Vrac put down his coffin in the room. It was a small, empty and boring room with ugly grey walls and an even worse green floor. The coffin was really heavy but it was no real problem for him for this short walk and during the night. After the incident where his coffin had been found in the lower academy he had decided that it was to much of a risk to stay down there so he had managed to get a room in the basement of one of the dorms. The housekeeper stood nervously and watched as Vrac put the coffin in a good place.
"This will do. It might actually look kind of good if I decorate it. Thank you for your help, I'll be fine now. And please ask the neighbours upstairs not to hang crosses on their doors, they give me a headache."
The housekeeper looked reliefed to leave and said:
"Sure, no problems. If anything would come to your mind just give me a call. I'll put up a note about the crosses and crusifix and everything like that. I hope you undestand that I can't forbid them but I'll ask them to think about you."
Then he took off. Vrac knew that the crusifixes and crosses would appear anyway most likely but he felt better when he asked about it. Of course everybody in the building knew that a vampire had moved in here and most likely he'd have to figure out how to stop any attempts to get rid of him but that'd be a later problem. First of all he needed to do something about the room itself. While he stood there thinking he heard footsteps and smelt blood behind him coming.

Vladamir slowly wiped th blood from the corner of his mouth, a very good feeding tonight. Poor women hadn't even known she was being rained until it was to late, such a sad thing to see your prey give in so easily. Of course Vladamir always did live hunting, choosing to attack the people of Babylos once every two or three days. They would be fine later, Vladamir would make sure not to drain them completely so as to turn them into ghouls or vampires, no he would just take enough to ensure that they were alive and would remember nothing.
His first hunt, almost two months ago, had resulted in him killing a woman, her death was still a mystery to most of Arcane, although Vlad knew the school would know by now. However when you're a figurehead inside Blood Society you tend to be seen.... differently.
Rounding a corner in the lower dormitories Vlad's keen nose picked up the scent of a coffin, a very old coffin. Smelled like mahogany... maybe birch... either way it was old, but it was near. asking off down the halls Vlad's supernatural speed kicked in and he came into view of a lit room, dimly lit but still lit. He smiled as he came into the room and low and behold another vampire. How old this one was Vladamir didn't know but he looked young.
"Well whata'ya know... another vampire, Blood Society?"

So, it had been another vampire. Vrac turned around and looked at him. He recognized him from the time in the society. It was Vladamir, he had been good with blades and some sort of magic that Vrac couldn't remember. This could be fatal. But to keep his manners and his promis he couldn't attack at once. And who knows, he might even leave without giving a damn.
"I'm afraid not anymore. We had a little dispute and so I ended up here instead. I think I've seen you before. Vladamir, right? I'm Vrac Dudall, at your service."
The last part was said as he bowed slightly.

Vald's eyes glowed softly as the light hit them, his tongue came out to lick of a last drop of blood and he savored it, it had only been two days this time, but he was still enjoying his food. Hearing that the man wasn't of Blood Society anymore Vlad smirked a bit, his eyes already telling that he could only think of two reasons why Blood Society would throw him out.
"So did you betray them or did you get to be to much of annoyance, a supporter of the OLD Blood Society. You obviously aren't royalty or you'd be walking over those rules... tell me... how did you know my name... I', only 16 years old, a vampire new born, and yet you know me so well."
Vlad's hands stayed hidden under his cloak, his armor tightened a bit as he readied himself in case this man was actually working for the Society to kill him. He had enemies inside Blood Society, he had enemies everywhere, but he wasn't a fool and he wasn't about to be killed off by some common vampire.

Vrac put his hand on the hilt of the sword as he watched Vlad. He didn't know as much as he acted to know but he knew roughly the looks, style and name of him. If he was still working for the society he would prove difficult with those swords but Vrac didn't think he'd lose to him.
"I like to keep my eyes and ears open, something that you might want to try if I may say so. Otherwise anyone still in the society would know that I'm wanted for murder. I still claim that I'm innocent since they insulted my name and honor but who listens to the son of a lord from the middle of nowhere? Now that you know that, do you want to try take my head?"
As he said the last part he slowly drew his rapier.
"And for your information I'm a supporter of the old society as well. And to be honest I thought you'd be older than 16. At least half a century but I guess that wouldn't have been much to brag about then."

Vlad's hands slowly slipped onto the hilt of his weapons, this guy was a murderer inside the Society? While Vlad was still welcome inside Blood Society he wasn't a very warm person to be received. He was more than not welcome in some places, mainly the places were there were any humans, food was all they were, noting but food.
"Don't worry, I won't take your head back to those bastards at Society. As far as I'm concerned every last one of them died when they signed an alliance with this hell spawned academy."
Vlad let his hand slip of the hilt and come to rest at his side under the cloak, go figure that he would find someone else who hated the Society like he did. He was royalty yes, but probably from somewhere like Siberia where it didn't make a difference if you were a lord or a peasant.
"So, where are you from exactly?"

"That, I'm afraid, is of no matter anymore. The area from which I come has been changed severly and all that is left is what I sleep in."
He let go of the hilt and pointed at the coffin. He'd been lucky ths time and it didn't seem like everyone in the society was against him. But he couldn't be sure since noone with a brain would trust a vampire that wanted to backstab him. And you never knew when they did want to.
"But are you really only 16? It's rare to meet so young vampires. At least I rarely do. Are you a warrior or a mage?"

"What do you think these blades say?"
Vlad pushed his cloak back to reveal the hilts of two scimitars. Both were wrapped in leather and both were only a few years old. They were the last thing Vlad's father had given him before he died, now Vladamir treasured them like nothing else. Of course actually drawing the blades would reveal of deadly they truly were, but for now he would leave them sheathed.
"Although I do dabble in magic."
Bringing his hand straight out over the ground Vladamir allowed any dirt on the ground to gather below his hand and then it snaked upward, like a small twister. The dirt was now sand as it twisted and turned around Vlad's hand, and with a flick of his wrist it was gone, spread to the air to settle back down as it chose.
"I can control sand.I'm a mage-sword."

"I see. I thought that it was best to ask since you never know around here. I have never really been able to care about magic. One blade or axe is mostly just as effective or more. Especially right after a meal don't you think?"
Vrac sat down on the coffin since it was the only object in the room. This probably was no assassin or hitman from the society so he let himself rest a bit.
"I would ask you to sit down and offer you something but I've just moved here and I don't really have much to offer. But please have a seat here on the coffin if you wish, or stand if you prefer. I haven't decided what kind of furniture I'll have here bt I'm thinking. I didn't expect that there were more vampires here. Are there more than us? Or other kinds of undead?"
This was pretty vital information. If he played his cards right he might even be able to build up some sort of outbreak community from the society. Maybe...

Vlad shook his head at the statement about a meal. He had hacked apart his first victim, like she was nothing more than a rat in the street. He grinned thinking about it, she had sweet blood, yes sweet and sultry. She was an amazingly good feed.
"W have two vampire teachers and supposedly an undead person around here, not sure though. The two teachers are Academy dogs though, so don't think we can trust them. I'm currently 'working' on getting our own ranks built up."
With that Vlad flashed his fangs in a grin, a grin that said he was going to be turning as many people as he could to their side, turn them into vampires, turn them into his minions.

"I think I see how you think. I take it that you aren't very fond of the society either. So I have a proposal: Let's cooperate, create as many vampires as possible and make as many other vampires as possible go to our side. If we do that we may break free from the society and create our own. I'm pretty sure that you had this in mind and I must say that I'm bond by my honor so that I cannot bite a student or teacher who haven't attacked me without a proper challenge. But I can talk with other vampires and make them join our ranks just as I can bite normal people down on the earth. If we build our base In the lower academy we may avoid detection and we will be free from daylight. What do you think?"
Vrac was getting exited. This was something to do. A goal to pursue and accomplish. He might finally get revenge on the society who slandered his name and threw him out.

Vlad laughed, he laughed hard and he laughed AT this vampire. Start a Society here? In the lower halls, was he inane. No this would take extreme subtlety, it would require that the two of them work in the shadows and not even have name or a connection.
"What are you stupid? You wanna create a society right in the heart of the TRACKERS HQ? That's iek inviting them to stab you in the heart and behead you. No what we need is a more subtle approach, one that even the Trackers won't pick up on."
Vlad leaned against the door frame and placed on foot up against it, bent at the knee he lowered his head and closed his eyes, taking on the role he played best, leader.
"Now what we do is convert a couple students, let them seek us out, someone always wants immortality. Once we have those two in our pocket we let the others trickle in as they wish, that way we can';t say we were attacking, is was a willing act. On Earth we do nothing, I can call up the older Blood Society at any time, use my parents death as a martyr and really them to our cause. Don't' worry, it may take time but these fools will learn to respect the Pact of Blood."
Pact of Blood, it had a nice ring to it, and as Vlad as it's head it would flourish in darkness.

"I can see how you reason. I'm not used to act from the shadows like an assasin but I suppose we'll have to do it your way. But I would prefer and recomend that you didn't laugh at me. That's the reason I was thrown out of the society to begin with. And I wouldn't like to abort this 'pact of blood' just because of that. But I like the name, it sounds really nice and It's not to different from the societys name so people won't think we're something else. And we've got time enough to do this. In fact time is just about everything I've got, and to spend it making humans and those cowardly vampires in the society fear us in a proper way would be the best way to spend it."
Vrac didn't like people laughing at him but since this was a possible ally and since he was so much younger than him he let it slip this time.
But it would mean that I might have to bite someone and break my promise... But now that I think about it I only promised not to bite anyone in the city. If I can make them go down to the earth I'm free to do so.
"If you keep an eye on people here and see who's worth turning into a vampire you do that. I'll have to keep my part down on the earth since I only promised not to bite anyone in the academy. That way I can work and keep my honor at the same time."

"Don't worry about a thing, you won;t even do a ting until I tell you to. There's to much at stake to have anything even be known outside of us two. Tell a soul and I take your head, simple as that. There are vampire hunters at this school, I would rather they not know what we're up to."
Turning in the doorway Vlad raised a hand in a wave goodbye, he would leave the man to his own devices, Vlad was done for now. It would be months before anything really happened to the Pact of Blood, Vlad's new group. This vampire was just another pawn who thought he had power and didn't, his honor kept him from power. Smiling to himself Vlad turned a corner and dashed off, he needed to go feed again, he was excited.
