Lucian grinned as it seemed the team was coming together. Wolf had gone ahead to check for surviors while he, Shea, Darian, and Zeke dealt with the remaining wolves. It was actually turning out to be as easy as it sounded. Lucian watched satisfied as the metal wolf he had dispatched with an uppercut was wrapped in vines. Shea's doing apparently, those jewels packed quite the punch. Before assisting him she had assaulted the white wolf with a rain of icicles. She was quite the addition to the team, a nice support and long rage mage.
Lucian's grin faded as metal spikes started protruding from the metal wolf's fur. The vines snapped as the spikes continued to grow from every area of the wolf's body. Then it was no longer animal, it appeared like a spiked metal ball that hovered above the ground. What had magic done to these creatures?! Lucian quickly activated his Knight's Armor spell as a salvo of spikes and needles soared towards him. His skin turned metal and he crossed his arms in front of his face. The needles and spikes ricotched harmlessly off his metal skin, a few managed to create small cracks and fissures in his magically metal skin.
Lucian waited for the barrage to stop and then noticed a stream of ice spikes shooting towards Shea. She had helped him, now it was his turn. He deactivated his Knight's Armor spell and activated Dragon's Breath, he aimed a stream of intense fire at the ice spikes. The majority of them melted completely by the time they reached Shea. The few that remained were blunted by being melted and were completely harmless.
"Enough of these games, it's time to finish this," he said with a grin as he nodded at Shea. He activated the Aether Blast spell on his right arm and fired a ball of energy at the metal wolf. Quickly he activated his Skeletal Blade spell on his left arm, after a few minutes of sickening cracking a bone of blade protruded from his wrist. He dashed behind the ball of aether energy he had launched early. After it impacted against the wolf Lucian struck, slashing, slicing, and stabbing relentlessly at the severely weakened creature. Lucian could feel the metal ball start to give way to the pressure, cracking audibly.
"Die beast!" He roared as he held his arm up in the air with the point of the bone blade facing down at the already cracked and weakened metal ball that was the wolf. He brought his blade down quickly and with a burst of angry speed. He heard a satisfied crack as the blade pierced the metal ball. The stress of that central blow was too much after the beast had already taken so much damage. Cracks and fissures audibly started spidering there way across the metal ball. Lucian jumped back, deactivating his Skeletal Blade spell and standing beside Shea to see what would happen to the wolf. It had already surprised him once and he was watching it carefully to keep from getting caught off guard again.

(When Wolf got ready, it seemed that there was two wolves. One green and one brown. Meaning that the green one was a plant like type and the brown one most be a earth like type. Wolf didn't have time for this, he had to go pass them. So that meant he had to end this in the quick manner. Soon, the green wolf jumped up into the air and the neck was becoming bigger and looked like vines. The other one howled and stikes come from the ground. Pulling his large sword over his right shoulder, his left hand was free. He drew his other sword and spung it infront of him. Breaking up the earth spikes.
When the green wolf was coming in close Wolf sent his large sword down with a huge swing. Meaning when the green wolf got close, it would be slashed at the head. After that slash, Wolf sheathed both swords and drew from his deck holder on the right side of the belt. He gained in right hand a Jack of Diamond, 2 of Hearts, 4 of Club, Ace of Hearts, and a 7 of Diamond.
Wolf with his quick speed ran up to the brown wolf. At the same time he ran, he picked 3 of the cards and threw them infront of him. They were in order, the Ace of Diamond, 4 of Club, and 7 of Diamond.)
Ace of Diamond fusen. 4 of Club, Punch. 7 of Diamond, Beam.
(The three cards would make the skill known as Smaster Fist. The Ace of Diamond placed itself on Wolf's chest, while the 4 of Club placed itself on his left arm , and the 7 of Diamond on his right. With a back fist stick movement of his right hand. It sent a energy spike at the brown wolf and when Wolf was close, he sent his left fist. Punching the spike and drilling it into the brown wolf. After the cards was used, they went back to the bottem of the deck.)
Sorry you two. But I have things to do.
(Wolf ran on ahead where the village should be at. He hope to find someone and get some info on what happened and why is there fake plant life around. An the element wolves raise more questions. Questions that needed answers.)

The Metal wolf fell down, broken from the attack as silver blood flowed from it's body. It was dead now, as the flair of mana flew from it's body. Meanwhile, as the ice was burnt off from the attack sent to Shea, the Water wolf then began to move, first with whipped it's end against the girl. The fire wolf, at that point, soon shot a rapid burst of fire at Lucian...but these were special. They exploded at the Wolf's whim. So when it gets close enough, instead of making contact, the wolf would cause the ball to explode, making it hard for Lucian to dodge and creating splash damage to anything near.
Meanwhile, as Wolf ran from the wolves, they got back up. With a howl they began, their body transforming as well. Spikes of granite filled the earth Wolf's body as the Plant Wolf began to have it's main body disengage....making the beast look like a pile of vines then anything. Regardless, from the back of Wolf did a line of vines appear...sharp at the ends as they tried to hit the Joker. The Earth one, meanwhile, shot granite spike from it's body, aiding to cause pain to the Joker...

Lucian grinned as he saw the silver blood start to leak out of the metal wolf. One down and he had singlehandedly taken that one down. Now of course it was time to support his teammates, Darian and Zeke had not yet joined in the fray so for now it as he and Shea facing down the last two remaining wolves. Lucian wanted to get to Wolf who he could see in the distance, battling two wolves by himself.
Lucian started to move to help Shea who was currently under assault by the water wolf. He took a step towards her before he noticed an orange glow speeding towards him from the corner of his eyes. He threw his arms over his upper chest and head in an X before the ball exploded sending him skidding back several feet. He cursed as he shook his arms out a little, his forearms were singed from the blast. Lucian noticed several other balls of fire coming towards him. He figured the beast could make balls explode which is why the first one had exploded when it was so conveniently close to him.
"Damn wolves," he muttered angrily as he activated the Shriek spell on his right arm and the Aether Blast spell on his left. His angry scowl turned to a grin, "Time to play beast," he said as he started shooting off blasts of sonic-enhanced air at the fireballs. The idea was to use the super compressed blasts of air and sound to put out the balls of fire. After he finished that he started hurling balls of Aether energy at the wolf. Several balls of the quicksilver energy collided with the wolf's body, creating a large white explosion.
Lucian grinned viciously and continued an alternating pattern of his Aether Blast spell and the Shriek spell. He didn't even give the dust time to settle as he continued to pound the wolf with energy and sound. Lucian could feel himself growing weaker though. The wolf would have to be finished soon or he might not be of much more use to his teammates. It didn't help though that two of them just seemed to be sitting back and watching while the he, Shea, and Wolf did all the work.

It was turning out to be an interesting battle. It seemed to her that Darian and Ezra had just frozen up or something they weren't helping at all but she wasn't going to leave Lucian to fight on his own as Wolf was scouting ahead.
She had luckily been working on her star ruby, a gift from her boyfriend and now was the time to begin to test this puppy out on a real enemy. Two spells thus far had come out of it and she was planning to use them here. Much more powerful were the spells she had unlocked within the jewel and they had even surprised her when they came about.
But before she could switch jewels however the water wolf attacked her. Whipping out against her she fell back with a hard thud on the ground. For a moment she was stunned but she was back to business as Lucian came under attack. Allright objective one is get rid of the water wolf, objective two mana to the group, and objective three heal Lucian.
Standing quickly she grabbed the star ruby around her neck the diamond with the small ruby inside was powerful, her most powerful jewel yet. Her hand closed around the gem as she focused on the water wolf. The air around her began to whip slightly as it gathered into a funnel the ruby came into effect and fire filled the funnel making the Fire Cyclone.
Sending the cyclone on a direct path for the water wolf. Her eyes on the wolf so she could adjust the fire cyclone if he moved. It was going to hit if she had anything to say about it. Once the attack hit if it would she shifted gears.
Grabbing the diamond around her neck she cast Refresh. Mana swam through the area rejuvinating the members that had lost mana through spell casting. And if all went well and the water wolf was either down or killed she moved over to Lucian and touched his arm.
"This will heal you." she said softly into his ear.
She reached up touching her emerald and her other hand still on Lucian she cast her healing spell over him. The burns from the attack the wolf had given him would now be healed. She couldn't heal herself but as long as she had mana she could support her other team members.
TEAM MEMBERS MANA HAS BEEN RESTORED TO LUCIAN, WOLF, AND SHEA.

((OOC: Please excuse my absence. Trying to find a job kind of took up a lot of my time.))
Zeke emerged from behind a tree, the makeshift mouth again sealed with a series of tight woven strands of black material. It didn't seem to show any emotion at all, not even looking like it was sorry for abandoning the fight. The truth was that Zeke wasn't meant for combat, thought fully capable of doing so. Especially in his current condidtion. But the mind that occupied the fluff wasn't going to fight an unneccessary battle.
Zeke knelt down next to the metal wolf, placing a paw just over the spilled blood. As whispy blue tendrils flowed fromt he claws, the blood began to shape itself into a ball, then stayed as if it had always been that way. The next part came from the skin of the wolf itself, which was ripped from the wolf cleanly, rolling itself up into a cylinder. The cylinder enclosed the ball of liquid, then closed over it's ends and sealed itself. It was a complex action, merely to bottle a sample of the mana wolf blood.
If the other wolves had anything left intact, Zeke would gather a sample of their mana-altered DNA, just like he had the metal wolf. Each sample would go into one of the side pockets of the military style rucksack Zeke had brought along. Ezra could use those materials for research, and possibly learn how to develop a phase changing metal. In other words, the materials were extermely valuble to Ezra.

ooc: I would like to state that I am no where new you guys and I am on my own.
ic: (As the Joker Wolf tryed to make it to the village area after he knocked out the Earth and Plant wolf. But the Joker heard some kind of howl. Looking stoping and looking behind him, he saw something coming in fast and rolled out of the way. It seemed the Plant became more nasty looking. As Wolf raised his left arm up to use as a shield, he could hear something coming. Looking to his side, he saw a spike coming in. Ducking it zoomed past him. But more came at him. With his right hand, the Joker drew his large sword and started to slash at the spikes, breaking them up and moving away from them. He also watched out for the Plant Wolf taht was still trying to kill him. The Joker tryed to get some range between the Plant Wolf.
So the Joker threw his sword like a boomerange, hoping to hit the Plant Wolf to slow it down. With his right hand now free, he drew five cards from his deck holder. He drew 4 of Spade, Ace of Club, 6 of Spade, 5 of Diamond, and 10 of Diamond. Kept moving and put the cards in order. After workds, he threw them in front of him. All 5 five cards.)
Ace of Club, Fusen. 6 of Spade, Speed, 5 of Diamond, Fire. 10 of Diamond, Power. 4 of Spade, Punch.
(The Ace of Club came back into the bottem of the deck while the 6 of Spade and 10 of diamond placed themselfs on the Joker's chest. The 4 of Spade and 5 of Diamond placed themselfs on his right arm. Joker was now fast, powerful, and flames on his right arm. He had one shot to end of the Plant Wolf. With the 6 of Spade, he ran up to the Plant Wolf in a zig zag movements and with the 10 of Diamonds, he was more faster. The Joker balled up his right hand into a fist and a brust of flames covered it. When he was close, the Joker strike the Plant Wolf with a powerful punch. Hoping to it. If it did, the Plant Wolf would be in flames.)

Lucian continued his barrage on the fire wolf but could feel the strength slipping from him. Sweat beaded on his forehead and started to slip down his cheeks, dripping off his jaw in small droplets. His energy was fading and fast, the barrage of Shriek and Aether Blast spells he was pounding the fire wolf with could not be continued much longer. He needed to finish the beast and fast. He noticed with a grin that Shea had managed to weather the water wolf's attack and attack it with a vicious attack that appeared to be a cyclone of fire.
Suddenly just as Lucian felt his knees start to buckle from the strain of using so much energy he felt energy course through his body. He felt fully rejuvenated and grinned clenching his fists and reveling in the feeling of being fully renewed with energy. Lucian looked around a little and noticed Shea with her jewels, she had apparently cast a spell to rejuvenate himself, Shea, and Wolf. Lucian grinned and then noticed her step close to him and told him she was going to heal him. She touched a jewel and then his arm, he felt the burn wounds on his forearms vanish and the cuts and bruises from wrestling with the metal wolf heal almost instantly.
He smiled and nodded, "You have my thanks miss," he said as he turned back in the direction of the wolves, "I don't believe I caught your name but I suppose that will have to wait until later," he said as he grinned darkly, "I have some business to finish," he said as he activated the Aether Blast spell on both of his arms. He pressed the balls of energy against one another, melding them into one big ball of quicksilver energy. He launched into the air, spiking the large ball of Aether energy down onto the fire wolf. He landed with a grin as the explosion cast a brief eerie glow over his face. That would have to do it, the fire wolf would have to be finished now. Hopefully Shea will have taken care of the water wolf as well then they could move on ahead and catch up with Wolf who had apparently abandoned them to move ahead.

The fire wolf, after weathering such powerful attacks, soon enough just was destroyed.....burned to a crisp as it returned back to it's regular form. Indeed Lucian had did quite a number on it, Meanwhile, the water wolf soon found itself evaporating into the air....destroyed from the fire tornado which had screwed it over. Indeed, the fight between the wolves was done now... The fire burned to a crisp, probably from losing it's control and killing itself, as the water wolf was completely evaporated....
Meanwhile, as Wolf finished off the plant wolf the Earth wolf howled in a low and dark tone, sending out the spikes to shot up on the ground. The way the spikes were shooting up though, meant that he was sending a line of shooting up earth, aiming the spikes at Wolf. No matter what, these line of spikes would follow Wolf...trying to impale him on the dirt.....
As such, the Tracers nearby that fought the wolves were done, moving over toward the ground. They were injured, and one was unconcious....but they were still up and ready to fight...
"Okay" One said, his tone tired and exhausted. "The castle should be down the road to which your friend took... Please follow him as we send ourselves to the medical ward..."
With that, the Tracers opened a small portal with some sort of device, walking through this hole into the Hospital tent in a nearby Tracer Encampment.....

(After burning the Plant Wolf to nothing, the Joker looked over at the last one of his opponet. Howling like the moon was out. But soon, Wolf spotted lines that was coming in fast. He wanted and at the last minute, Wolf moved the side and quickly try to stay away from the lines. Wolf tryed to move in close but one of the lines was getting in close and Wolf had to jump to the side. As he tryed to stay away from the lines, he drew five more cards. he gained 8 of Hearts, 10 of Club, 9 of Spade, Ace of Diamon, and 10 of Hearts. With his left hand he picked the three cards he needed. Doing a 180 spin, he was facing the lines and threw the cards.)
Ace of Diamond, Fusen. 10 of Club, Power. 9 of Spade, Shield.
(The Ace of Diamond and the rest of the cards went into the bottem of the deck and the 10 of Club and 9 of Spade placed themselfs on Wolf's chest. After that, a energy shield was infront of Wolf. Drawing his large sword from his back, he spun it with both hand and ran up to the Earth Wolf. Because the shield was there and it was not five times stronger, he just ran right up to the Earth Wolf. By using the force of the sword, he spun his body once, adding power to the blow. When he was in range, Wolf brought his sword down with great force on the Earth Wolf's body.)

Lucian grinned with a grim sense of satisfaction. That was only their first encounter with the the mutant magical creatures that were running rampant in these parts. It had not been overly difficult but the creatures did apparently have surprise for them. Lucian would not be surprised at all if they encountered much more complex and devious creatures than these mere elemental wolves. He was grateful though to have Shea at his side during this battle. The two of them had made an excellent pair on the battlefield.
"Thank you for your help miss," he said with a slight but grateful bow, "I'm Lucian," he said as he held hand to shake hers. He had no sleeves so his arm and all of his tattoos would be quite exposed. Lucian needed quick access to them in a mission like this so he had opted for a black, clingy but flexible tank top.
After Lucian had finished shaking Shea's hand he started to jog down the pass that Wolf had taken, "I would spend more time on introductury chit chat but we must press on. One of our teammates is ahead somewhere and I worry as to his safety. Afterall it took two of us to take on three of the wolves despite how talented we both are," he said with a grin. Lucian continued to jog forward, hoping to catch up to Wolf. He had seen what the wolves had done to the Tracers and he was rather excited to see what other challenges this mission had in store for him.

The devastation that was caused to his homeland cut Darian deeply in a way that he couldn’t quite understand yet. He opened his eyes and looked around but, knew that the devastation was total and complete. He knew this terrain he had been here before when it was living and vibrant. It would never exist anymore. It would take years before this land was reclaimed. Maybe even centuries. It bugged Darian tremendously so great was the pain and distraction that he ignored the combat that was around him. He didn’t see the fighting or he would have reacted Orchid frozen it seemed in worry for his master. Darian opened his eyes and looked around and the pure and unrivaled devastation that had swept the area. This was once a beautiful region and Darian could see some of the sloppier casting to make it appear natural. Oh yes but, a native would know the difference unfortunately anyone who knew this terrain well were either dead, persuaded to forget, or had their memories altered.
This was protecting the magical world? This abomination of casting and abuse of the powers that they were gifted with. It made Darian sick. Sick beyond all belief. His own home to be twisted in such a way. His homeland. The place where he had been born. It made Darian bitter at the magical war for a brief moment. While he understood the necessity of it all in order to protect their interests he still wanted to not believe that it had happened in France. What had cut him the most wasn’t because he hadn’t been in a fight before oh no he could fight with the best of them. Yet he was frozen, unwilling, unmotivated to fight. It was something that brought his attention. He finally snapped out of the trance-like state and saw Shea had fought. He chewed his thumb for a moment Orchid finally snapping him out of his reverie. What had happened here wasn’t right and even worse he froze up in the middle of a fight.
“Shea,” he looked at her for a moment and then at the terrain again. “All this, is it really the magical secret we’re defending? Do the ends justify the means? It just doesn’t seem right what happened here. How they wiped the existence of a village, of people, of lives from the history of the world in an instant.” Darian said taking this whole devastation personally there was no other way to describe it. He stared at Lucian for a moment and then to her as he finally opened one of his holsters and drew his prized Forest Raven. “I guess I have no choice, I never thought I would have to use my gifts in my homeland to ensure, that things are forgotten.”
Choose your words carefully Darian.
Or else what Orchid? These people deserve at least proper send-offs yet the Tracers treated them as an inconvenience. Funerals can not be given to the dead here!
DARIAN! FOCUS! You can not bring back the dead! Yet you can properly ensure that what caused the deaths is ended!
There is nothing that justifies this…this…
Darian didn’t say anymore as Orchid suddenly bit into Darian’s wrist it was the effect of being slapped in the face. Orchid had never bit Darian before. To do so meant that Darian must have really slipped up in the eyes of the leopard. Orchid had broken the skin and blood welled up which he licked away. Darian looked down at his familiar for a moment. He crouched down and saw his familiar’s concern. He opened a pack and bandaged the injury shaking his head if Shea tried to heal him. “You can take care of it later, right now save your energy,” Darian said to her softly. He kissed her cheek lightly and then went with her after Lucian, Orchid coming along and taking the point position to keep an eye out for trouble.

So it seemed the little lion had finally decided to come out and fight with them. She grinned. She and Lucian had done rather well taking out the wolves on their own and supporting each other. They made a great team and she had to admit she enjoyed working with him.
The wolves were down but not without some damage to the Tracers. And before she was able to even offer to heal them even in the slightest regards they left via teleport. She turned to Lucian and firmly shook his hand a smile on her face as he finally introduced himself.
"Shea Donnovan." she replied. "A pleasure fighting beside you."
This was definatly a fight. They had finished one battle that was for sure but she had a feeling it would not be the only one. But she had her spells and she was not afraid to use them. To support or to fight she was ready for either. The man, Lucian, took off running down the road towards the castle and she was about to run after him when Darian's voice broke through.
The words he spoke only proved to anger her. Normally, she would have felt bad for him understanding his pain but in the middle of a battle is not exactly the time to freeze up like that. She and Lucian had made a great team it was the only reason that they had survived.
"You cannot think of that right now. You signed up for this mission. And you committed yourself to it. Honestly, Darian you have to put your personal feelings behind you now and fight." she said.
She turned and ran after Lucian. She didn't see Orchid bite him or hear the words he spoke after. She had a job to do and she was here to see that it was done. There was no way she was going to let Lucian fight alone, they made a damn fine team and she wasn't going to break them up. As a dancer she was able to run quickly and fast her endurance being high as she caught up to him in no time.
"Hey there, leaving without your partner? How wrong is that?" she asked with a grin as she slowed down her running to keep pace with him. "We make a good team if you're hurt during all this, and I don't see it. Let me know and I'll do my best to get to you and heal you. Same for mana. Anytime, allright?"

Darian was a fast runner receiving additional training as and was a very quick person himself. He was used to running long and hard thanks to being trained as a fighting-type. Shea's reaction was expected and he grits his teeth slightly but, ran anyways. He already knew that Shea would probably want a word with him after the fight. Orchid was running ahead of all three scouting the terrain and keeping a wary eye out for ambushes the feline well aware of what a rupture could do. Both of them were familiar with the area there was no doubt about that. His Forest Raven was out the elegant pistol in his hand as he skimmed the area and his attention was jerked slightly at a word. Partner...that was what he was supposed to be to Shea had he not froze up. That was something that he realized the more he looked at it the more inexcusable it was. He wouldn’t freeze up in the next fight in fact he wasn’t going to hold back now. These monsters took the lives and legacy of the area he would make them pay for that.
What happened here…should at least be properly avenged…
Not exactly the answer I was looking for but, it’ll have to do.
I see she used the Star Ruby.
So did I.
Darian quickly checked the Raven making sure it was loaded with armor piercing rounds as he ran along beside them. “I apologize to both of you for freezing up earlier it was inexcusable.” Darian said, as he easily ran aside them Orchid still scouting ahead as he studied the area making sure that it was clear. The feline wasn’t about to let his allies get into an ambush and Orchid was a capable fighter himself. “Congratulations on learning to use the Star Ruby by the way Shea.”
Anything yet Orchid?
Nothing yet.

Lucian chuckled as Shea jogged up beside him, talking about him abandoning his partner. He nodded as he continued to jog down the path. They had indeed made a good team. Their abilities just seemed to compliment each other in battle uncannily well. She appeared quite elegant and docile but in battle she was like a different person. He had sorely underestimated her abilities and the magic of her jewels. She was deceptive that way but now that Lucian knew he would never make the mistake of underestimating her talent again. He continued to jog and looked over at her with a grin.
"I agree we do indeed make a good team. I thank you for your offer assistance and I will be more than happy to ask for your help if the need should arise," he said with a friendly grin and a nnod, "If you need any strengthening or need me to lend a little extra muscle to the situation please don't hesitate to ask," he said with a soft chuckle. His brow furrowed a little as Darian caught up with them. When they had been in the briefing room Darian seemed like a solid team member, apparently Lucian had not only underestimated Shea's strength, but Darian's courage.
"You're correct you're display of cowardice was indeed unexcusable, Mr. Dumonte. You seem to think too much of what the Tracer's did to this place. Regardless of your personal beliefs, we have a mission to accomplish, and I personally would rather not see any of us seriously hurt...especially not on the account of the inaction of one of our teammates," he said, his tone was cold and stern, "You seem to have a special relationship with Ms. Donovan here and I would assume that relationship entails you protecting her. But if you prove further unable to do so, I will be more than happy to lend my aid and protect her. I would rather you just sit aside in the next skirmish if you again feel unable to carry through and fight," he said as he stared ahead at the woods, not even making eye contact with Darian.
