(This quest will be open to three people, besides Varys, who are to post in with their entrances later on. First, this post, then Varys will reply, and then, I will reply once more, leaving the floor open for the first three who want to undertake the quest...)
"That's the one?"
"Yes, yes, the Dementia Mage... the only known of his kind..."
"Good, good, come, let's do what we can... this could prove very fruitful to our research..."
As Varys Fierasche slept soundly one night, the door creaked open, and the two hushed voices could be heard whispering as quietly as possible to each other. The two forms, one male, one female, both looking fairly young, quickly snuck into the room, closing the door behind them. Standing over the sleeping Academy student, one whispered again.
"He's completely asleep... it looks like he won't be waking up anytime soon... go ahead, Roger, begin the research..."
Roger nodded, and closed his eyes, his telepathic powers opening as he delved into the mind of Varys. The abilities of this particular student had been no secret to the rest of the Academy. Some hailed him as a 'freak show' while others considered him a perfect opportunity for study. He was unique, this Varys, and as such, the origin and extent of his abilities where highly wondered by many, from Arcane's highest minds, to a couple of over-achieving, almost-graduated students who were about to find themselves much over their heads.
"I... can't dig any deeper than the surface, Marie... go ahead and inject him..."
"Are... are you sure? But he haven't tested the-"
"If it keeps up like this, he'll awake, we can't have that! Inject him!"
Marie pulled a syringe from her coat, and tweaking the needle, stuck it up against Varys's forehead. Depressing the plunger coated Varys's head in a strange dull green glow, before the glow seemed to seep into Varys's mind as he entered an even deeper sleep, his mind opening wide for Roger the telepath to probe into.
It wasn't long, however, before Roger started shaking visibly, as if frightend. "R-Roger...?" Marie asked hesitantly, but the student made no reply. His mouth opened, and his breathing was ragged, audible, and completely horrified. The shaking quickly grew in intensity, until Roger was literally convulsing on his feet, his mind seemingly unable to take the link with whatever was contained within Varys's.
Varys, meanwhile, suddenly began to change...
(Varys posts first, then the quest will be fully explained.)

Varys' body tossed violently. Flinging itself upwards and finally stopping slightly at a sitting position. The ceasing of action didn't stop the transformation of the body however. There were highly audible sounds as his skin turned black and his bones shredded and remended. Muscles bulged and bursted only to slowly reweave the fibers of their beings. Roger was numb to the experience unfolding before him. He had already caught a glimpse of this monstrosity. He had flung himself full force into Varys' nightmares, where he found himself being torn apart by more horrid things than what was unfolding before them. Marie stared on, frozen in terror with her mouth agape. What was it that was happening before her?! More importantly what had the pair just unleashed upon the school. It wasn't long before Varys let out a scream of agony that reverberated through the dormitories in his transformation. All his changes were agonizing, but for one to be initiated while he was asleep and without controll, it felt as if his very mind was being torn out of his own skull. Bones wretched themselves forth from fingers and became strong and vicious claws. Pure white eyes opened and saw the world for the first time. The eyes fell upon the crazed Roger and the terrorfied Marie for the first time and the last. There was a sickening crunch followed by the sound of a liquid striking the hardwood heavily. Then a tearing that could only be possibly related to leather, with more of the liquid pouring unto the floor. There would hardly be any bodies left behind, they would be too crushed and rended to truely be called corpses. The eight and a half foot tall beast burst through the wall, the only things left of it's awakeners, a pair of skulls, attached hastily and primally to it's waste by a torn sheet. White eyes around the courtyard while it stood on the rubble, looking for more victims that would inevitably respond to the immense clatter. Todesknochen was ready...

"Now did they really think... I'm ashamed of some of the idiocy we breed in these halls."
Azrael's calm, raspy voice broke the silence of the security room as he stood before the monitors, watching the scene unfold. This... this beast that had once been the Dementia Mage had completely massacred those two before making his own exit into the courtyard behind the dormitories. Azrael Thanatos simply shook his head.
"No sense in sending my own men out there, he'll murder them. This only leaves on option..."
Extending his long-fingered hand out, palm first, the nearest Watcher handed him the globe that acted as the school's intercom system. Speaking into it would broadcast the signal clearly over the entire complex.
"Students... there's a giant, hulking beast on the loose in the courtyard. He's quite large, quite dangerous, and also a student at this Academy. He must be subdued and brought back to complacency, but don't go too far. If he dies, believe me... you will be next. Do take care now."
He handed the globe back and shook his head, muttering softly to himself as he strode back towards his office.
"I wonder if the students are crafty enough to make this work..."
QUEST: Detain, subdue, or otherwise take care of Varys, returning him back to his normal form, but do NOT kill him!

As the loud boom was heard to those who were close enough and the beast went into out of the building there was one more figure standing outside a little further away near the edge of the floating island stood a dark figure. Its dark hair fell on its face as its dark eyes looked down upon the clouds that were passing beneath it. A wind blew fluttering its dark brown cloak slightly. A cane that the figure always had with him was now positioned in front of him with one end touching the ground and the other held by gloved hands of the figure positioned one on another on the metal bubble of the cane. A man by the name of Gabriel was enjoying his peace that came very rarely around here. With the constant magic and chaos one had a rare moment for peaceful thoughts and just relaxing. But as the destruction reached his ears Gabriel’s face behind the shadows that was cast by his hair convulsed slightly as if he was fighting something inside his mind. Actually it was almost true. Once his moment of peace was disturbed a very rare for him emotion kicked in. Gabriel was angry. And whenever that happens, usually someone ends up dead. More chaos and a loud voice as if it came from the loudspeakers reached his ears. So it seemed that he could not kill. What a damn shame but no matter, maybe some other time.
A couple of moments later the inner battle was finished and Gabriel’s face returned to its normal calm self. With a simple and not very fast move he raised his right hand and moved streaks of his hair away from his face before looking up. As he started to move his hand back into previous position He stopped for a second and looked at it positioned in front of his face. That moment a little grey aura flashed around it but as fast as it appeared it was gone and Gabriel’s hand moved back on top of his cane. Then without any moment of hesitation Gabriel turned around slowly. His right hand still holding the cane but now it held it near the middle so it would not touch the ground. And while his left hand hung loosely by his side Gabriel looked at the beast with his eyes analyzing it. It looked rather fearsome. Gabriel understood that he could not fight it physically. He would get torn apart. No he will be forced to use his abilities. And it seemed that it was even in question if he alone could stand a chance against it. Yet his face remained calm as he thought about that. There was no point in worrying after all. It probably seen him already and though he could still run he would not. No… This thing ruined his moment of peace. It will not die now though because those were the orders. But God will be his witness Gabriel will make sure it will wish that it was dead.
With a simple slow pace Gabriel started to move away from the edge and towards the beast. He did not seem to be hostile but the impression was always wrong when you talk about Gabriel. His simple movement allowed him to analyze the beast further as his dark eyes looked at every single detail of it. A couple of steps later Gabriel spoke his voice even being calm and a little quiet was probably still heard to that thing. “It seems that you are the one who ruined this wonderful night for me…” He said while stopping and slowly looking at white eyes of the beast. If one would look carefully he would see that a little grey aura returned but now was on his both hands in a form of a little blowing smoke that was constantly changing and rising up slightly before fading away. That was Gabriel energy being gathered in order to perform one of his tricks. And it was a rather large amount, so whatever trick it was, it was going to be hell to be on the wrong end of it. “Lets see are you worth not killing for it…” He finished his voice remaining calm as ever but the ill intentions and wish to harm now could be felt by everyone around.

1: Gabriel. 2: Angra Mainyu. 3: _________
Sleeping. Sleeping soundly in his bed. Sleeping with a lust deep inside him. His eyes shooting open as he felt the enormous surge pass through the academy. His right arm in spasms already now. Someone or something had just been in tremendous pain. The thrill was gone already; it hadn't lasted long enough for him. He looked around the darkened room, wondering just where he was for a moment before he shrugged and got out of bed. The pain surge had flicked his mind on and it would be near impossible for him to sleep without be knocked out. He took some lazy steps over to the wardrobe and started getting dressed. Wondering what he should do for an entire night now. His thoughts reached an angel for a second before the loudspeakers broke through his line of thoughts. He raised his eyebrow, had the security that was there to protect the students, just called for the students aide? Lazy people.
"Meh, got something to do now at least..."
He noticed that he had dressed himself during the message brought to the school. Or to those who would be awakened by it, Angra would not have if it hadn't been for the surge of pain beforehand. He left the room and walked down the dark and deserted hallway. He had a head start to getting out there first and claiming the power of the troublemakers pain. He had forgotten one part of his normal attire, and that was the obligatory sunglass. His thoughts crossed the student who soon would find himself, or herself, the attention of all wake students that wished to be a hero, or heroine. Angra’s sight had adjusted to the darkness already and looked out through the door at the quite large, quite dangerous, hulking beast. Damn would it be a waste if this one was killed and an even greater waste if it were to be subdued and returned to being a normal student again. He looked around and had his mind work double time. He smiled and went through the door and saw the other student wrap up some sort of speech. He saw a wish to kill in the man, almost as if he was there to murder the gruesome black beast, but the last of his words told Angra otherwise, this one was here to abide by the rules of the loudspeakers or where that sound had come from. He noticed the huge amount of energy be formed around him and a simple decision had him decide not to intervene just yet, he could always kill the other student in case it called the beast. Opening his mouth, he spoke out with a hard and unemotional voice.
“Take your shot, cane wielder…”
There was a logical thought behind this, they would stand a better chance if they were two, not that it would matter much against this beast. He walked up and stood some feet back and some feet to the right of the cane wielder. Waiting for him to wrap up his spell and show his worth to the demonic thinking Angra who could barely hold himself back from using his Pain's Touch on the student in front of him. The surge of pain that had awakened him had only been an appetizer. Now he wanted the main dish. Be it either the human student or the beast student for Angra it would matter little, pain was pain.

1: Gabriel. 2: Angra Mainyu. 3: Setsuna.
A silent and peaceful night had enticed Setsuna to sit high atop the school, allowing the cold breeze to throw his restrained ponytail about carelessly. The blade of 80 days resonated warmly in his grip, as it sensed the imminent release of souls. Setsuna's gaze shot up as an incredible horror flew through his thoughts. Something terrible was about to be unleashed... Something that not even in his wildest nightmares would he conquer, even a daemon such as he. "He comes... The terror reborn into a new mortal shell..." Setsuna stood and gripped tight his weapon, his eyes casting to the grounds upon which the beast known as Todesknochen had burst. "Dementia has a new user... That art was meant to die with that old fool..." He said, gritting his teeth. Setsuna saw the other two students race out to greet the beast in combat, as an announcement called for students to subdue the man, breaking his form and eliminating the threat. "These students cannot kill their peer... But I cannot kill that beast... For as long as the human lives... The art will survive..." He clenched his fist, hating the laws he was bound by, now more than ever.
"Prove your strength Todesknochen... I will subdue you... But not without making you feel pain like no mortal could stand..." He declared as he drew the blade of 80 days from it's scabbard. Taking a run up, he leapt from his perch atop the school, plummeting towards the beast. He spun the blade in his hand, and drove it downwards in an attempt to pierce the beast's back. Even that creature would feel the sword grasping at it's soul, and so he hoped to drive the man from the beast by endangering the spirit he embodied. "Return to your shell Todesknochen!" He shouted at the black behemoth, driving the tip of his black katana towards the back of it's shoulder.

The first few heroes began arriving, they had hardly moved into his sight before Todesknochen moved forward, lashing at the first few students. They were launched and rended, causing all other students, excluding the three to flee. The beast roared in an almost demonic manner, angered his toys were fleeing. The white eyes darted looking for more and found quickly the man emenating smoke.
Todesknochen did not know what the smoke was for, it didn't even put the thought into what it might be for. All it thought was to rend, to dig its claws into the man before flinging him violently away. The giant left claws were flying towards Gabriel as Setsuna drove his blade deep into the beasts right shoulder.
There was a roar of pain as the beast followed through with the left claw swinging it all the way around, with or without striking Gabriel, and attempting to crush Setsuna against the shoulder. The beast didn't get a thought to the fact that he might drive the blade in further.
The soul draining power of blade was beginning to have it's effect, but it wasn't the first most thought in Todesknochen's mind. Not yet in the least and should he get the man off his back he may well forget the blade had that power.

Little time passed someone else joined Gabriel in this fight against the beast. A dark not very friendly or emotionless person stood to his right telling him to take his shot. It seemed that whoever it was he was here to have some fun too so figuring that he had no problems with sharing Gabriel did not even move a muscle to acknowledge his presence or reply. He just stood there looking at the beast that was now coming towards him. Inside his mind Gabriel silently counted the distance between him and the beast. He needed for it to be close enough so that mana that he would use would be as low as possible in case of a failure. But then there was an unexpected turn of events. Someone incompetent enough to actually decide to take the beast all by himself jumped down from the roof and pierced the shoulder of the beast. It was a rather brave move. But at the same time it was a very stupid one. He just made one attack that Gabriel was preparing fore completely useless. Now he could not use transmutation in order to make spikes shoot from the ground and injure the creature. Now that other fool could get hurt in the process or even die. That was not acceptable. He might be a fool but Gabriel respected life and his ability to take it away. But shaking these thoughts off Gabriel thought about how he could help that guy. He will settle this with him later.
“I will confuse it long enough for you to do something about it. Make sure you use the time I will give you well.” He said silently looking at the beast with calm face and as it moved towards him Gabriel finished preparing his move. It will be extremely hard to pull off because most illusions required you knowing what you want. But there was still logic implied and the more off from it the illusion was the harder it was to pull it off. It would be rather simple for him to make lighting now since the sky was clouded, but if he would try to pull it off in the middle of the day with a clear sky and the sun it would cost him three times more mana. But as the oversized claw was about to strike him Gabriel jumped back with his great speed but as he did he threw his cane forward into the stomach of the beast. And as he did his thumb against other hand pressed against the middle finger and after a second as he flew back a simple click was heard.
One would see that the little fog that surrounded his palms has suddenly intensified and then disappeared and it seemed that nothing else happened. Well at least it will be seem that way for tow men. The beast and Gabriel however will see something different. The cane that was in mid air will suddenly shatter into million peaces and those peaces will turn into a bunch of sharp arrows that would be flying into the general direction of the best. The beast of course will see all that. He will see them, hear them and even feel each and every one of them once they land. Not just the pressure that would be delivered but also the pain as if he would be hit by real arrows. If he would be hit in the head the pain of course will be there but none of his organs will be damaged. His skin won’t even be pierced. However that was not what the beast is going to see. If Gabriel succeeds beast will see his blood everywhere mixed with dirt and his own pain will probably cloud his mind. If any of the other two would get in the way of the arrows they would feel none of this, since this was not a mass illusion that affected everyone. It was just a simple trick focused on one being. So only thing they should see was Gabriel cane hitting the beast and bouncing off harmlessly while Gabriel would flip backwards one hand touching the ground for better control over his body and would land simply on his slightly bent feet.

~Sounds promising, stranger…~ That was Angra’s thoughts as he heard the other student that was attacking.
Interesting turn of events. Impressive on top of that. Army material. Angra stepped back as the massive arm of the beast came flying for Gabriel, he was out of reach, but it never harmed to be on the safe side. Those claws looked better on a distance rather than up close. Just a shame that he had to get up close for his powers to work. That was when he felt the thrill rush through him, his eyes widened and he felt oh so much more powerful than only moments before. The beast was in pain. Looking sky ward for a second Angra showed a toothy smile. The beast could just await him now, the pain it was in now was nothing compared to what Angra would put it in. He stepped forward, hearing the voice of the one he had spoken to before, and noted this fact as he moved in. He could just exploit the other one's well willingly to lend him his aid. He saw the cane, and went around the left of the beast, the beast's left that was. Knowing that the cane wouldn't distract the beast much, Angra could easily understand that some sort of sorcery was included. Or else Angra would reconsider something in this fight. Already now he could see this was a very strong creature and it could survive a lot of pain, but if anyone was going to deliver huge amounts of pain over a short time, it was Angra.
For now, everything seemed in order for Angra as he was running still, coming on the beast’s left side, where it was completely unprotected because of it’s left arm going for the stranger who had done something to his shoulder from the look of it. His left hand moving up to touch the upper left arm of the beast with the palm of his hand, a simple touch, that would be enough to make any full grown man scream in an agonizing pain. Of course Angra had had his Pain’s Touch activated. His hand continued to press against the arm of the beast partly to fuel his powers and partly to daze the arm in an intense pain that would linger for some time. Angra’s left leading foot stopped completely and swung his right side of body around. His right foot finding a place of balance only a mere blink of an eye before his right fist would come propelling. With an extreme force. Directly into the left kidney, or the skin above it, but unless the beast was made of iron. Which he hoped it wasn’t. Then the kidney would sustain some serious damage. If it had any kidney’s to begin with. If the strike would follow through with no incidents. Then Angra would swing his left leg around in a low arc so he would have turned around and was facing the back of the beast instead of the front, and using his momentum to get away from it again. His left arm sliding up the arm of it, continuing to empower Angra and bring pain upon the beast’s left arm and shoulder. Angra was wondering if he would see the mysterious stranger now, or if he had already moved on to attack the feral beast from a different angle. Or if he would see it as some bloodied thing against the beast’s shoulder in case Angra’s Pain’s Touch hadn’t stopped the arm.

As Todesknochen's hand swung around, Setsuna twisted his sword sharply to face horizontally, in line with the monsters shoulders, and ran along it's back, cutting along the way. The dark steel would cut deep the creatures flesh, separating muscles like a knife separates a piece of meat. And at the same time, the beast would feel that same blade slicing at it's essence, threatening to tear the very life from it, even from such a wound. Of course, the sword could not absorb a soul until the host had been killed, but such was a secret he kept to himself. Reaching the same point on Todesknochen's opposite shoulder, Setsuna twisted the blade into a vertical position again, and in one lightning quick movement, brought the weapon up, cutting across the beast's shoulder before freeing itself, allowing Setsuna to jam his feet against it's back to launch himself from his perch on the creature, satisfied with the damage he had caused.
Upon landing nearby, he noticed the tactics of the other two and scoffed. "Throw everything you've got at it! Don't fear killing it because you won't!" Setsuna shouted at the other two, not too proud to admit that he wouldn't be able to bring Todesknochen down effectively by himself. "Anyone still touching Todesknochen is about to get a shock!" He warned. "Get ready to use every last second effectively!" He announced as stood side on and extended his palm, discharging a large bolt of lightning from his palm that headed straight for the beast at an amazing speed. If it connected, he intended to trap it by causing it's muscles to seize up as he held the constant blast of voltage, which would place a heavy drain on his mana, allowing him to hold it only for a few seconds. But hopefully a few seconds that would be made to count.

Todesknochen Growled angerly at the man that danced away just beyond his reach. He was going to go after him untill the sharp pain in his shoulder turned and began racing along it to the other side. What was happening?! In the dim state of his mind Todesknochen remembered there had been something that pierced his shoulder. Now it appeared it was moving to the other side.
That was about the time the hail of arrows slammed into him. They forced him to stumble slightly under the blow. The damage wasn't huge to him, he had thick muscles for the arrows to go through, but the pain was rather impressive. It was akin to being stabbed rather deeply by a good thousand needles. The beast hardly knew what to go after first. But the sharp pain in his shoulder was continuing, while the arrows would dull from lack of movement. The beast had to face whatever was behind him and stabbing him.
The left arm was brought down quickly after missing the foe on it's back and the right now raised as Todesknochen began turning to his left. Both movements were wide and sweeping as he turned. He hadn't noticed Angra, who's hand was just beginning to touch the beast. Todesknochen left arm twitched fasted down and away due to the short piece of pain, while the right arm tried again to reach over the left shoulder and swat the immense pain. It was all the beast could do as it was being over whelmed. There were too many foes that were doing too much damage to it.
Reguardless of it's well to destroy it was obvious that Todesknochen was losing. It couldn't and wouldn't be able to last this onslaught for much longer. Even if at the moment it still somewhow stood. It became apparant that it would keep trying to fight till it fell, the question was would it fall into unconciousness or death.

This was over. Gabriel’s face remained exactly the same as before when this thought crossed his mind. The beast had the advantage in strength, but in all the other ways the three of them were far more powerful. The only problem was that the two other guys knew that too. Gabriel felt how they started to get too carried away. The guy that he decided to act with was not doing it yet but Gabriel knew that because his attack failed he will pull out heavy artillery just to score this time. For some weird reason he thought that if he did then there will be one hell to pay. But the other one was now visibly going way off. He already started to charge some rather powerful and dangerous looking attack. In this situation this was not acceptable. He himself was rather tempted to pull out a couple of deadly tricks from his sleeve especially when he was encouraged. But the part of his mind that controlled his logic told him that if he did he would directly go against the orders that he was given. And he never went against them. He just had a nasty habit in going around them or bending them to his liking. Plus it would be pretty bad if he was expelled for he came here to get more powerful and leaving now would mean that his goal was not completed. So naturally he had to end this quick. He won’t be able to do it on his own because he will have no power left after his next move but if the other two would listen to him they will end this with one more strike.
For a second Gabriel closed his eyes and his gloved palms began to glow again, this time far brighter then before. Most of his mana was being forced to activate one more attack. He stood up straight and extended his right hand to his right palm hanging loosely from his wrist. The grey smoke disappeared from his left hand but it grew stronger and stronger. “Let’s end this with one more strike. I will immobilize it. You can use anything to knock it out. But don’t kill it.” His calm voice sounded thought the area. He said all that he needed to and Gabriel could only hope that they will listen. Then he opened his eyes and all the power that he has been gathering formed one last attack tonight. ‘The opening of the third eye…’ He thought and with all that power his glove on the right hand was blown apart by the forming attack. At that moment he tensed his palm and one could see that in his palm opened a red eye and began to move around taking in its surroundings. ‘…Deception’ He finished his thought and the random blow suddenly stopped forming one steady little glowing mist around his palm. With that Gabriel moved forward leaving a little grey line behind his right palm as he moved. With all his speed that he could muster he went forward. Since the beast was now turning around Gabriel aimed for his back where he hoped there was the least possibility of getting a hit from the beast.
When he would get close enough Gabriel would simply extend his right hand and touch the beast. With that the trick should activate making any sort of movement impossible for Varys. When he would touch it the eye on his palm would close itself and reopen on the spot where the beast will be touched and then after a second it will disappear. That would inform Gabriel that the spell was finished and Gabriel will move back this time covered by darkness for his palm would not be glowing. After a couple of calm steps where he would know that he is in safe distance Gabriel would turn around and enjoy the magic show that the other two men would put up trying to knock the beast out. He just hoped that they wont go over the top with what they will do.

~Fool.~
Angra's thoughts came as he noticed what the mystic man had done. Now it seemed that the beast was going for the other side, where Angra was located, it was time to get out of there before he would be hammered away. He felt his hand touch the arm of the beast and soon felt the arm go away from his blissfully touch. He felt a shiver start going through his body as the pain swept through the other beast. It was incredible how much pain it was feeling and yet was still being able to move around and strike at the things that might only appear like small angry bees against it's tough hide. His body movement was strange, despite instinct telling him to get away. Then his mind and body wished to inflict more harm upon it. The danger of his mind’s dark desires. His right hand continued it’s assault, too late to change what was going on with it, and it would crash into the gut area of the beast as neither of it’s arms were in that area, his right fist had been launched. The beast’s left arm went down and away from his left hand’s touch, as it’s body turned Angra’s right hand would find its guts instead. Angra’s head had tilted to his right. To avoid being noted as one of the people on the casualties list.
His hand opened right away after the strike and the palm of the hand was placed on the belly of the beast, and not a moment was wasted before Pain’s Touch was activated upon the beast. Just a goodbye note, as he pushed away as he jumped back away before he the left arm would continue its swing and take Angra along with it. He would land on his right leg and try and get a grasp of what was going on now with the two others. They were trying to work together, or order the two others around to do something. Angra hadn’t bothered to do that until now, the thought of inflicting pain had been too overwhelming. As of now, the euphoria was at it’s peak and had been there for some time.
“Alright, Cane-Wielder, you better make this shot worth something. Blade-Wielder…!” He had noticed the blade, despite the large figure of the beast. “…Try and get it’s attention fixed upon you only.” Angra stepped forth, just outside the reach of the massive length arms of the beast. Waiting for the Cane-Wielder to follow through with his promises before he would act. His words came quickly after when the Cane-Wielder had spoken.

The high voltage strike from the balde wielding man arced and struck the beast with a great deal of force. The huge muscles straining and contracting. It was similiar to being hit with a taser it would seem, albeit a huge taser. The beast let out a weakening roar of pain and hatred but it was already apparant that he was beginning to have trouble with continuing the fight.
The cane wielding man chose his time appropriately, just as the lightning was beginning to dissapate and Todesknochen was attempting to move his now cramped and convulsing muscles, he moved in and cast his spell. Todesknochen was already having a hard time moving and now he was restricted in doing so. The beast was unable to move further.
Todesknochen had more problems than simple pain from the third man at this point. He was knocked away in the aftermath of all this to be sure, but now all that was left was an angry statue. The beast would be straining the paralyzation spell by trying to force itself to move but as long as it held it seemed the men had done their job. The question might be at this point.
How do they get the man in the beast back?

Setsuna’s blast landed square on, causing Todesknochen to seize up and convulse as black lightning surged all throughout its body, arcing across the bulky muscles and throwing it’s discharges about wildly. Setsuna held it for a few precious seconds, while the cane wielder generated a complex spell to imprison their target more fully. In amidst the confusion, the bare handed fighter had leapt away, and now he called something out, presumably attempting some final attack in attempt to knock Todesknochen unconscious. But Setsuna knew better. He knew exactly what would subdue it.
“It’s over” Setsuna said in a very matter-of-fact tone. Slowly he approached the beast, using it’s immobilization to his advantage. He took his right hand and placed it on the side of Todesknochen, pulling his left hand back, and then finally driving the black blade deep into the creature’s leg, narrowly avoiding its bone. “You can feel it Todesknochen… You can feel your soul being grasped by the blade of 80 days… And now you have a choice… Revert now to the man who wields you… Or become absorbed by my sword, and become just another soul, adding to my power… The choice is yours, for I am content with either outcome” He twisted the blade a little to emphasize his point to the monster. Todesknochen was not the smartest of beasts, but even it would know the consequences of being devoured by the blade of 80 days, especially when feeling it grasping painfully at its soul.
