his arm, and went all of the way through his body, covering his face, torso, and legs, even, with an inscription of the Heretic, the Demon, and the Lord. Now, the weight pressing against his body subsided, and he slowly, and painfully, pushed himself up. He felt rocks between his fingers, and sand beneath his nails. He licked his lips, grimacing at the subtle pain. A sigh escaped his lips, the air causing pain between the small slits on his lips. Where.. where the hell am I? He looked around once more, seeing nothing at all. He got up, stumbling slightly, as his combat boots crushed the gravel beneath them. He placed his right hand on his forehead, and slowly walked forward, to where his sword was placed inside the boulder, and held his hand out to it's hilt. His fingers grasped the cloth-covered hilt of his black-bastard sword, and slowly, he pulled it out of the boulder. There was not one scratch, yet the sword looked.. different. The entire inscription on the sword had disappeared, and what was covering his body looked slightly familiar.. Yes, no mistaking it, it was part of the sword, and now he has been bound to it, body and soul. He roared, and chucked the sword as far as he could, and it was the only thing he'd heard other than the echo of his roar in what seemed like nothingness. His eyes widened, as the sword came back, shooting it's hilt back into his hand. Damnit! What the hell's going on?! Why the hell can't I get rid of this?! [green]Fool.. you are still so blind that you do not see the truth behind your sword?![/green] There it was again. The voice that Eiki had already despised more then anything, and it was talking to him once more. What the hell do you want? He looked around, sword held tightly as he did. He swung his sword behind him, thinking he'd seen a hint of movement, when, in truth, there was nothing. Was there? He was breathing heavily, now. Was he going mad? What was it that had held him down not five minutes ago? Someone, or something was there, and it was not an ally. The voice was deep. Demonic. It was loud, and with each word it spoke, it's voice echoed through whatever the hell Eiki was in. [green]"You are a coward. Too scared to face the truth. You try to block it all out by hurting yourself, and you say it is training to protect her! Do you really think anyone believes you, Menboku Eiki?! If anyone believed you, they must not see through that THICK layer of skin you have on your outside! They do not see your true intentions! If you wanted to protect the girl, then you'd--"[/green] "SHUT UP YOU MOTHERFUCKER! What the HELL do you know?! HUH?! I try to protect her! okay? You better be listening, you mother FUCKER!"[/b] [green]"Ignorant boy! How DARE you interrupt me?! I will make you suffer in ways that none could even imagine if you continue to defy me! Or.. I will make you suffer now.. For what you have done, boy, you will be tested on your competence, and your determination! If you are truly willing to protect the girl, you will do what I say! If not, I will kill her before you, and you can do nothing to stop me! Unless, of course, you agree to my terms.. Hehehe.. Quite the conundrum, ne? I know what you want to say.. You want to say no, because you're selfish! You don't care what happens to the girl, if nothing happens to you! Is that about right, Eiki? Or is it something else? You want to save her, but you don't want to do anything you believe is a lie? Well, know this, you selfish boy; No matter what you do, the girl will die. You cannot protect her, so it is best you walk away now! No matter how hard you try, you can never beat them! All you will do by saying yes, is prolonging her inevitable death, and by saying no.. well, you just make things easier for us."[/green] "You.. Fine, I'll abide by your terms.." How the boy got into this, he didn't know, but he would try to get out of it as fast as possible, and, well, it would most likely take forever to get this done anyways. Well, he'd just have to do it. He cared for Misumi more then anyone, or anything, and he WOULD do whatever he could to save her. {OoC: Each trial can take about 5-10 of my posts. Sooo this thread will be up for a while. ^^;}

Walking through the fields at night, with his imp following, Gake kept his right hand on his visor’s panel scanning the area for any magical trace of Eiki. As he was doing that Gake shout hoeping to get a response, “Eiki, were the hell are you! This is not very funny!”
With little luck on locating the missing half demon Gake thought back on how he got involve on this mess. D_mnit, I can never say no to a cute kid like Misumi.
Flashback:
Walking down the hall was the green hair warlock with his imp running around him in circle. As he was walking down the hall Gake spotted a familiar figure getting lost in the crowd of students. After a few seconds Gake realized that the lone female figure was actually Misumi, but for some reason she was by herself.
Rising up his right hand in the air Gake then shouted out loud, “Hey Misumi, over here!”
After shouting that two more times Misumi spotted Gake and straight towards him. Once Misumi got over to Gake she looked up at him, then towards Kurkies, and an expression of relief came over her face, which seemed to be shinning in the light. Stuttering a little Misumi then asked in a quivering voice, “Hav…Have…you seen Eiki anywhere? Because…Because…he has been gone for a long time.
Looking down on the sad figure, Gake placed his right hand on her shoulder in order to calm her down, and at the same time the little imp placed his tiny paw on her right knee. This second action caused the girl to giggle a little bit.
<Fast forward>
Standing outside of the transporter, Gake turned around to give Misumi a small huge good bye. In a calm voice Gake said, “Don’t worry I will bring him back in one piece.”
Now letting go both Gake and Kurkies entered the transporter. Looking back at Misumi, Gake stuck out his right hand to give a thumb up at her as he teleported away. Standing all by herself, Misumi then said to herself, “What’s up with the good guy pose? It’s kinda of lame.”
” "SHUT UP YOU MOTHERFUCKER! What the HELL do you know?! HUH?! I try to protect her! okay? You better be listening, you motherFUCKER!"
Hearing this sudden outburst in the middle of the silent night Gake stopped in his tracks in an effort to track the location of the sound. Slowly turning around around in a completely circle an arrow on his tracker flashed towards his right. Without much thinking Gake ran straight towards the sound. As he got closer Gake heard the sound of a river, and as he got closer he heard someone shouting at himself. Figuring only a demon would do something like that Gake knew he was close to Eiki.
Stopping at the river Gake turned and started to head upstream. As he did that Gake would shout, “Eiki is that you shouting at yourself?”

"What exactly was that just now?" "..."
The Sword lay quietly as if working over the event in its mind. Narin merely stood watching silently from the rock tower he stood upon. His wings were out and the Shinruki pointed diagonally down towards the ground. The River of Life, the Abyss of Death, the Cave of Decadence. Were the words that spoke to Narins mind also. He pondered over them as he watched the sillhoutte wander off into the black distance. As all went quiet the sword began to speak, the Scholar had come up with a theory. "That Sword had an Aura of its own, you could sense it too, correct?" the sword asked the boy. He kept quiet but nodded quickly, eyes locked to the image of the boy and the sword. He did not speak, only thought to the sword. There are more like you. he thought. The sword replied to his mind. "I had no idea either.
Narin returned his wings and he stood once again like a normal human. He shot down to the floor, 200 foot down from the rock tower he stood upon previously. The sword followed but hesitated. Seen by the Narin he grabbed the floating swords hilt and lifted it up so the tip was facing skyward. "You've been uncharacteristically quiet since you heard those words. I know there is something wrong." he said. Narin closed his eyes and shook his head. Waiting quietly the sword realised the boy was waiting for a reply. "I shall tell you in due time, however know that those words may also become greatly important to you also. One day that is." the Demon explained. Narin raised an eyebrow to the sword and continued to stare into the darkness before him. "Aergarsth, I want you to return the Shinruki to its energy scabbard. For now anyway. I know that a place like this will hold many Ruptures. He said and he began to walk forward.
Aergarsth may have been troubled by one thing which was overheard, but through the demon Narin had heard something disturbing also. "You can never obtain true power." was heard specifically. Narin didnt know whether to believe that or just ignore it. He knew that people like him however could be powerful enough to fly straight through the sun for example. Narin shrugged it off and slowly followed after the boy, keeping out of sight and attention.
OOC:Not the greatest post ever but I hope its ok.

Silence. Well, at least until Gake was heard. Eiki's eyes widened, and he turned to run. He dropped his sword on the ground, and it slowly began to dissipate. He hadn't noticed, either. Once he got close enough to be able to see the river, and Gake, the seven foot tall boy was hit by a large amount of energy, and was sent flying backward. He slid accross the gravel, coughing saliva out of his mouth. He placed both hands on the rock beneath him, and realized that his sword was floating above him, slowly fading. He stared at it until it was gone, and right as it disappeared, someone appeared before him. Not Gake, no student at Arcane Academy, for that matter. And.. it wasn't a person. It felt unlike any demon, as well. Eiki crawled back a bit, still staring at the shadowy figure, whom, of course, would be very visible to Gake and anyone else who might've been around.
Slowly, I managed to get up, and the figure thrust it's arm forward, sending me flying back once more. [purple]Fool! Do you not realize what your little friends caused? You are in even more trouble, now.. You've absolutely no choice, you must abide by our terms, or they shall die as well.[/purple] It.. sounded human, but didn't seem like any human, or any demon. The being was cloaked, and looked.. Powerful. Heck, Eiki could probably feel the power radiating from him from a mile away!
The figure turned, and noticed Gake and Narin. He chuckled, and then his eyes widened. He felt a.. Familiar presence. [purple]AERGARSTH?![/purple] The figure shouted, pointing to Narin. [purple]Where.. is Aergarsth?![/purple] He would then use whatever power he had to wrap something around Narin, and pull him closer. If it would wrap around him in time, he didn't know, he just wanted to see an old.. "Friend."
He then turned to Gake, and held his arm out, attempting to pull him in as well. [purple]Where... is Aergarsth..? You know me, Aergarsth.. Kiichi.. Remember that name?[/purple] He chuckled, and Eiki sighed. What have those guys gotten themselves into..?

As Gake was walking up the river shouting he felt a strong magical aura grip him. Surprisingly enough, his sensors were not picking anything up, but before he could swear over his situation he felt the force pulling him. Now Gake found himself be pulled forward by some unknown force until he came face to face with a mysterious figure. Looking forward Gake could only see static as his visor kept displaying errors on the power source and situation.
Now apparently the figure was asking something strange from Gake. Unable to move or do anything Gake said in a low tone towards the figure, “What the f_ck are you talking about?”

Narin was a little startled as he was noticed. His eyes shot wide for a moment but then a calm face returned. "Heh." he said quickly as he sensed the aura of somethings energy gathering around him. He warped and the energy simply collapsed into itself. Narin reappeared next to Gake and Eiki. The Shinruki floated on its own and the blue energy scabbard dispersed around it. The sword floated up so the tip of the blade was level with Narins head. "Kiichi..." the demon said from within the sword. The demon waited, looking at the other from within the Shinruki. "What is your business with these children?" the demon asked. It appeared that Aergarsth had disregarded any history. The fact was that he didnt like the way Kiichi had spoken to Eiki just now. Almost as if it was demanding the boy do something.
Narin could only stand and watch, as could the other humans. From the audience Narin spoke out. "Honestly, I dont mean to break up this reunion of yours, really, I dont. Though if you could go ahead and tell me whats going on here that would be just peachy!" he said in his usual cocky attitute. This was the first time he had seen another demon similar to Aergarsth. There was that one guy from the academy who tried to kill him but he appeared to be just any old demon punk.
For the time being Aergarsth ignored Narin, he was too absorbed in getting an answer from this other demon to listen to his idiotic talks.

[purple]Always so demanding, Aergarsth.[/purple]
Eiki finally rose to his feet now, standing before Kiichi, breathing heavily. The attacks Kiichi had used were extremely damaging, so of course he was in pain. The demon grinned, and walked toward them, still holding Gake and Kurkizes inside of the wrapping of energy, detaching the magical cloth from his hand as it formed somewhat of a cell. "You.. will-" [purple]I'll WHAT Eiki? Pay for this? Do you really think so? These trials will test your competence, and the trust they should be able to put in you.[/purple] Once again, he sent a large wave of energy into Eiki, throwing him to the side. He walked to Narin and Aergarsth, a large grin playing on his face. [purple]Face me, Aergarsth, or I shall kill your.. 'host.'[/purple] Of course he was just trying to lure Aergarsth out so he could deal with him personally, and he would leave Narin and Gake as bait for Eiki. He wouldn't kill Aergarsth, no. He would just trap him in a large cell of his own, one that slowly drained all magical capabilities from anything inside of it, and would give Kiichi more power.
[purple]You will do what I say..[/purple]
Kiichi did have leverage, and he was probably much stronger than Aergarsth now, as he never rested inside of a weapon, he let his power grow.

Face me, Aergarsth, or I shall kill your.. 'host.'
A smile emerged on Narins face, then he broke out into an uncontrollable laughter. After awhile his laughter subsided, he placed his hand on the floating Shinruki and stood straight. His face returned to a serious one almost as instantanious as his warp ability. "What a grandious fool you are demon. You couldnt possible 'kill' me as you think you could. Though, i'll give you that you would have a chance." he explained to the sword.
In what Narin meant was that in his 63 years of life, since Aergarsth was absorbed into his soul, he wasnt able to die, no way possible. He had of course tested this theory. He had jumped off mountains, buildings, planes, he had been run over by cars, boats and other vehicles. He had even tried to drown himself and destroy himself with weapons. The problem was that he was a born fire elementalist fused with a fire elemental demon. The result of the mixture created a magical barrier for Narin. If he was cut, that cut would over run with scorching molten magma, harden and then his flesh would return.
Narin tried to focus his eyes, he could see the demon clearly, not just a shadow. "You wish to fight Aergarsth? But tell me demon, can you unleash him?" he asked the demon. As he said that he grabbed the Shinruki's hilt which floated at his waist level. He brough the blade down from his height level and held it at his side. "For you see, idiotic demon, Aergarsth has been sealed within my soul and my soul is the Shinruki." he explained further, pausing and then continuing. "There is only one know way to unleash Aergarsth from the Shinruki and for him to take over my body and grow into his own former body. You must damage me greatly." he said.
Summoning his wings again he shot up into the air with the Shinruki pointing in a diagonally down position once again. "Can you destroy me demon?" Narin asked. He enflamed both of his arms and the Shinruki which emitted a great light upon the area. There would be a fight. And the demon would not have to fight one opponent, but two.

During this fight that was just about to break out, Eiki would've tried to stop it if he'd not been chained to the ground with magic. Kiichi smirked as Narin made his cocky remarks, and lit his limbs and sword on fire. Above his right hand, a large amount of Gravel formed, and above his left, was water which he'd used from the spring. He shot them both, and quickly warped behind Narin, using Wind to propel him forward into the water, and the gravel. All three of these elements were strong against fire, and with each one, the fire would easily be put out. But, he wasn't going to do just that. The gravel would become rock hard, the water would become extremely pressurized, and the wind would slice against his skin. Kiichi was going to go to any attack if it meant getting to fight Aergarsth. Once Narin would be pushed, he'd pull his arm back, and lightning would begin to form around it, and quickly, he'd thrust his arm forward, shooting the lightning once he would make contact with the water. Of course, Narin wouldn't die, but the damage would be great.

Floating in midair, with his demon beside him, Gake just gave off a big yawn at the events that was taking place in front of him. Apparently this was some kind of demon grudge match that had absolutely nothing to do with him. He of course had his own little demon, but something told Gake that no one really cares about Kurkizes.
With wide eyes of confusion the little imp then stated, “Kurkizes is confused.”
Looking back at his demon Gake nodded as he agreed, “For once I can agree with you.” Now turning towards the mysterious figure in front of him Gake said out loud rather arrogantly, “Hey, um, Mr. I don’t give a crap.” Giving the figure a little more time to notice Gake speaking he did continue, “Well I am sure this conversation you are having with I don’t give a d_mn is interesting and all, but I was wondering, if you could do me a favor and let me get on my way? Don’t get me wrong it all sounds extremely interesting, but this whole thing doesn’t seem to concern me at all.”

Narin was hit by the demons barrage of attacks. He was being careful too. The reason Narin was caught off guard was because he was shocked by what he saw. The demon had used multi elements in one attack and as far as Narin knew it wasnt physically possible for somebody to have more than one element, especially if they were opposing. It was the same as a demon not being able to use the power of light, or holy magic because it would go against their own unholy and dark powers. Narin fell to the floor and shook his hand sending a spiral of electricity off of his arm and onto the floor. His leather coat was burn and ripped and smoke flew off him. He also still felt the pressure he had just endured and he knelt still on the ground.
He wiped his mouth of blood before the molten magma gushed over his cut and his skin returned to normal. "Your one freaky bastard i'll give you that. You...Shouldnt even exist! Its impossible." he said, with his voice shaking. He stood up and held his hand out for the Shinruki to appear in it. Walking forward he stumble and fell to his knee again. "Im..not done yet!" he told the demon before his arms and legs suddenly changed into, fire red ones. He had summoned more of Aergarsth's body, however he was no way near close to having Aergarsth summoned fully.
He stood up, finding restored energy in his arms and legs from the replaced body parts. He placed the Shinruki over his shoulder and jolted forward in an extremely fast paced run towards the demon. Coming close he warped and would reappear behind the demon with his sword pointed at its chest. As soon as he reappeared, which was instantanious he would thrust the Shinruki through the chest of the demon.

[purple]Kuh..![/purple]
"You.. got him.."
The sword had impaled the chest of Kiichi, and blood shot outward. His eyes were wide, and his fists tightened to where his nails were digging into his skin. Blood ran down his lower lip. Suddenly, an expressionaless face grew a grin accross its lips, and broke out into laughter. Eiki's eyes widened, and he attempted to break free from the magical chains that had bound him to the ground. This demon couldn't die. He walked forward, letting the sword slide out from his chest, and he turned, facing the blade head on. [purple]Do you really think that'll be enough to beat me, fool? And if I shouldn't exist, then neither should he![/purple] He pointed toward Eiki with a long bloody finger, a smirk playing on his lips. He was not like any other demon, obviously. Not at all.
His skin began to weld together, being bound by a pale substance that dissipated once the skin reconnected. He took a few steps back, and ran toward Narin, letting the blade run through his body, and he thrust his left arm forward, sending a fist to Narin's cheek. The attack would send him flying, and before he could hit the ground, Kiichi would summon large amounts of the gravel, and throw each one at Narin. After that, he would use more elements, again. Water started to form over his hand, draining the river slightly, and quickly, he shot them forward, following up with another bolt of lightning.
After this, he would let another substance engulf his hand, a thick substance, somewhat a mix of others, and he'd throw it toward Narin. Of course, he mixed several elements into one to create a bomb that would explode upon impact. What he'd done, was make a hollow amount of gravel into a ball, and once it was near his opponent, he'd summon fire and wind inside of it, letting the two collide and create an explosion. Of course, this wouldn't do much, but it would disable Narin's ability to see, and Kiichi's eyes would go from red, to pale.
[purple]Time to finish off the dog, and get straight to the master.. Sentius, deal with the other boy![/purple]
Suddenly, another demon had appeared behind Gake, and he thrust his hand forward, letting energy pour into the magical cell, making it stronger. [green]"Yes, master."[/green] With that, the demon created a bind between him and the cell, and flew off carrying it.
[purple]Eiki, the trials you must pass, or the boy will die.[/purple]

Looking up at the stars waiting for a replied Gake was about to yawn at how boring things where turning out until the demon who had trapped him suddenly appeared right behind Gake. Before he could give off any type of reaction the demon had increased the flow of energy that held Gake still. This sudden increase of energy sent a chill go straight up his back freezing up his body momentary.
After the dazed moment Gake found himself being flung through the air by the demon before he doze off for some strange reason. Also his imp was right behind Gake since their cages where linked together. Special Note: Kill Eiki for all the sh_t he put me through tonight.

As Narin was punched he flew down still holding the Shinruki. The mix of elements sent Narin underground and he was buried by the first gravel attack. However the 'element bomb' blew most of it away and smoke poured out of the whole left. There wasnt much to be seen but out of the trench something big flew up. It wasnt Narin, nor his demon form. It was the Shinruki, double its original size. It now equalled the size of a cars length in width and was about as tall as a house.
As the smoke cleared only a shadow could be seen and it was a giant one at that. Flames rushed out from inside the smog and the demon shot out into the air grabbing the giant Shinruki which made even the likes of the giant demon look small. As he came out he shot down at Kiichi with the Shinruki and would cleave right down the centre of him. As the Shinruki hit something a blast of blue energy would shoot out and smash in all directions. The force of the impact would make the ground shake and the humans on the ground would likely lose balance and fall around.
The giant demon aergarsth began to speak out. "Kiichi you fool, what are you doing ordering demons here?!" Aergarsth asked. He never remembered Kiichi being like this, but then again it had been a few centuries since he had last seen the demon, people did change, or in this case demons.

[purple]You forget, Aergarsth, I am a god![/purple][/font]
Kiichi leapt backward, avoiding the blast, and now flying. He was still in his human form, yet the damage he could cause was great. A smirk faded onto his face as he stared at Aergarsth. The demon had finally gotten some skill. His robe began to rip into shreds, and spikes began to shoot out of his back. He shouted, no longer sounding as calm as he did. His voice sounded like that of Gutteral speaking, and his shouts echoed throughout the area. His arms grew larger, spikes growing out of his elbows, and horns growing on his forehead. He stood tall, shouting once more, sending a shockwave throughout the entire cave, which broke Eiki's bind, sending him crashing into a wall. His voice was haunting, and now he was a little larger than Aergarsth was. His pale eyes shot toward his 'old friend', and he chuckled, still with that haunting voice. Eiki was out cold, and would be until Kiichi did what he wanted with Aergarsth. He knew what he could do to eliminate Narin, oh he knew. It was a matter of seperation, really.
[purple]Gon, you know what to do.. Hehehe.[/purple]
With that, another demon appeared, about Aergarsth's size, and stood before Kiichi, holding his arms out as wide as he could. Quickly, the demon dissappeared, his form merging with that of Kiichi's. Now he was stronger than before, but not that much. His power was ten times that of Gon's regularly. Once again, the demon chuckled, slowly flying toward Aergarsth, the ground below him breaking as he did. He halted a few yards away from his old friend, and pointed his right index and middle finger upward, and a large boulder of gravel shot upward, and Kiichi slammed his fist into it, causing it to fly forward. He would then warp behind Aergarsth, and hold his right hand out, the long black fingernails pointing upward. A large ball of white energy would form, and he'd shoot it at Aergarsth's back.
[purple]Oops. Kehaha![/purple]
