"Let's call ti a draw" Byron said kindly. sheathing his blade. "If we were to continue, i think you would probably die"
With that, the teacher smiled at Jyo as he approached him, no intent on attacking at all. "You fought quite well Jyo...and kept m on my toes for more then one occasion"

Jyo was breathing slowly and deeply. He saw the teacher wanted to call it off and have it be a draw. he was more than willing because he knew what Byron said was true. He could easily push himself to death.
He nodded and sheathed his weapon. "Thank you sir. Thats was the hardest battle I have ever faced to date." He said with a new tone of respect in his voice. he already had admired Byron since the first class he taught. he now had a better grasp of his teacher's abilities though.
"What did you go through to be at the level you are at sir?" He asked as Bryon came closer and Jyo gave a respectful bow.

"I went through war" The Teacher calmly replied, his face still bearing a calm and relaxed smile. "During the Secret World War, i didn't fight at the front lines, but was rather a medic. However, that changed when I was caught behind enemy lines and forced to fight for my survival...... Regardless, after that, i grew in power by practicing each day and studying my element. After all, if one fully grasp the concepts of their style, they can use it to the most effect"
With that, the Teacher smiled and Jyo and placed his palms facing the student, a light green glow coming from them.
"Here...Let me heal that for you" Byron said kindly

Jyo nodded. So essentially his teacher had followed the same course Jyo was following right now. Work hard and learn all you can. He saw the glow and heard the offer of healing. He gave a nod. "Thank you. What about your shoulder. I'm sure you have had worse but it can't feel too good." He said. He would ask about exactly what his magic fell under when they talked in a more comfortable setting.

"I see...." Byron replied, done with his spell. "Well, if you don't mind....I must go... I have to grade last weeks tests and such.... And remember Jyo, you still have to write a essay on the biography of Sivelos the Silver Handed"
With that, the Teacher turned around and began to walk away.....A smile on his face to know that Jyo would be here in the future to protect the Academy.....

Jyo nodded. "Thank you sir. that was a great and fun learning experiance. I would like to speak with you about this a bit more when you have some free time on your hands. And I'll get those assignments in soon. I got a little distracted." he said feeling his wounds fading.
The teacher walked away and Jyo knew that he wanted to be similar to the man he had just gone against. He was powerful not just in magic and swordsmanship. But also in character. Jyo ignored the stares of the other students who had watched and headed back to his dorm room to recover and also to get the last parts of his assigments completed so he could turn them in on time.
