Scenario: A Rather Large Rupture has been detected in France, in one of the many castles of France. The Villages nearby have suffered from increase attacks by the animals that lived in the nearby woods, but the people that realize these aren't normal beasts have been memory wiped by the Tracers. In truth these "Animals" are monsters, living breathing horrors of corrupted mana. The castle itself contains this rupture, and it is slowly growing in power. Unable to ignore the threat, the Academy dispatches a few students to deal with the situation. For the moment, the students who have volunteered to join the mission have been gathered at the Briefing room, which is conveniently located next to the teleporter room.

Lucian had been itching for a test of his skills. He had acquired a few new spells on his journey to his homeland. He was quite eager to try them out, unfortunately his studies had robbed him of any time to head to the training grounds in order to test his newly enhanced abilities. That was when he noticed the announcement about a mission. He readily signed up, but now instead of a thrilling challenge he found himself sitting in a room, waiting to be briefed about the mission.
Lucian found himself twitching anticipatingly in his seat, "This briefing had better be short," he mutteread annoyedly as he clenched his fist. He was ready to just bolt out of the room and head for the teleporter. Lucian could not wait to get on with the mission and bust a few monster skulls. Why did this, of all missions, have to start with a boring briefing. Lucian's hand wandered up his arm, exploring his tattoos. These tattoos the ones that gave him his power and would allow him to be a valuable addition to the team that was being assembled for this mission. Lucian wondered if it were ever possible to lose them, he had never heard of it happening and his father's journal said nothing about anyone in the family being stripped of their tattoos. He figured that the plant the ink was created from had some sort of trait that allowed the ink to bond permanently to the skin.

Darian heard the news and rushed himself through preparations. France had a rupture. His homeland had a rupture and he wanted to help deal with it. France was always important to him and he had no intentions of letting it get hurt by a magical rupture. More importantly he'd be important in this mission since he knew the environment being a native of the country. He had viewed much of France before he had went to the Academy and still explored now and then when he had an opportunity to for vacation. The Gun Mage was wearing two things around his neck first was the Medallion from Sirius the second was the necklace from Shea. He carried only four of his weapons in an effort for light travel.
Darian.
We have to go Orchid.
Darian reached the briefing room with Orchid his familiar the large snow leopard walking beside him whom he gave a small smile at. Yes Orchid might be handy in this mission. He saw one other who he gave a wave at as he took his seat.

Shea had been painting in her room. She was trying her hand at painting China and that took not only skill but patience and dedication. To repeat the same design over and over again on a full set of China before they would be glazed and baked it was difficult to keep them all the same. Bella sat up suddenly.
There's been a instance in France.
France?
Yes, you know that country your boyfriend comes from.
All right, All right don't be tacky.
You asked the stupid question.
Damn it Bella.
I think we should go, Darian might like your support.
Very well then. Let's go.
She dropped her paintbrush in a cup of water knowing when she got back she'd regret ruining such a expensive brush yet there were more where that one had come from and right now there were more important things. She took off the painting tshirt she had on revealing a light green sweater that accented her eyes as well as her body. Light colored blue jeans covered her lower body. She slipped on white tennis shoes and slipped on her bracelets the only jewels she ever removed and then only when painting.
"Let's go Bel." she said as she let her hair fall down from her pony tail yet kept the band around her left and unjeweled wrist so if she needed it she had it.
She entered the room where they were to meet for a briefing according to Bella as relayed through from Orchid. She looked at Darian and smiled brightly. Another boy with tatoos covering his arms was there was well. She sat down in a set and crossed one leg over the other.
"Good day to you both." she said with a warm smile to both Darian, whom she knew very well, and to the newest boy.

A plush toy, much like a lion, but wth oddly deformed proportions, made its way silently into the briefing room. The cloth and stuffing barely made any noise, even if it was trying to, and couldn't make any "speaking" sounds either. One could easily ask why such an odd animated toy was in the briefing room, which was precisely what the business cards held in Zeke's left paw explained;
I am Zeke.
My creator, Ezra Emmerich, is currently indisposed. However, he has sent me to take care of his duties while he cannot. I am an animated construct made from his magic, and was made stronger than most people, so I should still be able to be of help on this task.
Thank you for understanding.
Zeke would hand one of the cards out to anyone who asked, or even looked at him funny. Hopefully, it would take care of any questions they might have for the construct. To aid in sealing the rupture, Zeke had brought along a military-style rucksack with a few mana batteries inside it. They were normally used to power a construct, but could also be used to discharge a large amount of mana. Since one of the ways to seal a rupture was to fill it with mana, the batteries might just come in handy.

(Wolf had heard some problems going on in the place known as France. He made his way to the area to see what was going on. From what he was able to get, there was an attack of some kind of monsters attacking a village near a castle. He hoped to find any clues to his problem. If not, he would help the people in the village to get their lives back in orders. But there was a meeting place for all that would go so he made his way there. Jumping from roof to roof, he spotted the area of where they would leave. Jumping off from the last roof, he landed on the ground with both feet and went into the Briefing room. There, he saw four others. They seemed to be nothing but students.
Wolf just leaned on the wall to see what will happen. But then his left arm started to shack a bit and Wolf held it down with his right hand. He cape was behind him so any one could see his left arm shacking a bit. Wolf knew that the arm could smell blood coming soon. So he just waited, holding his arm down)

"Good for you to attend this then, brave Students" A voice came, very composed and relaxed at that...
Opening the door to the teleporter room, a figure walked in, clad in robes with a mantle over his back. On his face was a visor, hiding his eyes as a blade was at his side. This was one other then Kenji Rio....The leader of the Tracers. Behind him a few Tracers scurried in, their head low as they laid out a few artifacts upon the table. As Kenji tapped his hand upon one of them, a virtual-like map appeared...hovering above the device. On it, there was a map of a giant castle, and near it were about five villages and a large forest overing all of them. Turning to face one of his subordinates, the Tracer quickly turned off the lights, as Kenji looked at the students...Only able to see their souls....
"We have a situation in France" He began, quietly as usual. "A rupture has appeared in this castle about one week ago, and with it the surrounding villages have been viciously attacked by the animals of the woods that have been magically infected. Be them ravens, wolves and what not, they have been attacking. Unfortunately, the attacks lead to the destruction of a village, which is here...."
With that, Kenji zoomed in to a apparently empty slot of land.... "There was once a village here. However, the rupture that was created caused for the animals infected to turn into monsters, and with it they attacked the village. The destruction of the Village ended fairly quickly...no more then five hours ago. However, in that time we, the Tracers, burned all evidence, rebuilt the land via nature magic and then forced the French government to remove the village from existing files as well as track down relatives of the villagers to keep quiet or be memory wiped if chance permitted. It is sad to see that these villagers leave the world without a trace...but to protect our secret, things must be done."
With that, Kenji paused....giving time for the students to absorb it. Hopefully they wouldn't care for the fact that the Tracers burned the village with corpses, rebuilt the land to which they died and then erased their existence...but for magic to survive steps must be made. Regardless, he didn't care too much for them.....He himself was actually rather cold and emotionless....
"Regardless, we believe that the animals have retreated to the castle to regroup before attacking another village. My Tracers have been dispatch to further hide evidence...But i want you to end these monster's lives before they can destroy another village. You will be teleported to the former area of the Village, which is closest to the castle. Once there, you shall proceed to the fortress and break inside through the main gate. These beasts have no idea how to work the castle so getting inside will be easy and there will probably be no traps awaiting you. Once there, i want you to slay the bests...and then throw this into the rupture which is probably at the top of the castle..."
With that, Kenji placed a small cube on the table, glistening with magical sparkles. "This is a Rupture Closer. For mages who do not know the correct spell to close a rupture, the spell has been placed conveniently inside this cube, as per the work of an Alchemist. Throw this inside the Rupture and then leave immediately. The Tracers will soon be one their way to clear the castle of all evidence and what not...."
With that, Kenji got up and opened the door to the Teleporter room...awaiting for the students to proceed through the blue gate to head to the village that was destroyed.

Lucian grinned, these Tracers were very efficient. An entire village wiped from existance in merely a few hours. Lucian admired their ability and efficiency. Maybe one day he would try to join their ranks. That was null and void for now however, no need to worry about the future when their was a mission at hand. The rupture needed to be closed and these mutated animals needed to be stopped before another village was required to be wiped from existance.
"Sounds simple enough...kill a few beasts, toss the cube in the hole," Lucian said softly, mostly to himself as he started to stand. He stretched a little as prepared to head through the teleporter. Lucian was ready for a challenge and he would be rather disappointed if the mission turned out to be as easy as it sounded. Luckily for him, fate usually had away of turning something that sounded easy on paper into something much more difficult in practice.
He cracked his knuckles audibly as he observed his teammates for this mission. A rich looking boy with guns, interesting, his firepower would certainly come in handy. Next a girl decked out in jewels, Lucian hoped that whatever she did it packed a punch. Then there was...a doll?! Of all things to send in pace of himself, this Ezra Emmerich had sent a doll. Lucian sighed a little as he moved towards the door, grabbing the Rupture Closer off the table. Then he noticed the last member of this odd little team, a taller man in a cape, Lucian got no distinct feeling from him, as he could see no outward sign of whatever his magic could be, though his arm did seem to be shaking.
"Well good luck everyone, oh and my name is Lucian and I will see you on the other side," he said, his voice thick with a Romanian accent. He gave them a grin and a small wave as he moved towards the blue gate of the teleporter. There was a tingling feeling as he stepped into the gate, then nothing. Lucian felt a rush of air as he hurtled through time and space, stepping out onto the land that was once a village. Lucian chuckled as he looked around, observing the Tracer's handiwork....very efficient.

The mission was simple enough. But it was bound to be more than easy. They had no advanced warning on what kinds of monsters were out there for them to combat. For all they knew, they could be fighting something far out of their league. It was like being a guinea pig for an experiment. Their mission was more to scout the area, and handle the situation if it was within their capability. Quite frankly, being used as a preliminary test was annoying. But a gig was a gig, so long as it made the construct stronger. And there was a rift-sealing cube. Quite a handy item to have around for a mission like this. But that guy who gave him a condescending look had already taken it.
Zeke took the claws of one hand and tore a section of it's lower jaw deliberately. With whispy trails of mana flowing from the tips, the fabric began re-stitching itself into a new shape; a mouth with canine teeth. With a few openings and closings, Zeke loosened the jaw a little and actually spoke. "C'mon, let's get this over with." The voice was light and child-like, and one could almost expect the construct to bark like a puppy.
Running on all fours, Zeke managed to beat out the human easily to the teleport room. But the oddly accented guy had already introduced himself tot he group by the time Zeke was disappearing from view. When Zeke jumped out the other end of the teleportation, it dug it's claws into the dirt, tearing tracks into the dirt as it skidded to a halt. "Alright, so how long is it going to take them to get through the teleportation? Just want to get this over with, and get back to my real task..."

An entire village gone...
Never exsisted...
Erased from my homeland's history...
Why...
Darian shivered slightly as he looked down at the ground he was listening oh yes a rupture had opened up in one of the castle's which probably meant that their were going to be plenty of monsters. Yet at the same time Darian was shaking as he looked down at the ground. Sure they were monsters but, at the same time didn't what the Tracers just do equally barbaric? Eliminating the exsistance of an entire village from the history of the world in a mere few hours. Darian knew the necessity of it yet at the same time he was mad. How could they do this without even giving people proper last rights? Without even letting their family known that relatives died. So many memories lost because of all this and the Tracers jobs of protecting. Protecting? Was this truly protection?
It's not right...
Darian...
Darian was glad that Shea was here he was able to keep himself in check because of that. Because as long as he was with her he was able to keep his instinct from going off. His instinct right now was urging him to yell at these men. For what they did. Darian gazed at the map again. Of course he knew the topography of the terrain. He had no problem in that.
"Shea...what they did...isn't right," Darian said softly to her.
Darian did take this a tad personally. This was his own country. He walked with the others to the teleporters seeing Zeke and Lucian already ahead. When they reached the area he turned to them. Wolf was with them as well a familiar ally.
"Darian Dumonte a pleasure to meet you wall."

Kenji watched as the students talked among themselves. Silently reading off their Spirit Auras, Kenji began to understand them a bit more. Lucian here was rather impressed by the Tracers...and perhaps an opening can be made for this man...As it seems he genuinely wants in. However, upon Darian he saw a sense of disgust at their actions. Young as he is, he couldn't yet understand the horrors and pain the Tracers must face when destroying and wiping out an entire village off existence, nor the power of the secret of magic. Indeed, the burning days of the inquisition is enough to show that magic must be kept secret.... for over four hundred thousand died in the fires of hatred and xenophobia.
Regardless, as the group walked through the portal, they would see a clear field...a perfectly and utterly well made field. The burnt ground was very well hidden, as the grass that was grown via nature magic seemed to fit right in with the old grass. Such was the handiwork of the tracer...being able to both track and hide things. In the distance, there were some tracers, as they began to approach the group to detail them, a cadre of wolves jumped from out of the woods. They attacked the Tracers, pushing them back as they too took out their weapons and began firing on the wolves. Meanwhile, three wolves appeared before the group... One that was red like fire, the other bearing fur as white as snow and the last with fur deep and metallic. Indeed, these wolves were not native to the land, and were obviously magical in nature...

Lucian grinned as he watched some of his teammates come through the portal. Zeke, Ezra's little doll seemed to have beat him through the gateway. Lucian chuckled a little, maybe the little construct would be of more use than Lucian had anticipated. Lucian did have an annoying habit to underestimate those around him. It was one he was working to break but found himself consistently unable to do so. No need to concentrate on personal faults now though, there was a mission at hand. The boy with the guns, Darian Dumonte he had introduced himself as, stepped through the portal behind them.
Crack! Crack!
Lucian's head turned sharply towards the Tracer welcoming party as he heard their weapons discharge. They had been jumped by a pack of wolves who were attacking them quite viciously. Lucian started to move to help them when heard three low, gutteral growls. It seems they too had attracted the attention of some of these mutant wolves. A red one, a white one, and a metallic looking one. Ah so the magic had imbued them with elemental properties. Lucian was not exactly sure which one to take first so he decided on all three.
"I apologize Mr. Dumonte...it seems we will have to save the formal chat for later," he said with a grin as he touched the necessary runes for his Aether Blast spell on his right arm. A ball of quicksilver energy sprung to life in his hands and he flung it at the wolves. There was a mild explosion and the fire and ice wolves seemed stunned. The metallic one on the other hand weathered the blast mostly unharmed. The wolf lunged at Lucian who touched the runes for his Knight's Armor spell. Suddenly his whole body was metal and there was a clang as the metallic wolf hit metal.
Lucian grinned and started to rain down punches on the wolf. However the beast did not want to seem to go down too quickly as it lunged at him again. This time, Lucian missed the grapple he was going for and felt the full weight of the beast crash against him. There was tinny thud as the two collapsed to the ground, wrestling against each other. Lucian finally managed to wrap a metal-encased hand around the wolf's throat and hurled it at it's brethren. The Knight's Armor spell faded and his body returned to normal.
"If any of you would like to step in, I would appreciate the help," he said with a soft chuckle as he activated his Arm of the Golem spell. The metallic-looking wolf lunged again and this time was met with a solid stone uppercut under the jaw which sent it flying back, landing in a heap of dust.

Well getting rid of an entire village wasn't something she thought was the best idea but then again what choice had they really had. She didn't know what other options there would have been and protecting the existance of magic was key. Most of the students as far as she knew, their parents had no idea this was any different than an academy for gifted students. Not magically gifted just smart.
Her own parents thought so because they wouldn't understand the magic and so they didn't know. But that was not the reason they were here today. Throw said cube into rift after killing the baddies. Sounded easy enough except for that forbodding feeling in her gut that said it wasn't.
She stepped through the portal taking Darian's hand before he stepped through the only way she could comfort him. Nothing she could say would make it any better and so only her support could she offer. Yet, through the portal there was dense over growth and her eyes scanned it for a moment before they were confronted by the wolves.
Three total and she could only assume that the coat colors were representative of their elements. The red one had to be fire. The silver she could only assume was metal, something she had no real defense against. The white however could be water, ice, or light so that one was rather iffy.
She instantly touched her sapphire in her ear and called on her Ice Rain spell. Instantly the wolf, if the spell hit, would be stabbed with impaling the wolf with sharp iciles that fell from the sky. After the spell finished she turned her attention to the wolf that Lucian was fighting.
She touched her emerald and cast Vine Call on the metal wolf. If the spell worked as it was supposed to the vines and vegetation would begin to grow surrounding the wolf and holding him in place. This would enable Lucian to get the advantage.

(Getting off the wall, Wolf walked right into the potel. When he passed, he saw the others and the land they were on. Looking around Wolf looked at het ground. Getting on one knee, he felt the ground with his right hand. He could feel that the ground was part ashes. Meaning that someone was trying to hind the fact the place was burned. It was a bit add to see something like this. He wondered, but then he could hear something coming up to the ground.
Looking up, he saw three wolves. One being flames, the other being ice and the last one metal. He could recall fighting them before. So they would be no problem. But there was only three of them. He looked others, two of them was ready to fight. A young man seemed to powerd up his arms while a young lady used some kind of spell to hold up one of them. Three on five, with that kind of number, only three of the party was needed.
Getting up on both feet, he ran forword right at the wolves. But he jumped over them and landed on the other side behind the wolves. Turning around he looked at the others.)
You can handle them on your own. I'll go on ahead and see if there is any one that is still alive..
(Looking the other way, Wolf ran to go on ahead. With quick speed, his red cape was following behind. The more gorund he covered, the more odd of the feeling that he had about the area. Soon Wolf stopped as he say some more wolves.)
So you guys happen to be all over the place.
(Wolf drew large sword that was on his back. He could feel the power from the sword giving him more speed. Holding the sword with both hand he was ready for them to make the first move.)

As the Metal Wolf was under the constant attack of Lucian....he was then thrown back by a swift upper cut. Quietly hitting the ground, the wolf felt the pain of vines wrapping itself around it's body...crushing it. However, soon the eyes of the beast dilated...as spikes drove out of the body...Long steel ones. Soon enough, spikes began to appear everywhere....cutting off the vines that once constrained it. The wolf, at this point, looked more like a metal ball then an animal...But a metal ball that slightly hovered above the ground, creepy if one must say, and his dozen upon dozen of spikes shooting out of the body...with no blind spot as far as one could see. Meanwhile, the wolf that was impaled happened to be the white furred cloak (OoC: You didn't make it clear who you attacked Shea >.>).It, just like the other wolf, had it's eyes dilate... And with it the spikes became one with the body. The wolf's being was nothing more then just a stream of perpetually moving water....With only the head of the wolf on the water. In essence, he looked like a snake made completely of water...with the head of a wolf. With that, the last one began it's transformation...Turning from animal to a blaze of fire...burning contiously...
With that, the Metal floating one fired an endless salvo of metal spikes and needles at Lucian...the one who had attacked him so. The Water one turned it's attention back onto the one who had also attacked him, firing spikes of ice from it's mouth to return the favor. The fire one, meanwhile, stayed behind....watching quietly. All the wolves, save the fire, were injured now...and were uneasily treading to death. For when their energy runs out....What happens then?
Meanwhile, what appeared before wolf were two wolves...One green and the other brown. Quickly they snarled at Wolf...as one soon jumped forward...The neck of the green wolf, the one who jumped, soon began to expand...with the neck looking more like a vine then anything else. The brown one, mean while, howled out...sending pieces of earth to shot up in the form of spikes toward Wolf....
