Runaway Dragon (Seig)

[Sieg]

"Well thank you," he said with a smile, "I'm sure your power is easily more impressive then mine," he said with a grin as he watched Kei open her eyes and stare annoyedly up at the mini Atticus. He watched with a curious smile as a jet of cold fire puffed out of her mouth and froze the statue in place. He scratched her head reassuringly.

"I take it she likes attention just not the unwanted kind," he said with a soft laugh. "What would you like to know Fiona?" he asked leaning forward a little with a smile on his face. Looking into those eyes of hers he'd probably tell her anything she wanted.

[Fi]

She smiled at him as he watched Kei's reaction to the annoying little Atticus on her head. Fiona couldn't help but smile. Kei was purring in her mind and it was cute in her mind. Many times Kei acted just like a cat and many times she acted nothing at all like one.

"Well, what about where you are from, what you like to do, how life is here at the academy for starters?" she asked leaning forward more.

Now her elbow bent being supported by her knee as she let her chin in her hand comfortably looking at him. She liked the way he seemed to be comfortable with her and she was comfortable with him as well.

"I'll start how about that." she said with a bright smile and a wink. "I'm orginally from Ireland but moved to Babylos at twelve. I've lived there since. Recently transfered here so I have no idea what life is like here. For hobbies.. I paint, read, and practice my magic."

[Sieg]

He tapped his chin thoughtfully while she talked. He was listening but at the same time was preparing his own response. She had lived in Babylos since she was twelve, that had to be fun living in a magic city for that long. Sieg was currently lost in her beautiful lavendar eyes, he heard her talking and the words registered but he just couldn't seem to concentrate as he stared into those lovely eyes of hers. Sieg shook his head a little as he snapped himself out of his trance and smiled.

"Let's see I lived in Germany for the first seven years of my life and then I moved to America. My father died when we arrived in America and then my mother died shortly before I decided to come here. I haven't been in the Academy or Babylos for that long and I'm still adjusting, it's incredible to be around so many fantastic people and interesting magic," he said with a smile as he continued to stroke Kei admiringly, "Kei for example is breathtaking and she's already given me some ideas for inventions," he said with a grin, he was sure the dragon, if she could understand english, would appreciate that.

His story touched her in a way. The death of his parents. She knew all too well about the death of a family member and she softened her expression a little. She stood slowly and suddenly thankful for the large chairs she had ordered for her room she sat on the edge of his chair next to him.

She took his hand gently and smiled up at him softly.

"I know how it feels to lose someone close like a family member. My brother died not too long ago and it was very hard on me." she said softly the pain in her eyes only for a moment before she brightened again a blush crossing her face as she pulled her hand away not wanting to be too forward.

"I'll give you a little more history on myself then. Born and raised in Dublin for a long time until my powers awoke one day when I was at school. Other children saw me and word got out. To put it nicely we were run out of the city. That's why we moved to Babylos. My brother died of a disease in his sleep that no one ever knew about until that day and I've been studying my magic for a while now. But I'm very happy to be here. Because not only do I get to further my magical knowledge but I also can meet people.. like you." she said with a bright smile and a giggle.

[Sieg]

Sieg smiled as sat down beside him and took his hand in hers. He smiled warmly as she told him she knew what it was like to lose a person close to her. Sieg was glad she was willing to open to him and tell him about her brother even though it was clearly a painful subject. He took her hand in his as she started to pull it away with a grin.

"I'm glad you were willing to share that story about your brother. I know how painful it can be to talk about a loved one's death," he said with a smile, squeezing her hand gently with a sigh.

Sieg smiled she was so nice and had shared her painful story about about her past. He figured the least he could do was share his own. He knew what it was like to be an outcast except instead of being run out he was taken advantage of.

"Well I lived in Germany until I was seven. Then we had to move because my father, he was involved in a crime ring. He was a good man but he did some things in his past that caught up to him and forced us to move. But when we got there...they were waiting, he was shot four times and died on the dock after taking his first step onto American soil. He was so happy because he thought his life was going to start again. My mom she was scared, she...told the crime boss where we were landing in exchange for their assurance that they would leave us alone. After that I fell in with a bad crowd, I didn't really care much because they liked me and my inventions. But they used my inventions to rob a grocery store and kill the clerk....it was the grocery store my mom owned," he said with a sad heavy sigh but still a smile on his face, "That's in the past though I consider coming here to be the beginning of a new life, especially since I get to meet such nice people like you," he said with a smile.

She had to admit she was shocked when he had taken her hand a bit more firmly once she tried to pull away. He even squeezed it gently and she blushed and smiled deciding instead of sitting on the edge to move into the chair with him more so she sat next to him.

"Well, I'm glad I met you too." she said softly as she smield and even blushed a little unused to such attention.

"So, how long have you been here?" she asked looking up at him. Her lavender eyes looking into his own beautiful gaze causing her to blush. She had never blushed in her life and now she couldn't stop. She was the girl that jumped up and volunteered for everything but now.. this boy could make her blush in a moment.

[Sieg]

Sieg tried to talk but when her gaze met his own he found himself unable to speak. He spent several seconds just staring into her beautiful violet eyes. Suddenly he realized that he had just spent at least a few minutes simply staring into her eyes. He shook his head a little, snapping himself out of his reverie as he grinned sheepishly.

"Sorry I uh...it's just you're eyes are so beautiful," he said with a smile, blushing faintly. What was her question again...he had forgotten it after he got lost in those beautiful eyes of hers. Ah, think Sieg don't make yourself look dumb, of all the times to be self-concious now was the best, "Right how long have I been here," he said with a sheepish chuckle, "Not very long actually just over a week or so," he said with a grin.

Was he staring at her? She swallowed lost in his own gaze as she looked wondering what was going on. She didn't know what was happening or how long had passed. When he finally broke the spell she blushed deeply and nodded.

But her eyes looked up once more when he said her eyes were beautiful. She blushed even deeper and smiled.

"Thank you." she said softly.

"So.. have you been out in the city yet?" she asked looking deep into his eyes once more a smile on her lips.

[Sieg]

He smiled softly as she looked back into her eyes. Okay, now don't get lost in those beautiful eyes now, stay on your toes Sieg. Had he been out in the city before? No actually come to think of it in the week he had been here Sieg had yet been outside of the Academy.

"No I haven't I actually have yet to step outside of the Academy," he admitted with a grin, "What's the city like?" he asked with an interested grin, he was wondering how much inspiration he could get from the city. Seeing all those unique forms of magic and their applications in action, not to mention the magical creatures...it would be a veritable treasure trove of inspiration.

[Fi]

She smiled brightly at him as he told her he had never been to the city before. She chuckled and squeezed his hand gently before almost bouncing in her seat.

"Well how about you get changed so you aren't so...sooty.. and I'll show you around!" she said with a bright smile.

She was very happy and very excited. She still held Seig's hand gently in hers and wondered if he would want to go. She would love to show him around the city she definatly loved.

"We can eat somewhere. Go see a movie or there's a museum, there's shopping and all kinds of things. What would you like to do?"

[Sieg]

He smiled brightly and stood up almost immediately. Sieg almost laughed, a trip to the city, aw that sounded like so much fun. He wanted to run out of the room right now and get changed but he held himself back until he could politely excuse himself to get dressed in something more suitable.

"You'd really show me around the city, that'd be great?" he said with a grin as he hugged her gently, "I don't really care what we do, I'm just excited to walk around a magical city," he said with a chuckle, "I'll go get changed now.." he said as he started for the door.

[Fi]

She blushed at the hug but she hugged him anyway. She stood up and smiled at him as she walked him to the door Kei already curled up in the warm spot that they had created from sitting there together.

"See you soon then. Come get me when you are ready." she said happily and leaned over kissing his cheek before giving him a blushing wave.

Once the door was closed she went into frantic mode. First she squealed happily and jumped up and down. Was this a date? She had no idea but regardless it was going to be awesome to hang out with Seig. She could unpack later.

She went to her closet and smiled. Some of her clothes had been unpacked for her by her parents and she decided to change a bit. Picking out a pair of dark blue jeans and a white sweater that hugged her curves she dressed quickly. She combed her hair and left the red silken strands down and she slipped on some boots and waited. Nervously. Fiddling with the silver heart bracelet on her right wrist that she had just decided to put on.

Sieg made his way back to his room before collapsing on his bed with a happy sigh. He just met the most amazing girl and now he was going out to the city with her. A date, it could be, he hoped she wanted to see it that way. Would that affect the way he should dress...nah Sieg would dress in something comfortable like he always did. He sighed and stood up, Atticus was in the corner resting and he knew of course that he would be know good at picking out an outfit or anything.

"God, I've never been this flustered by a girl that I couldn't even pick out what to wear," he said with a grin, shaking his head as he decided on a plain black t-shirt and jeans, he wore a denim jacket over the t-shirt, his goggles rested down around his neck lazily. He made his way back down the hall to her room and knocked lightly on the door, "Fiona...are you ready?" he asked, not wanting to rush or anything.

[Fi]

She supposed that when you changed your clothes and were so nervous your stomach was a mess of butterflies that going out with someone on the city might seem like a date. But for her she wasn't sure. He had been here for a week already and could possibly be dating someone else and if that were the case perhaps Seig would make a great friend. It helped that their dorm rooms were so close together.

She heard the knock and her heart jumped skipping a beat. She turned to Kei who snorted in laughter at her nervousness and stay curled up on the bed apparently intending to stay where she was. Fiona stood and smoothed the sweater down over her waist nervously as she walked to the door and her pale hand turned the knob.

She blushed when the door opened hoping she looked okay because Seig sure looked nice. The sweater was tight on her figure but not suggestively so. She looked over Seig and smiled shutting the door behind her having already put her money in her pocket.

"Yeah, I'm ready." she said with a bright smile as she stepped up to him blushing. Why was she blushing so much? She felt like a right fool about now.

[Sieg]

Sieg smiled nervously as she opened the door and stepped up to him. God she was beautiful, that body, the deep violet eyes, her voice, she was just breathtaking. He looked down her with a grin, so she had decided to change for their little outing, that could only mean she had been thinking the same as he had.

"Ready for our little date?" he asked with a grin as he offered his arm to her, "I'm really excited to go see the city," he admitted with a sheepish grin. He didn't know why but around her everything he did or said felt foolish as if she were on some higher pedestal than him. Sieg tried not to let it show though, he preferred to remain cheery and carefree, it was easier to deal with problems if one had a positive outlook from the beginning, "You look great by the way," he said with a grin as they started off.
