It was four days after Jyo had died. Though now someone was in his dorm room. Someone who looked alot like Jyo. In fact it was Jyo. The young man sat up slowly and opened his eyes. I'm alive?...... But how. I remeber the attacks. The wounds and drifting o the botom of the ocean. That was no dream. He thought as he rubbed his hands over his face and felt Ember's collar. He looked at it with surprise. Mabey It was a dream. He thought getting up and setting Ember's collar down. He walked over to a mirror than gasped.
His reflection showed himself mostly as he remembered. But there were differences. His eyes now were glowing white and he had a pair of white wings on his back. He found he could control the wings and was shocked. What is this? Did I really die. What happened? He thought. He then clutched his head and fell to his knees screaming in pain so loudly he wouldn't be surprised if the entire Academy heard it. All the memories flooded back. His final moments of life and his time in limbo speaing with the spirit of death and the deal that had been made. Jyo knew all to well what was going on now. He didn't think he could cope with it though.

Talbot sighed softly, "Mikon? Mikon, this isn't funny!"
The elemental mouse chittered and fluttered to the closest door. Talbot flinched as she heard it- a scream so heart wrenching and painful, her insides knotted and her heart ached.
Mikon chittered from the door of the familiar male he had met long ago- when his ward still remembered who and what she was. Talbot put her hands on the door and shivered, the room echoed the agony and she rested her hand on the cool nob. Slowly turning it, she door opened to allow light into the room. Her voice was soft as blind eyes stayed out infront of her, "Hello? Are you alright? I heard a scream."

Jyo eventually stopped and collapsed onto the floor in pain. He then heard his door open and a voice that he had not heard since before falling into his coma much less before dying. He looked up to see Talbot with her summon Mikon. He weakly got to his hands and knees. "Talbot. It's Jyo. Please... Please help me up." He said. he was still in too mucb pain to do anything but try and stay awake. All his memories from his past life were flooding back. And it seemed as though eh could feel all the unjiuries sustained during combat

Though she did not recognize the name, Talbot stepped foreward unsurely for he knew her and sounded in pain. Mikon grabbed a lock of Talbot's hair and led her to where Jyo was. Blind eyes stared at him, careful hands reached out and touched his face. Shivering- she could feel an intense agony, the pain was almost more than she could bear. Closing her eyes, she whistled sharply- casting healing wind.

Jyo didn't gain any relife from the healing spell. Not physically at least. Though he did stop shivering. He now had someone with him. Someone he knew as well. "Talbot...." He said and looked up seeing a pair of white eyes. He could tell she was blind. "Talbot... What happend to you?" He asked.

Talbot's hands moved away- physically he had simply been stressed, mentally is where all his agony had been. Sitting on her calves, Talbot tilted her head to the side. There was such a fade in her mind of who this was- Jyo..Jyo... the name hit no bell. She paled slightly, "I don't know what's happened."
She lowered her gaze, keeping blind eyes off someone who could see, someone who knew her- she could hear the schok in his voice and it struck deeper than any knife. Had she been someone worth knowing before? Maybe he would be the one to telll her why everyone stayed so far away and why she felt like a broken toy left in an abandoned hallway. Her voice was steady though her sad thoughts, "You see, I lost my memory."

Jyo managed to get to his feet and looked closly at Talbot. Memory loss? But thats not all "You can't see can you?" He asked softly. He took a moment just staring at his friend from a long time ago. He couldn't belive what he was coming back too. No knowladge of Zaire wich he would have to investigate right after this. And now Talbot having these problems. he wondered what may have happend to his other friends and his family.

Talbot smiled, somthing she did best, "Not at the moment, Jyo." Carefully, she shifted to her feet, having heard him stand. Mikon fluttered about, landing on Jyo's shoudler and chittering with worry and with concern. Talbot shifted her weight, putting it evenly on her feet, "Why were you screaming?"

"I... I dont know how to put it exactly. But I'm not at my best right now thats for sure...." e said pausing then sighed. Talbot was his friend weather or not she remembered him. She deserved the truth. "I was killed. Talbot. WHile looking for Zaire. I made a deal with deth and have been given a second chance. I awoke and things were very foggy in my head. Sudden;y in a flash all the memories and pain from what happended flooded into me at once." he said.

Talbot nodded slightly, "It was your mind coming back into function. Memory is only one part of the mind but it should be enough to cause a big headache."
Blind eyes moved as if she could see him clearly- though she couldn't, "Jyo, what are you to me?"

"No it was more. All the wounds I sustained were felt." he said then fell silent. But it didn't last as Talbot spoke. "We were friends. Good friends. Not exactly close. But when things were different from now we could trust each other and in combat you were a friendly rival of mine. There was alot of respect and many good times between us." he said knowing that it would probably be very harsh not to know how you interacted with someone before.

She bobbed her head as if confirming a thought, So then maybe I wasn't a bad person after all.
Talbot crossed her arms, "If you are fine, then I should leave you to get your rest. I will surely see you-" she paused, her lower lip trembled for a moment then she turned away, "I'll catch you later, Jyo."
Having remembered how she had gotten in, she walked out the door with a saddened Mikon following close behind. Chittering softly in worry.
