That was the longest kiss of Phoebe's life and if you asked the girl she would have said no kiss was long enough when it was with Xeryth. But the smile she saw cross his face was more than rewarding in anyone's mind. He could definatly have committed murder and with that face the world would have thought him an angel. Phoebe smiled her own bright smile.
Xeryth's hand in her hair sent shivers down her spine. It was perfect ... everything with Xeryth and herself. She did not intend to leave this room for sometime. All she wanted to do in the vast world was be with Xeryth right here in this room.
"Do.. you have anything you would like to know about me Xeryth? I will answer anything. I want to learn everything about you."

Xeryth's eyes narrowed a bit, but his smile retained the greatest amount of its size as he looked deeply into Phoebe's eyes, his hand still in her hair, his other hand holding onto hers. She had asked him a strange question, one he couldn't honestly answer. Xeryth, due to his reclusive nature, had never been a very prying individual. He never bothered to ask people things about themselves, and would have no idea where to start even if he wanted to. It was kind of an awkward moment, and the look on his face, the apologetic smile, as his hand retracted from her head, instead propping himself up on his elbow.
"I... I'm sorry..." he began nervously. "I... I just don't know where I would start with something like that... not very good with asking questions... or talking to people about... stuff like this..."
He bit his lip, worried that she would not be happy with his answer. He wished there was more that he could do, but there just wasn't, at least in his eyes. He was lost on this subject, and had no choice but to be honest with her about it.

Phoebe thought hard about the answer he had given her. Truthfully she hadn't expected it to be such a hard thing to come up with. But Phoebe was a bit like Phae in the way that both never really let much get them down they both could always find a light in a dark situation and this was what Phoebe did now.
"Well then, I'll just have to tell you about myself then won't I." she said smiling over at him. She wished he hadn't taken his hand away but she wasn't going to say anything. She took a deep breath and smiled.
"I was born in Germany sixteen years ago and am the youngest of the twins. Phaedra is five minutes exactly older than me. My parents always told me I was shy straight from the start. And I guess it's still true today though you are much easier to talk to than any one except Phaedra and even she is hard sometimes."
She smiled at him and ran a gentle loving hand through his hair again letting him take in the information she was giving him.
"So at three we were both given our first practice blades and I really enjoyed swordplay. It's very structured which is something I like. Schedules and plans. So I excelled. Phaedrea got her magic about the age of ten and our uncle cultivated it and she was sent here but you already know that."
"I was upset. Not jealous really just felt a bit inadequate I suppose that I had no magical talent. I left to find a place where I belonged and I did. In Italy I was excepted into a swordsman academy and there I learned even more arts with my rapier and I was doing well there. That was until my power awoke recently when I needed my sword during sparing and I levitated it to me. Then the academy came for me. They said that some powers wake sooner than others and that I had been accepted. So I packed up quickly and I came."
She smiled over at Xeryth her eyes were bright shinning pools of happiness. Almost remminescent of what Phae's had looked like before the tragedy. But these eyes were definatly not Phae's they were Phoebe's. Her own refined and shy self.
"So, well.. that's really a cliff notes version but it's more than you knew." she said with a sweet smile.

Xeryth listened intently, nodding quietly at the appropriate points as Phoebe explained, in the quickest version possible, her life story up to this point. As she spoke, his smile became wider and wider, simultaneously interested and pleased at everything she had to say. It was amazing, to hear of how her powers bloomed so late in life, and he commented on it when she was done.
"My... my powers... I was told... had manifested themselves at birth for me... I was throwing all of the doctor's tools around the room," he said, quietly but amused, giggling a bit after he finished. "It's... it's good to see that yours finally decided to show up... and such difference than your sisters, too. Apparently..." Xeryth grinned mischievously, "apparently... you don't need magic to enhance your sword-fighting abilities."
Since Xeryth had already basically alluded to his own past, and Phoebe had more of less given him hers, he decided to return the favor. "Like I said... I was kept away for most of my life. D-13's Psy-Controller agency. They recognized my... formidable psychic power, saying that my potential was.... near limitless. They trained me night and day in how to focus and harness my powers... but mostly how to keep my focus, and retain a state of... separation between my mind and my emotions. It... helps to utilize my powers despite if I'm mad, or sad, or extremely happy. Either way... like I told you, I was rescued from what my rescuer called 'captivity and slavery to a fruitless cause', and came here. D-13... they... they contacted me before... they want me back... but they are powerless while I'm under Arcane Academy's protection. It's..."
Xeryth paused a bit, awkwardly gulping and trying to explain his position.
"It shouldn't be a problem... Director Lancaster... he's... not a bad man, he's friends with the Headmaster here... it's just something I have to keep in the back of my mind... I suppose..."
Xeryth's face looked troubled, but not altogether frightened, at the thoughts. His eyes met Phoebe's for a moment, but then wandered up to the window and ceiling, becoming slightly lost in his thoughts on his own life, and where it would take him in the future.

Phoebe listened as Xeryth spoke taking in every bit of information she could. She was very interested in his life before they had met and she even smiled when he made the slight at Phaedra and her magic. He was right. Phoebe's magic didn't have to move through her blade though she could use them both together with not too much strain.
But she saw the look in his eyes right before he began to stare at the ceiling. She moved closer to him at this time letting go of his hand she moved so her body was right next to him touching the length of his with the length of hers. Yes, it was a very bold move but Phoebe felt that it would be okay and Xeryth looked like he needed comfort and at this moment she would do anything to comfort her boyfriend.
The first thing she did in this new position was kiss his cheek ever so lightly before she lay her head down softly on the spot right between his shoulder and his arm. That certain spot that seemed to be made just for someone else's head to fit in. She lay one hand on Xeryth's chest before she spoke. Her words soft and full of sincerity.
"Xeryth, they will never take you away from me. I will fight with everything I have to keep you here and happy and safe. I know that others would fight for you too. Phaedra and Junpei. And I'm sure even others including some of the staff would fight for you like there was nothing else to live for. You have my blade and my powers should the need ever arise."
She began to move the thumb of her left hand that was on Xeryth's chest back and forth slowly and lightly as if to offer him even more comfort. She was trying everything she could to comfort him.
"I think you are safe." she whispered. "And I think you are amazing."

Xeryth was lost in thought, yes, but was quickly brought back to reality by the feeling of Phoebe's body closer to his own, her comforting touch and kiss bringing a silly smile back to his face. Gone was that introspective Xeryth that tended to reveal himself only when alone, and replaced was the usual shy, goofy boy that most of the world sees. As Phoebe's hand went to Xeryth's chest, his own left hand came up from the other side of his body, covering Phoebe's hand and taking her four primary fingers, holding on gently, while she spoke of who would all stand up for him, would the organization he once trained under try to take him back. He leaned his own head upon hers as she spoke her last words.
~"I think you are safe. And I think you are amazing."~
Xeryth blushed a deep red, smiling meekly. He replied softly and quietly, and as haltingly as ever. "Your... your sacrifice is... noble, Phoebe... but I couldn't take it. My issues with D-13... are mine alone... they are my burden to bear. I.... I'm sure it's just paranoia on my part, though... it's been a while now, and I've... little to no contact with them. D-13 works side-by-side with Arcane, for the most part... it... just wouldn't be a very good move... politically speaking... to kidnap one of their students. You're right, Phoebe... I am safe..."
His eyes looked down, a bit nervously, before returning back to their original state. "Although... amazing... I would not go that far..." He laughed softly and nervously, before closing his eyes, and simply enjoying the warmth of Phoebe... his girlfriend, Phoebe, up next to him.

Phoebe smiled at his touch. His own soft hand coming up to touch hers and hold in there on his chest. He didn't seem at all nervous that she had moved so they were touching everywhere and for that she was glad. She listened as the boy explained he didn't think he would need the help but her offer would always stand in her own mind.
But oh! When he said he wasn't amazing well now that's where a shy and timid girl must draw the line. You see little Phoebe here doesn't had out compliments if they aren't completly heart felt and true in her own mind. She's more a girl that thinks before she speaks.
"I think you are." she whispered barely audible. Her own eyes slid closed as she lay next to Xeryth warm against him. She mentally adjusted the blanket that was still over them letting it retuck around them as they had moved quite a bit since the night before. Poor Xeryth probably wouldn't know what to think now that the blanket and magically shifted to cover them better.

".... thank you. I think... I think you're wonderful..." Xeryth smiled, but suddenly let out an audible gasp as the blanket, scoffed about from all their movement, suddenly came up and tucked them back in together. The gasp was replaced by a wry smile. Xeryth was impressed with Phoebe's little display of her talents, and said so.
"That... hehe... nice trick, Phoebe," he said softly. "However..."
Xeryth waved a hand, underneath the cover, and the entire thing rose directly up, hovering above the two and leaving them without its warmth for the moment. Reassuring her, he gave her hand a squeeze, as if to say 'Don't worry.'
"As much as I'd love to sit here... all day, really..." Xeryth was interrupted by a groaning in his stomach. He grinned bashfully, and continued. "...I'm getting kinda hungry... as you can tell."
He shrugged his free shoulder, looking a bit ashamed at his own natural hunger.
"Shall we... go find something to eat, perhaps...?"

Phoebe blushed at the compliment he had given her she didn't feel wonderful she felt normal but she wasn't going to turn down the compliment either. She saw the blanket go up and her eyes lit up as she looked over at Xeryth knowing he was the one that had done it. She smiled big and turned her eyes back to the blanket where she took control and folded it up neatly placing it over the back of the desk chair to be used later. She turned and looked at Xeryth and giggled.
"I think we'll work well together." she said with a goofy grin of happiness.
She got up from the comforting warmth of Xeryth and smiled back at him as she smoothed down her clothes. She smiled over at him she just loved how it felt to not only have Xeryth around but to have the word boyfriend rolling around in her head as she thought about him.
"I'm a bit hungry myself having not eaten since breakfast yesterday." she said with a shrug. "With traveling and then Phaedra. And then you. I was a bit busy."
She crossed the room and picked up her rapier strapping it on loosley over her hip before slipping on her shoes again. She pushed her hair back behind her ears and smiled at Xeryth.
"Well, I'm ready." she smiled brightly.

Xeryth grinned as she folded up the bedsheets telekinetically. That definitely is one way to do it, he thought to himself laughingly. He got up from the bed, just after she did, and she quickly got ready, rather amazingly quickly for a girl, however, Xeryth, having no point of relativity for this, wouldn't have the slightest clue. She announced her hunger, and her readiness, and Xeryth held up his index, a signal for 'one moment' before voicing aloud his need for wait.
"Yes, just a moment, I'll be ready myself..."
Turning, he reached for his closet, opening the doors to reveal several other long-sleeved shirts in various dark shades: Blacks and greys, almost exclusively. Reaching for the hem of the shirt he was currently wearing, Xeryth, with one quick bashful look at Phoebe over his shoulder, quickly pulled it off, showing his small, rather frail-looking body to the outside world, as well as his golden and black bracer upon his right arm, extending acros his entire forearm. Xeryth reached into the closet and grabbed one of the lighter grey shirts, putting it on in stead of the darker one he had just thrown off. With a flick of his wrist, the discarded shirt hovered in the air a moment, then was thrown into his dirty-clothes hamper across the room. Turning to Phoebe, Xeryth nodded and smiled good-humoredly.
"Okay... let's go find something to eat..."
