"Lucian was it?" Darian asked in that cool tone that Shea knew all so well. It was that tone that said that Darian was keeping a tight leash on his trigger-finger right now. While being around her he was learning restraint with his guns but, oh the temptation was there. Darian shifted and in a sprint suddenly he was in front of them slightly so he could gaze directly at Lucian. His eyes were cool and it was evident that his patience was very tried with that comment. There was no doubt that Darian would fight now once his temper was tweaked and his temper was only matched with Shea's. His ruby eyes were leveled at Lucian and not moving he easily minding his surroundings. Yet right now they were focused on the person that was right there in front of him. The person who had just insulted him gravely. He narrowed his gaze for a brief moment.
"If you want to demolish teamwork like you just so aptly try to do then save it for the training field where I can give you a just response. I saw the way you approved at their 'methods' as barbaric as they are. Please argue with me when the constraints of civilty and a more pressing matter are not in the way. Or try that insult again. You have no pride in a homeland the way you speak those words mission or not. This land is my home and if you dare speak down on it again then I will have no hesitation to fight you when the opportunity comes. This place had a legacy that will never be remembered and families forced to forget their loved ones not even allowed to hold proper funerals under truthful manner." He hadn't snapped yet but, his tone was at that disdainful civil tone that meant his patience was limited right then.
"Don't speak down on something until you experiance it yourself Lucian. That is true wisdom, something you at this moment lack and instead took the pigheaded approach," Darian finished as he drifted bag and ran at their pace Orchid still running ahead but, he knew that the situation was better left untouched. "What you think was cowardice you clearly need a rewrite. Cowardice in battle was tooken care of already. These people died and while we have a mission, their deaths shouldn't be taken so lightly. They were innocents." Darian added after a few moments and then settled himself into a rhythm.
Orchid?
This is not my place to comment.
Why's that?
Because while I understand what you're going through I disagree with how you're taking it.
I see...
You'll learn you have several years down the road to go...
Orchid finally fell back running in front of Shea who he glanced at her over his shoulder and gave a feline roll of his eyes that said it all. Don't get in the discussion when both males seem to be prickly.

(After awhile of running. Wolf found the village area. Stoping, he looked around the aea. There was more fake plante life over the brunt ashes. Looking around the area, he hoped to find someone of opening place where some would go to and hind. But most of the area was covered in plante life so it was hard to tell. Drawing his sword from the left side of his belt with his right hand, he cut away some of the plantes.)
"Anyone alive here? I'm came here to take you all to a safe place. Anyone still alive?"
(He yelled his words, hoping that someone could hear it. Wolf could use his 5 of Diamond to burn away the plantes. But he would burn anyone that was still alive. He waited for the others in the village area as he kept trying to find someone that was alive. Sheathing his sword, Wolf sighed as he walked around the area. Who would be crazy enough to attack a village that was never armed to fight and why was the burned areas covered in plante life? There was some many things that he didn't get. Was someone from Arcane or D-13 testing something out and it happened to be targeted to this village? Or was there some kind of crazy man in this world that targeted this village. Well, what ever the case was, Wolf would make sure that person behind this would pay.)

As The Team talked and Wolf was in the village, which was at the moment evacuated to another village due to excessive animals attacks by the French Government (Probably Coerced from the Academy), a large castle could be seen off in the distance...standing tall as a eerie light emitted from the top of the Citadel. It was where the group was suppose to go...to seal the rupture and put this whole dark ordeal behind them...
OoC: Yea...sorry for short post, but just basically telling you to move on =P

Darian quickly caught up to them as she and Lucian ran after to find and meet up with Wolf so that they could move on with the mission and get this rupture closed before it stirred any more trouble. She didn't really look at him because Lucian was in the middle of talking with her and she didn't want him to think she was rude. She heard his congratulate her on the use of her star ruby and she smiled.
"Yes, it took some time but I have it down now." she said with a grin as she smiled at him.
She was in great shape. Her dancing for hours a day kept her legs fit and her endurance high. And she kept up with Lucian and Darian easily. She felt honored in some way when Lucian said that they did indeed make a good team. She agreed. She was ranged and support while he covered the close range. Together they worked better than most she had not really found a magical partner that she worked so well with. She enjoyed how well they meshed and Lucian was definatly a force to be reckoned with so to speak.
But he spoke crudely to Darian and while she agreed with some points they did not need to be fighting among themselves. She let him speak his peace however because though he was her 'partner' she didn't have any reason really to tell him to bite his lip. She knew what would happen if he didn't yet it was going to happen anyway. She rolled her eyes and just toned them out putting herself just slightly ahead of them. Yet, she knew that Lucian had hit a bad cord when he mentioned protecting her to Darain.
And then so it came. That cool tone that Darian had when he was beyond pissed and controlling himself. That tone that said one more thing coming out of Lucian's mouth and he would most likely get a gun in his face. But then when Darian began speaking she only got even more mad and she stopped running all together rubbing her temples with her index fingers she looked up at the both of them.
"Drop it both of you!" she said loudly her pale green eyes normally so full of love and happiness were now cold and pissed but mainly they turned on Darian and she looked right at him growling slightly.
"You Darian Dumonte! You are being foolish and you very well know it. How dare you take this as a personal attack. If you cannot handle the fight then go home so the rest of us can fight and heal this land so once again it can sustain life. I know that pride in your homeland is a big part of who you are, but damnit think of what your family, your grandfather no less, would say if you let those emotions get in the way of the job you signed up for." she said coldly looking right into his red eyes. "You cannot dwell on what has happend but look to what we need to do so that perhaps this will not happen in the future. Yet, look at you, you are allowing yourself to be blinded. Go home if you cannot pull yourself together damnit, just go!"
"I'll leave you two to your egos." she said rather coldly and turned to run.
She ran down past them and continued down the road. Leaving them to their squabbling she was beyond mad. Darian was being foolish and he knew it and it only made it worse because they needed to be a team to do this the best way and they were letting petty crap get in the way. She understood that this was France and she understood that making an entire village disappear was not the best thing to do. But it was done. Deal with one problem at a time. Running into the small city she spotted Wolf hopefully he was allright and not upset.
"Hey there, I'm Shea. If any of the villagers we find need healing send them to me, I can help." she said softly to him as she walked next to him searching the village. Off in the distance she could see the castle and her brows rose. "Guess that's the destination. You ready?" she asked Wolf.

Lucian continued to jog ahead as Darian started ranting. For the most part Lucian tuned him out, the boy was extremely too far wrapped up in what the Tracer's had done to the land. Apparently, from what he could gather, Darian was from this area. Lucian could understand his anger but still to let it blind him so and essentially rob him of his ability to fight was completely ridiculous and utterly inexcusable.
His hand twitched slightly as if it wanted to move to his runes on his own. The boy's tone was seriously beginning to get to him. Lucian eyed the gun from the corner of his eyes, not too much of a problem. Especially when Lucian was so close, a stone fist to the face would more than likely incapacitate him before he was able to get a shot off. Regardless his Knight's Armor spell would be a decent defensive against any sort of bullets. Lucian shook his head and winced a little as Shea began her rant.
The girl started going on and on. Lucian had to admit though, she was saying everything that he had wanted to say to Darian. He hated to admit it but he felt a twinge of pity for Darian, clearly the girl was close to him and obviously her words would have more impact and meaning to Darian than anything Lucian could say to him. Lucian sighed softly as Shea finished and sped up away from them.
"Well Dumonte...apparently it is true when they say hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn," he said with a slight chuckle, "How about we put aside our differences for now in order to complete our mission?" he offered, "I will keep my opinions of your attitude to myself if you agree to keep your apparent grudge against the Tracers in check for the time being. We wouldn't want Miss Donovan using the newfound powers of her Star Ruby against us would we?" he asked with a grin as he sped up as well, to catch up with Wolf and Shea, "There it is," he said as he jogged into the village beside Shea his hand insticntively reached into his pocket for the rupture closer, "Well looks like we should get going, we've already come this far," he said with a nod as he started down the path towards the Castle.

Darian heard Shea's words as Orchid immediately sped ahead not wanting to hear Shea's backlash since he knew Darian would be thinking about it. Darian looked away and looked down as Shea was hitting some major damaging points more importantly that look of anger and coldness from her. She hit his sore spots with precise and deadly wording as he looked away even more. Every single point Shea knew where to 'strike' so to speak and it cut for a moment. Shea was right Darian knew it deep down but, his pride wouldn't allow him to admit that Lucian had valid points instead it clearly said he was insulted and should make proper response to defend his honor. Darian didn't do it out of glee or spite it was just the way he was raised. To be rudely treated as the way Lucian did was a grave insult where he came from. Something that he would have to explain when his temper and mood were more controlled.
Darian was just being Darian there was no other way to edit him still Shea was hitting the sharpest and deepest points to get his attention. He looked down at the ground for a moment he knew that deep down Shea was right. Yet, a part of him wished she didn’t do it so harshly and brutally. He paused in his step when they caught up to the group and shifted slightly as he looked around and studied the others briefly but, he didn’t say anything in response to what Lucian said. Shea tearing at Darian like that was something that had him preoccupied because she almost never lost her temper. She was a sweet person who always seemed all laughs and no fuse and Darian knew he screwed up royally to provoke Shea’s temper. He had heard Lucian’s comment but, right now he was silent his mind on other things at the moment. Who wouldn’t be thinking when you got hacked at by the girl you love.
This didn’t become a personal attack until Lucian made it seem one. His assumptions are what bother me he assumes one thing when it clearly is something else but, he doesn’t make sure to check otherwise. While I agree with the Tracers job in principle I am simply…disgusted with the method. Then he hits personal notes without concern and thinks I would not respond to what he said.
Darian looked around for a moment but, spotted the castle and he looked away at it. Such a famous castle having to fall to such a cursed thing as the rupture that was afflicting it and not giving any relent. History under attack by a flux of chaos in the stream of magic that was always used in the way of life of mages. Darian turned his attention to the castle again he wouldn’t say anything but, Shea would know that he was cut by the words even if it did settle his grip on things. He looked away not saying a word as Orchid padded to him and Darian carefully rubbed the cat’s ears his feline eyes only looked at Lucian for a brief moment. After making a brief decision Orchid mentally prodded Lucian and then decided to go ahead and explain for Darian. When Darian was like this he wouldn’t say anything for a bit until he settled down. His ability to fight wouldn’t be affected but, he simply padded over and sat on his haunches and glanced at Lucian again.
I believe you both misunderstand each other. Darian doesn’t have a grudge with the Tracers he is a very proud person and of noble birth. If he doesn’t agree with something he was trained to state it rather then keep it bottled. The personal notes of saying he has a grudge where he does not and stating him as being incapable of fighting. Those are grave insults by the way Darian was raised. I am not speaking on his behalf I am merely giving you insight so you can perhaps more ‘diplomatically’ discuss with Darian.
That said and done Orchid padded ahead as Darian was already ahead of the group studying the terrain. The Raven in his hand loaded and ready to fire if he needed to. He had put distance between himself and the others well more of distance between himself and Shea so he could think without sounding like a sap. He knew what she said was true but, he was still kind of hurt by the tone and more importantly the words she chose to use on him. That was a low blow coming from her even if it was the quickest way to get his attention. He checked the ground for a moment as Orchid scouted around to make sure the group and Darian didn’t get ambushed.
I'm just making excuses...

(Wolf used his left claw to remove some of the plante life from the ground and saw something weird. In the ashes, it looked like prints, foot prints. Most likely some people from the village. Looking around, he heard someone coming up. Turning around, it was the girl that was with the group from the start of the mission. Atleast she wasn't killed and it meant that the others will be coming soon. He heard her name was Shea so it would have been rude if he didn't tell her his name.)
Names Wolf. As for the be people in the village, seems like they were moved away from the area. So it's safe to say that they their safe.
(He looked over and saw the castle. He saw it on the way to the village and it was time to get going. But then the other two made it to the village. Seeing as having four is better than two, it was a good thing that the others came. While, one was just hanging back. Wolf turned around looking at were the one was hidden. It was somewhat good. But then he then looked at the castle once more and smiled.)
Alright.
(Wolf quickly ran ahead of group once more. Meaning at that now Wolf is covering the front lines. As Wolf and the others made thier way to the castle, he was laughing a bit as it reminded him of some cheap horror movie.)

Lucian only regarded Orchid with a cool expression on his face. He sighed annoyedly, he was done with Dumonte, his attitude, and the whole argument. He was ready to move on and he really did not need some telepathic house cat telling him what he should do. The way Lucian saw it, Darian was just simply unable to put his personal emotions aside for the time being and focuse soley on the mission. Lucian had a feeling that his would not be the last time he and Darian would butt heads. For now, however, Lucian would put all of that in the background. They had mission at hand, a mission that they were growing close to completing.
He jogged ahead a little, catching up to Wolf and Shea. Lucian grinned as he jogged up beside Shea, "Now who's leaving their partner behind?" he asked with a soft, good-natured laugh. Lucian gazed at the castle from time to time, as they continued up the path, "Almost there..." he said softly as his hand reached into his pocket yet again to feel for the rupture closer, which was still there.

Across the group there was a large castle, it's doors open wide as it seemingly awaited for someone to enter it's dark grasp. Sounds of roars and howls could be heard, but nothing could be seen out of the encompassing darkness that was this door way......
"Enter if you wish to die" a ragged voice called out from the sky, as if messing around with the party.

Lucian gazed at the castle with interest. It was certainly foreboding looking and Lucian assumed that was the point. Whoever or whatever was in that castle did not want them coming in. What was easier to keep them out then making the castle look ominous. It certainly did seem like the last place any normal person would want to go. What whatever was in there had not anticipated though was that they were from Academy and therefore were far from normal.
Lucian chuckled gently at the raspy voice, and glanced back quickly at his teammates as he took a step towards the doors of the castle, "I do not know about you all but I certainly cannot turn down an invitation like that," he said with a grin as he activated his Knight's Armor spell as a precaution and then jogged into the castle. He had no idea what awaited him but they were too close to the end to start hesitating now.

(Wolf stopped as he and the others was close and near the door way of the large castle that was before them. There was a small shake on his left arm as it felt soming chilling waiting for them inside. Whatever burned the village, covered it with fake plante life, and summoned element wolves is going to be waiting inside. The person that came up with this must have something big plan to attack a unarmed village of people and so on.
But then Wolf and the others heard a voice from the dark door way. Wolf was never scared to die at any point of his life. This was just something that was in the way from his real goal.)
What waits for me is worse than any death.
(With a cool mind, Wolf dashed forword into the darkness of the unknown. Not knowing what might happen once they enter.)

They had reached the castle and it looked.. well scary. But most castles did unless you were one of those fanatics that just loved old stone buildings that were most likely filled with cobwebs, spiders, and ghosts. Yet, though Shea was no fanatic she found herself oddly untouched and unmoved by the large glowing castle in front of her.
She watched as Lucian and then Wolf ran in. Perhaps she was unmoved because she was so pissed at Darian. Or perhaps it was not as ominous as one might think. But she was ready to get this crazed mission over with so she could go home.
"Let's finish this." was all she said as she left Darian behind and ran into the castle after the others.
She was ready to face what lay within. Ready to close the fisure and ready to finish this mission. Right now, she was tired and pissed and all she wanted in the world was to go home.

Abomination...
Just keep your cool.
Whatever.
Darian ran in ahead not commenting himself since his comments were not needed as he tightened the grip on his weapons. Whatever was out there needed to seriously pay for what happened out here and Darian intended to make the creatures here pay in spades. He checked himself for a moment realizing his anger was about to get the better of him and sighed mentally for a moment. Orchid ran alongside Shea to better protect her as Darian used his own speed to run ahead of Shea and Lucian since he was straight-out faster being a natural sprinter. He rushed ahead but, stayed at pace with Wolf as he kept his guns cocked and ready to dish some damage.

Suddenly, as if on cue, two Beast men popped out of the shadows. They brandished their weapons, an Axe on one and a spear on the other, as the group entered the dark castle. They howled in anger, as the appeared to be half man and half Bull. Anyways, the one with the Axe charged like, well, a bull toward Darian, it's weapon up and ready to cleave a huge whole on the Gunmage as the one with the spear rushed, spear point first, toward Shea....howling like a mad man. Indeed, these Beast men seemed to be more odd then ever....Howling Bulls? Who ever heard of that. Whatever though, magic is a weird thing, so there are bound to be a few kooky things....

Darian saw the bullmen charging towards them one to him and the other towards Shea. He gave a small little growl almost but, it was only in his mind as he snapped out his Glock. He didn't even have any qualms about giving the thing some hell. The sound of his Forest Raven was heard as he pulled the trigger six times. Sending six high-calibur shots at the beast his accuracy hopefully allowing him to level it at the chest.
He holstered his Raven even as he opened up with the Glock sending it on full-automatic fire and holding down the street wanting to cut the ax-wielder down even as he did however, he quickly made a roll as he fired to get out of the way of the creature's charge and dodge that impending attack. He had no qualms shooting the thing in the legs and back keeping care to focus on the ax-user so he wouldn't hit anyone else.
ORCHID!
ON IT!
Orchid used his pussyfoot manuever ability to blur in speed and used the momentum for his next attack. His claws flared with flames as Orchid activated his elemental strike attack and went to slam into the creature's side with his weight to give the creature something else to think about rather then attacking Shea. Hopefully the momentum and his weight would allow him to slam the creature into a wall if he hit.
