>.> Thanks for the comments and thoughts... but a little clarification.
img1: Ulquorria is a character from bleach, one of the espada
img2: Is actually not a siggy, it is a background.
as for the emptiness... well, I have a thing where I get to the point where I like it and then just stop before I dislike it and just scrap it. So if you know what I mean, and if your an artist then you really should know what I mean hehe.
And the siggy being 300x100 up to 420x100? Isn't that a bit... cramped? Best you can do on a canvas like that is one to two renders and an almost unseen background... figured that as long as i didn't stretch the page it would be fine... after all 700x200 which is a bit big for my taste was the max I would go but the minimum space I needed hehe, usually I work on a 600x200 canvas which is also cramped but that usually works out for me. Other than that I will put up a few other things I have done a bit later.

First off, a 120x300 is the standard. That gives you enough height to place well cut render and enough width to place text. The background shouldn't be what draws you in, it should be the render itself. Background is just there to take up space, that's it. Also, the average Sig has ONE render, cause that should be all you need if you do it well.
Speaking of which I need to go do Junpei's new Sig.

Never before have I read a post so full of opinions that were so bluntly stated as supposed facts.
Anyway, Curis, they're pretty. I kinda like 'em, but I've got no real artistic eye past that with which to give you any criticisms.
So rock on.

I believe you mean 'as "opposed" to facts.'

I just meant the way Junpei presented his opinions, it sounded as if they were, at least in his mind, widely accepted facts of how to make signatures.
So, yes, I agree with your point, we're all giving opinions, in our own little ways, I suppose.

Of all the sig makers I know, and have seen, they stick to 120x300, just how I've always seen them. Usually only one render to, although their are exceptions; such as the 200x420, or the 200x300.

A lot of people at TriKing use 500X150.

I don't really like the background or sig # 1, just because (for the sig), it was kind of cut out a little sketchy. But besides that, keep up the good work!
