Ziare moved over towards Jyo so he would hold her like she enjoyed.
"Do we have classes tomorrow?" she asked him placing her head on his chest.
She was not ready to return to the world. She was not ready to loose her time with Jyo again. But she knew eventually it would happen she was just not excited to see it come. Would she ever lose that reluctance? She hoped not.

"Yes some. But nothing out of the ordinary so they are classes that can be dismissed every so often." He said with a smile as they lay there. He would have skipped an important lesson to be with Ziare to tell the truth

Ziare looked up at him shocked.
"We can really spend another day together?" she asked the excitement evident in her eyes and voice.
Truth was she wanted to stay with Jyo. She loved the feeling of living together the feeling of spending all day that way. She just wanted to stay in this paradise as long as possible.

"Yeah. After all it isn't like we haven't done it before. and this would only be the second time. And you arent fully recovered I don't think though after what happendI don't know if that works as an argument anymore.' he said

"Well, I don't think they are going to come after us." she said smiling.
"I really don't think they'll care. As long as it's not a habit. Besides I declare the day Mashima Day." Ziare laughed.

"Just Mashima day? But what about your name. Unless of course you have plans to share that name with me one day." he said with a slightly more toned down attitude but he was still being cheerful and smiling when he said this

Ziare looked at him in awe. Was he breaching the subject.

"Well I've done some thingking. And though it's not going to be soon. I want to marry you at some point with how things are going. I'm not sure how long but I want that to happen." he said with a soft smile cupping her cheek in his hand.

Ziare's eyes grew as wide as imaginable she sat up and placed a hand on Jyo's. Her heart was racing and she was not sure if what she thought was what he meant or if he was just informing her that maybe someday they might could get married or if he was asking her too. She smiled big her whole face bright her eyes glistening.
She practically jumped into Jyo's arms giving him a massive hug tears yet happy tears streaming from her eyes.
"Oh Jyo!" But wait...
What if he didn't mean what she thought he meant. What if she got it all wrong. What was she supposed to do. She fought with herself. Despite herself she pulled back and looked him in the eyes. There didn't seem to be any hint of discomfort or anything.
"Do you mean? Did you just ask me to...?" her breathing was hard and her heart beat against her rib cage.
She wasn't sure and she hoped her would answer her quickly or she was due to die of a heart attack. She hoped she wasn't wrong but if she was he had said that someday he wanted to marry her so there was still a chance. But just thinking about it made her heart hurt. She looked up with hopeful eyes at Jyo...please answer, please answer quickly she thought.

He nodded.
"Yes. I'm not sure when it will be. But I want to be together with you." He said with a soft smile.
"I know I'll be asking it someday so I decided to ask now." He said. Jyo knew he just asked for the ultimate commitment from her. But he figured she would say yes to it. They would just have to wait for a while before anything actually got going in that direction

Ziare sat back looking at Jyo in disbelief. Her eyes were wide and bright with excitement her hands were shaking. She was speechless for the first time in her life. She sat there in awe.
"Jyo...." she whispered.
She dropped her gaze and then met his again. To say she was shocked was an understatement it had only been earlier today that they had talked about it but in 'not yet' terms but now suddenly it was if all the dreams she had ever had about Jyo were coming true. A bright smile slowly crossed her face. She leaned over and kissed him gently but passionatly.
"I think you already know my answer." she whispered staying close to him.
She suddenly stiffened.
"I have something for you, I've had for a long time." she said blushing.
She got up and walked to her desk pulling out the top drawer. In the back hidden just in case was a small square box. Inside was a gift she had gotten made especially for Jyo. It was a ring crafted of pure ruby. It was a dark ruby almost garnet in color. She had gone to a special store and they had crafted it so it was a braid of ruby a thick braid about a quarter inch in heigth. It was something she planned to give him on a special occasion and this seemed the time. It had been imbdued to help his fire magic focus and maybe even make is slightly more powerful. Inside where it was smooth it said,
With Love Ziare.
She walked over blushing it was unwrapped but still in the box from the store and she handed it to him turning away worried he wouldn't like it.

Jyo took the ring and studied it for a while. It was a thing of beauty. He didn't speak for a bit but he slid it in his right hand middle finger. It wasn't a perfect fit but it was very close to one. He smiled and looked up at Ziare.
"It's very pretty. Thank you. But you know..." He said getting a bigger smile.
"I think it was the man who is supposed to be giving the ring. I'll just have to make sure I have yours ready for when I offically propose to you." He said.

Ziare smiled a bit and shrugged.
"I've had it for a while and have been waiting for the right time." she said.
She had to admit she was a bit disappointed when he said this wasn't the 'official proposal' but she wasn't going to say anything. He did love her and did say he would she would just have to wait.
"I'm glad you like it. I had it made just for you." she looked away.

"I can tell. It fits snugly but not tightly. Just how I think it should' He said looking at it. he gave her a quick kiss.
"You know I think you spoil me. Isn't supposed to be the other way around?' he asked raising an eyebrow with a playful expression on his face.

Ziare giggled and put on a fun face.
"Yes it is." she sighed. "But alas I get no gifts."
She moved quickly not sure if he was going to attack her playfully or something but he had the look.
