~*~The flock flies, but it is one of many, easy to go unnoticed. The rain falls, yet all but one droplet shall be noticed. Six to seven billion people on the planet, yet several are treated like scum. The ratio is left uneven. If the rain shall all go unnoticed set aside one, or the animals shall all be together, without one flock of birds, why is it that human kind wants to tip the scale? Those left to rot, or treated like they're without a purpose are the ones that matter more than the ones who are noticed. The noticed are snobby, always taking, but not at all giving. So why, why is it that the unnoticed are left to die?~*~ The seven foot tall male was beaten by several magic users, the kind who hate demons. He was near death, and left to die by them. He was attacked by five, but only one managed to leave, the others' mangled corpses lying close by him, crimson staining the grass. His eyes were barely open, and he'd been unable to get up, but strong enough to at least stay awake. He gripped a window sill, and managed to pull himself up, pain shooting throughout his body. "Damnit.. I should'nt have left her alone.. They.. most likely.. are going to.. No.. I won't.. say anything.." [Meh, sorry if you've nothing to go with. Dinner, so I had to rush -_-... sorta.]

It was sad, really. A student teacher, a practicioner of one of the most complicated and precise crafts to ever exist, and a mage-class student, and here he was. Stuck outside some goddam village in a forest somewhere in... somewhere, all because he couldn't figure out the transporter network. Genius. Yep, that was him!
Onira, clad in a pair of khaki trousers, dark brown hiking boots, short-sleeve blue T-shirt and a loose khaki vest, found himself outside the village he had just been in. It was a small place, the kind that gave you the ability to say: "Cottage anyone?" Even so, it was a nice place, though it wasn't what he'd been looking for. Oh no, he'd been looking for something much more rare than a village.
But, he could still enjoy the scenery. The greens, vibrant, full of life. Almost enlightening how it was painted along the large lumber of old trees. Full of cracks, though like the golden-aged male would defend, those just made it distinguished. The difference was that with the trees it was actually true. Oh, and of course, the reds. Glistening in the plentiful sunlight that poored in through the tree tops. Wait... reds? He caught on pretty quick. There were no roses here...
"Oh damn..."
Off in the distance, almost straight east where the border of the village was, the student saw something. It was a very large thing, grabbing onto what in comparison looked to be a very flimsy wooden window-sill. Onira knew it would hold, though he wasn't so concerned about the house. He reacted quite quickly, blasting into a mad sprint. The flesh was a fair fifty metres away, though there was a job to be done, and the alchemist did not wish to dilly-dally. He moved with a speed that would have put some olympic athletes to shame.
When he arrived, he skidded to a stop with his right foot out front, clearing another two or three metres with the slide. It was now that he experienced the slightest bit of hesitation. There he saw a very large monster, and though he wanted to help heal it, he also wanted to keep his head. There were a few ideas that very quickly popped up, though the first batch seemed to be less than favourable on a pain scale (for either of them). Round 2 had some goodies, though. Speak to him. Let's hope the body count is at least equal to brain cells.
"Umm... yeah, I'm gonna heal you, but I need to make sure you won't kill me first, so..."

Eiki'd noticed someone running toward him, and, out of self defense, he placed his left hand on the hilt of his large, ten foot sword, and waited for them to come near. He was ready to strike them at any moment, but calmed once he'd heard what the person had said. He let go of his blade, and let his arm fall to his side, he was breathing rather heavily.
"Go.. ahead.."
That was all he could say. The mages were killed because they had attacked him first. The only possible way this guy would die, is if he decided to attack Eiki. He was still extremely weak, but a simple toss of his blade accross the guy's collar bone would kill him.

Onira gave a sigh of relief at the words. Even so, hesitation still posessed that small grip on him in the form of wanting to stay alive. In the end, he had to do a retake of the situation. The other wasn't exactly in the position to kill someone who had the ability to heal him. Still, that sword looked bloody big.
"Okay then. Well, I guess we have an understanding."
He was quick to move, understanding of the importance of the situation. Every millisecond was vital, as the body cared not of your reaction time. It had a deadline (quite literally) to meet, and it wasn't about to move it's schedule around for a simple alchemist. This boss is a bitch!
Those hands, tattooed as they always were along the palms, reached smoothly in unison, one quickly flipping open one of the breast pockets of the vest as the other reached in. The fingertips of the latter hand seemed to grab something unseen, a white-red glow almost instantly eminating brightly from the khaki pocket. It lasted for not even a full second before reducing to the source as abruptly as it came, though the unusual event seemed to make it last that much longer.
Onira slid his fingertips back out, though now inbetween them was held a glass vile with a cork jammed very tightly in the top. It was easy to see the vile was quite small and he glass very thick, all components making the small amount of red liquid inside seem even less. If one took the time to look at it closely, they may have noticed how the bottom seemed to be flat, where as normally it was rounded. The reason for this had disappeared in the flash.
He was quick to offer the large man (with the large sword) the concoction, giving basic instructions that one probably could have guessed from the start.
"You need to drink this. I'm sad to say my own abilities are limited, though this will bring you back to full health in the next five minutes." And increase your lifespan by a year or two.

Eiki took the bottle, and drank every drop of the liquid inside of it. After that, his hands relaxed, and the vial fell from his hands. "Thank you.." Eiki would say, letting himself slide to the ground, his vest pulling upward as he would go down. His back would show, now, but he'd not care. He shut his eyes, and his face was calm. He looked too peaceful to pass off as asleep, and his chest and stomach showed no hint of movement.

It was a surreal moment, for sure. Onira hadn't, for a while, been thanked. His more recent of days had been spent fairly negatively, though this moment seemed to be found as kind of... refreshing. It was nice. That was, until the giant died.
He was swift, noticing the slack expression and the chest that didn't move. He seemed to go quite limp, and all the signs pointed to what you read only a moment ago.
That's the OPPOSITE of what's supposed to happen! [Well, at least the cuts look better]
With his forefinger and middle finger he felt around the large man's (?) neck. He forced his finger tips into just under his jaw and shut his mind away from the world. All sounds seemed hollow, the darkness of his eyelids letting him focus.
He felt nothing.
"C'mon!"
He moved just the slightest with his hand, keeping himself as focused as he could. Total attention to his nerves.
Badump!
He gave a sigh of relief, falling back to his rear. A pulse. Good. It seemed the giant was just a bit of a light sleeper. Heheh.
Light sleeper... irony really is imaginitive.
(OOC: Sorry. I didn't mean to keep you waiting. I've been having a series (of unfortunate events? Kinda.) of RL problems, but it's all good now!
