Looking through those large, plastic goggles, he watched his gloved hand begin to angle the glass vile, that oddly-glowing green liquid pouring into the dull blue one. A white smoke began to rise, falling over the edges of the large glass container, pooling around his feet and expanding rapidly around the room. So far, so good.
Reaching over slowly, Onira grabbed another small vile containing a nuclear-looking red liquid. Once again he poured, this time into the mixture, which was now completely tansparent, but dissolved into purple upon contact with the red. The smoke began to thicken, now carrying a sort of blue tint to it. Only a liiiiiiittle bit more.
His fingers lightly dancing across the table, Onira picked up another item. This time it was a multicolored stone, containing many flecks of purple, blue, green, yellow, and a small amount of light brown. He placed the stone into a beaker, picking up the container, and pouring the purple mixture into it. The stone instantly dissolved, the liquid beginning to bubble, many flecks of unnamed colors appearing in it. The smoke stopped, Onira now almost completely blind from the smoke around the room. The next part would be a little fuzzy.
He reached over on feel alone, touching a knob and holding it in his fingertips. He twisted it, a quick flash of light appearing in the corner of Onira's eye.
Oh no. This is... not good.
The flash quickly expanded, filling the room with rapid succession, and forcing Onira backwards with remarkable amounts of force. He ripped through the wall like it was paper, crashing into the opposite side of the hallway with a thud! However, the drame wasn't completed yet.
The door to Onira's dorm was smacked easily out of the frame, embedding itself into the wall sadly in it's path. The rest of the wall suddenly exploded outward, thousands of shards of dry wall becoming projectiles in the hallway. This left Onira's dorm completely exposed to the outside world, himself now being able to see the dameg inside. His closet's door was caved in, as was his washroom, and bed was nowhere to be seen. But possible worst of all, was the other wall. It was just... gone. There was no trace of it left except a few stray chunks of dry wall, Onira gazing out upon the clouds.
He cried.
"Why meeeeeeeeeee...?"
He stood up slowly and lazily, almsot falling over but regaining himself. He looked throught ehc harred wreckage, jsut standing there and gazing.
"Why has everything I've tried these past few days either involved failure, or MY POSSIBLE DEATH?!!! GAAAAAAH!!!!"
He fell to his knees, screaming angrily at his failure, noticing now the charred pair of goggles sitting in-front of him, and black soot all over his hands, his lab coat now ripped to shreds.
"DAMN IIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!"

Nanashi was bored out of his skull. He was sitting around his dorm with nothing to do. He had checked the training grounds very recently, and nobody was there, or at least nobody worth fighting. Everybody he had challenged had been knocked out within moments. Hell, he hadn't even used his scrolls, and had split his sword once, then returned it, and ignited it three times. He had only used about a fifth of his mana.
Nanashi was about to check the training grounds again, out of lack of anything better to do, when he heard a boom (Will remove if there wasn't one) and a large amount of cracking. Then screaming. Nanashi redirected himself in the direction of the noise.
The scene he saw was rather spectacular once he arrived where he could presume the noise was coming from. One dorm had gotten it's door blown off, and the wall severely damaged. A quick look inside revealed that the rest of the room was totally trashed. One wall had been entirely blown out, and surely the people to either side would NOT be pleased.
The screaming man was just inside. He was wearing what appeared to be the remains of a lab coat and safety goggles. Seeing as how... distressed he looked, it would probably be safe to assume that he was currently in his own dorm.
Nanashi might or might not have been noticed by now. If not, he would make sure he was. This person probably needed a little help.

Onira was about half way to finishing a game of bloody knuckles with the floor before he heard Nanashi. He quit destroying it to look up, still a mix of anger and sadness on his face. He was pissed that the experiment failed, but also quite distressed that he no longer had anything that justified as a dorm. It was just more like a smoldering platform.
"What?! If you wanna complain about the mess then wait till I'm finished."
He pressed his hands into the carpet, himself already knowing that he didn't have near enough focus in order to transmute the dorm back to at least not charred. But still, there was nothing keeping him from continuously bashing the hell out of the floor.
"DON'T JUDGE ME, CARPET!!!!"
He grabbed a big handful between his fingers, ripping out a piece of the hallway's carpet. From there he just continuously bashed it in with his knuckles. He did so for a good thirty seconds before finally stopping, letting himself breathe, getting the tension out of himself.
Onira stood up, looking now at Nanashi with a smile on his face. He seemed quite pleased now. Of course, there was still a little bit of tension left, with which he vented by knocking out a piece of dry wall dangling off what was left of his dorm wall, still with that somewhat creepy smile.
"Well hi!"
He stood in-front of Nanashi now, offering his hand for him to shake it.
"How are ya?"

"I don-"
But it looked like any further comment would fall on deaf ears. This person seemed to be intent on making the floor feel even more agony that it was already in. A pity that it didn't have a nervous system, and therefore couldn't feel pain.
"DON'T JUDGE ME, CARPET!!!!"
At the point the other man had shouted that, Nanashi was rather convinced that he was insane, or at least mentally instable. Or just plain stupid. Finally, he stopped, and started breathing deeply.
Or just very, very pissed... At least he's trying to calm down...
Well, now the other man looked up, smiling. It wasn't an evil smile, even if it was... irregular. Then he bashed the wall again, and Nanashi instinctively put one hand on his sword hilt, and the other inside his robe, touching his fire scroll. The other man then stood, greeted Nanashi, and asked how he was almost like they were old friends.
Nanashi was now genuinely creeped out.
"F-fine, I guess... I wasn't complaining about the mess, I'm a bit down the hall..."
Nanashi's right hand left his sword hilt, and shook the other man's. His left remained where it was.
"May I ask your name? Mine is Nanashi..."

"The name's Onira, Nanashi."
He shook Nanashi's hand for a moment before letting go and letting his hand once again fall to his side. He looked down at himself, now, looking back up and taking off what was left of the lab coat. One could see now that he was wearing a partially charred blue T-shirt, fairly tight against his body. As well, he wore a pair of grey sweat pants, and finally a few of hole-filled grey (Originally white) socks.
Onira took a deep breath. In through his nose, and out through his mouth. That leveled him a bit, now possessing a not quite as creepy smile. It was now mroe sincere instead of borderline psychotic.
"Well, I'm gonna try and fix this room up a bit. You wanna help or watch?"
He'd let it loom in the air for a moment, not really waiting for a reply before walking into his blackened room, scanning around with his violet orbs. It was a little challenging looking for a spot where he could fix but not burn himself. It was a good twenty or so seconds of spotting before moving on to the alchemy part of the plan. One just hoped he had enough focus to do it.
Finally he walked over to the left wall, seeing a small patch next to the entrance of his bathroom that wasn't charred. On this patch he placed his left palm, a light beginning to dwarf that of the incoming sunlight, quickly flowing all around the room, engulfing it all in the glow.
The light faded back, showing the room now brand new. You know, except for the fact that there was no doors and no walls giving him at least some privacy from the outside world. Besides that, though, all the furniture was put back together, and the best part, no more char marks.
He turned to Nanashi.
"Whadda ya think?"

"I'd love to he-"
Again, the remainder of the sentence was cut off, due to the fact that Onira probably wasn't listening. Instead, he was stepping into his dorm again, then scanning for a while, before walking into an area in the bathroom, then beginning something amazing. Onira's hand glowed with such incredible brightness that Nanashi shielded his eyes. When he looked back, the room was in about 75% of it's usual state. Now it looked like the walls had been hit with a wrecking ball rather than a violent explosion inside.
"Wow. Impressive. But what about the wall?"
Nanashi pointed, though surely it was unnecessary. It was unlikely that Onira did not know what he was talking about, seeing as it was probably the most obvious piece of damage in the entire room. The wall to the hallway was also in less than desireable condition, but that could be fixed easily. Also, the door. Without asking if Onira would like him to or not, Nanashi quickly used his elementalism to put the door back in it's place, then fuse the hinges back together. Luckily, the other half of the hinges were still there, rather than blown off the wall. He also made the doorframe shift into a more desirable condition, moving the more damaged parts to the core. It wouldn't be quite as strong as before, but it at least looked nice.
"I'm afraid I can't help with the wall much... I don't do sheetrock. I use scroll magic and elementalism, and there IS a way I can make a wall... Regular old rock, though. Shall I give it a try?"
Nanashi waited for a response. It was traditional to ask before replacing someone's wall with something very... different.
