She smiled. He was the sweetest boy she had ever met and aside from all the metal that now covered his body he ws that same exact boy. He began to dance with her in the kitchen and she smiled. She figured he would think it was stupid but here he was dancing with her like it was normal.
She closed her eyes and lay her head on his shoulder as they danced together. Each one holding the other as if they were precious. But the truth was, he was precious to her. He was the sole reason now she would stay. If he asked in a moment, she would be ready to leave or go somewhere. She had been reunited with her best friend in the world.
She wanted to tell him how she felt. Tell him how much he meant to her and how much she cherished him. But she didn't want to ruin the mood and she also didn't want to ruin the thought that he might spurn those feelings. Instead she continued dancing with him as if they were not in his kitchen but on some grand stage.
"Brandon?" she whispered softly. "What would you say if i asked you, if I .. could live here.. in this room with you and mek?" she asked softly.

The dance was amazing, the two of them seemingly whirling across an infinite space. Miraculously they missed every single piece of furniture in his home, as if they really were dancing in a different space. Still in the ballroom, he looked own at her and smiled, together the most precious person ever to have been in his life. She was the best thing that had ever happened to him, and he couldn't help but to lover her for that, and nor did he want to do anything else. He began humming softly to the tune in his heart, the unearthly ballet whirling through every chamber of his heart and soul as Kelsie and himself whirled through his room in an dance of divinity, their souls connected through each and every step they took. Then she spoke.
Brandon froze, his body and brain entering "standby" mode for the second time that day. This he had not expected. Slowly he turned his now open eyes to wards her. "You really...?" He couldn't end the sentence, a tear running from his eye, glistening in the poor illumination. He swallowed hard before he tried again. "You really want to live down here with me?" He barely whispered, half-frozen with surprise and touched beyond anything he had felt since they held hands for the first time. He couldn't believe it, he simply couldn't. Slowly a smile crept on to his face. "Oh Kel" He flung his arms around her, crying with joy once again. "Yes, my home is your home, and you would render everyone of my dreams true if you would come and live here with me." The thought of asking her had crossed his mind several times already, but he had been too scared that she would run off scared, even though she had proved how very little the replacements and his changes meant.
"Please, don't wake me now to tell me this is all a dream. I don't wanna push my luck just to wake up and find that you were a dream" He had missed her for so very long, giving up a little bit of his soul to the pain every day, and he had caught himsekf wandering whether or not he were dreaming. But this felt so real that it had to be, she couldn't be a dream, fate couldn't be that cruel, could it? It wouldn't play a trick like this on him, now when he needed her more than ever, would it
"I could wish for no more." He had pulled back, his cheek overflowing with tears as his hand gently caressed her cheek. "I hope to God that this is not a dream" He laughed even as the tears ran, happy and afraid at the same time. "Do you really want to live down here with me?" He asked again, the happiness of the thought unable to fit in his logic. "Because if you do, you'll be welcome any time" He hugged her tightly, stroking her hair and running his hand her her hair, his eyes closed and his heart whole.

He seemed stunned. Truly shocked at her question. She almost feared that he would be mad that she had asked it in the first place. He took a break from trying to speak for a moment and they were no longer dancing. Problem with dancing was she had no idea where she was. A few feet from the couch for sure she could hear Harley breathing. And a ways away from the kitchen where Mek was indeed working on dinner.
"Yes of course I would love to." she said softly in response to his full question.
He hugged her tightly as if his biggest dreams had just come true. She chuckled and hugged him back closing her eyes out of habit and instinct. He was the best friend she had ever had and he was the one that made her smile no matter what. it was nice to be reunited with him and to have someone that she could talk to and someone that would understand and enjoy just who she was. He told her that all his dreams would come true if she came to live with him and she chuckled again raising a brow. Just what dreams did he have?
He began to beg her to tell him that it wasn't a dream as his hand went through her hair. She chuckled again and pulled back slightly listening to him. He was so happy. She couldn't remember ever hearing him so very happy in all her life. She placed her finger up on his lip to quiet him for a moment. Then doing something truly bold but a 'wake up call' so to speak she leaned in and kissed him. She kissed him gently for a moment no more no less before she broke it not in the least bit repulsed.
"Does it still feel like a dream, Bran?" she asked softly with a smile on her face.
His home was her home and she was welcome any time. She smiled and hugged him tightly. This was definatly turning out to be the best day of her life. She had found her best friend, and now they were moving in together for as long as they stayed here. That would make it nice because she was blind and it was easier to live with someone than alone. Especially in a strange new place. She pulled back from the hug.
"Guess we'll go get my things after dinner?" she said with a smile as she reached up and found his cheek cupping it gently. "I'm so happy Brandon. So very happy. Today is the best day of my life. I can't wait to move down here. We'll be like a family. Caring for each other and spending time with each other. It'll be almost like we were never parted. And that will make MY dreams come true." she said with a smile.

Her finger gently touched his lips, as his had touched hers not long before. Without a word her lips softly connected with his own and, for the brief period the kiss lasted, he felt all his fear and doubt wash away. "I'm sorry Kel" He said, stroking her cheek with nothing but calm happiness in his voice, "And to answer your question, yes" He knew he had been sounding panicking, but he had been truly afraid. This would not have been the first time he dreamt of her return to wake up alone. "Like a dream come true"
She hugged him and he hugged her back, his fear gone and his hysteria faded away. "But there's a lot of stuff lying around down here, and its not all as friendly as uncle's garage. I've that a few steps up" Brandon's room was a combined living area and laboratory, he lived and worked down there. "But I'll be happy to rearrange it for you." He was overflowing with joy but prevented the tears with a few deep breaths.
"Oh Kel, oh dear, sweet, precious Kel." He responded to her words. "We've got so much catching up to do. You are one of the first to not be repulsed by my new looks, but there's still a lot you need to know. I still have my toys, but now" He nuzzled into her hand as it cupped his cheel, the genlte caress working wonders on his tarnished heart. "But now they are somewhat less... funny." Brandon had always been obsessed with his toys, notably his uncles tools. He had never managed to accomplish anything with them, but he had always been fascinated by what his uncle could do with them, one of the reasons he had wanted to be a mechanic.
Mek had finished the meal a few minutes ago now, but his attempts at contacting Brandon through telepathy had proven unsuccessful and he decided to resort to different means. "Tech, dinner's ready." His eerie, artificial voice rang through the room, making Brandon twitch slightly. He didn't want to be reminded of the identity he had abandoned his real name for. "Do you want me to lead you to the table?" He asked her, the discomfort quickly dwindling away in her presence. He looked at the dog again to confirm th at it was indeed the same dog, or at least it looked similar. "Should I have Mek fix something for Harley as well?" He held her tightly, happy beyond any measure that they were together, and would stay together. Nothing would be able to seperate them now

Life had changed drastically with the reappearance of Brandon in her life. Now she was happy, happier than she had ever been in her life before now and she was definatly never going to leave this man again. He was the sole reason to stay here now she could be here and have her own little family with Brandon. He was the sole person in her life that had taken the time and the pleasure to get to know her. Others and pushed her aside, ignored her, and found her unworthy. But never Brandon.
He told her that he was so happy she was here calling her his dear and she could only smile. It was nice to actually be wanted for once. She was hugged tightly and she closed her eyes just letting the feeling of his hug rush over her. But it was soon broken by the little flying thing telling them that dinner was ready and calling him Tech. She raised her brow as she pulled back and pointed her face up towards him.
"Is that what you go by now, Tech?" she asked softly as she cupped his face. "You'll always be my Brandon but if you prefer I can call you that. You have only to tell me what you want." she whispered softly.
He asked her if she wanted to be led to the table and she smiled. Always considerate of her and her needs. He also asked if Harley needed anything and her smile grew.
"don't worry about your place, once I get the layout down I'll be just fine. Aside from that i would appreciate an escort to your table. And as for Harley. I will feed him later tonight once I get my things down here. But Brandon, where will I be? I mean here in the room with you. Where will my things go and where will I sleep. I know you haven't really given me a tour or anything but I'm just curious." she said softly.

"Yeah, I've gone by Tech for a little while now, but I'll always be your Brandon" She was so sweet, so considerate, willing to call him some stupid cover name he had made up because he couldn't stand being Brandon Thomas anymore. He smiled as she cupped his cheek, softly running his hand through her hair as he gently nuzzled into her hand. Maybe it wouldn't be too painful going back to being Brandon again, now that Kelsie was back. Maybe it wouldn't hurt at all.
He lead her back to the couch and the coffee table, knowing that she would probably know immediatly. "I don't have a lot of furniture down here, most of it is my equipment. That's what fills most of my schedule these days." He said with a slight smile before he remembered that she couldn't see it and gently ran his fingers across her cheek.
"And about the location of your stuff, we can put it pretty much wherever you want it. This is a big place. I'll take you wall to wall after we've eaten, if you want" He hoped it made sense, because he was not sure himself that it did. He had not spoken to her in so long that he had forgotten some of the important ways to speak to her, or at least so he feared.
He sat himself down on the couch next to her, looking at her face, thinking of how much and how little she had changed since the first time he had seen her. She was the first person of his own age to not mock him for being ´parentless´, the first to understand him. She had been so sweet that day at the playground, defending him in front of all the other kids.
His hand went to her chin at these thoughts, gently holding it as he came in and softly kissed her cheek, closing his eyes. He knew he was kissing her alot, and that it could be too much after all these years, but he had missed her so much that these thoughts and fears were thrown to the wind for these moments of bliss and fulfillment. He sent a subsconcoius message to Mek to set the table, so halfhearted that Mek only barely intercepted it, immediatly beginning to collect the neccesary plates and cutlery.
"I'm sorry if I'm overdoing it" Brandon whispered as he gently removed his lips from her cheek, slowly reopening his eyes. "But I've missed you so much, and I've missed being with you, the little chats we used to have and the games we used to play." He gently brushed some of her blonde hair from her ear and smiled. "I'm just so happy that you're back"
Mek dished the food up on two plates, keeping the portions in sensible sizes and flew over to the two young people on the couch with the plates held in with a few of his tools. He was confused by what Tech felt, the warm emotion in conflict with his code of logic.
Brandon leaned back from the kiss on her cheek, gently caressing her face and neck with his artificial hands. "I guess we are the only family we have left" He whispered, only far too well recalling the uncaring nature of her mother and his own parents. "And I'll make sure that nothing will ever get in between us, ever again" She was the only true family he had ever known, it had always been Kelsie, his uncle and himself. Nobody else had cared, but the three of them had stuck together.
Her sightless blue eyes were as beautiful as ever, still shining with tears of joy. She was his angel, the one who had saved him, both so long ago and now again, lighting his path out of the dakr labyrinth that was his soul. He stroked her cheek once again, smiling as he did so.I love you, he thought, not ready to mouth the words just yet

She chuckled softly as he appologized again and she placed her finger on his lips. She smiled as she leaned in and kissed his cheek too this time because he really did mean the world to her. He was the only one that she could ever count on and the only one that made her smile like he did.
"Please, don't appologize any longer. You know that you mean a lot to me, you cannot over do it. I will let you know if you do. But after so long of being gone from you I can guarantee that to feel your lips on my cheek or hand or anywhere for that matter makes me feel warm inside like I belong here." she whispered softly.
He told her that he missed the games they used to play and the things they used to talk about. It was true. She had spent many long nights thinking about it to herself what she and Brandon had done on those summer days and nights. She leaned against him when he pulled back from her and she smiled.
"I remember those games. Hide and seek. I always found you no matter where you hid." she chuckled. "I remember you would hand me things and see if I could guess what they were. Remember the time you handed me the frog?" she asked with a smile remembering how much he ha laughed when she had finally figrued out it was a frog and freaked out a little when it croaked she had dropped it.
The smell of dinner and of Mek setting it down on the table beside them she smiled. It smelled so good. Heck if she had a little robot cooking for them all the time then she was going to get very lazy. But she wanted to cook so she made a plan in her mind to cook tomorrow for him. Because she wanted to take care of him as he would take care of her. A partnership if you will.
She couldn't help but smile brightly when he told her that they were family now. Nothing was going to get between them and she hugged him tightly. There was never a couple that seemed to be so touchy on their first day she had to think but they went way back. And not just that but the fact that they had only been reunited.
"You are my only family and all the family I'll ever need Brandon. I won't leave you ever again, I'll stay by your side no matter what. You have my word." she said softly as she kissed his cheek this time.
"Well we better eat right? Or Mek might get mad having to do all that work all by himself and if we let it go cold like the hot chocolate well then that would be disrespectful." she chuckled softly as she moved back from his cheek.

Her finger met his lips, again telling him t oquiet down. He closed his eyes as he felt her lips gently met his cheek, Kelsie returning his kiss. His eyes remained closed as her words reached his ears and he smiled. She knew how much those words would mean to him. He opened his eyes when she mentioened ´hide 'n seek´. "Yeah, I remember. You always found me, everytime. I only had had to twitch in the slightest, didn't I?" He had also had a growing suspicion that she had been able to hear him breathe, but he would tease her with that later.
In truth, he had feared that she would have forgotten some of their childhood memories that he held so dear, but it seemed that she remembered them even better than he did. "It took me half a day to find and capture that frog, but seeing the look on your face was more than worth it" He said in a teasing and playful voice, running one if his fingers down her nose. He had always done that as a sort of substitute for his smile, and nobody had ever appreciated it like she had.
She moved in and hugged him, his heart softening in her embrace and completely melting when she spoke of him being the only family she would ever need. He was hers, body and soul, when she kissed his cheek again, her love meeting his through her gentle gesture. "I don't need your word to belive you" He whispered, hugging her back with all his joy. "I know its true when you say it"
She moved back ever so slightly, but remained in his arms. "Yeah, you must be hungry by now" Mek had finished setting the table and had already begun washing off some of the kitchen items that were no longer in use. Brandon reluctantly removed her arms and lead them to her plate, then left them over her cutlery so she knew where both were. Otherwise she would have had to try and find them on her own, and he remembered all to well, and with a slight smile, that it could result in her having food all over hands and sleeves. He ran his hand down her cheek once more, slowly, softly and with care, before he turned to his own plate. But his thoughts never left her

She smiled softly as he seemed to remember their games and things as a child. That summer had been the happiest of her life and she never wanted to forget a single moment of it. She sighed softly when he told her that all he had to do was twitch and she would find him. She giggled and nodded.
"No, when I got close enough your breathing would change before you shifted. You always got so nervous when I got close you would twitch and your breathing would get faster it's how I could find you no matter what." she chuckled softly.
As for the frog she remembered that one all too well. It wasn't that she was upset that it had been a frog in the first place more that she was surprised when it was something alive than something like a stick or a leaf that he normally brought her. She remembered all the things they did that summer. All the fights in the water at the bank of the lake. Splashing each other repeatedly. The games of tag which she usually lost for tripping over things. The times that they spent together watching the clouds and that one special time they had held hands.
But then his finger ran down her nose and she trembled. She closed her eyes as a single tear fell down her cheek. That was something only he did and it meant so much to her. Her heart skipped a beat as she quickly reached up and brushed the tear away. It meant that he was happy and that he was having a good time. It meant so much more than that to her it was like an unspoken word that neither were ready to say but both seemed to feel.
He pulled back and led her hands to her plate and her silverware. Feeling them out gently she smiled softly as she put her plate in her lap feeling the warmth of it through the thin fabric of her dress. She picked up her fork and knife and artfully cut her spaghetti into bites so that she didn't have to fight with noodles she couldn't see.
"It's very nice of you to let me stay and to make dinner. I really appreciate it. What shall we do after we go get my things?" she asked softly as she took a bite of the spaghetti and savored the rich taste of the sauce. Mek was an excellent cook she would have to compliment him later. "And you never answered my question on where I would be sleeping here."

"I knew it, I knew it was the breathing" He laughed, not so much because of what had been confirmed, but because of the ease Kelsie gave him with her presence, relieving him of the pressure that had weighed on his shoulders for so very long. His uncle had been taken from him, severing his only bond to Kelsie and their past, the only part of his childhood he wished to remember. Together again at last, all the pain and hurt the separation had caused disappearing, lifting off his shoulders.
But her tear, he had not expected that. He almost asked her what was wrong, if he'd upset her but something held him back, something that seemed to know that it wasn't the case. Instead he leaned in to kiss the tear away, wanting to show her that he was there and that she mattered to him.
They began to eat, and she asked him what he thought they should do when they had gotten her things. He thought about it for a bit, and was about to suggest that they listened to some music, sat around for another cup of hot chocolate or went for a walk together, telling each other all the fun little things that had happened and what had changed, and he personally preferred the latter idea.
But when she asked him where she would be sleeping his eyes narrowed slightly, not out of hostility but a simple reflex. She's digging at something, He thought, but he decided to let it be. "I guess you should take the bed, seeing as you are still the guest" He said, smiling as he leaned in for another kiss, almost forgetting the meat sauce on his lips. He pulled back before he left a mark on her cheek, feeling a little stupid as he wiped off the meat sauce in the tissue that Mek silently offered him. "I'll take the couch here." He leaned in and kissed her cheek again, this time with no meat-sauce on his lips.
"And just for the record, I have a few suggestions to what we could do" He whispered as he pulled back. He had long ago excluded the idea of seeing a movie, a thing he rarely did anyway, there was simply too much junk. "I have some music that we could through, see if there's any of it that you like, I could ask Mek to fix us another two cups of hot chocolate or" He softly stroked her cheek with his artificial hands, smiling at her and expressing it through his touch. "We could go for a walk, get some fresh air and we could talk." He knew that they had already talked a lot, but there were still plenty of stories to tell. He was still anxious to hear what had happened to her and how she had ended up at Arcane Academy.
But most of all, he wanted to tell her how much she meant to him, how the time they had spent together was probably the only thing that had prevented him from becoming a total brat. He wanted to hold her in his arms and tell her that he loved her, but he knew it would be too early, too sudden. Or at least, so he feared

Kelsie blushed deeply when he leaned in and kissed her tear away before her hand could get rid of it. She smiled softly a soft red and pink covers coming across her face. She felt him touch her cheek as he told her that he would give her the bed and he would take the couch. She took his hand off her cheek and kissed the back of his fingertips gently as she smiled.
"No please, I am intruding, I will take the couch. I would rather sleep here living with you on a couch than in the most comfortable bed in the world. I just don't want to be alone any longer, and now that we're back together my dreams can come true." she said with a soft smile.
He leaned in and kissed her cheek leaving sauce on it. She chuckled softly and then he wiped it off with a napkin. She blushed softly again because he was taking care of her so sweetly. There was care behind everything he did and she couldn't help but want to read more into it than she might need to or than might actually be there. And then he kissed her cheek again.
She couldn't take this distance anymore. She took her plate in one hand and moved so that she could sit in his lap. She nuzzled into his neck and shoulder softly as she went back to eating. He was so warm and she could feel his heart beat softly though his shirt. She smiled.
"Brandon, I would love to take a walk with you. You were always the best at making all the things I can't see so beautiful in my mind. I would like to do that. Walk beside you like when we were young. Is there a park or a forest we can go to here?" she asked softly as she took another bite of her meal hoping she wasn't in the way of him.
"If .. I'm in the way right here let me know, I'll move. I just.. want to be close to you." she said softly as this time she kissed his cheek and then his nose.

He saw her take her plate out of her lap, and for a brief moment he feared that she would leave. But instead she moved to sit in his lap, his heart skipping a beat as she nuzzled into him for the second time that day. She kissed his cheek and he closed his eyes, but when she kissed his nose like he had touched hers, they opened again. It could be nothing, maybe just a misguided coincidence, but something told him that it was more than that.
"No" He whispered , still feeling the gentle kisses on his skin. "No, you're not in the way" He responded to her kisses by putting his arms around her waist, not squeezing just holding. He lay his head on her shoulder and let out a peaceful sigh. Being with her again was everything he remembered it to be, only more so as the time they had spent forced apart made them realize just how important the other one was to them.
She was warm, soft and sweet, her every breath making him feel lighter around his heart. What she had said about him being nervous around her, a thing that she had apparently used to seek him out when they were playing hide and seek, only seemed too true. He had always felt something for her, something that had kept his heart warm even in the most troubled times, something that had kept his hopes up no matter the odds. The warmth had never left him, nor had his hopes of seeing her again. Had he given up hope, he would have taken his own life long ago.
"Do you remember?" He began, pausing to kiss the back of her ear. "Do you remember the first time we met, on the playground?" He ran his one hand through her hair, the other one still across her waist. "When all the other kids were taunting me, teasing me and mocking me, and you stood up for me, defending me until uncle came?" Brandon had always been different from other kids, and maybe that was what had led him and Kelsie to meet at first, but there had always been something more in between them, something stronger. "I, I think... I think you were the first to show me what it is to be brave"
He sat there a little while, with her in his lap as his hand ran through her hair. "Kel" He said, unsure how to put it "I am hungry but... but I don't want you to move. This is gonna sound childish as hell, but" He lay his head back on her shoulder, closing his eyes briefly. "Would you give me some of that food? I won't bite you, a lot" He happily nuzzled his head into her neck. She was everything to him, his past, his present and hopefully also his future. He felt safe around her and he hoped she felt the same around him. Holding her in his arms and feeling his heart beat happily against her back, he smiled. He wanted to tell her what he felt but he pushed it a little further ahead. No idea in risking it all just yet

He seemed to accept her into his arms and she smiled softly. His one arm went around her waist gently holding her there while the other began to stroke her hair. She smiled softly as they leaned into each other enjoying the moment they had together. So long.. years it had been since they had been apart and now they were together once more.
He then asked her if she remembered something from childhood. How she had stood up for him on the first day they met. She smiled softly and ran her own hand up and down his cheek gently while he spoke of that day. It had been unusual for Kelsie to stand up to strangers like that but picking on a boy because he was different had struck a chord in her that ran deep. She being blind was constantly made fun of and therefore she knew what it was like when you were put down all the time. That kiss on her ear had sent shivers through her spine her ears were sensitive and that close she could really hear his breathing.
"I do remember that. I was so scared. I thought that they would hurt me. And when that one boy ran forward he had the zippers on his coat and I could hear him coming at him. I stopped him with my cane right to his chest. They all left and from then on I was the 'weird girl' but I didn't care. Because that day. I met you, my best friend in the whole world." she said softly.
He asked her if she would feed him and she smiled softly. Of course she would. She loved him. She hadn't told him that but she did. She got some of the food on her fork and lifted it. Her free hand came up to his chin so she would know where to aim and fed him gently. Waiting for his lips to surround the fork and take the bite. Then she would take a bite herself. Back and forth she went like this one for him and one for her until the whole plate was gone. It was a loving thing to do. Feeding him and there in lay the secret.
"How about that walk now?" she asked softly as she ran a napkin over both their mouths just in case she had missed or gotten a bit of sauce on either of them.
"I would love to see this place you call home now." she said softly as she put the empty plate next to his full one on the coffee table and got off his lap.

((OOC: Yippeah ;D))
She was someone truly special, she really was. Of all the girls he had been with, and those were far too many by his own standards, she was the only one who really reached under his skin, touching his soul and his heart. the way she fed him was so sweet, so caring that he barely tasted the food, utterly lost in her beautiful, unseeing eyes.
She asked if they should go for the walk he had promised her, and he got up with her, not sure exactly which walk to start off with. He chuckled slightly. "I wouldn't exactly call it home, but I live here, and I conduct my research here too. But I think that now when you move down here, it could be our home" He put his arm around her waist and gently took her hand with the other, leading her around the huge room in which they would now live together, a thought that made him smile happily. He let her touch every piece of furniture and research equipment that they came upon, taking a mental note to clean away the stuff that could do her harm. Then he lead her outside and up to surface again.
It had turned dark by the time they reached the surface, not that she would notice but it made Brandon smile. He remembered looking into her eyes that time they had held hands, and seeing the moonlight reflected the most beautiful way he had ever seen. He softly ran the back of his hand down her cheek, dearly loving her, but not ready to mouth the words just yet. He was still afraid that his emotion would scare her off.
He led her to a park, Mek quietly hovering a good distance behind them. He remembered this park, because it had a little hill with a bench. It had rained, leaving the calming smell of wet wood and leaves behind. The bench seemed dry, however, but Brandon didn't feel like studying whatever amazing means were used to produce that effect. He sat himself down on the bench, and let her feel it hoping that she would do the same, or maybe even sit in his lap again.
He leaned to the side, picking up a fallen leaf, still moist from the rain. "Kel?" He asked playfully, redoing what he had done so many times before. "Can you guess what this is?" He gently took her one hand and placed the leaf in her palm. He held her hand a little longer than necessary, savoring the gentle contact. Yes, she truly was someone special, special to him

Kelsie felt his arm move around her waist and his hand take hers gently. She smiled softly as she let her body go into his control. Letting him lead her through out the room. He was right however this was a very large room. He led her around letting her hands run over every piece of equipment that he had and all of the furniture that he had.
It was more working than equipment but if she moved it that might change just a little with some of her things. She lived a certain way because she was blind. She didn't have much and most of it was plain because she couldn't see so it mattered little. She smiled when they finished he told her that it wasn't home so much as it was a place to live. But he felt that if she moved in then it would definatly become a home.
"I've never had a real home before now. So to have one with you would make my life complete." she said with a soft smile.
He led her though the dark passage ways once again. She felt the cold of being underground and was glad she had brought a lot of warm clothing if she as going to be staying somewhere without the sun. Up the stairs and then out into the fresh air it hit her and she inhaled it softly. It smelled so good. She could tell that it was night time she could hear the bugs singing and feel the lack of the sun.
They walked in silence as she let him lead her. She trusted him completely and knew that he would lead her to where she was supposed to go. He wouldn't let her trip or fall he never had. She leaned her head on his shoulder gently as the wind played with the skirt on her dress. They walked up a grassy hill and she continued to follow him.
Soon they were at a bench and he had her feeling it out a bit. She smiled at how thoughtful he was and she sat down next to him. She leaned into the back of the seat and smiled. It was nice to be here. Out here with him. She closed her eyes and listened to the music that the night provided them. She felt him lean over and she opened her eyes.
Gently he took her hand and placed something in it. She blushed and smiled as he asked her what it was. It was the same childhood game they had played so long ago. She ran her other hand over it feeling the wetness. She chuckled as she let her fingers take on the wetness and then she flicked it at his face just to get him back.
"It's a maple leaf of course." she said as she tossed it up to let the wind take it where it would. She leaned against him again.
"So, Brandon, what have you been doing since I last left you. Why did you resort to partying and things? I mean, I want to know everything about you. I'm so glad that I met you. And I'm even happier that I found you again after so long. So please tell me what has happened to you since we were forced to part."
