Reposts have been coming from 20 diffrent villages all saying two things over and over again. One being that when a person leaves the village and come back. They are changed. As if their own souls was pulled out. The other being that they never saw the person again. All of the villages are linked to one place. A unknown tower that was made. What's in it is unknown. All that is known is the name. That being the Tower of Trails. Anyone that even got into the woods near the down was never seen again. Some say there is 7 trails to go in order to reach the top. But no one was able to past the first trail.
A unkown being hearing about this had to know what was behind this. Summoning five letters in front of him, he sent them out to the fight people for the job. With the letter, it tells them what has been going own and where to go for this mission.

A letter, simple as it was was brought to Sho, he never saw the messanger of the letter, but under his dorm room did a letter appear as he walked in it for the very first time. At first the red head boy figured it was just some simple welcome note or something, or some random drop off, but no, this was actually a mission note, and his name was on it, so he was sure it wasn't random. Maybe this was the only way to contact him being he was new to this place.
His blue eyes read over what was going on as he swollowed hard, was he the right choice for this? Who chose these things anyways? Oi, he heard these things happened students being givin' missions. He didn't know it would be happening to him so soon though. Maybe it was a good thing an actual field test of his abilities in the armor. This was perfect in his mind, it also made him curiouse about this tower, as well, hsi mind was so afraid to even step out of his door right now. It would take some convincing himself as he unbuttoned the black top to his traditional japanese school cloths. Revieling a white shirt underneith.
so he would head out to where he was told and from what he remembered being told it was rare or even never happened for a student to be sent alone, so once he arrived to the place the letter told him to go he would wait for whatever kind of back up he had, as jumpy as he would be, and scarred out of his mind, it didn't really matter, he seemed oddly psyched about this.

It is mid-morning, and Torm is just returning to his bedroom from a post-workout shower. Today, he had chosen to add an additional 10 pounds to each of his arm and leg weights that he wears at all times, so it had been a slightly more grueling session than usual.
The room is just as he had left it, but with one exception. There is a letter on the floor; clearly having been slid under his door while he had been occupied. Torm reaches down to pick it up, but instead finds himself cursing as he overshoots and instead punches a hole in the floor. This sort of thing always happens when not wearing the training weights...
A little more gently now, Torm picks up the letter and reads. Tower of Trials? Or is it trails? Torm is not sure; the handwriting is unclear. What is clear, though, is that it's a mission, and that there's no time to lose. He sets about preparing for a perilous journey.
About a half hour later, Torm bustles out of his room. His destinations: the workshop in town for a quick stop, and then the appointed meeting place for the mission. Still stuffing a third egg-sausage sandwich and some fruit down as he walks, Torm swings the door shut and strides off on his way, with ladder in hand and pockets full of everything necessary.

Jyo was reading a book on some of the theories of how light magic was used when he heard the knock at his door. Wonder who that could be. I don't normally have visitors at this time. He thought walking over and opening the door. He found nobody there. But a letter was on the ground.
The tower of trail. Interesting. He thought as he read the letter. Jyo took a few minutes to think about it. He then headed to Zaire's Dorm and left her a note telling her he had been assinged to a mission on short notice and he would see her when he was done. He then headed to the metting place wondering if he would be alone or if there would be others with him.

Sho Tetsuo Tormaigh MacRagallach Jyo Mashima Ketsuki _________________
Ketsuki hadn't slept. He hadn't even been home during the whole night. He had been walking around in the city to see if he could buy some souls. This far he had gotten two, one from an alcoholic who didn't want any more hangovers and wished to be able to drink more. And one from a prostitute who needed money so she could quit. Now he returned home to check if he had gotten any mail. He got quite a suprise when he saw that there actually was a letter there. Normally noone sent him anything since he didn't give away his adress. He opened the letter and read through it. He read through it again. Then he began to laugh, or rather hiss in a laughing manner. These humans wanted him to help them? Were they out of their minds? But then he realised that this was an opportunity that would be stupid to waste. So after using a spell to seal it up and make it look new, it didn't have any names anyway, all he did was to change the adress, and threw it into a random box just to see what would happen. Then he took of to check this out. Scared people would often sell their soul for what they would do for free otherwise.

Sho Tetsuo_________ Tormaigh MacRagallach Jyo Mashima________ Ketsuki_____________ Richard Price________
Almost immediately after Ketsuki left his mailbox, tossing the re-sealed letter into another random drop box, Price ambled his way onto the scene, decked out in his usual attire of a long black leather jacket, tight black sleeveless shirt, and black jeans. His sword was strapped to his back underneath the coat, just in case he decided spontaneously to hit the training area for some sword katas. Instead, however, it would seem that his fate would be to likely use his sword for something much more practical.
Almost completely marching by the mailbox without even noticing it, Price's head swerved to the left, noticing its presence. With a little shrug and a mental note of 'Hey, why not?' the martial artist made a quick ninety-degree turn and headed over towards the box. Opening the one with the same numbers as his dorm, the same one, in fact, that Ketsuki randomly decided to throw his own letter into. Eyeing that very letter, a little grin spread across the boy's face as he tore it open with little regard for the envelope's well-being.
"Bad ass, mail that's not from my parents."
It was an unmarked envelope with no return address, and this, of course, intrigued Price even further. Upon closer inspection, it would seem that someone had selected him, apparently, to find out what was going on within a tower of... Price squinted his eyes to make sure he was reading it right. "Trails?" he muttered quietly to himself, "we going on a hiking trip?"
Shrugging, Price tossed the letter into the trash, deciding that, if he got the thing, it would be in his best interest to show up. Thus, having already showered and ate for the morning, and needing nothing else but the materials he had on his person already, Price made his way toward the meeting point, already seeing that four others had gathered there.

The Unknown being felt that all the letters went to all the right people for the job and he could only hope they are good for this kind of mission. With a snap of his fingers, all of the people that gotten the letter was sent to another area. A room that had a candle stand in he middle with a candle lit. The room was clearly dark and there was no doors in or out of the room.
Soon all 5 members heard a voice. A voice that seemed to come from the inner thoughts.
"Now then, I see the letters I sent all came."
The Unknown being came up from the shadows. He was about 7 feet tall and was in a black robe that covered his all body. He was also wide is size.
"Now then, if my letters came to you five. They must have thought you were all good for this mission type. I myself do not know what full details on this. But....."
With a wave of his right hand, the unknown being made a warp that linked the room to the woods near the tower.
"What is behind this warp is the area that you will need to enter. First you will enter the woods that is near the tower. There has been rumors about the woods. One being that you die and is never seen again. Enter the warp if you wish. If not..."
He then opened up another warp that linked it to the their world.
"You can go home. You pick. But now this, get ready, and to careful."

Jyo looked at the others. He had recently met Torm and knew the man to be a generally good guy. He had heard of Price but very little. The others he didn't know anything about. But he hoped they could pull together as a team and get this done. Jyo knew he was strong but from what he was hearing they would all have to rely on each other.
He looked at the portal and then back to the being giving them their assignment. "So thats it. no other information can really be given to us. I mean the changes over the people and the Tower are obviously our focus. But what exactly are we doing. Recon or something else." He asked. Jyo was fully ready to go through. But he wanted to know what was expected of them. He wasn't going into a mission without knowing what the actual purpose of it was.

The teleportation to the room had suprised Ketsuki a little but he decided not to make a big thing out of it. Instead he listened to the briefing and looked at the warps. A forest didn't seem as the best thing to gather souls in, unless he could steal one from the others. He looked at them and recognised all of them from the training grounds where he likes to sit and look for weaknesses. He also agreed with what Jyo said, being sent there without a briefing would be just as dangerous to the mission as it would be to the others. Ketsuki could always be resurected in a new body, but that was more trouble than gain so he prefered not to.

Torm is confident that between the five of them, they will be able to handle pretty much anything they can dish out out there, but he shares Jyo's concerns. He has no intentions of going on a hopeless mission voluntarily; he'd prefer to have a little more to go on before choosing. More importantly than personal safety, without some clear objectives to accomplish Torm isn't sure if they'll be able to make much headway once on site. From what little info they have, it sounds like this mission deals with some serious business.

ooc: Just to let you know, I will being posting every 2 days.
ic: The being looked at the group. He knew that they wouldn't just go in like gun-hong fighters. But even he didn't know much about the Tower of Trails. No matter how hard he would try, something was blocking him from fully understanding the tower. Seeing as the others was wondering more about the tower, he should just tell them. He linked his thoughts with all of the others together.
"All I know is this, there is 7 Trails. They are called the Sister of the Trails or Trail Sisters. Each gifted in different powers. As far as I know, there is the Trail of Sight, Trail of Sadness, and Trail of Bones. As for the other 4, they are deep in the tower and something is blocking my powers form knowing. Now then, the first would be Trail of Sight. Anyone that went into the woods never came back or changed. Now then, I most make my leave. Go if you want."
He then closed the link to the others and from each other. Soon another warp under the being's feet and fell in, making his leave of the group. But he left the warps up so they can pick if they want to go or not.
ooc: If you don't post by the 26th, then you are out of the mission.

Jo narrowed his eyes. There was verylittle explaination. he didn't like that. he had the feeling this was something important. But he wasn't sure if it was the wisest choice to go through. He turned and looked to the others. Torm and Price. two men he was sure could do a good job from what little he knew. He wasn't sure about the other two. One of them had spoken up but the other had just remained silent.
"Well I'm going in. I don't like not knowing my actual goals but now my curiousity has been raised. Who else is going?' He asked.

As soon as Price appeared, he found himself as well as the four others suddenly being whisked away via some kind of magic spell to a completely different location. Standing before them was a rather large, rather shady cloaked man, who did not waste much time, and began to speak, uttering words that brought Price's eyebrow up in disbelief and no small amount of amusement. Apparently, this man had summoned them all to do his dirty work involving something that he knew literally nothing about. Wonderful. As he created the warp gate with a flick of his wrist, he mentioned something about the forest, and its rumors that no one who entered ever returned.
"Well, then, I wonder where the rumors come from," Price muttered under his breath, but loud enough for all to hear.
Due to the general silence of the rest of the gang, the strange robed figure spoke again, giving out just a teensy bit more information than he had originally. 'Sisters of the Trails? I knew it. We have to fight a bunch of hikers,' Price quipped sardonically in his mind. With all said, and all yet to be done, the man took his leave of the group, leaving the decision to go or not up to them. With a shrug, he was about to speak up to the rest of the group when Jyo did so first. Afterwards, Price answered his question in kind.
"Psshh, some crazy old mage and his stories about Trail-Mix Sisters or whatever girl scouts doesn't scare me none. I don't see what the rest of you are all pissin' your pants about. I've been ready to go since we stepped foot in this, er... wherever we are. Come on, Fly-boy," Price mentioned to Jyo, whose name he didn't know at the time, "let's go get this done. I still want to get back in time for lunch."
With a cocky grin and a swagger of equal proportions, Price sauntered into the warp gate, heading straight for the forest, without a care in the world of just who would follow and who wouldn't. After all, as far as he was concerned, none of the other four could appear, and he'd be more than capable of dealing with whatever was going here himself.

Jyo shook his head and sighed. Price was way too cocky. He was going to rush right into this and probably get killed if someone wasn't with him. "Well he's gonna get killed if someone doesn't go along." Jyo said and walked in after Price still slightly irked. Jyo always felt a need to help others at the Academy. ANd Pice wasn't going to be an exception. he was sure Price was highly skilled but He wasn't sure if he could handle things alone. Jyo didn't really think any of them could at this time.
After he stepped through he caught up with Price hoping the opthers would come along. there was strength in numbers and they could cover more ground much more easily together than if only a couple went in. "Hold up. You're likely to get killed running off half-cocked like that. Let's see if the others want to come as well. There are only going to be positive things by having a group of people from the Academy instead of one or two. If the people who sent us chose five people than it's a good assuption all five of us should work together. Just hold on for a bit and let the others decide if they want to come along." Jyo said somehow not sounding like a jerk taking command. But rather a persn who had experiance in these matter and wanted to make sure things went as smoothly as they could.

"So, are we going to go now or what?"
Patience may be Ketsukis strength usually but he saw this mission almost only as a waste of time. During the mission he could read the other members fears and wants and outside the mission he could tempt whoever he wanted to. But this was being stuck in the middle. Nothing of any worth happened so he became inpatient. Of course he could go by himself but since he did it to steal the others souls it wasn't very good to do it just to find out that they decided to go home. So he waited.
