Chephros finally walked into his room at the Academy. It was supplied as he was an emissary for the Blood Society and he figured he could use it rather than find some random place to hide. Moving inside he forgot to shut the door but didn't figure he would need to. He really didn't plan on staying in the room for longer than a half hour to an hour at most, but who knew what could happen. As soon as he entered the room his wings unfurled. They expanded a bit, as much as they could without knocking things over. The demon glanced around and smirked. The place had been arranged to give him room if he needed to stretch. However his wings couldn't reach full wingspan otherwise the walls would have to expand to allow for them. There was the training place if that was needed though.
Then of course he remembered the last time he had slept was in the hospital wing. Those beds weren't exactly comfortable and so when he sat down on his bed he was enticed to lay down on it. At first he just crossed his arms over his chest, taking his wrist blades off first so nothing happened, and he stared at the ceiling. When one is laying on something more comfortable than normal though, one is enticed to sleep if they are tired. He was a bit, and so while he was relaxed he slowly came into a light sleep. He knew it would happen, and he almost welcomed it. What he didn't welcome though were the dreams that soon followed. The ones that haunted him unless he was literally in an unconscious state as he was under the tranquilizer.
His body was seemingly paralyzed in the real world as it didn't move. His face didn't even grimace. In his mind though he was trying to do something to get out of the hellish plane that was his dream scape. He was himself running through the snow covered woods as he did in the past. Then time seemed to play through several alternates of what could have happened. Instead of the rock he threw, it was the knife which pierced through the girl's body and hit the tree, bloodless still as it had passed through too quickly. Another time the rock hit her neck and caused her head to whiplash. She ran into a tree then. He walked over and simply cut her to pieces. The problem was that whenever this happened, it was always him killing her instead of what really happened which was him getting other humans to come by alone and then killing them. This tortured his mind badly and he finally seemed to wake up, although it wasn't in a good way.
His shockwaves, even though they were weak, could be felt and had some force behind them. They could push most, if not all, people back a few feet. Upon waking up Chephros had released one of his demonic shockwaves straight towards the doorway, or rather straight forward as his bed faced the doorway diagonally, it being in one of the corners, and blasted forward. It didn't damage the walls, but instead passed through. It hit the wall on the other side of the door though and created an indent in it. Apparently the power had died through distance to where it did affect material objects besides living beings. Still fully dressed in his armored clothes, Chephros got to his feet rather quickly. He had heard something moving, and he moved to the doorway to figure out what.

After a long day at the academy Raiden made his way back towards the dorms. On all accounts, Raiden found this day to be okay, but the feeling of being uncomfortable in the academy didn't go away. It was kind of nice interacting with others, especially after being asleep for so long. For all others around him, Raiden did his best to display his humane-like side to others.
For some reason it had gotten to be a little harder. Maybe it was the fact that humans and demons are too different. Raiden sometimes periodically attract the wrong kinds of attention without even trying. It was frustrating really...why do some humans display such dislike for someone different from them? Raiden thought this over many times, and came to a conclusion that it could only be fear. Thoughts like this angered Raiden, even though he doesn't like being angry...or even displaying any sorts of anger for that matter.
The more he thought like that the more bad thoughts resurfaced in Raiden's mind. Two-hundred years ago Raiden was brought to maddness...and in that maddness he craved something all demons have come to like...human flesh... That feeling was so strong that he brought destruction to an entire village. Raiden didn't want that to happen again...so unlike thet past he was going to go through life with a more passive nature than aggressive. Sadly...that aggresive nature slipped out once when he was at the academy...against Seeker.
Well, that nature was going to be tested again... As Raiden walked down the halls of the dormitory, he was just about to pass by an open door. Raiden felt something rocketing out towards him. Without a second thought Raiden jumped back a few feet, and watched the strange energy wave collide with the wall making an impact. It wasn't a large impact at all so it was okay. Raiden though was alittle unsure of what just happened. Was someone trying to attack me? Raiden's red eyes gleamed though when he caught scent of someone similar to him. "Another demon..." he said in a low voice.

Leaning his head out through the open door, which he was going to close if it was another human student, and noticed red eyes and extended claws for nails. It was another demon. Smirking, Chephros stepped out into the hall. He wasn't going to apologize for hitting him, or nearly hitting him, with the attack, but simply find out who he was. It was the first demon he had seen in a long time, the first one since he had come to the human plane, and so he wanted to find out how this one had managed to avoid being killed as well. Chephros had found the blood society, what did this one do? Join the Academy outright? Doing something like that would mean basically joining the humans and that was not something Chephros was all too comfortable with.
"Now see, under normal circumstances a human would probably apologize for attacking you with such a thing, but in my case I choose to simply wonder why you are here. Are you part of a group other than the Academy or are you here simply because you chose to align yourself with the humans despite your demonic heritage? If so I must say you are a rather weak or fearful demon. So rather, to simplfy my inquiry, who are you and why are you here?"
Bland questions, yes, but they were easy to answer and they gave a decent amount of information. They were broad questions in a sense to where one had leisure to answer, or not to, depending. If they felt like being reclusive, they could give neither, but then Chephros could pry it out of them and that was never fun. Well, for them at least. He was more the demonic aspect of life in which he enjoyed, in most cases, dealing pain and lies. Hence if this demon was the same he would probably invent a name and a reason. If he did, well that was fine. At least they were on the same page.
But then if he did Chephros could talk to people and find out of there really was someone with the name he was given and if there wasn't then he could find this demon and basically rat him out on his own lie. It wasn't hard and it wouldn't prove much, but it would be fun to do. Especially since only two people knew his name so his lies wouldn't be all too easy to destroy. Still, there was the off chance so it really didn't matter. Lies or truths would be accepted but Chephros was wondering how true this one was to his supposed nature.

Raiden looked up towards the doorway to see a head poke out. Once the unknown demons attention went torwards Raiden, he was able to clarify not just by smell, but by sight now that this was another demon. If Raiden wasn't taught to be alittle polite, a small indistinctive snarl would've escaped his fanged jaws. Strange as it is...this was the first time Raiden has even caught scent of this demon. Sure there was many humans in the academy, but Raiden's highly sensitive nose was able to pick out the unusual being from a good long distance.
Where did this guy come from? Did he elude the unwanted attention others have given Raiden. Even so...this guy was strange... When he looked at this guy...it was like he was looking at his old self back from Edo Japan 200 years ago...
Raiden listened as the demon opened his mouth asking Raiden a question. In the demon's question it was apparent that he showed a certain dislike for humans. Raiden used to feel this way also...well actually once he found out they tasted good...he kind of liked them...but that was the old Raiden. Then the demon referred to Raiden as being weak and fearful. Even though Raiden is laid back often...that question was annoying and down right disrespectful.
Raiden in the back of his mind already felt a demon like rival rising inside him. For some strange reason, today his old self wanted to resurface... Focusing back on the demon's questions...he was right about on thing...Raiden had aligned himself with the humans. But this newer nicer side...saw nothing wrong with talking to other humans...even having a caring relationship with a human woman was okay with Raiden. The one thing Raiden usually never shown torwards anyone was hatred.
Raiden got ready to make his reply. As usual it was going to be very few words. That's how he always was, almost completely silent... "Rai...that's all you need to know..." he said calmly, almost in a relaxed fashion. As for the comment about being weak...it didn't bother Raiden at all anymore. Frankly if Raiden worried about what others said about him...he'd go crazy...so frankly...he just doesn't got to care.

"All I need to know eh? What, is there something wrong with me asking anything else about who you are? Honestly, I only need someones race and name. I can figure out their personality pretty well and getting their face is pretty easy when I'm talking to them. You obviously don't want people prying into your life so I'm not going to.
Normally I have the people I'll be friendly to and so on, and then those I'll utterly ignore. You on the other hand will get neither. You apparently want solitude so I am going to give you that if it's what you want. If it's not, then I would suggest never saying the words 'thats all you need to know' to anyone."
Of course there was some slight sarcasm in there, and cockiness as well, but Chephros had grown tired of people giving names out and being so unwilling to share anything else that they tried to defeat prying before it happened. This demon didn't care about people that much. They were either people he would treat semi-friendly if he met them, or people he would treat oddly. The ignoring part was thrown in there to make it look different. He sometimes ignored people, left them in solitude, or constantly bugged them. Whatever might have the greatest, or least, effect.
"Now, it seems to me you want solitude though so why would you be wandering around here? Sure, this goes against what I said but I'm a demon. You can't honestly expect me to tell the full truth can you?"Smirking, he looked at 'Rai', the one who needed only say that and nothing more. That thought almost made Chephros laugh but he restrained himself and only let the smirk slowly get it out of his system.

Race and name? What is this guy? An interrogator? Sure does talk a lot… Raiden said to himself. Honestly it was kind of strange…seeing a demon trying to pry information out of another. It was…weird… Raiden himself never really asks anyone who they are and where they’re from. For the most parts he could give a care about small stuff like that. Raiden has come to learn that small talk like that is bothersome.
Well…the way this guy is talking, its obvious he try to probe all sorts of information out of me. Hasn’t this guy ever heard of curiosity killed the cat? All well…if doesn’t matter. he said to himself. “Hmm? I told my name. Are you unsure of the response?” he said. Raiden’s view of this person was still biases… as far as everything goes. Couldn’t hate the guy, nor so much interest in the guy. Raiden could easily respond with out any trouble at this point.

((Two week stomach virus. Definitely not fun.))
Rai was seriously quiet, and apparently not noticing the real questions he was being asked, and instead asked questions based on side comments. "Yes, I am unsure of your response. Automatically saying that your name is all I need means you are hiding something. Not in partial doubt, but undoubtedly. There is something you don't want known. I really don't care what your hiding, but I know from the fact that you don't want anything known that you like solitude so I'm asking you why your here. Why are you wandering around?"
Slightly confused now, Chephros wondered how this one had managed to completely jumble everything up and ask something after Chephros had moved on already. Mentally he shrugged it aside and simply looked at the other Demon. This was the first one he had seen since he came to this realm, let alone the school. There was something deeply wrong with that, as it meant the world had literally exterminated masses of them that had occupied the place once. Entire blooding groups were gone most likely. That was bad and it would have to be stopped. For now though, Chephros had to know more about the students here, absorb their culture, take classes, gain knowledge and power and then return to the Blood Society.

((Whoa! Ouch... Hope your okay man.))
Raiden scratched his head and looked at the strange again in silence for a couple seconds. He than let out a small sigh like he was holding his breath. Frankly, Raiden wasn't hiding anything, it was that simple. Nothing to be ashamed of what so ever, that part Raiden was sure of. "Well, the name is Raiden," he said. Raiden then shrugged his shoulders as he began to answer the stranger's other question. "This is the dorms right?" Raiden said rethorically. "I was simply on my way to my room," he said. Well, hopefully that be good enough for this guy. Raiden was beginning to think maybe this guy was some kind of detective.
