Hadrian moved off of her and she sighed softly. She could breathe better now that he was off. She looked over at him and smiled because he was beaming like a child that had just gotten what he always wanted. He leaned over and cupped her cheek kissing her gently. Her eyes closed as he kissed her and she returned it willingly.
When it broke her carefully gathered her up and pulled her close to him. She smiled up at him as he held her like she was the most precious thing in all his life. This was what it must feel like to really have someone love you. When they carefully hold you and in their eyes it is only for you and no one else. She reached up and ran her finger tips through his hair and then down his cheek as her ice crystalline blue eyes stared up into his returning red orbs.
He told her how much he loved her and she smiled softly. This was definatly a side of Hadrian she had never seen before but one she was definatly liking a lot. It was truly nice to be able to share feelings this well and with each other not having to almost force the male to say it.
"Hadrian, I love you too." she said softly with a smile. "Oh honey, I'm so tired, I hope you don't mind if we sleep now." she chuckled softly.
She pulled out on his arms slowly as she kissed him gently because she loved him so very much. And with Hadrian actions were indeed louder than words and here was an action just for him. She broke the kiss and slid her panties back on before buttoning up her shirt. She hated sleeping in pants so she folded them gently and placed them to the side. Looking up at Hadrian she smiled.
"I want to sleep in your arms for the rest of my life." she whispered. And then she blushed. "Oh my, that sounded corny, I'm sorry." she chuckled softly.
She lay down and pulled the covers over the both of them. She threw a throw pillow at the light switch and hit it. She winced.. okay shoulder was totally not ready for that. But now she was back to normal for the most part just had to work on her self esteem again.
"Good night my love, pleasant dreams." she whispered as she closed her eyes and began to drift. Wasn't asleep yet but began to drift. "Tomorrow.. I might.. change my hair.. back.. what do .. you think Hadrian?" she whispered softly.

He smiled softly down at her as she looked back up at him, her beautifully crystalline blue eyes returning the love that he felt for her. He stroked her hair softly as he continued to hold her for what felt like a lifetime. In reality it was only a few minutes that he was holding her, but it certainly felt like forever. He sighed softly at the way her finger tips ran through his hair and down his cheek.
She told him she was tired and wanted to sleep and then kissed him. It was the most loving kiss he had ever recieved and the very kiss itself almost took his breath away. It was good to know she felt as deeply about him as he felt about her. He smiled softly and nodded as she slipped her panties back on and buttoned up her shirt, readying herself for sleep.
Hadrian chuckled softly as she said she wanted to sleep in his arms for the rest of her life then apologized for how corny it was. He lay down beside her, wrapping his arms lovingly around her, "Nothing that passes through your beautiful lips can be corny," he said, kissing her forehead gently as he lay with her.
Then she started to drift off to sleep, wishing him a good night and pleasant dreams. He nuzzled against her as she asked him what he thought of her changing her hair back, "Whatever pleases you love, I think you are beautiful no matter what you do to your hair" he said, giving her one final goodnight kiss before he too started to drift of too sleep

When morning broke on the rather large room the warm sunlight fell down on the two of them curled up in each other's arms. Celeste lay there clean for the first time in days and her bruises were healing. She was even allowing just a smidge of her magic to take over the worse ones and help them along on their road to recovery but she was by no means going to let them all go. But she was indeed feeling better overall now that Drake and Hadrian had come to her rescue.
She woke as the sunlight fell upon her battered face. She groaned softly and felt an arm holding her close. For a minute she thought it was Angra because he usually slept with her but the arm was larger than Angra's and aside from that the way he held her gently yet protectively was something Angra had never done. It was then she remembered all of last night and a soft smile crossed her face even before she opened those crystalline blue eyes. Her eyes opened and she smiled softly. Somehow everything about today seemed brighter and better than the others before it.
Celeste carefully sat up letting his arm move from her body gently. She turned to see her sweet Hadrian sleeping peacefully. She smiled softly and leaned over kissing his nose gently right between the eyes she smiled. Her body always hurt worse in the morning because during the night it healed a bit on it's own and stiffened with the new tissue and repairs having been done to it. She groaned under her breath as she sat on the edge of the bed and thought about her first action of the day. She didn't want to wake Hadrian, and she would cook him breakfast if she could stand up that long without her ribs killing her.
She got up and winced through the pain biting her lower lip as she made her way to her desk. There she got a book and then made her painful way to the window seat where she finally sat down. She breathed heavily for a moment and closed her eyes. Man why did pain make you so sleepy. She leaned back against the wall and looked out at the courtyard below. She then opened her book and began to read it at that fast rate that only she could. She would finish it easily in fifteen minutes unless Hadrian woke and interupted her which was definatly fine with her.

Hadrian smiled softly in his sleep, this was one of the few times when he had slept peacefully and without any incident. Despite the normally cold and unfeeling exterior that he tended to put up Hadrian suffered from nightmares. Nightmares of his time at the Nephilim Corporation, they were vivid nightmares about the torture and pain that had been inflicted upon him during his time at Nephilim. The worst part about those nightmares were that in them he seemed to revert back to his psyche before he learned to accept pain as pleasure and he relived life when he feared pain. It truly was horrible but now last night and this morning he slept so peacefully and soundly, holding his precious Celeste in his arms as he slept.
He stirred a little in his sleep as he felt her leave his arms, but remained asleep. Hadrian continued to sleep soundly late in to the morning and awoke with a loud yawn, sitting up and rubbing his eyes sleepily. He was greeted by the sight of Celeste making him breakfast, he sighed softly at the sight of her...she was breathtaking. He smiled and scratched the back of his head sleepily as he stood up and dressed.
"Good morning," he said in a soft voice as he came up behind her, slipping an arm around her waist and kissing her on the cheek lovingly, "Celeste...you did not have to do this for me," he said with a smile as he held her to him as she made him breakfast. She was incredible, even in the pain she was in she cared enough for him to make him breakfast, he could not believe that one being could have so much love as Celeste did. It seemed as if she had enough love for everyone and everything in the world.

Celeste heard Hadrian yawn loudly and her blue eyes darted up to him from the stove in the kitchen. The eggs were done and she turned off the stove pouring more than half waaaay more than half on Hadrians plate and a little bit on her own. He came up and wrapped her arms around her waist gently and she leaned into him.
These were not just eggs. Oh no, Celeste didn't skimp on the tastiness of her breakfasts. Amid the eggs were green and red peppers finely cut and mixed in. Cheese sprinkled over the top melting just right not to be stringy but to give it that tasty feel and texture. Little bits of real bacon not some store brand bacon thing but pure fried fresh this morning becon and a wee bit of sausage. Small pototaoes had been cut into another skillet to create hashbrowns and she again gave Hadrian a large portion filling his plate completely now and gave the rest to herself. It was a feast that would definatly keep you full until lunch.
"I know that, but I wanted to do something nice for you and I'm feeling a bit better today thanks to you. And to Drake." she said softly as she nuzzled into his chest gently.
She turned around and looked up at him kissing his neck gently and lightly. She hugged him softly and closed her eyes letting her body relax into his for a moment. It was hard to stand a long time with the pain that was still coursing through her body but she no longer hid it from Hadrian she was going to be honest it was the only way he would know if she was getting better or not. She picked up his heavy plate and smiled handing it to him.
"Here, it's your breakfast." she said as she grabbed her own plate and went to the table setting it down. Her table was a dark brown wood that was polished and clean. She opened the fridge and poured them both some fresh orange juice before finally sitting down.
She reached over and took his hand gently bowing her head. Yes, this angel prayed as per tradition or just beliefs but she truly did believe in a higher power. She thanked the Lord silently for this food whether Hadrian decided to pray or not was up to him. It wasn't but a minute or so when she whispered Amen and looked up at him smiling. She squeezed his hand gently and then picked up her fork beginning to eat slowly. Her mouth only opened so far in the mornings because of the swelling and the pain but it was enough to get her fork in.
"I hope you like it." she said softly. She looked a bit nervous but considering what had happened last time she had cooked for a man much less her boyfriend it was to be expected. So she watched him tentatively and ate her own food waiting.

Hadrian groaned a little as he felt her pain. Part of their connection was that he could feel her pain and emotions from time to time. Right now her pain was still strong enough that he could feel it quite easily. He smiled though, ignoring the pain almsot entirely as he looked at the feast she had prepared for breakfast.
"Celeste..you are amazing you know that?" he said with a grin as she told him she did it because she wanted to do something nice in return for the help that he and Drake had given her yesterday. He sighed softly as she nuzzled into his chest and he squeezed her against him gently, "Truly amazing," he said with a smile.
He took the plate she had given him and sat down at the table. Hadrian looked down at his plate, the delicious looking feast she had prepared almost seemed too good to be true. Apparently one of her other hobbies was cooking because she seemed very adept at it. He squeezed her hand back after respectfully bowing his head while she prayed.
Hadrian started eating the lavish breakfast feast right after she had finished the prayer. It was all so good, it was like he was tasting professionally cooked meal, "Celeste...it's wonderful," he said with an appreciative sigh as he continued to eat the amazing meal she had cooked him.

Celeste gently began eating her meal and worried a bit about what Hadrian might think. She hadn't burned it or anything but still if it wasn't good he might decide that he didn't want it or her anymore. She sighed softly as she ate waiting for his approval or not. She was in mid bite when he exclaimed what a wonderful cook she was and she chuckled.
"I'm glad you like it, Hadrian." she said softly.
It was definatly a relief when he told her that he liked it. Honestly she was waiting for a blow. She knew that Hadrian's temper was short even though it wasn't short so much with her it was short all together. But his smile and the way he practically shoveled the food into his mouth made her giggle softly. She went back to eating her small meal and in no time she was done. She sat back and sipped her orange juice gently.
"So.. what shall we do today?" she asked softly knowing that if they went anywhere he would have to carry her. Standing up for long enough to cook breakfast was taxing enough. She smiled as she watched him eat his breakfast. He really was so cute when he let his guard down and let you see who he really was inside.

He finished the meal she had cooked him with a satisfied sigh. It had been a very delicious and filling meal. Hadrian picked up his dish and then hers and moved to the sink to start cleaning their dishes. As he ran hot water over the dishes and started to scrub them with a soapy sponge he started to hum gently. She certainly was changing him and one could assume it was for the better. He was learning to open up more and be more in touch with his feelings. Though he would still probably continue his ritual of emotional cleansing before missions or before he was required to kill. Emotions were powerful but they would certainly interefere when it came to doing his job which was killing. Because what else could he do? He had no other skills, he was designed and created to kill.
He shook his head a little as he continued his gentle hum and focused on the task of washing the dishes. It was the least he could do to repay her for the wonderuful meal. He could not resist letting a small smile come to his lips as he finished washing the dishes and put them away. He turned to face her with a small smile as she asked him what they were going to do today.
He scooped her up and moved her over to the window where he sat, holding her in his lap so they could look out over the city bathed in the light of the morning sun, "I believe you said something about getting your hair returned to its normal color," he said, massaging the small of her back gently, "But you're still in pain...especially after being up and about so much making me breakfast," he said with a soft smile, "Maybe we should just let you rest for the rest of the day," he suggested, "We could spend a nice day in if you wanted," he offered, giving her a soft kiss on the cheek.
