Captian Edison stood 'at ease' while they mulled over the information, and shifted slightly when more questions were to be answered. Not exactly out of discomfort or iritability, but simply because he was preparing to divulge more information. "The Barret's BMG rounds are coated with the equivalent of magic teflon. Most barriers, sheilds, or enchantments are blown aside by that substance unless the magic backing the defensive spells are stronger than that of the mana core." He paused to recall any other features of the weapons, "The beam rifle also has a similar property only it's not a physical round, obviously. Unless the magic behind the defensive is stronger than the energy out put, you wont have much luck stopping the beam."
Then he turned slightly to the white haired mage, "As for leads, the only thing we have are tracks which dissapear about two miles out. We don't know if the suits capibilities had the man jumping hundreds of yards away, or if he managed to get a hold of a flight ability, but where the tracks stop, we picked up no traces of mana." He then turned to the demon, "You may need back up, I'll send a small squad with you." Then, returning to the other three, "That's about all we know, the men I'm sending with you will show you the foot prints." He returned to attention and saluted the bunch. Afterward, he touched the small communicator in his ear, about faced, and walked back to the hangar.
A ways away, three soldiers were running toward the mages in full combat gear. They were armed M-16's, a pair of side arms and a bandolier of clips each, as well as desert camo equipment. Momentarily, the men reached the mages, and holding their rifles in their left hands, they saluted with the airforce salute. "Second Lieutenant, Christopher Madison." The one on the right said in a loud clear voice. Madison was a rather clean cut man of around twenty four. You couldn't tell however, since there was what appeared to be face paint on the man in the organization to match his desert camo.
The next man spoke up, the one in the middle, "First Lieutenant, John Oxinos." The second man said in a slightly deeper, seemingly more experienced voice. This one clearly had stubble showing through the camo paint on his face, but other than that, he was just about as facially stricken as his subordinate, if slightly taller and more built. Taller and more built still, as if they were aligned in size order, stood the final man, the one on the left if the mages were facing the bunch. "Sergeant, Raz Adoti." This man was the biggest of the trio, standing at over six foot seven. Albeit, he wasn't as tall as the largest student infront of him, but he was certainly more muscular. He didn't even try to contain his arms within a fatigue jacket, instead, he had the sleeves ripped off from under his flak jacket.
"If you gentlemen will come with us, we'll show you where the tracks of the suit end." The Sergeant said with a deep voiced authority as he looked past the three infront of him to the one walking away. Obviously he wasn't too interested in what the soldiers had to say and was going to enact his own plan, but he'd need help to at least find the man and the combat armor.
The three men would walk around the students in the general direction of the one walking away. Lucky guess or otherwise, the student had been heading in the general right direction.

Spells/Abilities:-Sonar Ping: by pumping mana through the metal detector, the user sends out a sonar ring that bounces off of any metal objects in the area and comes back to the metal detector, widening the range exponentially.

-Detonate: The magical version of the Anti-mine kit, this spell causes a tiny pinpoint explosion that can detonate mines that are too sensitive to disarm otherwise.
-Eagle Scope: As the name might imply, this spell allows the user to see as though he were looking through binoculars.
-Military Might: Another soldiers must. Increases all physical stats by five.

-Military Might: Another soldiers must. Increases all physical stats by five.
-Hell Fire Rain: Fire, Darkness, and Air element are pumped into one of the barrels of the M72 LAW and when the rocket is fired skyward, a rain of mid-high level meteor like objects rain down like a scatter shot mortar.
-Magnitude: As the name might imply, this spell amplifies. Only it has nothing to do with seismic activity, it amplifies the explosive force of the frag grenades by a certain number. Each increase in number multiplies the force by ten. IE, magnitude 1 is normal, 2 is ten times stronger than normal, 3 is 100 times stronger.
-Poison mist: A spell that affects the smoke bombs this time. Instead of smoke or tear gas, this spell has the smoke bomb spewing a purple/brownish smoke that acts as both a corsosive agent but also a nuero-toxin if inhaled.
