"Miracles do exist Celeste...you're my miracle," Hadrian said softly as he looked over at her with a smile. She really was the best thing that ever happened to him and he wanted her to know that. He continued to look at her with a smile, his eyes roaming over her body. She was beautiful, her skin glowing in the sunlight, she was so innocent and pure. Hadrian loved everything about her and he wanted her to know that. In fact he wanted to show her, on this vacation, just how much he loved her and wanted her to feel special and cared for. He sat up a little and wrapped his arms around her, picking her up and laying her on top of him.
"Celeste...I love you so much," he said kissing her gently as he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close against him as the sun washed over both of them. He sighed softly and closed his eyes as he held her in his arms. She was so light it was as if she were not on top of him at all. He smiled and kissed her again as he held her, "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me Celeste Marquis," he said with a smile as he gave her a deeper, loving kiss.
He smiled as he broke the kiss and yawned gently. For one of the few times in his life he felt truly at peace and relaxed. His eyes started to droop, "I think I'm going to take a nap," he said softly with another yawn as he gave her another kiss. With that kiss he fell asleep, holding his most beloved Celeste in his arms as he slept peacefully.
Hadrian called her his miracle and she blushed smiling brightly. There was just something about him that made her happy and at peace. He was the one that made her smile and made her laugh. The one that was sweet and the one that took care of her. He protected and didn't harm her. He was the man that she looked forward to seeing everyday. How he lit up the room the moment he came home and how she couldn't wait to hear the door open and look up to see him coming in.
Suddenly she felt his arms around her and he lifted her up. She squeaked a little as she now lay on top of him in his chair being held. She nuzzled right in comfortable with just being there with him. She closed her eyes and heard him tell her that he loved her and she smiled. He was sweet. Always reminding her of what she had with him. She kissed him the several times he kissed her and she giggled as she nuzzled down into him when he said he was going to nap.
"I love you too Hadrian. I'm going to nap with you. You're my sweet sweet angel. Sleep well my love." she whispered softly to him and stroked his bare chest with her thumb for a few moments before she too fell into a restful sleep on top of the man she loved more than life itself.
Hadrian yawned softly as an hour and a half later he was a wake, still holding his beloved Celeste gently against his chest. He held her in his arms and stroked her hair lovingly as he let her sleep on his chest. He smiled and sighed softly at the feeling of her light little body pressed up tightly against his. Hadrian wondered if she planned on having any more carnal fun on this vacation. Because he was certainly thinking it but then again he was a male and all males of any species tended to be pre-occupied with thoughts like that most of the time. But even Hadrian was finding it hard to concentrate on anything else with Celeste laying on top of him like she was. She was a vision of beauty and even Hadrian who normally seemed so cold and distant was having trouble keeping his mind calm and free of thoughts of her naked flesh.
He sighed and lifted her up a little and set her down on the chair alone. Hadrian decided he needed to cool off a little so he spread his wings and swan dived off of the ship, flying low against the water skimming it. Then he plunged in and started to swim letting the water wash over his body as he swam around the ship occasionally flying up out of the water to skim along it.
After swimming for a little while he landed back on the yacht, dripping gently with water. He moved over to the deck where the chairs were to see if Celeste had woken up yet. Even the swim could not cleanse all the naughty thoughts he was having about her, but then again he doubted anything ever would.
Celeste didn't wake for some time. It wasn't until a few minutes after Hadrian got back from swimming. There was just something about being away from everything. The academy. The Nephilim Corporation. Everything. She could just be Celeste Marquis and enjoy the time she had on this earth. Now with Hadrian by her side it was even better her bruising had long since healed and even when she did something wrong Hadrian was there with a hug and a kiss instead of a fist and a beating. She was getting better every day about her self esteem and perhaps one day it would be even better than it had been before.
She woke gently her blue eyes opening to the shadow standing before her. When her eyes adjusted she saw Hadrian there and she smiled brightly. He was wet and dripping he looked so cute just wet like that. His hear sticking to his head and his shorts sticking to his body. She chuckled and got up off the chair. She went over to him and wrapped her arms around his toned body and looked up into those red eyes that only seemed to show her kindness and no one else. She liked that, it was nice. Nice to know that those eyes not only had the capability to show kindness but that he held her up on a pedestal above all others.
"Have a nice swim?" she asked softly. "Cool off a bit? It is rather warm. Would you like to go inside into the shade for a bit until we reach the beach?" she asked with a smile.
Hadrian actually laughed a little as he watched Celeste wake up and look over at him and giggle a little. Apparently he looked amusing have just recently come out of the water. It was just good to hear her laugh again. As long as she was happy then Hadrian knew things were right in the world. She was definitely starting to get better and Hadrian was so glad for that. He remembered, painfully, those first few weeks after what Angra did to her. She was a wreck both physically and especially mentally. She had lost all self-worth and felt so meaningless it hurt Hadrian so badly to have seen her like that. Everytime she did something wrong in those first few weeks she winced prematurely as if Hadrian was going to hit her or something. He was glad to know that she was getting better now. Hadrian loved her so much and she was so precious and special, he wanted her to know that. Because that feeling of being special was what she had lost when Angra's fists had ravished her body. She was beginning to get it back now and Hadiran could not have been happier.
He smiled softly as she wrapped her arms around him and he hugged her back, looking down into her beautiful crystalline blue eyes. They were so wide annd innocent, Hadrian loved staring into them. He leaned down and kissed her gently, enjoying the feeling of her body and her lips pressed against him. He nodded a little when she asked if he wanted to go inside while they waited for the boat to reach its destination. With a playful grin, he picked her up, slinging her over his shoulder as he carried her inside.
With a soft laugh he gently tossed her onto the bed and lay down next to her, "Celeste...I love you," he said softly with a bright smile as he looked over at her. They laid together on the bed as he stared into her eyes deeply, unable to pull his gaze from her, "So what do we do now?" he asked, still unsure of what you were supposed to do exactly on these vacations. Hadrian had never been on one but so far he was enjoying his first vacation, almost solely because of the fact that he was with Celeste.
