(I'm playing an NPC of my sister in this thread so fair warning)
Phoebe walked beside Xeryth as he was leading her to his dorm room. She had come unannounced and since JUNPEI, blasted Junpei had taken her sister to his room and sealed the door shut. Phae had told Xeryth somehow that she would find her when she could and Phoebe wasn't planning to leave unti that happened.
Xeryth was kind enough to let her come hang out with him in his room and truth was she was happy he had. She didn't want to be alone she was too worried about her sister. And she enjoyed the shy quiet boys company. Heck she hadn't let go of his hand in about an hour and hadn't intended to yet. She wasn't one of those girls that just held someone's hand for the heck of it. She had taken and instant liking to him and she hoped he liked him back.
Her eyes continued to travel over to him. He was a bit younger than her she thought but he didn't seem that much younger really. Maybe a year or two. She was exactly the kind of boy one could be attracted to easily. And if Phae considered him a friend then that testified to his personality.
"Thank you for inviting me to your room." she said in her quiet and shy voice offering him a sweet gently smile.

Once they were safely in the room, Xeryth, with a wave of his hand, closed the door telekinetically. The problem with this, however, was that it, in effect, doused the room in darkness, for Xeryth, in his shyness, had forgotten to even turn on his reading lamps, much less his room lights. An embarrassed, slightly frustrated, sigh left Xeryth's lips, unseen in the dark, followed by some quiet words.
"Um... excuse me... I'll fix that..."
Xeryth didn't even need to close his eyes this time. The room suddenly brightened, but in shades of greys and white, as Xeryth entered Mind's Eye View. Knowing his room very well, he could clearly see his desk lamp, and mentally flipped the switch, awashing the room in a dim, almost ambient glow. This was what Xeryth preferred, as he was gradually weaning himself away from the sheer darkness with which he spent most of his former days.
"If you are not... comfortable with this light... I can turn on another..." he said quietly. "However... if this is acceptable, then please... have a seat... I hope I can... can... can make things as easy... as easy to deal with as possible... in light of... of... of recent events," he finally got all the words out, and smiled shyly to her in the dim room, moving to the bed to lay down. The boy was exhausted, physically and mentally. However, with his rather small frame, the entirety of the bed was not taken up, leaving much room left for Phoebe to sit if she wished.

((I'll take over now, sis. Thank you))
Phoebe heard the door shut behind her and the room was suddenly dark. She felt a bit awkward to say the least standing in a pitch black room she was still holding Xeryth's gentle hand in her own. She blushed at the thought and heard him speak.
"Don't .. don't feel bad." she told him in her sweet innocent voice it was light and melodic very different from Phae's.
She waited but Xeryth didn't move. She wondered what exactly was going to happen he wasn't moving to turn on a light at all and then suddenly the cute boy still standing next to her a light on the desk came on. It washed the room in a gentle glow and she smiled over at Xeryth only to see him smiling at her. She let go of his hand as he went and lay down on the bed.
"No..really. It's nice that it's dim.. in here." she said unsure of whether to sit on the bed or in the desk chair. "I-It's relaxing."
Normally not a stutterer she felt a bit self conscious as she did so because she was nervous. Why? Well that was obvious it was the cute boy that had taken her affections so quickly. She bit her lower lip nervously and moved over to the bed. She took her sword off her belt and leaned it against the wall so she could sit on the edge of the bed.
She carefully sat down tucking her red hair behind her ear nervously. She was rather tired and the bed did look rather inviting. She lay down next to Xeryth her hands placed on her stomach. She slid off her shoes so she wouldn't get the bed dirty. She turned her head to look at Xeryth.
"You.. look tired. P... Perhaps we could get some rest?" she offered her own blue eyes looking up into Xeryth's own pale blue ones.
Okay... I'm in a bed... with a boy I just met... whose really really cute!

Xeryth laid there, listening to the girl speak, a tiny smile on his face as she began to falter herself.
What, is my stutter contagious? he joked to himself, a wry grin appearing on his face. Such jokes were not uncommon to the boy, but never, EVER were they said out loud, for fear of the recipient not finding the jest as humorous as he did.
Suddenly, however, Xeryth's hand felt cold, and once again, he was acutely aware that the girl had been holding delicately onto it for the greater part of the hour, since the hospital incident. Xeryth started to blush a crimson color, unsure of what exactly to make of all of it. This 'girl' thing was SUCH a new advancement for him, and he wasn't entirely sure quite how to decipher the feelings he had when he looked and thought about Phoebe.
She makes me feel... warm. And happy. Content, and even more silly than usual in her presence... it's nothing like when I'm around Junpei, or even Phaedra... it's different... but nice.
Xeryth's thoughts were suddenly shattered, however, as Phoebe went from sitting on the bed, which was still well within Xeryth's comfort zone, to laying next to him, her bright blue eyes staring into his. Xeryth began to tremble visibly in nervousness, and a little bit of fright, he had never been this close to a living person, ever, much less a girl as pretty as Phoebe!
"R-r-r-r-r-r-r-r..."
Xeryth struggled fiercely to get the words to come out of his mouth, his cheeks a livid red and his entire body shaking lightly, but noticably.
"R-rest? Um, well... yes, I am... uh...uh... t-t-tired... b-b-b... I wouldn't.... impose on... y-y-you... if you... were... not?"
Xeryth's train of thought had completely derailed by the end of that sentence, and in the end of it all, he wasn't even sure himself what he was trying to convey to Phoebe. He could offer no excuse, no explanation, however, all he could do now was sit and tremble, looking into Phoebe's eyes, somehow completely incapable of removing his gaze from them.

Phoebe watched his beautiful eyes but she saw him tremble and heard how his stutter seemed to become even worse. Oh no... she had made him nervous. She somehow was a bit lost in the pastel azure eyes that seemed to captivate her in a way that nothing else had ever before. She swallowed.
"I.. I am a bit tired truthfully. I came to begin attending the academy today but then with Phaedra.. well I kinda had to put the news on hold." she said her eyes never leaving Xeryth's this entire time. She bit her lower lip and a slight blush crossed her features.
"If.. if I make you uncomfortable I can go try to find my own dorm. I enjoy your company Xeryth." she said and her blush deepened to a red crossing her pale porcelin features.
She wanted so badly to reach out and take his hand in her own once more. Her own had grown cold over the last few minutes without the comforting warmth of Xeryth's hand. But the way he was trembling it would likely give him a heart attack and the last thing she wanted to do was kill him.
"Should I go?" she asked. "Or maybe move?"

Xeryth's eyes went wide as she mentioned that she would be staying here at Arcane. This was a very interesting turn of events, as Xeryth thought at first that the girl was just here to see her sister. In fact, it brought a little smile to his face, seeming to calm his nerves somewhat. Why this was, he was not quite sure, but considering how jumpy he was acting, he took any alleviation of his nervousness as a welcome gift. However, her next words, asking him if she'd like him to leave, suddenly got his nervousness back up again.
Oh no! I'm driving her away! I don't want that! ...wait, why not, I'm scared to death of this girl! Well... either way, I don't think I want her to go... how strange...
While Xeryth's mind contemplated the complexity of the situation, his mouth breathed in and out, lessening his nerves and allowing him to speak, if only for a moment, at his usual level of stuttering.
"Oh... oh no... you're quite fine, Phoebe. I was just... surprised. Surprised... but... not... not uncomfortable..."
As he said this, he smiled weakly, trying to convince her that nothing was wrong. As it were, though, he wasn't entirely sure what was wrong or right, or even what was up or down. Xeryth's mind was all over the place, and that was definitely not a good thing for a psychic. He fought desperately to keep his mind in check, but his hand, seemingly completely of its own will, moved closer to Phoebe, halving the distance between them as it landed somewhere in the middle of their two bodies. His eyes looked down at it for only the briefest of seconds before looking back up into the eyes of this interesting new girl.

Phoebe couldn't take her eyes off the beautiful azure depths that were Xeryth's own windows of the soul. His own soul was so innocent and pure. She longed for his touch again his hand just a smile anything really to show her that he was enjoying her company as well.
She smiled at his words. It was good he didn't want her to leave because truth to tell she didn't really want to leave. She wanted to stay with Xeryth for a while longer. She saw him smile and her own grew bigger. She looked down when his eyes did and she saw that his hand had moved between them. She blushed as her own hand moved over and took his in hers. She rose her eyes to look back at him.
"I'm glad I met you Xeryth." she whispered in a blush. "Shall we sleep now?" she asked her eye lids were heavy but she wouldn't sleep unless he did and she definatly didn't plan on letting go of his hand.
I think... I think I have a crush on him. She thought to herself with a gentle smile.

Xeryth felt the fingers touch his, interlacing between the two as the hands grasped together. Again, Xeryth felt his hand working despite himself, taking Phoebe's hand gently as she reached for his, smiling nervously as he looked down at the hands together, blinking a few times to make sure he was seeing this correctly.
I'm... holding hands with a girl?
Xeryth's nervous smile suddenly looked a little goofy as he amused himself with his thought. Something that was so natural and normal for boys and girls to do, was something that Xeryth had neither done, nor expected to do in his lifetime. A foolish thought, but Xeryth had never been one to know quite where his life would lead him, with as big of a change as he'd had to undergo during it.
She asked if he was ready to sleep, and his smile relaxed, looking a bit nervous, but not a little content as well. He nodded, and his eyes fluttered a bit before closing fully, his shakes starting to relax as the events of the day caused fatigue to overtake him, and he began to drift off to sleep...

Phoebe watched the cute... and handsome boy next to her smile and then his face relax as he began to fall asleep. She saw how sweet he looked with his face relaxed and so innocent. It was now that her heart seemed to grow exponentially as she watched his body relax and his shaking stop.
She reached over with her free hand and moved his hair out of his face. Her finger tip barely grazing his forehead as she did so. She settled back into her place smiling. She looked down and saw a blanket at the end of the bed and smiled.
Using her powers the blanket levitated and unfolded in the air before settleing gently of the pair. Phobe turned on her side slightly facing Xeryth and her heavy eye lids finally slid closed as she fell into a deep sleep her own features relaxed her hand still holding his.

Xeryth simply slept on, too tired to be aware of anything else going on at the moment, even Phobe's use of telekinesis to drape the blankets across him. It was a wonderful trick, and one Xeryth would have loved, but alas, he did not even know the girl was telekinetic, and wouldn't know at this moment, just yet. At this moment, the boy was sleeping soundly, moving a little bit instinctively at having his face touched, but not awakening.
Phoebe's eyes closed and she began to sleep as well. Xeryth, mid-sleep, without even realizing it, reached out with his free hand, draping it across Phoebe's body. It didn't stop there, however, as he pulled her closer to him, moving in himself as he did so since the boy's physical strength was sorely lacking. Seeing as Phoebe was obviously not a weighty girl, the extent of this lacking strength was evident. He would not even know he'd done this, even. Perhaps he felt the girl's body heat and subconsciously just wanted to be closer to that, due to the relative coldness in the room, or perhaps he was simply driven to the girl herself. He wouldn't know the answer; Xeryth wouldn't even know he'd done the deed.
Until he woke up, of course.

Phoebe too fell into a deep sleep and perhaps it was subconsciously that she felt herself being drawn into him. Or it could have been the comforting warmth that the boy was offering her sleeping next to her but she too placed an arm around him gently.
Phoebe sleeping on her side cuddled up into the warmth that was Xeryth and the comfort his presence offered her. She lay her head a few inches from his own and facing his own face. Their original hand still holding his now her arms draped across his sleeping body and their legs touching slightly as she slept peacefully.
She smiled gently in her sleep but slept on peacefully and quietly both of them holding each other and neither of them knowing it.

The two slept together happily for some time, each quietly laying there in each others arms. Hours passed, and the couple, completely exhausted from fatigue, and nothing but the first signs of morning light, streaming through Xeryth's window, left uncurtained in his sleepiness as well as his nervousness, hitting the boy's face, causing him to begin to wake, his eyes quickly blinking open and closed, removing the sleep gunk that obscured his vision, and found Phoebe, wrapped up in his arms, her face maybe an inch from his.
Xeryth's eyes went wide in surprise, however, he said nothing, and did nothing. Phoebe was still sound asleep, the light passing right over her and not causing her to wake, just yet. A comical scene thus ensued as Xeryth simply laid there, unmoving, wondering how he got to be this close to Phoebe, yet doing nothing for fear of waking the girl, who was sleeping so serenely that Xeryth did not wish to wake her. Plus, Xeryth thought to himself, this was actually kind of nice. Phoebe was warm, and cozy, and not to mention...
Beautiful...
A smile crossed Xeryth's face as he closed his eyes again, no longer sleeping, just enjoying the moment, wondering offhandedly when Phoebe would awaken as well.

It had to be about ten minutes later when Phoebe finally stirred slightly. She reached up a had and rubbed the sleep from her eyes before returning it to where it had been... a warm... very soft place. She opened her eyes and saw Xeryth bathed in the morning light and she smiled. She didn't move because for all she knew he was still asleep.
She looked down and saw how his hand too was wrapped around her and how his face was maybe... maybe an inch away. So peaceful and serene she didn't move. She just stared at Xeryth. He was sweet and kind. She was definatly falling for the boy she knew so little about she could feel it.
She wondered what would happen if she closed that gap. The one between them. They were already in each others arms would it be that bad to kiss him. Her heart was pounding as she stared at the beautiful boy next to her his relaxed features were so innocent and genuine. She bit her lower lip in nervousness. What if he ran? What if she never saw him again? She would hate that.
She swallowed her heart and put it back in it's place as she moved closer and put her lips gently on his. It lingered for only a moment thier lips touching and the sensations rampaging her body with that single touch. Her very first kiss and it was with a boy she had spent the night with. She pulled back and opened her eyes slowly blushing madly.

Xeryth laid there, quietly, trying to get back to sleep so as not to rouse Phoebe from her own slumber. When Phoebe began to stir, however, Xeryth continued to remain motionless, unsure as to whether she had awakened, or was just fidgeting in her sleep.
Then her lips suddenly met his in the soft light of morning.
Xeryth's eyes shot open, meeting with Phoebe's in wide-eyed surprise and more than little shock and fright. He didn't move for the longest time, just watching her, his face red and his usual bashful smile on his face. In effect, the boy was simply completely overcome by this latest action. He simply did not know what to do. All he could do was sit there, wide-eyed with a stupid grin on his face, and look at Phoebe.
He blinked, once, twice, three times. Finally, his smile warmed up, going from goofy, to almost tender. He leaned in himself, returning the kiss Phoebe gave him with one of his own. He had no idea what he was doing, but it somehow... just felt right. He was smiling from ear to ear in his mind, but his mouth, for this moment, had other things to do.

Oh no! She had done something wrong. The kiss it was too much. She had known it was and now she was certain. There was Xeryth his beautiful pale blue eyes that captivated her very soul staring at her in surprise and perhaps fear. She bit her lower lip looking at him as a smile was on his face...maybe it wasn't so wrong?? She let her lip go and was about to say something when...
Oh...oh my. This time it was him that kissed her and her heart swelled. His gentle lips touched her own in a sweet and caring kiss. This was even better than the last. Because to her this meant more than just a kiss. This meant that he liked her back. She had taken a risk.. a chance if you will to kiss him and here he was kissing her back as if to tell her that he liked her too. She was trying not to smile. In her mind her heart and her soul she was not only smiling she was elated that here she was with Xeryth and he liked her. She pulled back gently and opened her eyes. Her hand moving up from his waist to his cheek as she brushed it gently with the back of her hand.
"Good morning Xeryth." she whispered in her slight and quiet voice. Her heart pounded in her chest. A huge sweet smile crossed her face as she looked directly in his eyes.
