Xavier sighed as he looked at the clock and then rested his head back against the pillow. He groaned annoyedly as he got up from the bed and paced around their room. This was ridiculous, they should be out partying, living it up it was a holiday for Gaia's sake. As soon as Lex walked through the door Xavier jumped her with the proposition, "Lex! It's New Year's Eve and we're not gonna stay shut up inside," he said taking her hand in his, "We're should be out partying!" he exclaimed excitedly as he jumped a little, "C'mon Lex New Year's Eve is basically just one big excuse to have fun and party...I don't wanna be shut up inside when basically the whole world is partying," he said and then grinned when he remembered the sign he'd seen, "That's right the Academy's having a New Year's party and we're going," he said with a definitive nod.

Xavier was already moving to the close to dress before Lex had time to protest. This time, for once, Xav was going to get what he wanted one way or another.
