~*~Vampyre Form - Dauragon~*~
*Description*
Ritsuka's appearance changes quite a bit from his original state, yet he loses all control when he transforms. The being within him, Dauragon, takes over when it happens. Dauragon is there to correct any and all flaws Ritsuka may have, and is constantly consoling him to try and better his host. His original goal was to take over the body once Ritsuka died, yet time has made him come to care for the boy... he just doesn't show it often. His specialty weapon of choice is the Desert Eagle .50 handgun. It packs a powerful punch, plus his is enchanted with bullets infused with sunlight. Thus, his vampire foes will take much more harm then just a hole in their head.
~*~Personality~*~
Ritsuka is rather stubborn at times, but other than that he's usually very quiet. He wouldn't say anything really unless he had to. He has a neutrality state of mind going on, so he'd rather not get involved with the whole "good and evil" concept. He can sense how powerful an enemy is compared to him however, and if he'll join one side if it makes it fair to the other. However, he's really a good kid at heart.
~*~History~*~
Ritsuka was born Ritsuka Valo Galeos in an unknown mountain range, in a small house. His family lived alone, with no one else around for hundreds of miles. The wind was always nice and calm on this lonely mountain, and Ritsuka would always sit outside and enjoy the peaceful serenity. He didn't care that his mom was a Vampyre or his dad was human, he was part Vampyre himself, but he desired no need for human blood. Instead, he seemed to be nearly normal.
One day, his father just left him and his mother, not saying a word. His mother died soon after his departure. From that day forth, Ritsuka vowed to find his father, his resentment guiding him. Ritsuka soon came across a boy named Shugo, who bore the same last name as he. Upon discussion, the two found out they were brothers, or half-brothers, rather. The same situation had happened with Shugo. They traveled together for the next few years, still finding their search had come to an end with no leads in sight. Throughout their years of travel, they had honed their magical ablilities and physical abilities to the best they could on their own, and soon found their way to Arcane Academy. A brother born of a Vampyre, and a brother born of a Demon, the two vowed to watch each other's backs as they attended the Academy, and planned to grow stronger as they searched for their father.
The line of Vampyres had seperated over 200 years ago, into two separate lines. One for pure Crusniks, and one for the other more commonly known Vampyre. Nevertheless, Ritsuka was a Vampyre, yet he still bore the characteristics of a Crusnik. Perhaps he was a rare breed, perhaps not. He didn't really know yet, but hoped to find out soon, preferably from someone like him...
~*~Styles For Combat~*~
*Copyist*
Able to copy and use an enemy's abilities if he sees them used in combat
*"New" Symbology*
Ritsuka is, by his own standards, masterful in the art of "New" Symbology. Although he has much to learn, his casting time is almost instant. He has different variations of casting using this style. His most common is when he places his hands together, forming symbols and muttering phrases in unknown languages with the symbological form of the words spinning around him. He is skilled at imaging the circle as well, either using a spell on himself or his opponent, no matter how fast they seem to be.
*Alchemy*
Ritsuka isn't too fluent in the ability to use Alchemy, but he can work pretty well with his Galeos Gauntlets. So far, he can only work with small forms of Alchemy, such as spikes rising up from the ground or an armblade or shield for his Gauntlets.
*Elementalist*
Ritsuka can work with all the elements, but he's very lacking with most of them. He works best with the air/lightning element(s). He can perform rather average attacks with the others.
~*~Strengths~*~
Ritsuka's main strength lies in his magic. He's able to cast a spell right off the bat due to how quick he can chant the words and image the symbological circle. Another strength of his is the ability to walk in the sun though he's very distantly part vampyre, his traitor blood allows this. He also doesn't require blood to drink, as he is distant from the main vampyre in the family.
~*~Weaknesses~*~
Ritsuka bares the basic weakness of any Vampyre, minus the sun. Holy water can hurt him, as well as blades or bullets made of silver. It's not a complete weakness for him, but he's no good at resisting it either. He also lacks physical strength, but he makes up for that with speed and magic.
~*~Spell List~*~
Harrowing Gale - Harrowing Gale is a move where Ritsuka summons energy or magic into his hands, causing them to ignite with whatever element he chose to use. He then rushes forward at his opponent in a mad rush of fury, striking at the enemy with 12 fierce punches before pulling his right hand back, charging more power into that last 13th punch which would most likely cause a minor to medium explosion, depending on his power at the time.
Akashic Torment - Akashic Torment is one of his favorite moves, plus he likes the name. Ristuka charges as much energy as he can into his hand, raising it high above his head. A very large symbological circle would then appear beneath his feet, spanning for a good large radius of maybe twenty feet at most for right now. After charging a desireable amount of energy into his hand, Ritsuka would then rush his hand to the ground, kneeling down as it smashed into the circle. A great mass of energy would rise from the ground, catching everything within it in a fiery hell of fierce destructive energy. He is, of course, immune to the damage as he is the one who cast it. Nevertheless, it takes a good deal of energy out of him in his Apprentice state.
Thunder Arrow - Thunder Arrow is more or less what it sounds like. Ritsuka will draw a circle in the air with his hands, muttering a quiet incantation as the spell circle appears. He would then thrust his hands forward quickly, causing his control of lightning energy to surge through the circle, rushing out in a great arrow of lightning. It's a massive attack, but it's rather one dimensional and easy to dodge. It's mostly useful on slower enemies.
Indignation - Indignation is more of a last resort technique Ritsuka came up with. He summons all of the energy he could muster, making a giant circle appear beneath him on the ground, and another appear in the sky above him and his opponent. He doesn't need to do anything with his hands for this move, just focus on what he plans to blow the hell up. Then, as if Heaven cast judgement upon him and his foe, a great blast of white energy would shoot down from the circle in the sky, obliterating everything in the radius of the blast. In another variation of the move, an equal mass of energy would also shoot up from the ground, so his opponent would have a harder time avoiding it. Ritsuka himself survives the attack, but he spends every last bit of energy he has to perform this attack, and could barely move for a good while afterwards.
Fireball - This is just your basic fireball, which Ritsuka can cast in a second at most. It's used in the same basic principal as the Thunder Arrow, but is nowhere near as powerful and barely requires any energy at all.
Flame Dance - For this move, Ritsuka summons circles all around him, as words of an unknown language begin to surround him in the air. Flames would shoot from Ritsuka's body to all of the circles, and they begin to spread across the battlefield, planning on igniting his enemy in hellish flames. This move doesn't require too much energy, but overtime it takes a lot more out of him.
Judgement - This is much like Indignation, only there are multiple beams raining from Heaven and bursting from Hell. The beams are obviously of a much smaller caliber, but they are fired randomly, Ritsuka cannot control where or when they will strike, and is thus at risk as well. Though, usually the beam isn't fired at where he summons the spell from.
Indignant Judgement - A spell that's still in the works. Ritsuka will start off by summoning the energy of Indignation into his body, as the majority of it doesn't belong to him in the first place, but his rights as the caster allow him to devour it. He then glows brightly in a white light as he floats in the air, his body curled up slightly as he concentrates. After a few moments, Ritsuka will unravel himself and throw his arms and legs beneath him as he shouts, the massive collection of energy exploding from his body into a mini-nuclear explosion. This is a little stronger than indignation, hurts Ritsuka even more, and also has a higher chance of catching his opponent off guard.
^ Unuseable due to lack of power at the time
More spells to come later.
~*~Weapons/Gear~*~
*The Tempest Gale*
Picture
A vicious blade that is said to be one with the wind. It can attack very swiftly and deal good damage if used properly. Ritsuka can hide it easily and summon it with magic.
*Eagle's Eye Rifle*
Picture
A sniper rifle that is said to grant one the ability to never miss their target. So far, Ritsuka has never missed a shot. It can only hold up to 15 shots however, and it's a semi-auto so if by chance he did miss, he could continue firing a barrage. Dauragon isn't as skilled with the rifle as Ritsuka is.
*Betrayer's Wrath Magnum*
Picture
The weapon of choice for Ritsuka's alter Vampyre form. To the humans, it is the most powerful handgun ever created. To Dauragon, it just got even better. It holds up to 18 shots, and is infused with sunlight in order to swiften the defeat of the vampires who are shot with it. Ritsuka is able to use this gun, but Dauragon is far more skilled with it.
*Galeos Gauntlets*
Picture
Gauntlets inherited from his bloodline, they correspond to Ritsuka's alchemy only, and can be used in a variety of ways. For example, arm blades, or shields. The higher his alchemy ability is, the greater things he can do with the gauntlets.
*Mask Of Storms*
Ritsuka wearing mask
Ritsuka always wears this mask when fighting. It protects his face, most particularly the eyes. Debris from explosions and the like won't harm his vision in any way, and the mask helps when the enemy attempts to use blinding light as well. It is equipped with a special lense, it is non-visible from the outside, but those wearing the mask could see through it clear as day. The lense, enchanted with powerful magic from an unknown person, allows for him to keep his vision normal no matter what the situation in combat.
